Grand Palladium Colonial: Fabulous Time at the Grand Palladium Colonial

We just got back from 7 days at the Grand Palladium and had a wonderful time. Keep in mind that this 5 star review is for what I would expect of a hotel in Mexico - it is not a 5 star Vegas Hotel but is very enjoyable. Loved the grounds, which were beautiful and immaculate, and the shows in the evening were really well done. Having the wrist bands - that also worked as your door key - great idea. If you have chosen to spend a week here - a couple of things that might help make your trip as good as ours: 1. If you really care about updated rooms - consider staying at White Sands or one of the newer hotels - our room was still fine but showed some ware. 2. I recommend bringing a floaty of some kind - the Colonial pool is 5 feet deep - that doesn't sound deep but I would have had to tread water the entire time I was in the pool (as many people did) and that just isn't relaxing. Lots of people love the depth of the water - for swimming and jumping in but it isn't for everyone. Also, brink something to float your drinks on from the pool bar back to your chair. Really hard to hold drinks up and swim. :) 3. Bring your insulated cups - it is hot and drinks get warm really quickly. Also the bartenders will make your drink in your cup for you. Yum.

The hotel was stunning our room was beautiful view breathtaking sunsets unbelievable food was delicious everyone at the hotel very helpful 100percent recommend this resort . My husband and i would definitely return

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Absolutely amazing resort!!

Considering I had run out of options for my last minute vacation, and didn’t know much about Grand Palladium, I was extremely happy when I arrived. This could be my new favourite resort, and area to travel too. The grounds, staff, food, and location are top notch! I watched humpback whales right from the beach, and enjoyed every meal. The beach was beautiful, with powdery white sand, and the ocean was a gorgeous azure colour, with the backdrop of mountains, that I didn’t expect. I have to add th [... read more]at the staff, especially the Concerirge made my stay, as comfortable as I could have asked for, especially being solo. With some health issues, They went above and beyond, to make sure I had everything I needed. Julian in particular was always there, for anything I needed, and deserves a huge special thank you ? I had one major issue on the second last day, which was quite upsetting, but the Concerirge handled it immediately, All and all, I would recommend this resort to everyone, and anyone, and I’m planning on coming back again, in the future! Grand Palladium Palace: Palladium 2024

Overall, we enjoyed our week at the resort. The room was excellent except for the design of the shower/bathtub. The bath was difficult to enter/exit and the shower tended to leak all over the floor unless you were extremely careful. The service at pools and restaurants was very good too. Food quality was OK but sometimes not very hot a buffets. We tried unsuccessfully to obtain VIP bracelets which we had enjoyed during our previous visits in 2019 and 2020. VIP status would have given us access to at least one restaurant that we had used before. All of this has been communicated in a survey requested by Palladium.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing resort

This resort is a 10 star in my book From the service to the food and the location was perfect.. If you want to be treated like royalty this is the place, our room was beautiful and cleaned daily… My fiancé and l just had the best vacation of our lives, the couples massage was awesome and every single place including the buffet had amazing food and service we are planning to go again soon. Miss Lou’s coffee is a must overall this place is great

Grand Palladium Palace: Terrific Hotel, Beautiful Grounds, Beautiful Beach

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful beach, excellent food. Would definitely return for another holiday and recommend this property to others. A la carts were all very good. Only issue is the jetted tub/shower combination in the Deluxe, King Room can be a little tricky to get in and out of for anyone with mobility issues.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Grand palladium Colonial

We booked through Trip Central, flew with Westjet and had a semi private transfer from Cancun Airport... The GP resort is amazing built among the mangroves, giving it a wonderful ambiance of nature. Lots of wildlife, from the flamingos greetings every morning, the shy agouti and the adventures of the coutimondi. Our room was dated, however it was kept spotless by our attend Angeles. We never had to reserve a lounge or a palapa at the White Sands pool or on the beach. We also enjoyed the watersports, kayaking and peddle boats, it was often " red flag" due to high winds, the beach however had very little seaweed and was totally walkable. Did I mention how great the staff was...this is one resort we would definitely return to.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Paradise!

