The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing resort

Azul fives was a fantastic resort. The staff we all very helpful, doing whatever they can to make our stay amazing. The buffet and the food at the a la cart restaurants was amazing and the resort itself was very well kept and clean!

Occidental Tucancun: Great Food and Clean Resort

The grounds are perfect and the food was great. The only con would be the large size of the resort and lack of beach area. Walking from your room to the main lobby, waiting for the correct tolly to take you for dinner, disco or beach was just too time consuming for a holiday. You want to get away from lineups and enjoy your time.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Absolutely amazing!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the food was great! The pools were beautiful. The best thing about our trip was our server in our lobby lounge named Josephina. She was very efficient as well as a beautiful, kind person. She went above and beyond excellent service!! Truly the best server ever!!!

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Beautiful resort with excellent service!

The service was exceptional from the restaurants, bars to the entertainment team, the room was very clean. The grounds were very well maintained and the food and drinks were amazing. I enjoyed a very relaxing vacation and would certainly go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Anniversary trip!

The resort was clean, staff was for the most part friendly, there is always one or two. Freddie and Armondo at the main lobby bar provided outstanding service, best tequila shots ever! Weather was outstanding, only one day with a brief shower. We enjoyed our stay. The resort is huge, so make sure you are prepared for walking or taking the trolley.

Grand Riviera Princess: AMAZING VACATION

We go to Mexico ever year for 7 days and usually go to a different resort every year.It was our first time at this resort and we had booked for 10day and I am glad we did. we booked Platinum and wouldn't change a thing....AMAZING service everywhere especially Platinum lounge and Platinum beach...room was beautiful maid did a great job.grounds were keep very clean and they were BEAUTIFUL..Room service was good and quick...food was good....a lot of choices at the buffet....you can always find so [... read more]mething to eat...the breads and rolls were always fresh....i could go on and on...I will say for sure...WE WILL GO BACK loved the resort and no it is not too big...you get person touch with everything

Selection Riviera Cancun: Amazing food!!!

Fine dining every night if you like or casual if you want, brand name alcohol, staff were extremely pleasant, yoga on the beach with Jorge, Pilates, beach volleyball twice a day, 3 swim up bars, marble everywhere, extremely clean...loved every minute of it!! Definately a 5 star experience!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Mush needed holiday

The majority of the hotel on a whole was good, the food was excellent. The one complaint we have was some of the staff were less than nice. Some were down right rude, these were mainly the staff at the bars on the beach and some of the staff in the restaurants. There was one person on the breakfast station making fresh pabcakes, eggs etc. She could not do more than one service at a time and could not cook eggs at all. She was very nasty if you asked her to make an omelet of fried eggs which  [... read more]were eith over cooked or under cooked. I would highly recommend that she be taken off the station and be given a job that did not require people contact and cooking. On going problems with the tolets not flushing properly, we were offered a plunger but that was about it. The last day of our visit the maids just made our beds, no fresh towels, no clean glasses and they did not wipe or clean the room. Checking out was frustrating, we had purchased some items at the hotel store and we did not have money on us at the time, we were given an option to put this purchase on our hotel bill. When checking out they were not going to provide me with a bill for the purchases rather simply took my credit card, it was only after I asked twice that it was provided. Painful to watch this person get me my receipt she was extremely slow at providing this. I questioned the bill as there were three charges on the bill and I had purchased two items, she indicated the last charge was optional some sort of tip ( of course it's in Spanish so had no idea what it said). I asked her to remove the charge it was approximately $10.00 American so since we are Canadian it is much more. Wonder how many people actually just pay the bill and not look at this extra charge. I find this quite concerning since that store is part of the hotel. Although I would recommend this hotel I would warn the people of the extra charge should they have purchases on their room bill. Also would explain that the resort has some issues mainly with the pluming In the rooms and the bathrooms around the pool and beach area.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Fun resort for families!

We stayed at Sandos Caracol for a week as our good friends were getting married there. About 10 of us stayed in the Adults Only section of the resort as we were all looking forward to the quiet areas and the pool which we were told was quiet and not a party pool like the other pools in the general sections of the resort. We were very disappointed because after a couple of days into our vacation and throughout the week, there was a very large group of people who decided to turn the pool into a  [... read more]party pool with their own loud music, playing football and frisbee as well as beer pong and just getting very drunk and belligerent using foul language that could be heard everywhere in the pool and bar areas. Unfortunately many complaints to the resort fell on deaf ears and absolutely nothing was done about it. There was also the smell of raw sewage in several areas of the Adults Only section. Our room were very clean and comfortable. The service was nothing spectacular, very average, and as the week went on, the service became slower and slower. The staff in both restaurants and bars were very friendly. The food was average in most restaurants and can use lots of improvements. There was a very mangy, stray dog with fleas that hung around the resort especially in the Adults Only section and would walk and sit on the lounges which was not very appealing. The beach was a little disappointing and although we knew that coming down, we were happy to visit the sister resort, Playacar, at no cost and we were able to check out that resort too for perhaps a future trip. The wedding venue was absolutely spectacular! The food was amazing and along with the gorgeous wedding couple, we all had a wonderful time celebrating their special day with them!

