Barcelo Maya Colonial: Awesome trip!

The hotel was perfect for the 5 adults and three children. Amazing from start to finish. Highly recommended for families! The only downfall is that the resort is 50 mins from the airport. This didn't bother us but it might not be for everyone.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Great Time, Nice Hotel

The Tropical is part of a larger, 5 hotel resort, 4 of which are open to guests. The Palace is not open to guest who are not staying at the a Palace. We have been to the Tropical many times and always enjoyed it. This time was very crowded (end of June, kids out of school), and I would avoid this week, if possible. A few weeks earlier had a much lower occupancy rate. It is extremely hot and humid at this time of year, although the AC worked great. Food was good, staff was wonderful.

Grand Sunset Princess: Awesome

The hotel and all the services they offer in our opinion are first class , Clean , variety and quality of food 10/10 Beach very nice to many roks for my liking This is our 10 times going to this resort .

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing trip @ amazing resort

Our second visit to Sian Ka'An. Booked with trip central (Sandy Nichols)- great experience - very knowledgeable and pleasant lady to deal with. The resort is beautiful; what make it GREAT is the Sian Ka'An buffet- outstanding food. We have traveling to Mexico for the last 11 years- twice per year- and this was the best buffet ever. We have booked 6 A la Carte- but ended up only using three restaurants- Alux & Maiko (both outstanding) - then we cancelled the rest since the buffer was "to die for" [... read more]! Friday night is the "Gala Buffet " & Saturday night is "Seafood "- every meal at the buffet was absolutely delicious! We used the buffet for breakfast...lunch...and dinner and all the time it was simply GREAT! The beach is big enoug and clean. Drinks are ALL premiums. Transportation between Sian Ka'An and the beach - and to the other three sister resorts- are flawless. This is the ONLY resort where we went back in 11 years. If the price is right-we will return with no hesitation.... Make sure you check the infinity pool at Akumal. Beautiful! Overall- outstanding experience and will be back again.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Not for us 👎

The grounds are very nature like, but unfortunately there is no air flow which made it extremely hot and at night the mosquitoes where insane! Lots of sea urchins in the ocean so no swimming there! My brother got one in his thumb and another relative got one in each foot and his hand as well! The pools were very cloudy. The resort is very dated. There was apparently some bed bugs luckily far from our rooms. It was very cool to see the monkeys and cotes etc. Some people loved it just wasn't what  [... read more]we like. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A fabulous getaway

This hotel was absolutely stunning. I enjoyed every moment of my vacation. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely warm, inviting and friendly. I particularly appreciated the efforts of the 'animation' or entertainment team; they definitely made this a memorable trip. The resort is fairly large, so there are trolleys to transport you around (I really enjoyed these). There are many different areas to explore between the beaches and the pools.

Allegro Cozumel: 3 families in Cozumel

The hotel is very nice. The gardens are incredibely well Maintained. The rooms are nice and up to date. One of the best beach in Cozumel. Near all activities. As for the area for improvement, we were a group of 21 and 7 persons were sick. There are birds eating the food in the buffet and the staff does nothing. Bad choice of music in the buffet in the morning. Should be more relax. The food for lunch is always the same.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Getaway

Hotel rooms are very nice and spacious. Hotel grounds are well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Very nice resort! Hotel is not right on the beach but there frequent shuttles to the beach and multiple nice pools. Snack bar open 24/7. Wifi was hard to connect and very spotty. Italian a la carte was disappointing.

Ocean Maya Royale: Great time at Ocean Maya Royale

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week at then end of June, 2017. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was kept very clean , the food was very good, and the staff that we encountered were friendly and accomodating. We really liked the smaller size of this resort, everything was within walking distance. I can only comment on 3 of the restaurants as we enjoyed them so didn't feel a need to try the Blue Moon or La Dolce Vita restaurant. El Charro (Mexican) was very good, a smaller menu but we [... read more] actually ate there 3 times. The Japanese restaurant was good but it's really more about the show there than it is the food. We really enjoyed the buffet (La Hacienda ), lots of variety and a different theme each night. The Brazilian night was very good , as was the Mexican . We loved Mike's Coffee shop, wonderful latte's and snacks . Wish it opened earlier but there are cappuccinos etc. Available all the time in the lobby bar . Entertainment that we saw was enjoyable but we only saw one evening show and the entertainment at the pool during to day. The entertaiment staff try very hard to engage guest and keep them busy with pool activities, painting t-shirts, dance lessons, Spanish lessons, sushi making etc. My husband participated in the paella making and had a really good time . All in all we really enjoyed our week at this resort and would definetly go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: relaxing vacation

