Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Stay
After not being able to travel for a few years I was great to finally get away. We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Grand Principe Punta Cana. Overall a comfortable hotel with excellent staff. The resort is long but trolleys run 24/7 which helps when tired. Rooms could be updated a bit but overall nice. A lot of the shops and casino outside the resort were closed due to the pandemic and have not returned yet.
Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Best Experience
I was very impress with the quality of this resort. Rooms were very nice and clean. The variety of food was great but not easy getting A La Carte reservations for convenient dining hours. Pool is really attractive and beach was just enjoyable.
Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Average
Beautiful surroundings and I rate as follows. People are fantastic workers and fellow travellers. The buffet was repetitive everyday .Food was too salty and the selection was limited. The pool was great and the pool entertainment was good. In my opinion it is a fourstar resort cause of the food. I am not sure I go back to this resort.
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Regular Resort. Staff were cordial & helping.
I had to change room three times in a week. Room, provided to me, had damp smell & full of mosquitoes Also in one of the room, shilling had a leek in the bathroom. SHOWER WAS not up to standard. Outside architect of the Resort was amazing & beautiful. Another thing, we realized that "Privilege members" were provided better service than us. Once by mistake we were sitting on the beach in "Privilege Area" , the security guard came and told us to move out of that area. We felt really insulted.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Best value on the Mayan Riviera
I've vacationed at this resort 8 times and after 25 years the Coba is still a quality property. Grounds/shrubbery are well taken care of. The buffet and a la carte restaurants are very good. We enjoyed the new Indian restaurant, Thall. We did however, miss the towel exchange hut at the "quiet" pool. It can be a bit of a hike to the "party" pool to get or exchange a towel. The lounge chairs were also a bit dated, and some need to be replaced. However, lounge chairs at party pool are great. N [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Relaxing Tropical Vacation
We are just back from our vacation week at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal in Riviera Maya. It was a relaxing and refreshing week we all needed badly after a long time of pandemic and sad winters. PROS. We were amazed by the wildlife in the resort: pelicans hunting right at the beach, fish, nasuas, and many birds and lizards. The beach is clean, when seaweed finds its way to the resort lagoons, it is immediately cleaned out. The food was always fresh and diverse, I believe everyone can find anythin [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Worth it
The resort itself is well taken care of. The staff go out of there way for you. The food is excellent and diverse in both flavors and type.We had a swimup room which exceeds expectation. No problems with checking or check out.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Stay at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica
Clean and comfortable stay! Staff was friendly and fun. Lots of chairs at the pool and beach. Food selection and quality was good at the buffet. Drinks were great. Room was clean; housekeeping came early every day! Large resort but very easy to navigate. Evening music/games and Saturday evening beach party but sadly no shows.
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: great spot
The rooms are tired, the beds are way too small if you don't get a king. The food was really, really good! Everything was clean, the pool areas well kept. The villas are well spaced, so you have to be okay to walk, although the trolleys come regularly. Overall, I would recommend this resort.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort
The resort is beautiful and very large, the staff are friendly and food was great overall it was wonderful. The only problem our time was short. Love it love it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have some fun in the 🌞 sun
Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing resort!!!!
It was our first time to Dominican. The food was great, hotel and grounds were absolutely beautiful, all staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful!!! Only bad thing I have to say was my room did not have hot water to have a warm shower but other then that I would definitely go back to this resort!!!
Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great place to stay!
We have a loveliest family stay at the resort at the end of January 2023. Absolutely well maintained facilities starting from lobby, landscaping, villas, restaurants, everything. Very clean. Food and drinks were amazing. Beach and pools are perfectly maintained, gorgeous, stuff was very friendly.. We stayed with the 4 years old and he had a great time at their children's waterpark and Miniclub (children's care place).Entertainment was good enough (but we were not much into this, because we had [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful
Staff was helpful, room was small, but cleaned well. Buffet was decent, a-la carte restaurants were amazing! Drinks flowed strong and yummy. We had a fantastic time. Only thing I'd change is activities are not posted resort to resort so we missed out on some of the fun stuff and there is a shopping area we did not know about until just before we left. But other than that, it was awesome!!
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Disappointed
Room was not available the day of check in. Had to stay in another room the first night. Very inconvenient. We did receive a 100.00 voucher for the lobby shop which is minimalistic for the inconvenience. And it was time consuming to redeem and to top it off they charged the voucher to the room. Twice!!! Had straighten that out at checkout. Drinks at the bar were sub par. Local stuff is not that good. Paying the extra at the Amber there should be higher quality drinks available.
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Slightly better than average Resort
The hotel overall was a little better than average. Check in was a two hour ordeal that I would not wish on anyone, by far the worst check in experience I have ever had. The grounds were very well kept, and the public areas were generally clean. The rooms were a little dated, and the TV in ours did not work at all. The room service was lacking, as the bar fridge was not regularly stocked, and we had to ask staff several times to get beverages. Coffee and cups were not provided every day, and ag [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great food, friendly staff, but bad drinks service
We went to Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo for a week as a family including two sets of grand parents and our four year old. It was a fantastic resort and the beach absolutely blew us away. The sand was soft and well maintained but the best part was the coral reefs just off the shore that were teeming with fish! You could literally walk a few meters into shoulder-deep water and see colorful tropical fish without paying for any snorkeling tours. Indeed, many other tourists came prepared with the [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort.
This a very large resort. We were oceanfront in building 68. We were next to the adults only pool and breakfast buffet. We were here for 14 nights and had a different a la carte restaurant dinner every night at all 4 resorts. When you download the Bahia Principe app you can make all your reservations. There is a shuttle service every few minutes to get you around. It is very clean and housekeeping comes everyday. The bathroom has pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and Shea butter lo [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: I was dissappointed
I was dissapointed in the Resort, As a vegetarian, the buffet offered limited choices and the options that looked like they might be vegetarian were not labelled with a V. I asked several times if the staff could point out vegetarian optins, but they could not understand me. The room had very limited outlets and my phone charger was actually fried in one outlet that sparked when I plugged in my charger, The shower door had soap caked on. Pool side entertainment was mostly in Spanish and much of [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Does not meet expectations
Disappointed in the buffet restaurant, cold food and not much selection or variety. There were days when yogurt wasn't available and fruit selection was minimal. Rooms were not very clean and a slight musty smell. Staff difficult to communicate with as they don't speak English. Service was hit and miss. AL a carte restaurants were good but vegetarian options were minimal Enjoyed the entertainment and close proximity to the amazing beach.
