Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful Resort

Rooms were very modern, contemporary and clean. The cleaning staff were awesome, in fact all staff were 'on it' ... in the restaurants, at the front desk, bars, drink carts/bartenders at the pools, etc. A very well kept resort. The food was excellent and if you went to dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 you were not in line since reservations are not needed. The buffet was also a great option. The only thing  [... read more]I didn't like was that you could not go into the ocean (red flags always) which is the 'norm' for this location with the waters being too rough (but I was told that before going). The view is stunning of the 'arch' mountain range but you do need to actually take a water taxi (or tour boat) to see the actual 'hole'. We didn't do any excursions because they were very expensive. The package price is also very expensive but I could see why with the 'high end' area and all the work the staff does. All in all, a great trip and would highly recommend.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort

Great people and staff, food and service was excellent, big resort but designed perfectly were everything is within 5 minutes walking distance, beautiful beach and water slides for kids and adults. Entertainment shows we’re fantastic for whole family. Weather was just perfect

Dreams Los Cabos: Save Your Money Folks!

We chose Dreams because we stayed at another property and had a great experience. We paid for the Preferred Club although we definitely did not feel preferred at all!! Overall experience was average, so save your money folks! Pool towels and chairs are reserved all day; there is a policy to remove unattended items after 30 minutes, but it was not enforced. Food at the a la carte restaurants was good, but there was a 2 hr wait if you were not first in line at 6pm. Entertainment was okay, but they [... read more] start it at 6pm and 830 so you have to decide eat or entertainment; also need a few other options - there's a live band, nightly show, karaoke; could do a trivia night or newlywed game. Some staff went above and beyond - Juanito at Oceana restaurant, Gabino at Seaside Grill, Lily at Preferred Club beach bar, and Noel from room service.

Riu Palace Baja California: Excellent choice

This IS A 5 * Hotel!! I like RIU chain but Palace Baja California in Cabo is truly amazing!!! adults only choice! The service on every level is exceptional! I’m a definitely a supporter of this RIU location. Everyone did amazing work making sure our vacation is enjoyable and relaxing, We miss you guys already. Riu Santa Fe: Great family vacation

Had read reviews before going that this resort is incredibly well maintained and I couldn't agree more. The staff work so hard to keep the grounds clean. Very impressed. The resort is beautiful and large enough to get a good amount of steps in for the day. Balances out all the food & drinks. I never waited for any drinks. Drinks, overall, were lacking. Quite sweet and not particularly tasty, but not any worse than I expected. The bar staff are friendly and very quick to get everyone served expeditiously. Was easy to get in to the a la carte restaurants. The Asian restaurant was one disappointment. Food was really bad here. Otherwise I give the food a 7/10. Breakfast is great. A great selection of vegetables and fruit with each meal. Would have loved some variety in the lunch/dinner however. After a week we were pretty bored with the food. Steak restaurant for dinner - a bit of a disaster. For good steak, the restaurant Kulinarium was a great option. We came here twice, and probably would have gone more, if we had tried it prior to our 2nd to last day. Great service, good food. Rooms were good. Clean. No mold or humidity like in some South destinations. A very well stocked fridge was much appreciated. We were a bit nervous with our room being in the 9th building right outside of the party pool where the themed parties were held. Given that we were travelling with a teenager we were worried that it would be too loud with loud music & rowdy party goers. The rooms, surprisingly, block a reasonable amount of the sound & parties ended at reasonable hours that our sleep was not interrupted. A very happy surprise. Location was great. The beach is gorgeous and LARGE. Downside is water isn't super swimmable, but we knew that when booking & weren't expecting it to be. Can walk for 20-30 minutes to either side of the beach for some exercise. The hotel was about a 30 min walk (very safe!) to the marina of Los Cabos. Highly recommend the walk into town. Overall, great trip. Would recommend. For the price, it's about what you'd expect, or better.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Terrible Resort!

Worst resort I have ever stayed at! The service was terrible!! The staff barely acknowledged you when you went to get a drink or something to eat at the pool bar! Theft was a major problem from your room! I had my Beats ear buds stolen from my room. The only people in my room were me and the maid. Happened 2nd day I was there. The hotel front desk told me I signed a form that made them non liable and that I was required to put everything electronic, jewelry etc.. in the safe… my safe didn’t work [... read more] and my laptop wouldn’t fit. The remote for my blind didn’t work.. I reported that 3 times… it never was fixed so I had sheer blinds across my sliding door so I was woken just after 6 am! This hotel is dreadful!!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Fantastic Resort- especially for kids

We had the best trip to Hyatt Ziva. This resort had unbelievable food options, and many restaurants had a kids menu which was so appreciated. The pools were beautiful and very clean. The service was stellar. Can’t wait to go back.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Very nice

Our stay was very nice. We enjoyed all of it. The room was nice and the grounds were beautiful. The activities crew were very friendly. Entertainment was fun. Food was good. The alcoholic drinks could have been a little stronger.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Lovely resort.