Great place to spend your vacation. We liked the service of the hotel staff a lot. They paid attention to the little details. There was triple occupancy in our room[ two adults and a child ] and our son was using the sofa bed in our room. The sofa bed was totally made for him every day, with fresh sheets, pillows etc and they even left him a pair of child slippers and a gown. There was free wifi in the lobby and the room. The buffet restaurant was well stocked . Everything was just right. The  [... read more]only suggestion that we had was that in the buffet restaurant the vegetarian section should be separate. This will save the vegetarian people from going all around the area and looking for the vegetarian food, which is not marked properly a lot of times. Also people tend to mix serving spoons a lot of times and meat ends up in the vege food. They should use separate cooking stations for the vegetarian food and not use same utensils, fryers, oils, etc for the vege food as they are for the meat.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing

The bed rooms are clean and tidy. The location is perfect. The food is yummy. Ilke the duck in the Asian night. I wish I can have that dish again. I liked the seafood in the seafood restaurant. The lobster and the fish are very delicious. I also like the Japanese restaurant. They are very yummy. I will definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Very nice resort

The resort was beautiful, beach and ocean wonderful, Japanese restaurant was the best......breakfasts were wonderful, every thing at the buffet was very good, Drinks were good, the weather was great what more could you ask for,,,,We loved it but do refer a smaller resort as in walking around from areas, but had a great time at the wedding it was a wonderful set up on the beach and beautifully decorated room for the wedding, food was great,,,over all would highly recommend it...Karen Brisbois

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Resort

Great Resort, clean grounds, clean rooms, great food. Beach could use a makeover but overall great experience. The walkways were rough, moisture from all the previous week's rain had raised the stones which was a hazard for everyone walking but they were always working on fixing them. Resteraunts were good not great but buffet was always good and consistent.

El Dorado Royale: Simply the best!!!!

We just returned from our 14th ....yes 14th stay at the El Dorado Royale. We have been to other resorts on the Maya Riviera,but found EDR to be the BEST! Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort: Exceeded our expectations

This hotel/resort is amazing! Friendly staff, beautiful clean grounds. Rooms were modern and all ocean view. Beds were comfier than home. Chairs on balcony were also very comfortable. Poolside and beach drink/food service was excellent. Food was great. The chefs at the a la cartes were top notch and you could tell that they took pride in the food they created. My only real complaint about this hotel is that it is advertised as a non-smoking resort when in fact it is not. The rooms are all [... read more] supposed to be but there were still people smoking on their balconies. The beach and pools areas as well were filled with smokers. I guess I was naive to think that a totally non-smoking resort existed. Other than that everything was excellent.

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Amazing Catalonia Playa Maroma

We just recently came back from our vacation for a week in this beautiful resort. Group of 6 arrived on June 17 to June 24. We we’re stunned with the pristine beauty of the beach. It was wide and long stretch of powdery sand. We’ve travelled every year to Caribbean and we always say that Cuba has the best beach elsewhere. But now we’re torn between Catalona Maroma beach resort and Cuba’s beach. Everyone was happy and satisfied with the rooms and services. The weather that week was on & off rain and sunshine, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the pool and the resort’s services and amenities. It would have been a perfect weather if the beach was calmer. We cannot swim because of the rough waves but we don’t see any sea weeds at all even in the shore. There’s a machine every morning cleaning the shore. The resort was very well maintained and clean. We love it! The food has so many varieties and taste great! Alcohol is not watered down. You can always ask to make it stronger. They used the branded booze. Our suggestion is to probably open up a 24 hours snack bar and livelier band before the shows for those people hanging around in the lobby after dinner. Overall, we really love and enjoyed our stay in this resort. We will go back again in the next few years.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Loved this resort!

We are getting married here in December and it was with a little apprehension that we went there 6 months in advance to scope the resort out. Couldn't be happy with the choice. The people, the food, the rooms, the location, the gardens, the wedding planner..everything was fantastic. I know my wedding here will (hopefully) go without a hitch!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: A week in paradise

This is an amazing resort, if your looking for relaxation, quiet time then this is the place to go. The food is amazing, the service is above all, the pools are great. This was our 2nd time at this resort and if never fails. What are you waiting for book at the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal now you won't be disappointed!!

Park Royal Beach Huatulco: gorgeous landscaping

This hotel was very clean and I enjoyed the trolley to take you around and to the beach. Loved the big waves at the beach for swimming. Only downside was had to switch rooms due to lrg air conditioners off side of first balcony room- super loud and unsightly.Second room had great view but in all honesty looking at roofs of other buildings wasn't great so I focused on the ocean and palm trees and hills of the mountains. The foods was really good except the pizza at the 7th floor restauraunt was a joke and it was the only meal I got sick from. The cheese and toppings had basically been placed on top of a pre-made boring crap crust. Otherwise, all the other meals were great. I wish I was back there now, I truly enjoyed the whole trip encluding a visit to La Crucecita and to Chdruyi for ice cream and shopping for hot sauces etc. Also, at the beach restaurant, having two kinds of music is annoying, but the food and friendly servers made up for that. I would kill for some authentic chips and green salsa right now. Entertainment was fun but not great.
