NYX Hotel Cancun: Boring

Not much to do, bar opens at 10 and closes at 1, no elevator , we were on the 5th floor, not enough chairs at the beach or pool, a lot a lot a lot of stairs, only Buffett breakfast. Sit down, order of a menu lunch and supper . Small pool....and big line ups for breakfast! pick somewhere else

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Enjoyable Vacation

We enjoyed the green surroundings and the local wildlife around this resort, we found the food in the buffet and other restaurants very good plus excellent service everywhere. Beach is approximately 2 km away but can easily be reached by tram. Our room was comfortable but could use a little more drawer or shelf space and better lighting in the bathroom

Each facility, each restaurant, each person had their own cachet and personality. There is no doubt that this resort aims to please. Food was excellent as were the fancy drinks. Everything was as described to us. We had an accessibility issue that was resolved quickly and to our entire satisfaction.

Secrets Huatulco: Amazing Resort!

Everything about this resort was just perfect, and we had a great time. The check-in was fairly quick, and they served us drinks while we waited in line. The food was just delicious in all the restaurants. The restaurants were very comfortable, and had a nice decor. The drinks were excellent - if prefer the top-shelf drinks (Black Label scotch, Grey Goose, Grand Marnier, etc), you have to just ask the bartender. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the Entertai [... read more]nment staff - Dulce, Franciso, Adal, Vladmir, Neftali and Valentino. They kept us entertained during day with Archery, Water Aerobics, Water Volleyball, Bingo, Catamaran sailing, Dance lessons, etc. The resort also had a disco which was open from 11pm to 1am - not too many people were aware of it. Prior to 11pm, there is entertainment at the Sky Bar. They asked us to go to a "20 minute" presentation. It took about an hour and half, where they are trying to sell you "Time Share", which they say is not. Don't waste your time. Overall, it was a great vacation, We would highly recommend this resort.

El Cozumeleno Beach: Great hotel!

Beautiful location. A1 hotel. Friendly professional staff and really excellent alacart restaurant. I'd definately go again. Town is a $7 cab ride away. Golf across the road. Plenty of scuba bear by. The hotel staff really is top drawer.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Wonderful resort...5 star all the way...except in the daytime!

Everything was amazing except every time we showered, our bathroom flooded. We didn't say anything as we heard that it happens to everyone and we didn't want to move rooms! We would lay towels all over the bathroom before and after each shower. We never did use the overheard shower...bad design to say the least. :( I would ONLY recommend this Resort to families as they seem to cater to families only. In the Brochure, it says that the Infinite pool was for Adults only...we inquired and we wer [... read more]e told that "WE don't want to make the families mad"! The kids pool was always empty. Out of six pools, surely one of them could have been made an ADULT only pool. That left a bad taste in our mouth. We spent every day at Secrets next door....not what we wanted to do as we were not welcomed by some guests as they felt they paid MORE and that we should not be there! Other than that...we love the service, food and staff! :)

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Awsome Resort

Fantastic staff and service. The resort was nice and big with lots to do and bieng able to share with the Secrets resort next door was an added bonus. The food was great and so much variety. Excursions were well organized and we were well taken care of while on them. Great spot for the whole family.

Secrets Huatulco: Just Wonderful, You must try Secrets Hualtuco!

I booked last minute through Tripcentral.ca and I was consistently impressed by the overall experience. My wife and I had a really wonderful vacation at Secrets Huatulco. The facilities are extremely clean and well cared for. The food was wonderful and well presented. We really appreciated the fresh juices, the Oaxaca cheeses, guacamole, fresh salsa, and the restaurants were just top notch. It was like going all out to a special place every evening. We really liked the fact that they had a [... read more] dress code and were happy to comply. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Somebody was always nearby to get you a nice drink. The professional attire and behavior of the staff is a reflection of excellent training and management. So many examples of attention to detail, like flower petals arranged on our bed in the evening, restocked beverages in the fridge every day... I could go on and on. The entertainment was great, they really like to include you.. I loved the Mariachi band that came several times, just excellent. We talked with others who had traveled extensively and they all consistently remarked that this was the best resort and community they had been to in Mexico. It was really just one epic day after another for us. 5 Star for sure!

Dreams Playa Mujeres is a resort that makes your dream vacation come true. Whether you are with or without your children this is a resort where all the staff treat you like royalty and wait on you hand and foot. The resort itself even though it is new is very versatile to suit almost any thing you could dream of. With a large selection of food variety, plenty of activities for both young and old. For me and my family this was a dream vacation we never had and we have every intentions to go back.

