Grand Oasis Cancun: amazing resort

it was an amazing resort the food in the resort was amazing. the service was nice and quick all around I'll give this resort a 10 out of 10 😊 and I'm defently coming back to the same resort cause the expectacular service and experience

Canto Del Sol: Very impressed!

We loved our spacious room. The king size bed was perfectly comfortable as well as the pillow. The buffet food always had something to our liking. The a la carte dinners were just okay although the service was impeccable each of the 3 times. The surf and turf dinner was the best with the best view of the ocean during sunset. A lovely experience. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel itself well cleaned. Our only disappointment was that children were allowed in the new adult swimming pool [... read more]. It also seemed that there were always too many children in the other pool to really enjoy it. Next time we will not stay in an all inclusive as this seems to be the norm in the last couple of years. I would not recommend this hotel for the above reasons unless it was a family who did not mind all the children in the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

The rooms were very comfortable, very clean, spacious and well serviced. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and other facilities were well maintained, clean and well manicured. Buffet restaurants served good food with a great selection. Service was a little spotty at times, but overall well done. The a la carte restaurants were great with excellent service and excellent food. Trolleybus Service also was very efficient. Our daughter and family were in a different resort last year and k [... read more]ept on commenting on the better quality of this one. It was our first time in Mexico and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, we would recommend this to a friend.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing resort

Amazing place with lots to do. Service was wonderful and always greeted you and helped if needed. Night shows were fantastic and also has a disco opened till 2am. You'll see monkeys hanging out in the trees, deers in the bushes, iguanas and geckos on the paths and also koatis. Tons of good food options and Paco tacos was opened till 2am also. The beach was large enough and water was also deep enough also. The beach had lawn chairs, hammocks and beds. Which you would need to reserve them before 9 [... read more]am or earlier or they may be taken. Our rooms were beyond our expectations, comfy king size bed, TV cable, an and a full mini fridge. The xcaret Park was cool to see if you haven't gone before, the package doesn't include most activities the park offers however, each are an additional cost. Our shuttle bus was an hour and a half late (not the resorts fault) but the resort offered to pay for all our cabs to the airport. Hope to come back to the same resort someday!

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Perfect getaway!

Very very happy with our stay here! Grounds: Small but nice. I didn't think I would like a small resort but it was nice to have everything at your finger tips. Everything is very pretty and clean. Pool: Only one pool but it's large. It never felt crowded or overrun by kids. Food: Food was amazing. There's a different buffet theme every night to mix thing up. You also don't need reservations for the a la carts. I recommend trying all of them, but the Mexican was my favourite. Breakfast  [... read more]is good, but gets a little repetitive. Lunch has a ton of options, all very good. If you don't get the fish tacos you're really missing out. The room drunken 2am room service was also great. Service: AMAZING I have to shout out Rosa and Manuel in the lobby bar and my man Manuel at the pool bar. Make sure you tip them well cause these guys hustle hard and deserve it. Nightlife: Kinda lacking, but whatever. I was so busy drinking in the sun all day that once 9pm hit the only thing I wanted to be entertained by was my bed (which are quite comfy by the way). After reading a lot of reviews I was a little worried that this resort was going to be a retirement home, but there we're a lot of young adults. Relax baby boomers, it was by no means a crazy spring break resort. We can't wait to go back!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful resort

The Ocean Riviera Paradise is definitely a beautiful resort. We chose to stay in the Eden Swim Up Suites because the building was closest to the beach. However, the beach is the biggest turn off of this resort. The beach itself is nice, it is when you go to get in the water. The rocks are huge, sharp and chances are you will come out either with cuts, bruises or both. The food and drinks are great as are the majority of the staff. They have put great detail in the decorating of the resort  [... read more]and it shows. Not sure how all that detail is going to keep clean but right now it looks great! If you are a beach person, stay way and avoid the disappointment....

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Wonderful Relaxing Vacation

We travelled with WestJet vacations out of Hamilton. Our flight was delayed by 5 hours which was a big nuisance. The resort is beautiful. Large but perfectly fine. Food was excellent and beach was rough some days. The staff are friendly. Rooms could use some upgrading. We weren't able to get dinner reservations which was quite annoying. The towel cards are a little lame. No wifi in the rooms only in the lobby. Luckily for us we had read the reviews and purchased Bongo and it was great. The buffe [... read more]t was lovely. Lots of selection and food was cooked perfectly. I would classify this resort as a 4 star not a 5 for some small details noted above.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Loved this resort! We will be back!

This resort was very clean. There were cleaners everywhere and always alvailable. The food choices were amazing and delicious. There was always live music at the main pool. There are multiple activities you can do either with the people of palladium(POP)or on your own down on the beach. The POP were fantastic and friendly as well!

