Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

Right from when you are greeted to your departure, the entire staff have your happyness and comfort on their minds. We ate at all restaurant's except The Caribbean. The service and food were great, especially the Italian. The grounds and pool areas were kept very clean and and nice. What a great beach. We walked the beaches every day and without a doubt ours was the nicest. We paid more in order to have The Diamond Club experiance. I would deffinately recommend this for everyone. All the staff were very happy and helpful, especiall Rene. Funny and helpful. Makes your stay very relaxing.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: 5* Luxury

We went to Riviera Maya April 15 - 22, 2018. We stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. Carol from Trip Central suggested this resort as we were undecided where to go. She said clients had just returned from there and they loved it. We were 2 couples traveling together. It was the higher end of our budget but we LOVED every little thing. It is only 5 years old. Didn't have to worry about beach towels and they always had lots! Bed was comfy and lots of pillows! Although the beach had seaweed it was still amazing...we spent most of our days at the beach and in the water. The food was delicious! We would definitely return. And definitely try other Royalton Resorts! This resort exceeded our expectations,

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful St. Lucia

The resort is immaculate and the grounds are clean, maintained and so tropical. The staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Food was amazing - both quality and presentation. Only ate at the buffet for breakfast twice. Had all other meals al a carte. Not sure if it was when we travelled (April 14-21) but reservations were not required at any al a carte restaurant for dinner except the Japanese. We never had an issue getting into any restaurant. Lots  [... read more]of options for lunch - Buffet, Italian, food truck and for Hideaway guests the beach bar served food and the Dorado was open. Not a big or long beach but you can snorkel by the breakwall. Lots of chairs on the beach and by the pools. Several towel bars on the resort to grab your towels and it is possible to have more than one per person. Coffee bar on the terrace offers a selection of sweets, coffees, hard and soft ice cream. Smallest of issues - if you enjoy a glass of wine and the bartender needs to open a bottle of wine there seems to be a shortage of cork screws - not all of the bars have one. If you are particular about the type of glass you drink out of your wine could be served in anything. The martini bar needs to practice their martini making. My husband had a martini served in a high ball glass-not quite the same. Overall a great experience and we would return to this resort.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Clean rooms

We had a one bedroom suite with oversized jacuzzi. Big clean room with big rooftop terrace and huge jacuzzi really a small pool. Restaurants pretty good, buffet alright. Good service everywhere. Food truck by main pool excellent for lunch. The cafe for coffee and gelato was excellent. Facilities clean and well maintained. Beach has a lot of seaweed. Difficult sunwing flight delays on both flights. Really good resort though.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Great resort!

Resort and grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. The beach is amazing, soft sand, no rocks or coral when entering the crystal clear water. Staff were very friendly, great service all around. Our luxury room was great, cleaned and restocked daily with turndown service in the evening. Fresh bath towels and face cloths every day but only had hand towels twice during our week stay. Food was good, buffet was as good as the restaurants. No reservations required for restaurants (except for  [... read more]the Zen), so you may have to wait a bit for a table, they give you a pager and send you to the Martini bar. Drinks were great. Overall wonderful experience and would definitely return!

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Overall very nice resort

Great service; staff is very friendly and helpful. Resort itself is beautiful and well maintained and kept clean. Dining options are not great - food is very bland but that's expected, and although the restaurants requiring reservations are better than the buffet, it can be difficult to get a reservation (2/5 days we were unable to get one at any). WiFi is not free; you have to pay 1 peso for access for 1 hour, and access is only given in certain areas/locations (for e.g. there was no wifi signa [... read more]l or access available in our room). Demographic of guests is majority seniors and older couples.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Beautiful, Modern Resort

