Pullman Cayo Coco

The Hotel was AMAZING, excellent entertainment. Food was average. Staff very professional and friendly. Our first time there. Definitely recommended! Beaches are beautiful in cayo coco. Did some day trips to Pillar beach, as we were told it’s the most beautiful beach in Cayo Coco Cuba.

Great resort

Just got back from The Pullman on Feb 17. The food was very good, the beachfront and staff were great and the entertainment was excellent. There was a great variety of live bands in the Lobby bar and by the Pool in the evenings. The shows in the Theatre were very professional.

Beautiful resort with very friendly helpful staff

The pictures on the Pullman website reflect how beautiful the resort is. The 4 pools are centrally located and very clean. The entertainment team at the pool were great fun. Had games for adults and children and an aqua fit program each noon. The reception area is very large with a glorious view of the ocean. Staff were helpful as we needed to change rooms as my friend and I have bad backs and needed to be placed on a lower floor. There were plenty of beach chairs and a bar at each end that serviced drinks and food.Rooms were large, clean and had all the essentials (i.e.shampoo,body wash,soap, body lotion, tooth brushes and shower caps) Food was fine with breakfast being my favorite meals. Loved the fruit smoothies each morning. Fresh fish everyday. The Chirros( thin donuts) served at a hut on the way to the beach were to die for.. Weather was great and I loved every moment . Amazing Vacation Spot!

This resort is spotless. Staff is constantly cleaning the bathrooms, grounds, everything. Maids do an amazing job in the rooms, we loved Judy. Check-in/check-out was easy and extremely quick. Reception was very accommodating to arrange a late check-out. Our group was able to keep one room an extra 4 hours at $10 cuc per hour. Food was impressive for Cuba. Omelettes, crepes, and French toast were our go to for breakfast. 24 hour snack bar had the best fries and burgers, this was our go to  [... read more]for lunch and late night snack. Supper at the buffet was great, everyone in our group were completely satisfied. A la cartes were good; Cuban was the favourite. Japanese was disappointing, the chef wasn’t as jovial as we are accustomed to, but food was good. The French restaurant was amazing. We paid the extra $10 cuc to dine at the Gourmet restaurant, it was well worth it. The Churros (fried dough pastries) that were served throughout the day were a big hit with our group. We would have 2 or 3 servings a day. The bartender at the snack bar, Jorge, was great. He always made us laugh, was friendly with everyone and spoke very good English. Nightly entertainment was great. We enjoyed 4 nights out of 6 at the theatre. The other shows were a beach party and an aquatic show. We would have preferred all nightly shows be in the theatre. We were very impressed with the amount of chairs there were at the beach and pools, never a need to reserve seating. The amount of pools, bars, and restaurants are great. There is never much of a line up for anything. One of the draws to this resort was how close it was to the airport. 10 to 15 minute bus ride was great. The resort is very well laid out. It is very close to everything. We have been to Cuba a few times, the Pullman is our favourite. Our group likes to try new resorts, new places/countries each year. This is the first time our group has decided to return to a resort for a second time. We stayed in a garden view room, in the regular side. We didn’t feel there was any need to upgrade to the collection side. I rate this resort at a 5, without hesitation.

Pullman Cayo Coco Cuba

Pullman CayoCoco is by far the best resort in Cayo Coco Cuba. From the size to pools, food and staff, simply the best. Out of all our trips to Cuba this one stands out the most. Highly recommended and I’m sure you will not be disappointed with this resort A+++

Needs Work

Our stay at the Pullman resort was okay but they need to fix the infrastructure. The building we stayed at either had no water pressure or pressure was low and no hot water. The facade was either damaged or not repaired properly after the hurricane damaged it and is still evident. The pool had alot of tiles missing and possibly cause injuries and the underwater flood lights were falling out of their housing. The food was typical for Cuba although one night there were not enough clean plates in  [... read more]the buffet. Most mornings had to wait a long time for a server to come by for water or coffee.

Average

Mmm. Ok, food is average. Italian tho was awful. Snack bar and beach bar are understaffed and frequently run out of stuff ( like beer??!!) Main dining room was messy and difficult to find a clean table. Couches in lobby looked modern and white till I got up close and saw how dirty they are. Staff were generally nice and appreciated tips Would I return ? This happened to us once. Really a lot of stuff that should not happen at a “4star” resort.