Occidental Cozumel: Nice Resort

This a nice small resort. Pools are good the beach is excellent. The alacart restaurants are good. Friendly staff. Poor service at the buffets though. No utensils or napkins on the table while your food gets cold. No offer of water or a drink most of the time. I think it's understaffed. The shows are from 9-10 then you can go to disco if it's open. It is a nice disco.

Secrets Huatulco: Great Resort!!

Secrets is a beautiful resort with exceptional staff in all departments. Alma the Concierge went out of Her way to check in with Us daily, Our Housekeeper Carlo was amazing! The food was fantastic and the drinks were perfect! The atmosphere was relaxing and it was nice not to have to make a reservation for the a la carte restaurants which were not limited and there was never any wait, food and service were excellent! Excellence Playa Mujeres: more than excellent resort

As this was our third time at this resort, we knew what to expect and believe or not it was better than we thought. The service from the time we got there to the time that we left was unbelievable. They just seemed to go that extra mile to make sure you were looked after. The food was excellent as well as the pool and the lazy river.

Riu Emerald Bay: Nice place

The hotel was nice. The food was good. The biggest disappointment was when we checked in. We were put on the second floor which would have been fine,providing my view didn't consist of a concrete wall. WhenI asked to be moved to a room with a view, they said that was the roomI paid for... Two other couples that travelled with us, received rooms on the 12th floor... and paid the same price. I returned to the front desk, and told them I would pay the 400 pesos per night for the upgrade, but that  [... read more]I was very disappointed. The gentlemen upgraded us to the 10th floor, handed me my cc, and said there will not be any upgrade fee. Antonio at the pool bar, was absolutely amazing!

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Such a great time!!

We stayed at hotel Castillo from April 14th-21st and it was amazing! Upon arrival we felt more than welcome! Staff was great, hotel was very clean, food was delicious! We loved being able to walk the strip and people watch from our balcony. We were also Able to watch the hockey playoffs at a couple bars which was nice. We will 100% be back!!

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Look no further !!!

O.K. finally found the resort that has it all !!!! Seriously, a quiet area to soak in the sun and surroundings ; Another, somewhat crowd mixer and yes, the "party Pool" !!! So you are the boss of deciding what mood you're in and what you are looking for at that very second and minute of each and every day..... totally kept bouncing back and forth from the party pool area to the relaxed area............just not as young as we used to be........L.O.L. Riu Emerald Bay: Riu - clean accomodating resort

The hotel was impecably clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff went out of their way to ensure that the guests were happy (Elizabeth) would return for another visit, the beaches were cleaned daily, the pools as well. Overhaul good value and exceptional friendly people

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing resort and will return.

Everything about this resort is great. The main pool is just amazing, big, relaxing and beautiful. The food at the restaurants are very good. Everyone can find something good to eat. The only little negative about the restaurants is that 1 is closed at night they rotate them. The rooms are big and the balcony is big but none really have a view because of the trees. The staff is unbelievable, friendly and always want to help. The resort is big so if you are not keen on walking you really have to pick out your building in conjunction on where the restaurants are.

Catalonia Yucatan: Stunning Resort!

The resort was beautiful. The beach was small, but it was lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly. Food was great. Pools were warm and the swim up bars were great. "Leo" was our favorite bar tender. Room was nice.

Riu Palace Mexico: Great Resort

Grounds and beach amazing food was absolutely perfect some trouble with air conditioning in room able to change rooms without difficulty close to shopping no complaints staff awesome to deal with friendly and courteous

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Big Place but Nice

The hotel was overall very nice. Food , service, cleanliness was good. Beach was rocky but some sandy , softer spots. One thing , the Bride and Groom should have received an upgraded room. Their room was the same as ours but they didn't even have the glass part separating the bathroom. We saw an upgraded, ocean view room and we feel that the newlyweds should have had that kind of room.

Tukan Hotel Playa Del Carmen: Older Mexican style Hotel - certainly not a beach club

The picture of the hotel is a little deceiving. It actually is covered in plant life, which was okay but could see little from our room, which overlooked the pool. The building itself was old but clean, and was a walk-up, which I knew before I left so that was okay but for someone older they should be informed because it would be very difficult. We had a bit of trouble getting through the grounds to get to the front of the building because it was like a maze so we went out the side door to t [... read more]he alley, which was fine for us, no clock, no phone, no coffee pot which probably is the north american style. However, the front entrance and side entrance were right on or close to Fifth Avenue and we could walk everywhere and eat at the restaurants. The local food was really good and service great. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a six. I don't think we'd go back to the area though. We love Mexico and we'd move on.