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great resort

The hotel was spotless. The grounds were very well kept. Staff was very polite. The only negative thing that I would say it that the check-in process was not good. After a long day of travelling, we arrived to a line up to check in and it took over an hour to get through the line. In addition, our room was still not ready and it was after 3pm.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: 3 stars resort

Rooms :very old, no elevator, washroom has a smell all the time, small balcony ,no coffe maker. Ground:nature is amazing, Slides for kids- the best . Golf cars : some of them on gas it does not sound like Eco resort.Guests and golf cars has to share the road , it is not convenient all the time to stop and wait until it will passed by and the most important is safety for kids. There are ants in international restaurant ,and when we showed it to the personal the reaction was something like : "it's nothing". How You can eat when ants running on Your plate?They need pest control and quick! 24 hours restaurant: It is open area so creatures can get easily to the restaurant and that what they do. It is fun to watch this but not to eat there. Bars: drinks good

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Amazing Views

This hotel had good and bad features. We were upgraded to an ocean view suite when we arrived which was fantastic! The views were beautiful. The beach was nice, you totally needed beach shoes to get in but you could see fish 10 feet from the shore. No need to go on a snorkeling adventure if you didn't want to. The staff was very friendly. The dinners were not that great. I think they were trying to hard to be fancy at the expensive of portions and taste. The pizza restaurant was the best; good pizza, good pasta. Steak was bad and buffet next door was okay. Not a party hotel but really good for a restful vacation.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Love love loved it

Fantastic resort. Easy access to buses to get to downtown Puerto Vallarta or the Marina District. There's a mall right across the street if you need anything and the new La Isla Mall is a quick walk away. The staff were very friendly and unbelievably helpful. The beach was lovely with lots of palapas and chairs. The food was awesome (especially the Mexican a la carte). The room was very clean and the mattress was super comfy. My ONLY complaint was the pillows weren't great.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Good resort for kids

Good resort for kids but not for adults. The water slide and pool was decent. The animals on the resort was friendly and my kids love seeing them. The check in and check out process was a nightmare because it took so long when the line up wasn't long at all. The food was OK, my kids and I was able to eat the food but nothing we really enjoyed eating. The beach area was horrible, we spend like 15mins on the beach and decided we are better off by the pool. The room and bed is as simple and old as it could get but we didn't allow that ruin our trip, after all we were only in there to sleep.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing vacation!

I'm so glad I talked to Jenn and she got us this vacation! Staff treat you so well, they try to accommodate you, very clean place, amazing food! Tour bookers wouldn't refund our money for an excursion when we were sea sick from a previous excursion. Travelers book excursions carefully but other than that we all had an amazing vacation!

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Amazing weem

We absolutely loved our stay at club marival. We had heard of problems with time share reps but we did not encounter that... I grabbed our bracelets and away we went. This was our 3rd trip to the area and our favourite by far. Food was fantastic, staff incredibly helpful, grounds beautiful and weather perfect. Our server Josephine became a fast friend and went way above and beyond her job for us. I want to go back already!

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Amazing Hotel

We are returning next year as we totally enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is on a beautiful beach, in a perfect location to shops and off resort activities also. The accommodations were great! The restaurants were great. No line ups for our stay, in February 2017.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: It was OK

The resort was very large with a lot of walking involved. The rooms were large and clean and the AC worked well as long as you remembered to keep the patio door latched closed. The beach area was a bit rocky with hard sand. Pools were very large but have tiles missing from them throughout the pool. The food was good and plenty full. I was disappointed that we could only get 3 a la carts with our week stay. The grounds were nice , but the site is very large so some things are a fair walk to g [... read more]et too. There was a few spots on the main walk ways that had a strong sewer smell. All in all not a bad spot for the price.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Breathtaking Everythjng

Our experience was 5 star everyday. We were fortunate to experience great weather, impeccable service, and the food and amenities were fantastic! I hope we can travel to this resort again! We used the pools, beach front was awesome and the hotel gym. I'm sure the entertainment was good, as we were told, however we were in bed early most nights, and early to rise to see the fabulous sunrises. Riu Santa Fe: Great Resort

The Resort was clean and easy to get around ,No problem finding fresh food ,lots of fruits. I would recommend this resort to anyone . Party central for sure ,so not as much for young children to do ,Easy to get into the downtown area for a walk around and 15 min down the beach is an area that you can swim .
