Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: The El Portillo is a wonderful resort .

The grounds are extremely well manicured with a crew working diligently each day. Our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and wash clothes., daily maid service was appreciated. The food in the buffet was well prepared and displayed with a flair. A hostess greeted us, found us a table and a waiter poured tea or coffee. The restaurants that required a reservation were a step up in the culinary world. Very positive comments from other guests who even enjoyed wine service during their meal.  [... read more]There was only a short wait at the beach bars, and the beach restaurant brought drinks to your table. Evening entertainment was quite appropriate for the guests who enjoyed a drink in the evening air. .We enjoyed our swims in the ocean but did not use the pool. The Doctor at the medical clinic tended professionally to our needs and even arranged for the taxi to transport us to the hospital in town. where we were taken care of very efficiently.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Huge resort

This resort has 16 buildings so there are a couple of thousand people staying at any one time, lots of pools, we were warned hot to drink the tap water, (which we didn`t), but the four of us still were sick , throwing up, diarrea, service was good, rooms were clean , we were in the newest building, service in the a la carte restaurants was adequate at best, beach was good as was the entertainment team.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort

Rooms were adequate (little far from main lobby about 5 min walk or get one of the shuttles) nice big main pool with several little ones around. Nice big beach with lots of open lounge chairs. Food was good and staff very friendly and helpful.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fantastic Resort, Fantastic Time

First time for my sons and I visiting this resort and after what seemed like an incredibly long hockey season (and it was) we were all excited too get away. Once we arrived at the resort (and en-route) service was hands down top notch. Staff in all aspects were phenomenal. The resort itself (and accommodations) were spectacular... Whether you want a day at the ocean with lots of activities or just be around the pool there is plenty to do and see.... Including some great kids activities as well.  [... read more]Be sure to ride the bus up to the water park / soccer field and enjoy a little exercise as well. As far as the dining go's, there are lots of great restaurants on-site with plenty of selection ... Even for the finicky. All in all couldn't have had a better experience... Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Wonderful resort!

Clean clean clean!!! This resort is very well taken care of and the rooms, bedding, bathroom, towels were always clean. The king size was very comfortable. Pool was also very clean and water clear. The staff are amazing!!! Can't say enough about the staff!

the grounds were picture perfect the washrooms were very clean the hotel rooms were nice over all the resort was in excellent shape and well kept the only thing I can say that was bad they ran out of rum in the pool bar and beer

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort and Spa is a VERY large resort. There was too much to see in just 7 days!. I guess we will have to go back again and continue exploring!! Service is very very good! Great value vacation!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Definitely Lives Up To It's Name --- LUXURY

We've been to many 4 star a few 5 star resorts, but this one was tops for us so far. The food was always top notch and a nice variety. We tried the Al A Carte restaurants, but found the buffet just as good if not better. The grounds are meticulously kept and are picture worthy everywhere we went, even on the Grand Bahia side which is for families and a lot busier. The beach and pool areas were not crowded and we could always find nice seating, although if you want a 'front and center' lounge you'll have to reserve early (we didn't, so no problems). We plan on going back....we were that impressed. Okay....so now the BAD. Public Smoking should be outlawed....PERIOD !!! It wasn't and it was pretty prevalent everywhere we went (except in dining rooms). But all of the outdoor bars and entertainment areas are VERY poisoned with it. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Excellent Week

My spouse and I spent April 4, 2016 to April 11, 2016 at this fabulous resort. We were pleasantly surprised with a refreshment just as our bus arrived at the resort and were in our room within 30 minutes of our arrival. What stood out to us was the cleanliness of the washrooms in the public areas. A special acknowledgement to the special woman that kept the lobby washrooms spotless and did so with a smile. If I would recommend one thing...the food at the buffet and pasta needs to be served hot.

Occidental Punta Cana: Occidental Grand Puna Canta

There are not enough washrooms located around the resort to accommodate the amount of people. The washrooms were not always in working order especially the women's. We had to fix our toilet in our room several times. Furniture in rooms was well used but apparently it is suppose to be upgraded soon. We could not regular our AC. When entering our room and the AC came on we would get a foul smell. Not sure what is used to water the lawns but it was VERY FOUL SMELLING! Beautiful beaches and lots of chairs. Good food and very clean. Friendly staff.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: It was an amazing resort

The service was number " 1 ". Rooms were clean, the resort and beach were kept clean. The staff was amazing , when you wanted something it was done right away. The entire family had a great time. Love , love the resort

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: 7 Days of Awesome

From start to finish a terrific experience!! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Gorgeous view of the cove from our room. The coffee terrace overlooking the marina and town was a great spot to relax before dinner. Highly recommended!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Excellent Service!

