Riu Vallarta: Awesome !!

The Riu Vallarta is an awesome resort !! Just got back on Monday May 30 2022 and had a great time!!! The resort was very clean, had friendly staff, amazing buffet, and housekeeping was fantastic !! Every night had entertainment that was also suitable for kids !! I recommend booking here for all ages !!

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Riu never disappoints!

Beach ✅ Food ✅ Pools ✅ weather ✅ view from our eoom ✅ Jamaican People✅❤️✅ Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful clear water, sandy beach, 3 separate pools, great buffet, specialty restaurants were good with the exception of the Japanese one, rooms were large and recently renovated. Riu Playa Blanca: Very beautiful resort, clean, friendly even tho' most staff did not know any English. The only girl that spoke good English was the one at the towel booth!

Beautiful, well kept grounds, pools etc, Staff always cleaning. Disappointed in the beach...volcanic rock, undertow. YOU CANNOT SWIM IN THE OCEAN...IT IS VERY WAVY AND ROLLS YOU AROUND! Masks had to be worn inside the hotel, most people cooperated, and when lunch was served outdoors, by the pool, you must wear a mask. All staff, everywhere always had their masks on, and if you didn't...they reminded you. The food was okay. Not much meat and when we did have it....beef, rib eye, it was toug [... read more]h and chewy. We were disappointed that there was no sea food to speak of....only shrimp and muscles in rice. The chicken was always tender qnd moist. The rooms were cleaned and almost every morning there were flowers on the bed. To go 15 mins., to the souvenir store, by taxi was $30.00. Two hour drive to Panama Canal...it was worth it. We went by mini bus with a group, otherwise it would have cost $200.00 return if we went by ourselves. A great place to just relax. Riu Playa Blanca: Beautiful Resort

The hotel was very clean, good food, amazing amount of chairs on the beach, good drinks. I loved that the hotel was close to the airport. It was a small resort that had everything you needed for a relaxing vacation.

Riu Tequila: Great Resort!

Clean hotel and public restrooms, really good food, comfortable beds and pillows and nicely decorated rooms, friendly staff, good drinks, beautiful sandy beach and turquoise water. Wouldn’t even know it was a pandemic at the resort, which was slightly uncomfortable. Meaning the Friday night Riu party - super crowded & guests arriving by the bus load to the resort, the foam party at the pool - super crowded and foam being shared by everyone in the pool, the buffet was mostly self serve and [... read more] some guests were not very sanitary in the food area.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Paradise on earth

We just came back from Riu Palace Costa Mujeres from a 1 week stay. The beach was amazing, only had seaweed for a couple of days. The food: The Buffet has an amazing choice, You can eat something different everyday. The a la carte restaurants are normal. The only exceptional was Krystal, fusion cuisine,We ate there 2 nights. The service is above average. Once You pick a spot during breakfast and lunch You get a regular server that gets to know how to serve You. Special shout to Marroquín, Nain [... read more] and Abdiel during breakfast and lunch and To Mari our server at the Krystal restaurant. For example I would look for the same server and have my coffee, beer, wine almost immediately. The Beach servers kept the drinks coming all day long, special thanks to Tommy, Canelo and Manuel. The cleanliness in the hotel was immaculate. Front desk services very attentive. You get what You pay for, some people complain about the quality of the food in general and for the price it’s hard to find a better quality price hotel. If You pay twice more You will find better quality food but You have to open Your wallet. I definitely recommend this resort and to have a better view of the hotel and the restaurants go to YouTube and look for video reviews, they helped Us decide choose this resort.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great Resort!

Grounds , pools and rooms were awesome. Food was great. The only downside, you can’t swim in the ocean in front of the hotel. (Hugh waves and rip tide)You can go in the ocean but it is a 15-20 min walk down the beach toward Cabo San Lucas.

