We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that we weren't to happy about was the rooms. Other then that the staff were amazing to us. The pool was a nice size for my son to swim in all day. We really enjoyed the beach and the beach bar. There was not enough lay down beds on the beach so maybe you should invest and get some more. But other the that the resort, beach and the food was nice.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: 7 days stay to short

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: A 2star resort

A resort in transition from a one poorly maintained for a number of years to the Memories chain which is slowly making improvements. Pool is too shallow for adults by themselves with a depth of only3 feet. Food is awful in the dining room and specialty (?) restaurant. Meats are over cooked and dry, salads uninspiring and desserts look nice but are tasteless. Flies are a problem and frequently annoying in the dining room.

the staf don t respect the touristes but for the cuban everything is free for all . The room are not secure at all .my back door was broke and the staf didn t care at all if i get rob. Club Amigo Ancon: the exerior of the resort was beautiful .the beach and the grounds were well mantained

had several issues with the service and facilities inside resort the most significant isssue was that there was poor water pressure in the room we were unable to flush the toilet often. our complaints over the week were unanswered. there was also nowhere t exchange money on the grounds and i was unable to tip because of this food at the resort was the same every day and we did not look fprward to eating it wasclear customer service was not a [... read more] priority

Hotel Rancho Luna: Good Place

Hotel is clean and well looked after. It is an old Russian army barracks converted to a hotel. The ocean is 300 metres from the hotel so if you have ocean front you need binoculars. The beach bar and grill is good. Food is bland and over cooked but you can always find something that is okay. Don't go to Cuba for the food. People are nice and friendly. Good value for the price. 4th time there.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Good Vacation

Overall had a great vacation. This resort gives you what you paid for, everything was adequate. The entertainment was very good and we found lots to do between going to the city and excursions. With a little research you can find a lot of cool places in the area.

Club Amigo Ancon: GREAT BEACH...GREATER STAFF!

I wanted a week to relax & recharge; the flight crews, resort staff , Sunwing reps & your tour guides @ Club Ancon made my vacay the best one yet! I felt like a VIP from the second I got on my flight & it continued onto the resort & tour I booked through my rep. The beach was stunning & the snorkeling was serene! Club Amigo Costa Sur: a secret bit of heaven

We loved the Hotel Costa Sur outside of Trinidad Cuba.. It is a small resort on a fabulous beach. We stayed in a bungalow on the beach, a bit more expensive, but worth it. The food was some of the best we have had in over 25 years of going to Cuba. The staff were charming and helpful. Getting into Trinidad is a breeze, It is a World Heritage site, and full of music and good restaurants. That it is only a 3 star is misleading. For people who like beauty, swimming in calm seas, eating simply but well, and especially, peace and quiet, it is a perfect place.

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: The hotel is amazing

The hotel had gone though a lot of renovations over the lost six months and now it is getting so much better the rooms are nicely renovated with new beds 👍they have installed new water lines to all of the building! The pool is nice and clean and the hot tub is being fixed the flower beds are being all redone All new chairs around the pool and at the beach The restaurants have lots of new equipment so the food so much better!!!! Club Amigo Costa Sur: Improving

Great people and good service. The resort has been in a bit of disrepair over the last while but new management has begun to make a difference. We are frequent visitors to this particular resort and recommend it for those who want a quiet get away. In the truest sense please remember your get what you pay for so if you are looking for a glitzy show this is not your ideal resort. Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Another Fabulous Holiday!

We have been to this resort numerous times over the last 12 years and have always been happy with this resort, having said that, this resort used to be Brisas Trinidad Del Mar, in December 2018 it changed management and is now "Memories Trinidad Del Mar", the improvements have been amazing! The employees were one of the reasons we keep returning as they have always gone above and beyond for the guests but even they seem to be much happier. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. The rooms have all been refreshed with coffee pots in all of them. (Little things mean a a lot) The manager is just getting started!! WAY TO GO! We are already looking at booking our next trip!