Pullman Cayo Coco review

The grounds were all dried up and sparse. Enjoyed the Cuban restaurant and the Japenese restaurant. Buffet food became a vicious repeat every day, very few foods were different on a daily basis and my eggs were always undercooked (but I ate them anyway in the essence of time). Cappucino machine in the buffet has been broken for 2 months, therefore you either went to the outdoor bar for a cappucino or the coffee bar in the lobby. Rooms were very clean, view from the room was fantastic, most staff were very friendly (exception was the coffee bar staff, who were run off their feet). Lack of water in the bathroom, water pressure was not always great, and ran out of hot water frequently (if there was any at all). Pools weren't heated, so got very little enjoyment out of them, spent most of my time on the beautiful beach. Beach was great, no complaints. Loved the churros kiosk by the pool everyday. No issues with exchanging beach towels except for 1 day out of 7 when they ran out of clean towels. In my opinion, the beach made up for most shortcomings of the resort.

Beautiful beaches

So,so good

We got back from Pullman on Jan .28 where we spend the very best holiday ever. We have no complains, we had hot water and pressure all the time, although some people in other part of the resort experienced problems. Food in Main Buffet was so,so good. Our room was always cleaned to perfection. If we could complain about anything it would be the staff behind the bar in Main Lobby they were not very friendly at all, so we stoped tipping. Fantastic trip!

We had an amazing trip here at the Pullman! By far the best resort I have been to! The staff are amazing - kind and fun, very efficient and helpful. The food was actually good, especially the a la cartes. Even the buffet was better than what I’ve had in Cuba before. Good options, even for a vegetarian. Definitely worth waiting in line for the omelettes in the morning and the pasta station for dinner. The rooms were clean (I didn’t see a single bug in my room). And of course the beach is incredible, that goes without saying! The pools were nice and clean, but did get very busy so it helps to have someone in your group willing to go save some seats early! All in all, I had a great trip here and don’t really have anything bad to say about this resort.

Great beach, but borderline starved

One of the nicest beaches I've ever been to. Airport close. Great staff. The food was awful though. We struggled to find things to eat and were quite ill half way through the weak. Strong drinks though lol

Great times

Hotel was great... especially the Lobby where people congregate to socialize and to hear the great live music ... and the view of the ocean when you arrive ... WOW! the room was comfortable , hot water plentiful, no complaints . The beach is gorgeous - only complaint is that they should invest in tables ! snack-bar was where we ate every lunch and it was always yummy. Beautiful Resort !

Pullman Resort is a very clean resort. The rooms are cleaned very well daily..the grounds , washrooms, lobby , buffet and bar areas are very well cared for. It's a very safe resort for families with young children and awesome entertainment for them as well. The evening shows were very entertaining. A very friendly resort with excellent service !

Family vacation

The Pullman Cayo Coco was superb. The staff was extremely pleasant....very accommodating. The pools were a bit on the cool side, but possibly because it was so windy. All in all I would highly recommend this resort!!!

Beautiful Property!

Stayed 7 nights in early January 2020. The rooms are modern and housekeeping did a great job to maintain a clean and tidy atmosphere during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and also well maintained. We were able to eat at all 4 a la carte restaurants which was a nice treat to get away from the buffet those nights. I was warned about the food choices in cuba being very limited and bland but that wasn’t the case here...the food was much better than I was expecting. Overall we had a great [... read more] stay and were always treated well by the staff and locals, I would definitely return to this resort and recommend it to anyone looking for top shelf accommodations in Cuba.

Very nice resort away from all the commotion.

Considering the hotel went thru a hurricane 2 years ago they have done a good job getting it re-opened. Enjoyed the food with good variety. Enjoyed the nightly shows and the service was beyond expectation. Hopefully within a year the resort will be back to where it was before all the damage.

Another great week!

This is the second year in a row that we’ve visited the Pullman over New Year’s. We had such a good time last year, we had to do it again. The best things about the resort are the staff, the beach, and the fact that they really know how to throw a New Year’s party. The buffet is pretty decent, and the a la carte restaurants are very good, especially the French and Italian restaurants. The airport is very close, which means you don’t spend an inordinate amount of time commuting to and fro [... read more]m at each end of your stay. The rooms are nice enough, nothing fancy, but comfortable. The one negative is the wifi, if that matters. It is expensive, slow, and unreliable. That said, we’d go back again!

Good resort but service needs improvement

The hotel is great and restaurants are better than expected! Only problem is the staff and the expectation for tips. If you don't leave tips at every request, expect a subpar service that is not 5 stars.
