CHFI & Trip Central picked out a great location for our free trip. Hotel was beautiful, service was excellent, food was superb. Surf was a little too choppy to actually go swimming but the beach was superb for relaxing and walking for miles.

The Resort was SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!

They need to come up with a method for keeping food hot, food at the buffets was usually luke warm/cold. Tacos at the Mexican Restaurant were awful...go figure? The staff was AMAZING!!!! We would definitely go back.

Awesome Resort

This was an amazing resort. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The food was fresh and tasty. The resort was beautifully decorated and kept clean. I would go back in a heart beat.

Beautiful Resort

The grounds, rooms very clean. Great service and the they were always cleaning. The French restaurant was ok, they gave you only a tablespoon of mashed potatoes that were spread around on the plate. They were very good but not enough

Better than expected

All aspects were great. The French restaurant was exceptional. The staff was very attentive to our needs for everything. We loved the long secluded beach and had fun in the surf. Being able to enjoy this resort that is just 1 year old was a real treat!

Amazing

beautiful beach, amazing resort, clean spacious rooms. Lots of entertainment and restaurants. Amazing pool with a beach look out. Has something for every age. Can't wait to go back with my entire family.

No need to leave the resort.

We stayed for one week (during one of the busiest weeks of the year) and it did not feel crowded. Food was excellent. The only challenge (which is not unique to this resort) is trying to get a chair by the pool in a desired location as some people get up early and reserve them wit a towel or book and the chairs sit unused for half the day.

Very good resort for families

Property is clean and well maintained; food is good; kids area is excellent; beach is wonderful; only complaint - dinner reservations at the restaurants are difficult - hard to get and yet the restaurants are empty (very curious??). They need big theme nights for dinners that are open to all - and more outdoor dining would be good. Overall - excellent.

Excellent all-inclusive resort!

The customer service here was top-notch. Every staff member that we interacted with was great and made us feel like they were truly there to make our stay carefree and fun. Bed was comfy, a/c was just right, oceanview room overlooking the golf course on the left side of the resort (third floor) was lovely and private. Food was overall great, except the steaks. We ordered rib-eye and not only were they two different steaks entirely, but so tough we honestly couldn't eat them. Two other tables nea [... read more]rby ordered steaks and had to send them back. We were there from Dec. 01 - 08, and the weather was perfect every day. The surf was perfect also. Massage on the beach to the left of the resort - walk along the gorgeous beach (very clean), - only $35 US for 60 mins and it was truly the BEST massage I've every had. Didn't try the spa at the resort, but of course prices at the resort spa were considerably higher. Overall, we were very happy with our time spent here.

Spectacular Resort

We stayed at Iberostar Hotel and Resorts in Puerto Vallarta Dec 4th through to Dec 11th and really enjoyed ourselves. The resort was very new and was very well kept up! Staff were very friendly and always there to assist you with anything we needed. We were questioned by staff several times during our stay whether our stay and our room was meeting our expectations and they were open to any suggestions for making anything better.

A five star resort in every way!

My daughter booked the Iberostar Playa Mita to celebrate my 70th birthday. The personal service we received daily was truly appreciated. As well, the many activities offered, found us on the go whenever we decided to participate. The layout of the compound was especially appreciated; ocean frontage, immaculate grounds and centrally located pools. Accommodations were superb. The resort was five star in every way!

Great resort

I visited the resort with my wife, at the beginning of December. We received good service throughout our stay and would consider visiting again. Our room was an ocean view room with a king size bed and a huge shower.House keeping did a great job, they came in twice a day to make up our room and fill the mini fridge! There were a lot of options for food and we really enjoyed eating at the Pacific Express restaurant!! There was a coffee shop on the resort which made the best cappuccino! My wife and I really liked walking on the beach !! There were lots of smooth colourful rocks and the ocean was warm and fairly calm!! Overall I could say that we had a great time at Iberostar!

Great Value

If your looking for a resort on property this is a great place to be If you want off resort activity's you might want to look else were As this property is located a long ways from any were With that being said this is a year old resort that is totally taken the mistakes of older resorts & done them right Rooms are great basic but great Staff as all mexico are fantastic ( as tips are appreciated there not expected ) The food was above standard The shows although the state of the art theater in m [... read more]y opinion sub standard Although I do not have kids it looks amazing for children I am not a big fan of screaming kids but in all honesty even though they were plenty full they were not an issue . The property is amazing as is all the infrastructure . I have been to Mexico 20 or so times and was pleasantly surprised by this resort I would put it in the top 5 of all the resorts I have stayed (3.5 stars to 5 stars ) If you want to stay in your resort do not miss out on this one It is differently top shelf

Beautiful resort

Beautiful grounds, good food, great staff. Take a boogie board to enjoy the ocean . The beach is long and beautiful with very attentive staff making sure you have a palapa. Everything is nice and clean. We really enjoyed Glennis, geovanni, Claudia and hervey. They all went the extra mile to make our vacation great.

Amazing !!!

Amazing resort right from the time you check in. We upgraded our room to ocean front - was worth every cent. The facility is beautiful and the views amazing. everything was very clean - rooms and facility. As far as food - our culinary experience was exceptional - buffets and the al a cartes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A good resort

Overall it is a very good resort. The bad points are the pool is not heated,the food is just average plus. Warm rooms at night. Good points A great location. Some may argue because of the distance from Puerto Vallarta but that's what we wanted. Great location to go and explore the neighboring communities.Excellent staff. Morning walks on an empty beach.Good spa. Comfortable rooms.

Brand new resort with amazing view and staff

Everything was amazing. Food was great quality and staff all around the resort was superb. Lots of choices of restaurants. And decor I was going to steal cuz it was so cool. Not packed the week we went which was nice. Bit far away from town but it was fine with us. Taxi was expensive to the next town 15 mins away. Staff were excellent bringing drinks to the pool and beach. Recommend the bar at the beach and the burger and fries It was more money that we wanted to spend but so worth it.