Nothing has changed in 14 years but a nice little hotel with no so bad 3 star food, right on the beach ( no walking to get there ) Trinidad so closed you have to go everyday for the street fiestas...entertainers are good but shows in general are not, repeat guests have a lobster dinner included

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Ancon from Jan 7-14 and yet again had a great vacation! We visit this Hotel Ancon once or twice a year and have done so for many years now. The staff are always attentive, strive to do their best to ensure a pleasant stay and truly do treat you like family.The main reason we continue to return to this resort is due to the genuine kind nature off all the staff. This was a pleasant surprise and a great way to start the vacation! Shortly after bringing the luggage to our room we noticed that our safe did not work. Daniel overheard me mentioning this to the front desk and had a maintenance person to the room and the safe fixed in less then 10 minuets!! Although we have always had a great vacation at this hotel, it is an added bonus to now have Daniel's expertise and some new ideas introduced to enhance our vacation experience in the future. As always, Addys the Public Relations Manager went above and beyond to ensure a great vacation and always makes a point of being Friendly, approachable and visible at the hotel. She is a great resource for anything you may need during your stay. Our room in the Tropical section was clean and well kept. We had hot water all week without any issues and the AC was cold when it was needed. We also had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. The buffet had a good selection to choose from and all the wait staff did an awesome job in making sure we had everything needed. We look forward to visiting Hotel Ancon again in the next few months!

Hotel Rancho Luna: Lower your expectations and you will have a nice time.

This hotel is suffering from the lack of everything in Cuba. Rooms: Moldy bathrooms because the bathroom's fan don't work. Towels were change everyday and they were bright and white. The maid did a great job every day. The linen needs serious updates. Food: IT was pretty much the same every day with no flavour. They need to hire more people during the peak times (New Year). Nobody was attending the buffet and ensuring to replenishing the food. Bar: Lack of creativity with the drinks. Any hote [... read more]l worker was behind the bar to serve the drinks. I saw security people serving drinks without knowing what they were serving. They need to buy glasses and coffee cups to serve the drinks and coffees. Nobody can enjoy a coffee in a plastic cup. So, bring your cup from Canada. Entertainment: Really poor with no creativity. They were doing the same thing/show every night: a single guy singing by himself. No karaoke, no time to dance. I am glad we were in a group so we were entertaining ourselves. In the two weeks period we were there, we enjoyed one dancing show with talented dancers and singers. Also, they did a funny game night to select Mr. Rancho Luna. Staff: this is the best asset of the hotel. They are nice but they are not always on top of the services. They spend too much time looking at their phones. The bus to the city everyday is a great bonus.

Club Amigo Ancon: under construction

This hotel is under construction, we had days without running water, never had hot water, the hotel did not have money to exchange 4 out of 7 days, there was only 1 of the 3 restaurants open the entire time due to cleaning? We had dietary restrictions and the one restaurant would not accommodate us so we could only eat very few options in the buffet. Club Amigo Ancon: Amazing Hidden Gem in Cuba

I just spent Christmas there with my lady The staff were amazing The hotel was awesome Lots of room to roam Safe and fun The beach was great walk for miles Trinidad was so much fun and close for only $8 CUC Tons of restaurants I will definitely be back again I have all over the island and this was my favourite Great food, great drinks, great people What else could you ask for Thank you Club Amigo Ancon Dave xo

Hotel Rancho Luna: Excellent Value for money

Everything about the hotel is good. This is the third visit to the hotel in the last 5 years. They must be doing something right to attract me to the hotel. The food is good and plentiful. Rooms are clean, lots of hot water for baths. The only unfortunate thing that happened was the flight was delayed by 6 hours. We reached the Hotel at midnight. Hotel Rancho Luna: Sunsational resort

The entire resort was exceptionaly clean. Even the beach was cleaned daily.The buffet was very well stocked with excellent variety,As always the staff were very polite . Cant wait to return again in March.

Hotel Rancho Luna: Simple, relaxing place

The resort is small and simple I recommend banking services where credit cards are accepted . No banks close to area . Servers should pay more attention to guest that are tipping rather then locals being rude and pushy... Overall good place for the price .