Upon arriving at the hotel, just stepping off the bus, we were greeted with a warm, fresh, towel to clean our hands.This was a lovely touch after a long day of travel. Reception staff were very professional, efficient and friendly, highlighting the main features of the hotel. Hotel lobby is amazing! 24 hour coffee bar was excellent. Rooms are exactly as shown on the web site (beautiful, modern, clean). We had an awesome ocean view, nice balcony. Food was very good; we tried a couple of the rest [... read more]aurants but liked the variety of the buffet restaurant for dinner. We stayed for 10 nights and could easily have stayed for a few more days. The only minor complaint is that there was loud music blaring until the wee hours of the morning. I think it was coming from a neighbouring hotel so really not within their control. Also, there were lots of fresh beach towels available all day long - I read a complaint about this when I was booking so it seems this issue has been resolved.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: A gem of a resort

awesome resort. Beautifully laid out. The staff is amazing and will go out of thier way to please. The food is fresh and delicious with a local and Jamaican flair, we especially liked The steakhouse. Nice sized portions. The pools are amazing, lots of bars and always something to see in the evenings. Don't forget to visit Columbian Emeralds where I won a beautiful piece made with larimar, valued at 2,700. We met so many people, I think my heart is still there.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great resort. Perfect for families!

This resort was amazing. From the staff, to the service, food, grounds and entertainment, they had it all. This resort is perfect for families with kids of all ages - tons of things for the children to do. Only downfall, the rooms are a bit small. Definitely recommend!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Well worth it!

You can’t beat the powder beach sand and warm, turquoise water. The resort was excellent. The staff were amazing and the accommodations were good. It’s Cuba so a degree of latitude must be given. The food was good overall and better than we expected given all that we read about Cuban resort cuisine. I have no hesitation recommending Royalton Cayo Santa Maria. Also, Tripcentral was excellent in booking our trip from start to finish.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Food and Service

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Check-in was smooth and very welcoming. Our room was beautiful, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The Hideaway pool and Hideaway Beach Bar staff were so friendly and went over and above with their great service. Room service was an excellent option for us. I will recommend to pre-order room service the night before as you can book for a specific delivery time; orders can take up to an hour for delivery if not pre-ordered. The food is delightful. [... read more] The staff took the opportunity to impress us when we had a complaint. The ATMs had been removed from the hotel prior to our arrival. We wanted some cash on hand for tips but there was no way to get cash without ATMs around. After asking a few times about ATMs, and realizing that the replacement ATMs wouldn’t be delivered any time soon, the staff helped us by letting us use a local ATM designated for the staff use. This solved our issue as we then had cash to hold us over until the ATMs were put back in service. Note: guest ATMs dispense USD and you can break into smaller bills at the hotel front desk. The food was very impressive. Delicious, exciting, and served with a smile. We especially enjoyed the Hunter Steakhouse. There is typically a waiting list to get a table so check-in to the restaurant early, request a table, and then enjoy a drink and entertainment until you get called for your table. This seemed to be an issue for some guests but I think the no-reservation rule is the best way to go - guests all have a fair chance to enjoy the food at each restaurant - It’s WELL worth the wait! Overall this hotel was everything we hoped for and more. With a beautiful beach, plenty of pools, entertainment, shows, games, and so much food, there’s definitely something for everyone. We will be back to this hotel soon!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Family Resort

The Grounds, Rooms and service were excellent. Something for everyone. They have a better gym than GoodLife. Restaurants were excellent and we have travelled to Bermuda, Turks and Cuba. The Beach is the only downside- not clear water.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Great resort!

The resort was very clean, the food was good and most of the staff were great to deal with. The beach and pools are beautiful and all of the facilities are top notch. Personally didn't like the various class systems they have. ie. Royalton, Diamond club, Hideaway and Memories. They are trying to capture too broad a market. We felt bad for the Memories guests that were expected to walk down a pathway at Royalton to access the beach and not stop or use the facilities along the way. We heard  [... read more]complaints from a few of them. The Hideaway area didn't gel with the theme of a family resort. An 18+ resort should be a separate resort. Perhaps a quiet/adult only pool area would make more sense. We were going to upgrade to the Diamond club but were told it had been oversold and wasn't worth the extra money unless we planned on drinking an extreme amount of high end alcohol. Didn't like having only the one draft beer choice. Would like more options including some canned/bottled beer options. The other tropical types of drinks (pina coladas, daiquiris etc.) were from concentrate and not very good quality. Straight mixed drinks were a better choice. We have 3 children and they enjoyed the splash park at Memories. We also visited the Royalton Bavaro located down the beach. It is brand new and even nicer than the Royalton PC. The kids loved the lazy river and surfing machine. We would stay there next time but would also stay back to RPC if Bavaro not available.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Big resort

