Fantastic Trip!

Everything from start to finish at this resort was fantastic. The food, the people, the cutlure. What an amazing week. I didnt want to come home!!! Make sure you enjoy every restaurant becuase each of them offer amazing choices. Highly recommend a trip to the Lady Hamilton!!

Fantastic resort

The resort and staff were fantastic. The weather was unfortunately poor but the ambience made up for it. The ocean requires water shoes as it is somewhat rocky. The villa we were in had been recently renovated.

Ya Mon! Fantastic Resort!

My husband and I enjoyed this resort immensly! We stayed for a week and experienced the entire resort. The pools were amazing, the beaches we couldn't complain about - the steak was better than the Keg! Our room was nice, we stayed in the Bungalows - the ones with the outdoor shower. The resort is quite big so we did a lot of walking. Some people shuttled from their room to the lobby/main area. We would recommend this resort to a family or a couple. The night entertainement was great and the Casino was fun! We expereienced the Spa and received one of our best massages yet! Also, I couldnt go to Jamaica and not get my hair braided! What an experience! The only damper on our holiday was that it was difficult to get a decaf coffee! Every morning at breakfast,we would ask, most mornings we lucked out and got a decaf, some... we weren't so lucky. Over all, this was a great resort. The people were friendly, the food was amazing, it was very clean, the pools/ocean were awesome! We would definatley recommend this resort to others!

Wonderful Resort

This is a somewhat large resort but transit is provided for those wanting it to travel the premises. The grounds are kept immaculate with daily grooming. Pools are cleaned daily with adequate lifeguard supervision. As retirees, we appreciated having the Adult Only Pool and Coral Beach area without children to allow for a more relaxed and quiet vacation. All meals were well presented, good portions and a large selection to provide something for everyone. All staff, whether maintenance, maidservice, bartenders, waiters, lifeguards or the like were very welcoming and friendly. Our room and building had been recently renovated and updated and was decorated in a tasteful manner. There was adequate linens available and replenished when needed. The refrigerator was also always kept with water, sodas and beer. Little added touches such as flowers on the bed, turn-down services with chocolates, etc. were enjoyed. Our only negative comment would be that an expensive article of clothing was taken from our ground-level terrace. This was reported to Customer Relations and Security who did an investigation but nothing was found and no compensation was offered which was disappointing. All in all, it was a great vacation and we would go back again.

Great resort

Excellent holiday place. Beautiful hotel, good food, lots of things to do!! Beaches and pools were great and I enjoyed the tennis courts and all the activities available at this resort. Overall excellent place to go. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday vacation spot with lots of things to do..

Great Resort

The Resortt is well kept. Grounds are manicured Especially near the spa. Our room was spacious and kleen. We were served premium drinks at the bar. Great resort for families with younger children as well as for older adults. The pools are great. The food was very good at the buffet. We loved the Mexican a la carte restaurant. The live entertainment was great. I would definitely go back and recommend this resort.

Champagne Holiday

Great flight. Thank you Sunwing. Reception was not organized. We booked Lady Hamilton but were dropped off at the Palladium resort and told that we had to check in here. After waiting in a long line up to check in we decided to shuttle ourselves to the Lady Hamilton side and checked in there?? We found this disorganized and disheartening. There were promises to get a more private room etc... as we were celebrating our Champagne anniversary and second visit to the resort. We never heard back from [... read more] anyone at reception and nothing special was done for us. Again very disappointing and did speak with a manager who was only sympathetic but that's all. The room was nice but no privacy as there was a building right across from our balcony. Furniture and décor was new and fresh. Cleaning staff were not efficient at all with never enough towels and days when no cleaning was done or done so late that we never bothered. We did speak to the cleaning manager. The grounds and pools were always kept clean. The entertainment staff is what made our trip memorable. They were always on cue and kept everyone entertained. The shows were amazing at night and we danced on the beach during an amazing bonfire party. Washrooms were kept clean around the resort except the one near the pool bar. Broken porcelain etc... with a busy crowd. Food was great with lots of variety and we always found something good to eat. Gym was fantastic and I (Husband) used it 5 out of 7 days to justify all the food intake. Aside from the reception and Maid service we will be returning to the resort in the summer with our kids as they built a nice water park for them.

A very relaxing stay

The grounds and amenities are fabulous,. Great main pool, nice adult pool too. There are several restaurants, buffet is available for every meal with a good selection for each meal; good full service restaurants as well. The Mexican was our favorite one! Housekeeping services are variable and fairly slow. You need to accept that requests are dealt with on "Jamaican time" (some of the staff actually use this phrase). An couple of examples: We asked for robes that were not in the room as promised, [... read more] we had a knock at the door for delivery at 12:15 am, after we had gone to bed. They ran out of clean towels at the pools a few days and it took quite a while for the staff to get around to bringing more towels. Overall a really good vacation but you need to be patient, be in holiday mode.