Rooms are spacious, but need to be updated on the Lady Hamilton side. Pools are breathtaking. Sunset Cove beach is beautiful. Drinks are good. Most staff are friendly. I did have an issue with staff in Miss Lou’s bar, but nothing major. Food is good, no issue getting reservations if you go to the concierge. Spa was nice and peaceful, a lovely place to spend the day. Best breakfast place is Blue Lagoon. My second time at this resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great Resort with everything you want to in a holiday (large)

Resort was very large , but had shuttles to get around . Lots of pool choices and restaurants . The buffet choices had a large selection of Foods , fruit , salads , deserts ect . Staff were friendly but found some were slow to serve you and catered to Spanish speaking . The shows were excellent especially CHIC . We found some parts of the resort a little old and outdated especially had issues with shower leaking over tub onto floor . Overall we were pleased with our holiday and stay . Grand Palladium Palace: Lovely Resort

This is a resort that has three hotels. We stayed at the Palladium Palace. There are shuttles that can take you to other hotels and that was so convenient. The rooms are very nice and clean. The food at the buffets was very good. The grounds are very well kept and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had one power outage which lasted about an hour. The Italian a la carte and the Steakhouse were both very good. All in all, a very great vacation and I would recommend it.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great Resort for families

On arrival, we were approached for a presentation (selling tactics) to get a membership to be part of their premium package. I spent a lot of time with them but when I asked them how much would the membership be, she said nothing and then said we pay only when we'd use the program to make reservations, and since my husband wasn't with me to make a decision, I left. For me, you pay for a membership (monthly payments). It was a loss of my precious vacation time. The grounds were pretty much clean [... read more] except for the beach weeds still on the beaches, left there or in bags, and after being there all day, full sun or not, the smell of those rotten weeds was pretty bad. I was there for two weeks so right after high winds and high waves, debris of weeds accumulated and it was not a pretty picture. Please clean and pick up the weeds in their bags left for days. Other than that, it was OK. Pools were cleaned every day which I appreciated a lot. The entertainment was great! The bathrooms and dining areas were overall pretty clean. The personnel are pleasant enough throughout the resort. The cleaning of the rooms was done whenever, with no schedule, from morning to dinner time. It's a good thing that we didn't mind too much but I still think that I should mention it. Our grown-up kids and grandchildren had a blast as there was always something to do at the resort. Thank you for having us, taking care of us, and feeding us. :)

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great resort

Love the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. This hotel is great for both adults and children. We enjoyed all the a la carte restaurants (especially the Indian) and would highly recommend this resort. Our only complaint would be our room was too close to the entertainment so we had loud music until 1:00. Next time we will ask to be far away from this -- but we would like to return.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great resort

This resort was awesome. Grounds food and staff were all 5 star. A few minor issues in room made them maybe a 4 star. Pretty hard to beat Punta Cana beach. Transat experience could definitely be better but at least if didn’t affect us once on resort. Entertainment was fun and diverse. Use palladium hotel group app to its potential. Let us know where and when to be.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: A BIG HIGH FIVE ? and ?

Been at the Palladium 5 times over a 15 year period and again we will give it ?????????? stars. The grounds and beach are tropical and spotless, ocean is colourful. The selection of food/deserts is through the stratosphere, we’re not kidding. Kinda crazy but our diet is plant base and there is no shortage of choice for us. Grilled steak, chicken, pork, seafood with fresh bread/buns or hamburgers, hotdogs and pizza, this place is just crazy with what it offers. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Grandiose resort

Well maintained 16 yr old building with all the amenities. I believe it is the 2nd largest resort in Jamaica. Picture shows the adult pool which has access to a rather little private beach where we came across a friendly barracuda. No end of other beach or pools. The 1,000 units are spread over the vast area and so the shuttle buses respond immediately to your beck and call if you need them. It is a 45 min ride from the airport but the traffic can add a 1/2 hr at times. Only complaint, the TV could not stream NetFlix or others and the Stingray audio did not come through. Much of the accommodations are 3 storey and we enjoyed our quiet and clean one.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Perfect family vacation