Nice, small resort. Not crowded. Great location. Food excellent. Staff very pleasant. Very few children so was quiet. Great views from beach and view of marina from resort. Room was dated but comfortable.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very nice resort

Very nice hotel, the food was good, the buffet had a great selection, the pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and the staff came around regularly to offer fresh towels in exchange for your wet ones. There is a mirror image of the pool area, one side had all the activities and the other side was calmer. Even though the ocean was rough, you could walk along the beach which can actually bring you right into town. We had sun every day, but the evenings did get a bit cooler, which was fine, you [... read more] just need a light jacket, so I guess it depends what time of the season you go to Los Cabo.

Riu Santa Fe: Well kept resort

The resort is very well maintained. The staff work hard to keep it clean. The food was very good for the most part. We didn’t know it was American spring break and the resort got very loud and busy. The young adults woke us every night with their partying until all hours of the night and into next morning. Called security and they hung up on us several times. We complained to the front desk. Finally got moved to the Baja California, four sleepless nights in. Very nice resort but don’t go [... read more] at spring break if you have kids or want any peace and quiet.

Riu Santa Fe: 4 star all the way!

Comes as advertised. Super clean. Plenty of food choices for even the picky eaters. It would be nice if my kids weren't offered drugs every time they walk towards the beach. Kind of annoying to have the human seagulls just sitting there waiting for you.

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos: Amazing

We just got back from spending 10 days at Peuerto Bonito Blanco. What an amazing resort. I can't say enough about the friendly efficient and helpful staff. Location is ideal and food and drinks were great. The only thing that may have been added was more onsite entertainment. Thank you for a great vacation.

Riu Santa Fe: Run, don't walk to this resort!!!!

Outstanding resort, excellent service, lovely staff, beautiful appointed rooms and really delicious food choices. Loved that we didn't have to book al a Carte restaurants, never felt rushed. We were the " grey haired people" and had a blast. Only down side is the noise at night when partiers return to rooms. Lots of echos in the hallway. Would return in a heartbeat.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: So disappointed!

This hotel is under new management since my last time there 4 years ago. One restaurant was doing renovations and not all of the others were open each night for dinner. The shower head in my bathroom had to be replaced after my first shower. They took out half the loungers around all the pools and still they were understaffed so guests often had to go to the bar to get a drink. My last trip included fun Carnival dancing and music during the day and more in the evening, but this time, nothing for [... read more] Carnival, just the Superbowl on a big screen. They no longer have the Spanish classes that I enjoyed. My coffee cup on the last morning had a big chip on the rim and I have a photo to prove it!

Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful but loud

This Riu was one of the nicest, well kept hotels we have ever stayed at. Clean, great restaurants, nice beach, great amenities. The downside is it was very loud almost everywhere on the resort. The pools were close together with competing music at almost all times, and the entertainment staff was a bit much. 4 days a week they hold a rave style party which is impossible to escape on the resort and most likely the neighbouring resorts as well. It was a bit much. And of course after parties like t [... read more]hat people are not going to be quiet in the hallways or outside your rooms. If you are looking to party this is the place to go. If you want to relax and rest maybe try another Cabo resort. Cabo was a wonderful destination though and I would consider returning for sure which isn’t something we tend to do. Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: A picturesque getaway

We chose this hotel for its charm and location and because it is a small(ish) resort. The grounds are meticulously kept. The views are fantastic. It was wonderful to be able to watch the whales breach from our balcony. Food was good, drinks were wet, loved being able to go for a walk into town daytime or evening. The service was excellent. The cupcake cafe is a definite highlight for the delicious cappuccinos and lattes and treats.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Awesome service!

From the get go top notch service at breakfast,lunch or dinner. Wait staff was phenomenal. Facility was impeccably clean and our room had a spectacular view. Highly recommend! Food at buffet and a la carte was very good to excellent. We will use the Riu brand again.

Royal Solaris: Great hotel

The staff and service was great .i have travelled all over Mexico and it’s the Mexican people that always make me happy which carries over in there work to name a few Lily,Elisa and Janeth in the lobby bar…….Johnathon the breakfast waiter (exceptional service) Ramon the pool waiter and Alejo in the Marco Polo restaurant