The resort is big and modern, secluded from the others. Rooms were nice and food was delicious. We found the resort understaffed, it had long waits for dinner, not all A la Cartes had waiting buzzers. Frustrating. Beach had nice sand but ocean was full of weeds. They have signs posted everywhere that you cannot reserve your beach/pool chairs but the rule is broken, even by hotel staff paid on the side by customers. I would recommend it for families with kids, kid pool was awesome.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Nice resort

This resort is very modern, clean and big. The spa was beautiful and relaxing.The restaurants are all amazing. We did not have a bad meal the whole stay. The staff works relentlessly to serve you but seem to always be short staff at breakfast. Long wait times between coffees and juice. You could not make reservations for the a la carte restaurants. You have to show up and give your name. Most of the waits averaged 1.5 hours. For the Japanese restaurant you have to line up for three in the aftern [... read more]oon and wait your turn. Many people waited for an hour just to find out is was fully booked for that night. They have to return the next day and try again.The sand at the beach is white and soft but there was so much seaweed we could not swim. It was very windy and seaweed was washed up regularly. This resort is geared for families. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place. The grounds are amazing for kids. The water park is everything you would want for the little ones. One of the major drawbacks is the Royalton staff wanting to sell you timeshare. They tell you its not time share and they are relentless. The entertainment was really good. Live bands played in the afternoon at the pools and also in the evenings. My overall experience was still positive. I would not recommend it to people looking a more quiet adult like vacation but I would definitely recommend it to families with younger kids.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Hideaway at Royalton Negril is a 10 out of 10!

We were delighted with this resort. Staff was amazing, food great, the view fantastic. Weather cooperated too. We unhesitatingly recommend the Hideaway at Royalton Negril to anyone who wants a first-class vacation experience.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort

Beautiful resort with a large beautiful beach (but ugly ocean with lots of seaweed), beautiful pools, and friendly staff. In the past I have traveled south in the off season and noticed this time around that service is more hit and miss during peak season (we stayed march 19-26th) and there is more coveting of pool loungers and bali beds in the high season. The hotel has a no reserving policy for beach/pool chairs but do only enforce the rule sporadically (towels were removed by hotel staff at o [... read more]ur favorite pool only 1 of 7 days). This caused frustrations for everyone - those who had reserved chairs to find their stuff moved on only one day as well as those of us who would like to see the rules enforced.... Food is excellent here. I have visited this resort 3 times in the past 3 years and would happily come back again in the future.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: A great time

this is our third time at this resort. a kids friendly place with decent food. The waterpark at Memories is just great to keep the kids entertained and the pool has nice activities. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Diamond Club is recommended if you like to spend time at the beach as it has better sitting options and better quality drink choices. For pool only no need for Diamond club as it shares it with the rest of the resort.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Food!

My husband and I stayed at the Hideaway diamond club, it was a great experience. We had a reserved spot on the beach which was nice with constant drinks. The hideaway section had its own entertainment which was okay. The beach however had seaweed and wasnt as clean as I hoped. But I must say the food and spa were amazing experiences! So many resturants from italian to loboster! Amazing!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great Week with Family

Great resort with very good adult pools and kids pool. Daughter liked the water park slides and they even had a foam party for the kids. Food was very good, better than other all inclusive we have stayed at and all the staff in resort are well trained to help and look after your needs. Excellent little coffee shop in Entertainment area that doubles as an ice cream shop so parents and kids both can get a pick me up in the afternoon.
