Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great Place for Family
We were guests at the OCT during the Christmas Break with a party of nine, ages 16 to 76. We dined at the buffet and tried all the a la cartes. The selection of food was excellent and no one complained about the quality which was above average but not quite gourmet. The pool is located near the beach and volleyball court which made it easy to keep the gang together. The property is well maintained and service is always provided with a smile. The hotel is only 20 km from the airport which makes [... read more]
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Ocean Casa del Mar
This was a "resort", large grounds with ample space by both the pools and the buildings, with chairs and space by the ocean. We went at Christmas and did not free crowded or jammed packed by other tourist, as the whole resort was open/full. The only place where it did seem busy was the buffet, depending what time you went, as there seemed to be a line up starting around 7:00 pm for dinner (show is at 9:00 pm). To avoid alot of the line ups in the buffet building, ask to sit in the room on the [... read more]
Ocean Maya Royale: Good htl
Everything in this hotel is good except one thing . The night entertainment area is small and it is not very intersting to watch it . It needs a big upgrade in that regard . I wiuld still recommend this hotel for everything else .
Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: OK Resort
Good resort in general. 30 mins from Cancun Airport. Room was OK, very small bathroom, very loud air conditioner, view of trees only (building 4), pool was freezing, some a la cartes were great, buffet was good.
Playa Vista Azul: Very good
All excellent. Staff very helpful. However needs more info on where and how to access facilities such as Gym and needs matsto stop slipping on bathroom floors Xxxxxxxoooooooooooooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooloooollooo like
Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great all-inclusive with much to offer
We really enjoyed our 9-night stay at Ocean Coral & Turquesa over Christmas. We had been to 2 all-inclusives in Dominican Republic (Hard Rock Casino - Punta Cana & Dreams La Romana) in the past which we had really enjoyed. Ocean Coral met & possibly exceeded our great experiences in DR. The beach is huge (the hotel has a very, very long beach -- much longer than most, if not all, of the neighbouring resorts). Our kids (18, 16, 13, 13) had a great time as well. Lots to do, many restauran [... read more]
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Modern for Cuba
The hotel was nice and well maintained. The shower actually had hot water and it was beautiful! The food was ok and there was a good variety of restaurants to choose from. The only annoyance is the system for booking reservations which can be extremely time consuming.
Playa Vista Azul: I Love Vista Azul
I rate this hotel 10 out of 10. The food, the room, the facility and the service are absolutely fantastic. We had a great time staying at this hotel for 2 weeks. Very accessible to the bus stop, all the staffs are hard workers and friendly.
Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: The good, bad & ugly
Nice hotel overall but it is somewhat isolated. Service and staff are excellent. The room water/shower have a strong sulphur smell as do the towels and linen. The food is above average with lots of restaurants none of which requires reservations. The house wines could use with an upgrade in quality. All other liquor is good.
Playa Vista Azul: Beautiful Resort
Considering this is in Cuba, this is a very modern looking resort. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, and the room was spacious and clean. The staff are fantastic. The only 2 minor draw backs; 1 the beds were very hard and 2 the food was bland But there was always something to eat and there was salt on the tables. I would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just be aware you are not getting Mexican, or even Dominican standards of food options. Overall, [... read more]
Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Nice resort but over booking is a problem
We booked Dec 6 - 13 but when we arrived they had no room available so we were sent down to the Ocean Paradise for two days. Ocean C&T: Room was good, lots of palapas on the beach but the ocean was not nice due to a seaweed issue. Grounds well kept. Food OK, found two of the a la cares way too noisy for a pleasant dining experience. Nice pools. Wouldn't return.
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Food need improvement
Hotel is very clean , staff are wonderful and always willing to help when needed. Check in and out very good and fast. Food at Buffett needs much improvement, cold except for items freshly cooked, breakfast omelette and Pasta were best. Do not cater to children where food is concerned .Ala-cart restaurants are booked daily, but never know which one you can go to, only 2 available every day, we ended up at the same one twice. Ran out of white wine on 2nd day of our trip, Bars are good, pina [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice Resort
Nice resort rooms were nice but were little tired and need to be spruced up. We did not go in pools at all we are Beach people however they did not look very inviting water looked green. They should paint the pools blue or white to make the pools more inviting and clean looking. Dining was good buffet was good al la Carts the best were Asian and seafood located on beach. Front desk check in was terrible if you did not want to upgrade they were not interested in you. We had to take our own bag [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Great get away
Hotel was spotless. Room was great. A La Carte’s were good. Coffee shop was great. Pools and beach were good. Buffet was good for breakfast. Beach BBQ was great for lunch. Beach buffet was good. Lobby at night was fun. Synchronized swimmers in the evening was fantastic.
Playa Vista Azul: Lovely Resort
Everything was excellent, beautiful grounds, pools, rooms. If you are a beach lover, it is a long walk to the sand. The dining was better than most Cuban resorts. The staff were not as friendly and accomidating as we have been used to from our other 16 times in Cuba, and that was our biggest shock/disappointment. This was my first time at this resort and we are pool lovers, so would highly recommend for fellow pool lovers.
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: A great resort and setup
This was a great resort lots of room and dining areas and lots of room at beach and pools. Food was good and varied. Staff was always great and helpful. Lots of loungers, and bars everywhere. The coffee bar in main area was great , every night for a Great experience. Al la carts were good and great service. Washrooms has someone always there cleaning. Floor areas always being cleaned. Snack bars lots of choices in food and drinks. Pool bars always good and their entertainment group during the da [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great resort! Not so great service!!
Our groups of friends, 13 ppl in total stayed here Dec. 5-10/18. The resort is really nice,we all have a swim up rooms. Just wish they have bidet in the toilet. Facilities are great. Italian restaurant has the most excellent food & services. The Blue moon resto also has good food & services. Route 66, best chicken wings, on the menu it says “hot wingsâ€, meaning it’s hot/deep fried not spicy. Kind of confusing. Who eat cold chicken.LOL. Good service, our server was funny & has a sense of [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Very nice resort!
Beautiful modern hotel.Large, clean rooms.A la carte restaurants were good..did not have to make reservations.Staff was exceptional as always seems to be the case in Cuba.Hotel set in a cliff with a small beach on one side and a larger beach on the other...beach was nice but not as nice as other areas I have been to on Cuba.Had a great beach restaurant that out out a lunch buffet and was open 24 hrs for food.Shows were good especially the water ballet in the pool...they were excellent. My only com [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Wonderful resort
We stayed in the main building over the lobby. We had a beautiful ocean view room with a large balcony. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurants were satisfactory in that we were always able to find something we enjoyed eating. There was a good variety. This resort is good value for what you are paying. I was a little disappointed in the coffee. Cappacinos looked delicious but lacked the full bod [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Second Visit here....might make it three!
I took my wife for a surprise 4 day trip to celebrate her 50th. In all our years of taking tropical winter holidays (usually twice per winter!) we had never returned to a resort that we had visited in the past. We were very glad we came back here! We previously visited here in March 2016 when the resort was brand new. It does show a lot of wear for three years, but apparently a hurricane will do that! Rooms are still very well maintained, and clean, but there are many shingles missing from the [... read more]
