Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Happy fun times at Memories Flamenco.

Well located resort, within 15 minutes of the airport. The staff were awesome. The facilities are a bit older, but they get the job done. Food was plentiful if not very varied. Beach was great, but I would recommend water shoes, as a lot of coral and shells build up one the edge.

Memories Jibacoa: Absolutely amazing

I just returned from a fantastic and rejuvenating getaway at Memories Jibacoa. This resort checked off everything I wanted for my solo trip. The location is absolutely picture-perfect — a stunning, clean beach framed by beautiful mountain views. The coral reef right off the shore is incredible for snorkeling! The rooms are clean and well-maintained with everything you need. Some may find them a bit dated, but I found them comfortable and perfectly adequate. I felt completely safe during my stay and met so many lovely people from all over the world — a great mix of ages, mostly 30+. This resort has such a warm, welcoming vibe. I would definitely return to this hidden gem — it’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy authentic Cuban hospitality!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Clean and beautiful but lacking entertainment

Eight of us returned September 19th from a week of the Sanctuary Grand Memories in Hoguin. The hotel is beautiful. Staff were amazing. The rooms were lovely and came equipped with a safe, storage for your clothes, a balcony and very comfortable beds. The food is OK, but was really lacking in fruit and vegetables. If you have a flight, leaving later from the resort, the prestige plan allows you to check out at 3 PM which would’ve been a nice bonus. We did one excursion on a catamaran for a lobster dinner and sunset cruise for $65. This was a great trip. Others said they really enjoyed the Jeep trip but the snorkelling trip wasn’t great. There was very little entertainment in the evening. There were no theatre style shows. They did have a karaoke night and a dance competition night. I don’t even know if we met an entertainment staff member when we were there. The beach was beautiful and lots of beach chairs and shade available. The water was warm and clear other than when it was stormy. There are a few jellyfish and sea urchins in the rocky areas. We met some amazing people and made some fantastic memories.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: I wish i did not pick it

Very disappointed in this hotel. I understand cheap price, but still, lots of issues that don’t take much money to fix. Dirty bedsheets, not changed towels for the whole week, luck of entertainment, stolen flip flops, dirty room, old building.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Grand Memories Cato Santa Maria

Hotel it's self is run down and rooms need to be upgraded.The grants are maintained on a daily bases.Public bathrooms need to be stock with toilet paper and soap on a daily bases. Food need to be keep hot and have a variety to choose from

Memories Cayo Largo: Lovely resort.

I was at here at end of Sept with relatives. Had a great time. The beach was gorgeous and the water amazing. Not my first time in Cuba. This was my first time to Cayo Largo. No problems with the food. Not alot of fresh fruit or veggies. Had amazing omelets every morning. They did have an exceptional baker, we had fresh bread and desserts every day. Yummy. Loved the bungalows. Plenty of room and a well working a/c unit. Bathroom was dated but servicable. Got water every day. I am glad it did n [... read more]ot rain while I was there (no umbrella in my room). I was in bungalow 20, so I was pretty close to everything. Also resort was not full. That makes a big difference. All the people at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Renaldo at the buffet.

Memories Jibacoa: Amazing place to snorkel and play tennis

Food was excellent entertainment was great staff is amazing thanks Alberto the tennis coach and use Eddy Garcia for classic car tours of Havana and bay of pigs and Vinales. Special thanks to Michael at the buffet and Jennifer Raymer of together for Cuba as we brought medical supplies to Cuba through missiongo missions

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great beach

The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are big and clean. The food was always there nothing that was really awesome, but always something to eat. The resort is a nice size for walking, your are never more then 5 minutes from anything. The beach goes for miles and the water was so clear and warm.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Grand Memory Santa Maria

.Very poor service from waiters in the restaurant, always expecting tips. Very poor preparation of rooms for living - ventilation and plumbing don't work, lots of breakdowns upon move-in.Service is not well.

Sanctuary Cayo Largo: Love this resort

I love it here, but it is not for everyone.The bungalows are amazing.Staff is excellent and very friendly.Pool and food is great.You have to take the bus to the beach, which is okay but sometimes difficult to get back.The main problem is No flights from Toronto, so for me 8.5 hrs drive to Montreal.I want to go back but the drive !