We had the pleasure of staying in an oceanfront junior suite. It was beautifully designed and we had flowers and champagne awaiting our arrival. Our room was stocked everyday with all the essentials as well as luxury items such as whitening toothpaste, q-tips, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. Dulce had the best cappuccinos and desserts. The alcohol was truly premium at all bars including the beach as we love Grey Goose and found it everywhere. We went to the gym everyday and there was always water and fresh towels, plus, it smelled fresh and was well ventilated. The pools are perfect for families with children or adults. So many options and water parks, plus the lazy river. It was a true joy to be able to stay at Dreams for the week!

Zel Cozumel: Great holiday

The hotel was very nice. Smaller resort and good food. Booked the Premium Oceanfront room and just to be clear the room is located on the 9th to 11th floor in the tower. If you are not good with heights this is not the Room for you. We upgraded and were given the Royal Suite room located right on the beach. Lovely room close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Grand Sunset Princess: Above Average Mid Tier Resort

Stayed from March 28 - April 4 in the Platinum Section of the resort. Large spacious rooms and clean. Resort overall is extremely cleaned and maintained. The staff is great and accommodating. Food is average, drink service is great. Spa service is great and priced reasonable. The shuttle runs from the lobby to Platinum lobby every 15 mins. Great resort for family and groups. For couples stay in the Laguna villas or Platinum suites. Adults only in Laguna Villa's. Family area is great for kids from 2-10. Main pool is party area depending on time of year and if you are not looking for loud music and into overindulging on the beverages then try a different part of the resort for the week. I would return if with a large group or staying in the Platinum Section. As couples then the Laguna Villa.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Party resort/ lots of drug being sold/staff trying to extort you

Great grounds, awesome beach, the rooms are not the best but this hotel is purely for partying and entertainment. Was down at spring break and had a few complaints, heard entertainer announce "the molly is ready for you on the beach " (Drugs) and I did not like how you were asked if you wanted drugs any time you went down to the beach even during the day!!! Also found that hotel staff tried to extort you trying to make you over pay for drinks in the clubs and threaten to call the police w [... read more]hen you ask for the menu with the drink prices.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Over the top!!

Just returned 2 days ago and are already discussing that we MUST return! Everything you want from a vacation all in one resort: free dolphin shows, theatre shows, poolside entertainment and games, kids splash pads, kids pools beside the adult pools, water slides, white sandy beach (with some rocks), delicious food and a la cart restaurants. The grounds are constantly being cleaned and gardens are beautiful. The Caribe is in the perfect location on the resort as it is central to all the amenities [... read more] that everyone wants to see. No need to use the the on site bus service that travels the grounds when staying at the Caribe.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great Value...

We travelled as a group of 4 Adults & 6 kids. Overall the experience was good. I would rank it a 4 star Positive - Great weather, Great Value as the kids we free, friendly staff, A-la-carte restaurants food was very good Negative - Pool water too cold, lunch buffet needs more variety...especially being in Mexico (more Mexican cuisine) Kids club is OK. The Reef Coco Beach: Wonderful Resort!

Super nice resort! Clean, friendly and good food...(no sign of tourista) shows every night at 8pm, different activities throughout the week, if you're interested and located close to 5th avenue (shopping) as well as 12th street (dancing bars). Safe!!! The beach is small and lots of boats park in front of resorts. We didn't mind it, was actually picturesque and for a bigger beach, just walk to the left...

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Excellent Family Resort

Smaller Resort that included friendly staff and great food. Wouldn't recommend the spa but otherwise it was an overall great stay. We'd hoped for a slightly more progressive entry beach but it was still very clean and well kept. Very family friendly with lots of things to do.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best resort we have ever been to, bar none.

The rooms were spacious and they were always clean and well stocked with all the necessary amenities. We have returned for the third time and it definitely will not be the last. We enjoyed the pools and we are impressed with the way your staff are constantly cleaning and catering to our needs.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Fantastic!

Beautiful resort, beach to die for, multiple salt water pools, amazing food and service, fun show's every night. Only 30 minutes from the Cancun airport. This is one to book for your next family vacation.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Very nice resort

Beautiful resort. Impressed with beauty and cleanliness of the grounds. Loved the palm trees on the beach and throughout the resort. Solid food and generally friendly staff. Two big thumbs up from the entire family including kids.
