Flamingo Las Vegas: Mostly positive experience

The second night in Vegas my husband's wallet was stolen somewhere between our hotel elevator and a nearby restaurant. At first the lady at the front desk was helpful telling us we could use our room phone at no charge to cancel our credit and debit cards, etc. When I was having some trouble and went back to the desk for more help she became very rude like I'd already used my allotment of support and now she was just annoyed by us. The next morning when I went back to the front desk to ensure we [... read more] weren't charged for the calls, another incredibly rude lady informed me that i was charged and there was nothing that could be done about it. She was instantly rude the second I walked up to the desk despite not having met me before or knowing why I was coming to talk to her. I was directed to talk to billing so I phoned them and they directed me back to the front desk. I managed to locate a manager who ended up being very kind and helpful. He was empathetic about out situation and removed all the phone charges from our bill. Lesson learned, don't bother talking to the front desk for help, go straight to management. Apart from the front desk the hotel was great. Very clean, really nice cleaning staff, nice rooms, beautiful pool and nice atmosphere. Great location as well on the older side of the strip.

Flamingo Las Vegas: awesome trip

it was very clean and uplifting while being there. felt like home. very friendly workers. recieved alot of help from staff from all restaurants and floor of casino. met many different people from all over the world. it was fun going to visit different places . We enjoyed going to meet rick from pawn stars and hells kitchen for a meal. we also enjoy the two cirque de soleil. we spent time at the sphrere and we also enjoyed time at the hockey game and vegas even won woohoo.

Mirage: Not the Trip We Had Planned

It is March Break here in BC, so my sister, friend and I booked a trip to Las Vegas to enjoy some sun, good weather, and a resort pool. When we arrived, the pool was closed. The security guard at the pool kept telling everyone it was going to open in a day or two since they were just checking the water. We found out, after asking the concierge, that the pool is not open year round anymore because of new owners and that the pool will open some time in April. The three of us had specifically booke [... read more]d a trip to Las Vegas for the heat and sun, and we booked this hotel for its beautiful pool. For future March breaks, I will be looking at different destinations or at other Las Vegas hotels or resorts with operating pools.

The Linq Hotel: Not Impressed

There were not enough washrooms in the casino in fact it was closer to go to the washroom in the next door casino than it was in the Linq. kept having problems with room keys they charged an Extra $500 at check in and i am still trying to find out what it was for

The Grove: 1st & last visit!

Poorly maintained! Soap dispensers, lamp shades and multiple pieces of furniture broken. Limited body towels, no dish towels, two forks and a single cup available. Black mould throughout. Not ideal :(

Coco Key Hotel & Water Park: Air Canada Customers - BEWARE!

Our flight arrived a couple of hours late into Orlando. After a very long evening, arriving at the hotel in the middle of night (about 4 am, the one thing we were looking forward to was our booked bed to crash on. Unfortunately, that was the last possible thing we could get! As I approached the check in area, I told the man my name and he said, you didn't show up so we gave your room away. We are all full and there are no rooms for you. I explained that we were booked for last night and our [... read more] flight was late and, all the rest of the details of our flight from Toronto and he said you didn't call. (Of course, I didn't call, I was on an airplane trying to get here and my room was paid, ready to use when I arrived or so I naiveely thought!) We have no room for you. You will have to come back after 11 am. to try and get a room. Thankfully, we had rented a car so we had a place to nap until sun up! What a difficult start to our 3 day get away! Upon returning to the front desk for a second attempt later in the morning, I explained a little about the situation and the first thing the lady said was oh, you were a No Show. Again, I was shocked by the lack of customer service or concern for what had happened to us. Needless to say, there was still no room for us. Excellent hot, hot tub with a waterfall too.....certainly not worth the extra $40 per day resort fees though!

Excalibur: Nice resort

Good staff, good access to strip, slots need to pay out more ...Decent shopping on site. Rooms were average size, but need to have fridge in every room. Didn't do any shows on site, but was told they were good.

Paris Las Vegas: Flavours of France

We really enjoyed staying at Paris hotel, and casino. The amazing Eiffel tower decor, and the quaint French restaurants created a terrific ambiance. The pool deck was also spectacular. Service was good throughout all restaurants and poolside. The one very negative aspect was the hotel bed. Neither my husband nor I could sleep on it. We asked to have a foldaway cot brought in because the bed caused my back and legs so much pain. Apparently, other people have been complaining about the beds at thi [... read more]s hotel as well. Hopefully with patrons letting the hotel staff know about the issue, better beds will be put in place. We would love to go back again, as long as sleeping situations are resolved.

Golden Nugget: Large decent rooms, Carson tower needs updating

Hotel is very good overall. Staff was excellent. I was hoping to stay longer since my plane was at 8:30 pm. They said I could only stay an extra hour for $29.I left something in my room. At 4:00 my room wasn’t made yet. I could have rented it for longer. Disappointed.

Westgate Town Center Resort and Spa: Didnt live up to the hype

The resort does not offer shuttles to the parks, unlike all the other resorts. The resort fee is charged and then many activities require extra $. Smores were $4 as an example, again well travelled and never had to pay extra for so many of the activities and amenties. Room was dated. Washing machine wrecked our clothes. We tried to wash in 2 seperate laundry rooms and none were spinning or drying, staff informed but made it obvious they werent concerned. Also be aware some of resort is cashless  [... read more]but then several areas only accept cash??? Makes it confusing and as Canadians are cards didnt work at their cash registers so remember your id. Pools were nice. Restaurants were available.

Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino: Awesome thank you

Amazing hotel will return again like staying there nice staff and accomadating!! Bed are really comfortable after a long day and flight.. nice rooms!!! Hotel parking is close and walking distance close to the mono rail also!! Always a pleasure staying at this resort

Golden Nugget: Dated unit

Cleanliness, poor - gritty dust on furniture, had to wipe down furniture, found receipt under powder table from previous occupant, dresser drawers would not stay closed once clothes were placed in them and toilet ran continuously if you did not jiggle lever. Resort area was kept clean and restaurants were very good.

Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista: Great hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week. We enjoyed it very much. Very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful pool and amazingly nice staff. For my husband and son that are 6 feet tall, the shower head was very low and inconvenient. For us shorter people, we had no issues! It is situated 5 minutes walk from Disney Springs. This was very convenient for dinner. The only negative is the bus system to the parks. They are scheduled only 1 hour apart. For example, if you leave the park at 10:35 and the bus was [... read more] for 10:30, you will have to wait 1 hour for the next bus at 11:30. After a long day at the parks this is a long wait. The bus system forgot us at Animal Kingdom one night and we waited over an hour and a half to get to the hotel. This should never happen. Kids were going crazy as they are all extremely tired. There was about 10 families just waiting not knowing when we will get to go to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel as everything else was great but the bus system needs to be rechecked,

New York New York: New York New York Las Vegas

Had a great vacation, the hotel was clean, nice staff, easy access to food and drinks with a mad apple amazing fun show. Room was good size clean and comfortable bed but didn’t like the carpet, no fridge and no water pressure in the shower.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach: Amazing stay

We had such a good time at this hotel, this is a village as you can tell by the name so it’s full of shops and restaurant around the hotel and the atmosphere is very inviting. Staff are great, beds are super comfortable. The beach is beautiful and the location is perfect. The only downside is that the rooms are a little outdated, but in this case I didn’t mind at all as everything else was perfect.

Caesars Palace: Beautiful, Outstanding Resort....Octavius Tower

Very impressed with Caesar Palace....Its the best resort in Las Vegas. However, Caesar Palace does have its flaws. The prices in this hotel are very high, so its hard to dine, to shop or to enjoy this hotel to its max. This hotel is very exciting, very inviting, very comfortable. The room at Octavius Tower is fine, except for some minor repairs needed. Also, the room does not have a microwave or a hair dryer. It does have a coffee maker, but no products to make the coffee. One main  [... read more]complaint, is the fridge...The notice on the wall about the fridge is hidden behind the chocolates, the waters, the wines. Guests might not be aware of its policy on the fridge. Apparently, this fridge should be out of reach to every guest, unless, the guest is purchasing the products in the fridge. Because of all these products in the fridge, there is no space for the guests to place their own food, own purchases. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS FRIDGE FOR YOUR OWN PURPOSE....YOU WILL BE CHARGED. Unfortunately, we did not know of this policy while we were there, and we were charged...The cost was high, close to $85 plus if caught...The hotel has its own microchip camera and they videotape everything, if the guest opens this fridge. I would say, this is not proper and the guests can be caught in this situation easily. Of course, another issue is the Resort Fee per day in Las Vegas. Since the Resort Fee is on almost all of the huge and well known resorts in Las Vegas, there is not much, we can do about this. Lets hope this fee does not keep going up...its too high, already. These are our main concerns while visiting Las Vegas, 2024. Times have changed since the Good Old Days when everything was affordable. Now, even though, the Resorts in Las Vegas are still very Amazing and Fantastic, they are no longer accessible to Everyone, as before.

Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista: Great pool and great sleep!

First of all the beds are fantastic! So comfortable and the pillows are great too. Four pillows in every bed with a mix of firm and soft. So often hotel pillows can be like rocks-not here. They were so nice and soft yet full. The pool is the star of the resort. It feels like a hot tub and is the perfect way to soothe tired feel after a long day at the theme parks! There are also two hot tubs! This was my second stay and it won’t be my last!

New York New York: Nice hotel and casino

We stayed at new york new york it was nice. Its not a fancy one more relaxed vibe. Rooms are very clean. Impressed with security as well to show your key too. American restaurant is great for breakfast very reasonable priced for Vegas on the strip. Watch out for the time share people within the casino they get annoying bugging you to go attend a 2 hour event in order to get free tickets for a show.

Paris Las Vegas: Wonderful Stay!

We arrived at 11pm, there was a small line up at front desk, so we went to a kiosk and checking took us 10 mins. Our Burgandy Room Eiffel Tour View was clean, with towels, shampoo, conditioner, face soap and hair dryer. Didn't touch the snacks on the desk(very expensive) Our queen beds were super comfortable and had a nice duvet and 3 pillows on each bed. Room temp was great and very quickly adjustable..we like it cooler at night. Windows are dirty, such a shame as we had a beautiful view of th [... read more]e eiffel tower and Bellagio fountain from the 24th floor. We saw housekeeping daily, and on day 2 she quickly replaced our towels and took our garbage, left more soap. We told her not to bother making the beds. Elevators were quick. Check out from the TV was efficient. Yes the room is old and dated, but clean. Great value for what we paid. We were very happy with our stay.

Bellagio: Wonderful hotel

The Bellagio is top notch! You can’t go wrong, luxurious and clean - I loved every minute! You should also book with Susan Snider, she was THE MOST attentive, helpful agent I have ever worked with, I will most certainly book with her again!
