Amazing Resort

This is a very beautiful resort, with the friendliest staff we have had before! The grounds are well kept, the food is great in all restaurants and the staff are all very accommodating. Some of the over the top staff would be Evelynn by the pools doing a great job at making sure everyone is aware of all pool activities and a fantastic personality for this job (Thanks, from Papa Grandee)! Eduard in the Gourmet restaurant was over the top and let's not forget Obama's fantastic positive energy! All [... read more] i can say is, see you next year!

Amazing but need updating

This hotel has beautiful grounds, well kept resort, very clean but definitely needs updating and renovation on the inside...the furniture are old and musty. curtains get stuck in their tracks or torn, pluming needs to be replaced as some guests complained that there was no hot water for showering . Food was always cold by the time you sit down, the waitresses was always quick to take your plates away and most of all noticed they are not shy to ask for tips...

Great resort!

This is a great resort. We were there for a wedding. The food was great. The beache was clean and beautiful. The aquatics team offered a lot of a variety of water activities to choose from. Great gym facility. The only thing that surprised us was seeing children on the resort (Elegance side) as we were told it was an adults only resort.

High class resort

The grounds , rooms and amenities are high end. The cappucinio, dessert bar is a nice touch. It's nice to have top shelf alcohol. Bottom line is you want to feel pampered ...come to this resort highly recommend it...and get option plus with air transit with the leg room...you wont regret it .

Well managed resort

Resort is beach front and well laid out with minimal walking involved. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful achieving high benchmarks in customer satisfaction while providing solid customer service. We stayed at adult section and upgraded which was an excellent choice as extras were greatly appreciated. Not a 5 star horrible beds mouse at the buffet

Horrible beds we had ants in the first room investing our bags. Then got moved to another room where the mattress was warped and woke up with horrible back and neck pains moved again to another room same problem. On the second last day of our trip there was a mouse eating the desserts inside of the buffet. It was absolutely disgusting. One lady video taped it i wish i had my phone. We are back in toronto and ive had diarehea body pains and stomach pains for 4 days on my way to Drs now. We highly recommend The Majestic Elegance Punta Cana to friends family and people we don't even know!! It would be a great experience for all!! Kerry & Trevor!!

Truly Majestic Elegance

From the moment we arrived to departure was amazing. The greeters, reception, butlers, servers, maids were all exceptional. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the grounds beautifully manicured. The food was the best that I have had at an all inclusive resort and I have been around. With the elegance club, I enjoyed the premium drinks, grey goose, Johnny black etc. The beach had some weeds but a crew worked tirelessly to remove it. The water was still good enough for us to spend about two hours ever [... read more]y day always being supplied with the best drinks. Pools were great and never crowded. A truly wonderful resort. A special shout out to two special people, Luis(QUEBEC), the bellboy and Juan Antonio in the steakhouse.

The best experience ever

Immaculate !! Paradise!!! I was in Punta Cana one other time And thought I loved the resort I was at! Disappointed I couldn't arrange the hotel I wanted for the time I needed.. I researched the Majestic elegance To our amazement it exceeded expectations.. We both agreed while floating in the pool if we ever come south again the only place we will ever go is the Dominican republic to the Majestic elegance Why fix what's not broken?? even the food was bursting with flavour!!! I had fallen a little [... read more] bit ill back in 2011 not even a stomach pain this trip!!! You will not regret it at all!!! my recommendation is to make sure you save enough to book the club side!! :-)

Easily the best resort i've been to in Punta Cana

Beautiful, grand, quiet and relaxing but at the same time lots going on. Service was absolutely fantastic, everyone was very polite and accommodating. It always felt like there were lots of people and lots of activities on the go - but at the same time it never felt over crowded or loud. There was plenty of space to sit back and not take part in activities if you wanted, but you always felt included. The beach and pool areas were amazing and the food was the best resort food I have ever experien [... read more]ced. You will not regret planning your vacation at this resort! P.s. They have a foam pool party every week and it's so much FUN!

A lovely resort

First of all this resort was wonderful. However, there were some minor irritations so I'll list those first before getting to the good stuff. The service was great although I found the greeters at the buffet a bit irritating. It shouldn't take 3 people asking to over and over how many are in your party to get a table at the buffet. Although the service at the buffet from the servers was better than anywhere I've ever been. Also, there is a cupboard in your room where you can put your wet towels  [... read more]and the staff are supposed to put new towels in. This way you can get fresh towels without them coming in your room. I put towels there daily and not once were new towels put back. A number of time we ran out of towels and had to go ask for them. Once I used a hand towel to dry off after a shower. This was my first time in the DR and I was surprised how few staff could communicate in English so asking questions (even of our Air Transat rep) sometimes left us scratching our heads. There is a kids section with small waterslides but there weren't any shaded areas so we didn't end up spending time there with our 18 month old. Music a lot at the beach played at the beach which got irritating because I like to listen to the water. Also, don't bother with the snorkelling excursion ( the $40.00 one). There was easily 15 boats and 100 people floating around one area and besides one fish and lot's of coral we didn't see a thing after an hour in the water. Now the good stuff. It was immaculate. It is a really beautiful resort and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Champagne daily in your room, Coors Light, Pepsi and other pops too. Rooms service if you want it. The food at the buffet, al la cartes, and beach was delicious. I miss having eggs Florentine and Nutella crepes with mimosa in the morning. I actually gained a few pounds there. The drinks were delicious too and every evening, based on the theme of the night (American, Spanish, etc.) they had a specialty drink booth so I got to try lots of new drinks I had never heard of. A live band played every night before the show started. The Irish Coffee was delicious. The pool was lovely to cool off in the afternoon after a morning at the beach. Twice that week there was a foam party and dance contest at the pool which was lots of fun. There were plenty of floaties and beach toys for my 18 month old to play with. The service was great. They really went out of their way to make us happy and are quick. It's not far from the airport which was nice. There is a good pharmacy on the resort and you can also buy things like diapers which was nice. There is a gym there and a spa neither of which we used but we were told by others that both were really good. You can get a massage on the beach or by the pool. Little things like fresh flowers on the tables in the lobby and baskets of cookies were nice. Be sure to take American money with you for buying stuff and tipping. I'm pretty sure I got ripped off at the currency counter. They only gave Dominican dollars and I wasn't familiar with the exchange rate and I think I was ripped off between $40-60. I would highly recommend this resort. It was a very relaxing week.

Amazing Resort

Welcoming was very fast easy, grounds very clean, beach beautiful, activity was super, very entertaining, Mariana's sports club was very good (staff). The Elegence Club was awesome love it . Sea & See night dinning was very good service was slow, Sushi restaurant a little confusing we booked for sushi and ending up eating sitr fry :( :( not to say it wasn't good but not what we wanted. Great Resort

Had a great time at majestic elegance. Staff were amazing throughout the resort. Julio our butler was first class the hotel is huge but never had any issues at any of the restaurants. Food was excellent

Love this resort

This a great hotel was my third time here and will go back. The grounds and beach are kept very clean and you cannot go to the buffet and no find something you like. This resort is well maintained and they look after their guests. I will be returning to the Majestic again. The a la carte restaurants are very good.

Excellent Resort

This is our second time at the resort. Overall this year, we had an excellent time. good food, friendly people and a very clean resort. Lots of night entertainment so see each night. All in all we will go back