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin: Relaxing and memorable

The staff were amazing. I really appreciated getting to know them and how willing they were to do anything to help us or meet our needs. The butlers are to be commended as well. Yumior and Yennel were super but l appreciated all of them. The hotel is unique in many ways and we enjoyed the beach, the bites restaurant for breakfast and lunch was a nice change but the selections buffet also was good. I enjoyed the lovely people there. The hotel was clean and well kept. The gardeners work hard because everywhere you look it’s so nice!!! My favorite place to eat was Bites. Although l still enjoyed all of the options. The staff was by far unforgettable.

The pools were beautiful and clean. But the beach was a little rough but I still enjoyed it. So were the grounds. The food was lacking flavour at times but still we had choices. Breakfast was especially great but Woujd have been better if we had more fruit choices. The service was exceptional. My butler Daniel was very helpful and the rest of the staff always tried to please us. The restaurant staff were amazing, friendly, warm, kind and most helpful.

Well well lets talk, I have been to Cuba over the years about 40 times and yes I have seen the ups and down of this country. This resort I would say is a solid 7 with always room for improvement The pools and beach are beautiful and clean with great views. There were lots of beach lough chairs in great shape in both locations. The problems that I seem to see is the workers and management lack of common sense. Some examples in the Sanctuary lobby doors opening into the buffet area the workers st [... read more]arted sand the edges of the door on their hinges rather removing these doors and removing them outside, so as they sanded the paint and dust where flying all over the buffet and into the kitchen over the food. Later at supper one of the cooks came over to the trays of food and stated to spray insect repellant over himself and the food. The open buffet was a fly magnet with no control it's like they have given up on this problem. As you can tell by me the food hygiene could be a lot better.IE common sense! If I had to pick to save time I would go to Cayo Coco same beach better airplane times. No 2 hour bus ride both ways. Now did I get my moneys worth, yes I did for what I paid.

Memories Jibacoa: Relaxing

This was my second time at this older, smaller type resort (about 30 years old) that has been kept in pretty good shape. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped with a decent TV and fridge. The room was nicely cleaned and the fridge stocked with water daily. The beds were quite comfortable with fairly new foam mattresses. I found the pool to be very clean. It is shallow, so no diving. The lobby, buffet and all other facilities were also to my liking. The Ranchero (table service) at lunch was also more than adequate in variety and quality. I found the staff to be very friendly and warm. Regarding the beach. It was beautiful and great for snorkeling as there are many reefs with vibrant fish near the beach. However, it is on the rocky side. Not at all like the soft, powdery white sand of Varadero. So take some water shoes. I had a very relaxing time overall. That's what I was looking for.

Had the most wonderful week at Memories Jibacoa. Our flight on Westjet was seamless; we were greeted with warm Cuban hospitality at the resort and were treated like gold. Good food and drinks, fun entertainment and the beautiful beach...who could ask for anything better!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Fantastic Resort

As this is my 1st time going to Grand Memories resort, I had a fantastic time, the rooms were very clean and maintained. The beaches was amazing and clean, the salt water was was so nurturing. All the staff was very friendly and made each day of my stay fantastic, they had a smile on their faces each day. The food was ok, there was many options either you can go to buffets or to gourmet lunch and dinner. Trust ill be going back

Grand Memories Santa Maria: 5 stars hotel in Cuba

Thanks for everything,every staff service is good or they tried best to satisfy with guests in the hotel group(we want quiet room ,they change two rooms with quiet and beautiful view second day).the location is in paradise on earth,the food is perfect,the garden is scenic,the weather is beautiful warm,the beath is excellent,the room is good as there is in Cuba. Grand Memories Holguin: Grand Memories Holguin

Grand Memories is a beautiful new hotel (less than 5 years old). It is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern. The beach, pools and hotel are exceptional. The food is good for Cuba/ they have added pizza ovens and several more hot stations. Our butler Orlando was polite, professional and on top of his guests needs/requests. There use to be a disco at route 66 now the resort directs you off the r [... read more]esort to a disco at the market across the road which guests declined as no one wanted to leave the resort. (discos should be on the resort). They close the game room and games bar at 10pm!!! We had to finish up our game as they were closing the doors - a games bar! The hotel would also benefit from some type of music (local talent) in the lobby while people are having drinks. if the entertainment was stepped up this would be the number one place in Holguin!

the resort itself was nice friendly staff good food and drinks but need shad around the pools as there is none and by the bites restaurant there is a slippery spot that they need to fix ..my last day was going to the restaurant and i slipped on the walk way landed on my back and bruised back of my head badly ..they need to either put signs up u need to wear shoes here or repave with concrete ..i am still having headaches.