Riu Palace Aruba: Good times by all

The hotel was fantastic, food was really good, hotel staff was terrific, really no complaints!!! I guess the only thing would be never got a map of the grounds we were wondering where the poolside bathrooms were and of course the buffets but we did end up asking! Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping

Riu Negril: Great time!!!

the hotel was right on the beach , with a lovely view of the bay the room looked out over the bay as well which afforded us the opportunity to see the other guest come and go . the food was great and if you went hungry it would be your fault. Jerk chicken on the beach was fantastic , but you had to get there early or the side dishes would be gone. all in all we had a great time as it was just what I was looking for , an opportunity to sit on the beaach in a beautiful resort and just chill

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Great resort!! Just what was needed after two years of Covid

This was our 2nd time to this resort, we typically do not go to the same resort twice but after two years of lockdown we wanted to go somewhere where we knew we would enjoy it. The Riu's never disappoint and we had a great time. The resort has gone through a complete redevelopment since our last trip here 5 years ago and it looks fantastic. the restaurants are amazing and the buffet never disappoints and no reservations are needed so we were worried about waiting in lines for meals but that ne [... read more]ver happened. It is a smaller resort but there was never any issues getting loungers around the pool and the poolside servers are very quick and friendly so you never have to wait long for a drink:) We never went to the beach or the ocean so I cannot comment on that area, but we did notice that there is an incredible amount of seaweed in the water and on the beach, which is a problem everywhere in this area of Mexico. Over-all it is a great place to stay

Riu Reggae: A beautiful place

Location, Location, Location! So close to the airport, 7 minutes bus ride! Rooms are good, nothing special but you don't go to a resort to stay in the room, unless you are a honeymooner, lol Service was excellent, people quick to approach you and to check on you everywhere, beach included! Food was delicious and sooooo many options, kudos to the chef and the team! Drinks were good and always cold ;-) The bartenders paid attention to you and they remembered what you asked before or you [... read more]r favourites, specially my double espresso with coffee liquor :-P The entertainment team (Short Boss, Kitty Kat, Fun Size, Black Panther, Buffalo, Kool, sorry I forgot a few names) was amazing, full of energy and always smiling, the shows were fun and the ice breakers kept you engage, great job! Definitely a place that I will recommend and be back.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Top notch resort, staff, food, & overall experience!

An incredible resort! The best amenities, food, staff, entertainment, activities, and more! There was so much to do, see, and eat we literally didn’t need to leave the resort! I would most definitely go back & can’t wait until I do! Truly the best experience!!!

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful beach + amazing resort!

My friend and I stayed at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres for a week in May 2022. Overall, we had a fantastic experience! The resort is impeccably clean, you’d feel comfortable to walk around barefoot the entire time! The beach was absolutely beautiful and the primary reason we chose Costa Mujeres (knowing well that seaweed is still plaguing Riviera Maya). The food was okay! Breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed most of the speciality restaurants, especially Krystal and Mexican. The pool wasn’t for us at all (we are beach people to begin with). Riu Flamingos: Amazing Resorts

What an amazing trip!!! We spend 7 days at Riu Jalisco last week. I was amazed by the hotel cleanliness. We always seen someone cleaning jeeping everything organized. Entertainment was rhe highlights of the trip , great group of peoe high energy and always really excellent shows. Food was great more than we need however food and drinks were always available anytime of the day. I recommend this resort people with family or without...Definitely i will go back .

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Beach Time

Great grounds , excellent pool service , enthusiastic staff always ready to please. Very enjoyable holiday. We really enjoyed that you could walk several kilometres up and down the beach from our location.

Riu Montego Bay: Worst experience

Worst experience! Customer service at the resort is really bad. No one smiles or greets. We landed at 11:30am, but they gave the room at 3:00 exactly. Food was decent. Pools are all so small especially the party pool and couldn’t go into the pool. Washroom toilet was not flushing. Main issue was the lack of customer service.

Riu Guanacaste: Good resort

Hotel OK.Almost 4 star. Service is good. Beach very nice, bat pool aria all the time no clean,very old pool.In the kitchen chef main food department unprofessional. All rums keeping very good! Reception service is OK.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Great resort

It was clean, beautiful and the staff were courteous. The reception area had two bars, a cappuccino bar, restaurant all just off the main area. There were 5 pools lots of chairs. It was a little too big. I have problems walking and there were lots of stairs. The only ramp was off to the side and could only take you to a couple of the pools. It also was a huge hill so hard to push someone up. The food was good. The beaches were ok but the sand is black and the ground a little Ricky.. I did enjo [... read more]y my time there.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Beautiful stay at the RIU

I just got back from a lovely vacation in Bahamas. The RIU was nice. Grounds are very clean, people are nice. I think they could make a few improvements like the food selection at the buffet and improve the rooms a bit with comfortable beds and pillows. The mattress was so hard. The staff are wonderful as well, very gracious and go the extra mile for you. The beach is amazing!!

Riu Republica: a very nice resort