Let’s start off with the check in . We are a group of 10 . We had requested a room with double beds for my son and his friend I even sent an email . Once we arrived they informed us that they did not have a double bed room till 3 days into our vacation. We were a bit upset but the boys weee okay with it. The boys went to their room and we went to ours . Once we opened our door we noticed we had 2 double beds. So we switched. Resort is clean . I don’t understand as the resort is massive and should be able to accommodate groups. Other than that . We will be booking for 14 days next year . The cabana girl by the name of Christine was the most amazing and beautiful person we met . She went beyond her role to make our cabana experience even better than we had planned. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Don’t expect to get into any of the Al A Carte restaurants.

When booking our trip we were told we weren’t able to book any of the Al A Carte restaurants prior to our check in. Immediately after checking in I headed to the concierge to book our dinners for our 6 night stay. I was told there were no reservations available for the whole week, also that you could only book 2 days in advance and would have to line up at 8am in order to do so. The following day I tried again with a different staff member. I was lucky enough to get 3 reservations booked for the [... read more] last 3 nights of our stay. Anytime we walked by any of the restaurants ( excluding the buffets) they were empty with maybe 1/4 of their restaurant occupied. One evening we were at one of the restaurants and a family showed up for their reservation and were turned away being told they were there on the wrong day. The full hour we were there there were only 4 tables occupied. Many other guests that we had spoken to during our stay had the same if not worse experience with not be able to get any reservations. When a resort states their many options of Al A Carte restaurants at their “all inclusive” resort this is unacceptable. We tried to make the best of our trip and ventured out of the resort to Playa Del Carmen for a change up in food. What saddened us is this resort is beautiful, the beach is beautiful. This is an ongoing issue from what I’ve read and heard from other guests. We love The Mayan Riviera and will be back but sadly not to this resort.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Terrible service, terrible rooms, don't waste your time and money

Unless you wave wads of cash around, don't expect any service from anyone. Also, never go here expecting a good room, or if you have a toddler or younger. Our room had a glass door leading to the bathroom, and another glass sliding door next to the bed, that led to the shower. That leaked water into the main area everytime someone showered, which meant that we had to put a towel on the floor next to the bed. The room's phone didn't work because its battery had leaked and destroyed the contact [... read more]s. Rather than replace it, some random guy took the phone from the adjoining room and swapped it. From then on, any number we called thought that we were calling from that room, and we had to correct them every time. Also some lights didn't work, and the asking for cleaning, didn't mean that we got fresh towels, so we had to make another call just for that. Unlimited drinks is a joke, because the bartender will literally ignore you most of the time, or say that they don't make drink x or y, or just give a drink with nothing but ice in it. The app doesn't work to reserve restaurants (something even the staff told us) and you will need to find the one desk in the resort where they can help reserve for you. But then again, the restaurants don't provide good food or service, so you might as well just go to the buffets. General theme: Terrible service unless you pre-tip the right people or wave around a wad of USD to get someone's attention.

TRS Turquesa: Overall, Disappointing.

The room was tired and in need of a re-fresh. The curtains around the bed were mildewed on arrival and we had to ask for them to be removed and cleaned. Turndown service was only provided on one night of our stay. The music and entertainment in all of the venues was too loud - even when just playing music you could not carry on a conversation in Helios. The food was average at best, and repetitive across all of their outlets. The massages were not worth the money and not provided by st [... read more]aff with appropriate training. We had a couples massage and it was clear that my masseur was playing follow the leader with the colleague who was massaging my husband. All in all, we paid a premium for this stay, and it was not worth it. I am certain there must be much better options for the price.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great resort

Had everything our family of four generations (toddlers to seniors) needed such as kiddie pools, beaches, etc and lounge chairs were never a problem. Getting a beach towel or returning it was not an easy process so had to lug it back to the room until the next day. Clean and well maintained grounds and buildings and best of all the food was very good with plenty of selections.