Great resort, the villas are amazing!

We've travelled to many all inclusive resorts in Cuba, Mexico and the D.R. This was our 2nd time at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica. We were in paradise. The villas are amazing, food great, will return.

Terrible customer service

This resort is lovely - nice beaches and lots of space, clean rooms and good food. The kids loved the water slides. However the customer service is so bad that we would not return. An enormous lack of service at the buffet restaurant (and we tipped!!), absolutely no response when we requested items in our room (water!!!) and we asked several times. I finally had to go to the front desk and beg for water to feed my infant son his formula. Not acceptable. Every thing about this resort in terms of [... read more] a response or wait time was a logistical nightmare. We arrived at restaurants/spa/buffet on time and always ended up waiting for 20 mins past opening times or appt time. We arrived at noon and our room wasn't ready. We waited around boiling hot until 3:30!! When they finally gave us our key. The resort was half empty. My sister in law requested a room change because the neighbour's pot smoke was coming into her room the whole time and throughout the night and she has a child. She was told to check out at 11 and check into her new room at 3. By 4 pm - nothing. We called reception many times and we were told they're cleaning the room. Finally someone came to the new room (on the other side of us and her old room) at 4:15 and tidied it up -- it was empty the entire time but they were just too lazy to let her in it!!! Ridiculous. We have been to Jamaica lots of times and to many resorts all over. Poor customer service makes for a negative experience all together no matter how nice the beaches are.

Amazing resort

It was our first time in jamica. We had wonderful experience. Quality of service is very good. Food was very testy. Sunset beach was the best pleasure at all.we spent wonderful time and definetly coming back.

Fantastic Vacation

Absolutely beautitful resort. Grounds are well kept. Great pool to lounge around in. Plenty of sunbeds, both at the pool and the beach (in November). Awesome staff who were always smiling. Small beach, which was a little disappointing. There are some areas that have rocks, so you have to be careful in the water. Beautiful large rooms. The food was very good. Lots of selection at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants were great. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

Fabulous Hotel

The food is excellent and the site is very well maintained. The villas are spacious , incredible views of the sea and the outdoor shower was exoticism. I recommend this hotel for people who like to go to the pool because is the biggest I've ever seen.

Great resort!

My husband and I really liked this hotel! The accommodations were good and the food was good. And as the water is filtered, there's no worry about eating salad. The adult pool and bar were nice and quiet. Nice to have three separate beaches. The jerk hut is also very good. I would definitely go back to this resort. The infinity pool is beautiful. The sand is not fine like Cuba but it's good. Some pebbles / shells make certain spots hard to walk bare foot but we walked bare foot without a problem [... read more]. The staff were nice but not overly friendly.

Huge Resort

The hotel is big and the rooms are very nice. The foods are good and the services are also good. The waiter and waitress should smile a little bit not just doing their job because they have no choice. I was served by one waiter which I find it rude but since I'am on vacation, I did not let this situation bother me.

Beautiful Resort!

Resort grounds and pools are lovely. Room was huge and maid service was impeccable. Breakfast buffet at the pool was amazing - what a view! Jerk chicken at the beach for lunch was great. We ate at all of the à la cartes (except for the Indian) for dinner and enjoyed them all - great that there are no limitations on how many times you can eat at these restaurants. We did one excursion - catamaran trip to Negril/Rick's Café - it was a blast:) Beach was OK - manmade so not great for walking and the sand felt funny but the water was clear and warm for swimming. Location - a bit isolated - i.e. expensive taxi fare and long bus rides to anywhere. Flights with Transat were on time. I would definitely go back!

Excellent Resort

This resort was awesome - Food was excellent . There was plenty to do and the events in the evening were wonderful. The staff were knowledgeable and aimed to please, providing us with both Jamaican insight and the opportunity to experience the islands full beauty. I would certainly go this resort again.

Jamaica is the best, amazing pool and hotel

Beautiful property, great service, friendly people who are singing and enjoying life. Jamaica has a positive vibe and is a wonderful country with blue waters. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to return.

Overall enjoyable

Able to accommodate us to get an upgrade. Found Villa suites lacking, and needed the upgrade to fully enjoy resort. Pool attendants and entertainment staff very nice. Didn't like the welcome gift crew too much, very deceiving, they want to meet you and welcome you with two bottles, rum and rum crème, but actually only want you to spend a half day with them as they try to sell you time-sharing. Don't like deception.

Beautiful

Infinity pool was awesome, nighttime at the infinity bar was beautiful! food was good and always hot and plenty full. Service was awesome. Very relaxing vacation! Will definitely go back to this resort!