This resort is beautiful! It is a very large resort and we didn't have a chance to see all of it but what we saw, we enjoyed. First, I must commend this resort for the service. It was quick and efficient. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed when we arrived, not a big deal though. When we called the front desk, someone was at our door within five minutes. Our favorite restaurants were hands down the French and Mexican restaurants. We heard from some that it is sometimes hard to get reservations for the a la cartes. However, if you upgrade to Club Premium, you are pretty much guaranteed a spot. I suggest you reserve your A la cartes as soon as you arrive. The pools are nice but crowded. It was sometimes hard to find a chair around the pools. Guests wake up early to reserve a chair and then leave to do other things. How selfish and inconsiderate! I did not like that because the rest of us who wanted to stay by the pool could not find a seat. Not the resort's fault. On the beach, there are no parasols but lots of palm trees, which give some shade. The pool area, however, has a lot of shade! The beach does not have bar service, which we actually liked because we could relax without being bothered. The activities were clearly posted every day and they were fun. We highly recommend an upgrade to the Club Premium because it gives you access to all activities for free, such as the water park, which costs money without the upgrade. Also, if you are adults and you want to relax in a quieter area once in a while, the club premium gives you access to the adults only section (Barceló Bavaro Beach). If we go back, we will get the upgrade again. It was worth the extra cost. It is a great family resort. There are a lot of kids and lots for them to do. Again, if you upgrade, they have access to everything for free and unlimited. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to have the shows a little earlier. They start at 10pm and by that time, we were exhausted from the sun and travel. We were not able to make a single show in the 10 days we were there even though we honestly tried. To the guests, please tip the staff! They work hard to give us an enjoyable vacation and they deserve it. Just because it is all inclusive and your meals and drinks don't cost anything while you are there, it doesn't mean you don't tip. I was disappointed to see so little people were tipping. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: The vacations a whole was awesome!

The food was amazing (a lot of variety). I would definitely upgrade the rooms. The people were supurbe! Everyone was friendly and helpful The beaches were magnificent The pools were great Very family friendly

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Superior Service

Staff were always friendly and helpful. Grounds were immaculate. Loved the free form pool enabling us to swim the full length of the resort at our leisure. Abundance of lounge chairs and pool floating mats. Never felt crowded because of the pool design. Loved all the food, including buffets, restaurants and beach and pool BBQ's. The evening entertainment was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We loved our room with the beautiful view from the 3rd floor. We had no complaints at all. No complaints my husband and I was very happy. The sun was there with us for two weeks .Ours transat representant Transat was always there for us. Small resort easy to walk .good excursion ,Safary need to try

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Decent Resort

The resort was decent. Beach and grounds were amazing. The wifi was mediocre and in this day and age it is needed. I was needing to keep in contact with family and had a hard time. The food was decent, never had a problem finding something we like. Alcohol was cheap and we ended up walking into town to buy better alcohol which defeats the purpose of an all inclusive. The staff spoke very little english and some were not very friendly at all. Room was dated and the shower was horrible. JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Excellent vacation

We were there from April 6 to 13, 2016 Check -in was efficient and quick. The rooms were well maintained and cleaning staff friendly, courteous and very helpful. The high number of beach beds and availability of towels was a welcome relief from other resorts, The food and services in the main hall as well as all the specialty restaurants was consistently of very good to excellent quality with impeccable service. The service and bar staff were always quick to cater to our wants and did not appea [... read more]r to react to tipping. One small note: at the surf and turf restaurant, forget the Caesar salad. Other that that feast away. We had the good fortune to have three butlers who each in his own way made our stay a most pleasant experience. Oscar, Rafael and Boom Boom always responded to our request with a sense of urgency. What was even more impressive is that even when things were not done immediately (which was rare), each one made it a point to let us know where they were at and their next step in meeting our requests. Mr. Pastor, the head butler, should feel good that the people he leads are well trained and so helpful. The check-out was also very efficient and we would like to thank Rafael at the front desk for keeping everything easy and simple. The leadership of the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro should be proud of the competence, courtesy and friendliness of a staff that were always very helpful in making this vacation one of our best in the Caribbean's Thank you.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Excellantl Resort

Everything about the Blue Bay is great. The food, including variety, the beach, swimming pools, grounds, and the service was second to none. Staff were very friendly, bartenders knew what they were doing as the drinks were made properly. Maid service kept the room spotless and they were very friendly. Entertainment was very good. No complaints about this resort whatsoever. Stayed a week, but am going back for at least 10 days. Thank you Blue Bay for a great vacation.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Great value for the money

Well kept grounds, food was excellent, fantastic location Great entertainment. Staff friendly. Ocean view room was excellent. Fantastic view of the beach and swimming pool. Transportation available outside the hotel. Town of Sousa closeby
