Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Beautiful Family-Friendly Resort
Iberostar Rose Hall Suites is one of the best family-friendly resorts I’ve stayed at in the Caribbean. This was our first time in Jamaica and we travelled during the first half of January. The weather was very warm, but on most days, the wind made it a little more difficult to enjoy lounging by the beach. I loved waking up every morning and being able to see a beautiful view of the ocean, the pool and the well-manicured gardens from our balcony. However, I do wish that the beds and pillows [... read more]
Catalonia Montego Bay: Good value
The grounds were nice, even though there is only one buffet there are many other places to get food. The food is delicious. The rooms were sufficient, almost everyone of them have an ocean view of some kind.
Catalonia Montego Bay: Blissful
Very relaxing, loved the variety of foods especially Jamaican dishes. Fantastic and friendly staff. The beach was clean and no big wave. It’s safe and quiet. Night time entertainment ends too early for those who likes to stay up very late. Planning to go again 😀
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: this was a disappointing resort, much below our expectations
grounds- good public areas -good rooms - crowded, no chairs, .tiny, poor balcony views - in a word. unacceptable dining - good beach - very dirty. plastic all over. an eco disaster pools - floating debris, pumps not working, unsafe to go in, ruined our time furniture - unsuitable for a resort, very uncomfortable
Riu Palace Jamaica: Great Resort!
The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows, not so much.. The grounds, beach and pools were all very nice. The staff and food was great, except for the coffee. The coffee was very drinkable, just not my favorite.
Riu Negril: Very nice resort.
I have to say that i did stay at the RIU in Ocho rios a few years ago . The food was amazing there. But in Negril the food was not as good here . But other that that it was a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay , but a long ride from the airport !
Moon Palace Jamaica: Relaxing Family Holiday
Facilities were well maintained and clean. Hotel staff were eager to provide service and please their clientele especially the entertainment staff with the children. Meal options were numerous, the Asian restaurant “Momo†was a clear favourite and offered cuisine of high quality and offered entertainment from the chefs, warranting the need for reservations. I wish we had sampled this option earlier! The Italian and seafood restaurant options were not up to the same quality and could be impro [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great Vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe. Grounds are immaculately maintained. Room and balcony very spacious and clean. Resort is huge so lots of places to discover. Always something going on. Wonderful food and delicious drinks. Book a la cartes as soon as you arrive. Beach not the greatest but pool and daily activities so much fun. Staff friendly. No complaints!
Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Loved it!
This is an excellent family resort. This is the cleanest resort that we have ever been to. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The food is excellent, and they remember you throughout your stay. Our room was lovely and as promised was ocean facing. Our daughter loved the kids camp and asked to go back every day! We will definitely go again, and again.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great Resort!
We stayed on the Luxury side. It was all worth it. Beautiful clean room, jacuzzi tub and shower, spectacular view of the turquoise water of the ocean and nice clean pool. Friendly and courteous staff! Oh and the food at buffets and à la carte restaurants was all great! Would definitely go back
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fun resort - not my style though
We just returned from our 1 week holiday. Overall I had a good experience at this resort. I typically wouldn’t pick a resort this large, I prefer smaller resorts. A few reasons why I didn’t love my stay: I found the staff rude even when I tipped them and went out of my way to be polite, the food was mediocre, I kept hearing how fabulous Jamaican food is but I wasn’t impressed by the overall quality, you can only book 3 al la cartes for an entire week - this is a major down fall. If you’r [... read more]
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Terrific week vacation
We were very happy with everything at this resort . It was exactly what we were looking for . The staff were awesome , friendly and made sure we were well taken care of . The food selection was terrific
Riu Reggae: Fabulous Resort
I’ve stayed at Riu’s in Mayan Rivera and Dominican and must say that the Riu Reggae in Montego Bay surpassed my expectations. Check in was quick and very efficient, there were 4 of us ladies, and we got the rooms we requested, side by side and separate beds. I liked the smaller size of the resort, not a lot of walking. Restaurants were great and I liked the fact that the specialty restaurants were first come first serve and you could go as many times as you liked. Never had a bad meal, an [... read more]
Riu Reggae: Wonderful resort
I really loved the riu reggae, it wasn't too big and the entire resort was clean. The staff at the resort were amazing. They were always interacting with people, loved the buffet, and every ala cart restaurant had great food and was presented well on the plates. The beach was beautiful. I loved everything about the resort and plan to visit the riu reggae again
Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Resort. Will return.
Well kept, Rooms clean but could use some fresh touches. Food, Excellent selections at Buffet and Restaurants. Staff Superb and friendly. Only suggestion would be to limit the Vendors at the beach. One afternoon I saw about 20 kayaks parked at the beach and we could hardly get in the water without being harassed. Overall, excellent resort with beautiful ocean view even with our standard room.
Riu Palace Jamaica: A top of the line resort
Top of the line in all aspects. the ambiance and conditions of the hotel and rooms was excellent. The food and special restaurants was also excellent. The staff was most accommodating and pleasant to everyone and well trained. We would not recommend the all day trip by boat and bus to see the sun go down and scuba dive.
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Relaxed
The hotel was very nice , clean. Staff was amazing. Wish there were little huts outside resort close for a beer etc !! All in all grt time !! Beds were comfortable , beer was very cold and so was AC. Found it damp down there but think that’s just in the islands anyhow.
SeaGarden Beach Resort: Good resort
Entrance could be more better in order to give a first impression. Rooms in older blocks need renovation. New block is very good. We got upgraded from the old block to the new one as night disco was ver disturbing as it was right below. Two nights we had a bit of problem, but rest of the days were good. More night entertainment required with variety.
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Amazing resort
Grounds are beautifully manicured , food was amazing , beach kept very clean , entertainment crew are amazing especially peanut, buttercup and black thunder, the only negative for me was the a la carts were too small ( very limited space) in each one
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Bahia Principe
We really enjoyed our time at the Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay Jamaica. The staff were friendly, food was good, resort was clean, lots of pool area and chairs. The beach was not as good but this you can't exactly control, was rocky not as sandy as I would have liked. The restaurants were all very good. The shops were nice to for any essentials you may have needed or souvenirs. My only negative would be if you needed something to your room for eg. more towels of coffee then you would wait quite [... read more]
