Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Lovely Resort

Just have to say resort was lovely and entertainment was outstanding. The entertainment group should be applauded not pushy but let you get involved if you wished. Smiles everywhere, great holiday. Room was good and everywhere was clean. I was impressed how well the staff were presented as well. Only improvement that could be made was the dinning restaurants, buffet was best and food good and plentiful, many choices. Bistro open 24/7 good food too! And the ice cream shop a nice touch.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Excellent Place

We actually stayed at Royalton Negril- we never stayed at White Sands. From the moment we arrived we felt special. We upgraded to the Diamond Club. We got to our hotel around 1030pm at night. We were shown to our room and on the TV was a picture of the hotel and our name welcoming us. The room was beautiful and there was a plate of fruit from our butler who we would be meeting the next day. Our other butler was Dorett, Thanks Dorett for filling up our tub with bubbles and flower petals. Keno made our reservations for us for the restaurants for the week. The Diamond bar / restaurant by the beach has great food, we ate lunch there everyday. The main restaurant/buffet we usually had breakfast there but if you are a light eater, they have at the Diamond lobby, fruit, yogurt, muffins coffee etc.Don't think we had one bad meal. We really enjoyed the Diamond Club BBQ and got to meet some other people. The property is very nice and the beach is great, real close, not far to walk to. We also got to walk the beach and see other hotels on the strip. We also enjoyed the hot showers. The resort has a large gift shop near the buffet restaurant and a duty free shop as well. If you decide to go, take the upgrade and ask for Keno, he will look after you.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Fabulous Resort!

This is our second time to this resort and again..not disappointed one bit! Rooms a little outdated but large and clean. Housekeeping is amazing. Beach gorgeous sand, ample chairs and umbrellas. Able to talk long walks. Pool fantastic. One recommendation is somehow join the main pool up with the pool bar. Main bar fun! Lots of entertainment at this resort. Loved the jazz bar! It was quite cold. Not much you can do about that.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort!

We just got back from our week long stay at Royalton in Mayan Riviera. It was incredible! We have 2 young children and we cannot say enough good things - food was incredible, room was clean and comfortable, the whole resort was immaculate! Would recommend and stay again in an instant!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Mostly up to expectation

The beach was not usable, full of seawed.The water activities advertised, were non-existant. The resort was isolated,surrounded by swamp (they called it a "mangrove").Very long , narrow driveway to the entrance.(maybe a mile). Although the general design was interesting and elegant "open concept", the workmanship was poor. Food and .Service good..10 differnt restaurants to choose from, All but one, excellent. Will be niosy in the future. If you choose a room overlooking the "mangrove" expect an ugly view and odor of sewers. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Beautiful Resort, Don't Book with Sunwing

We stayed at this resort as a couple (newly engaged) in mid January 2018. The resort itself was amazing - food was top notch, service very professional and courteous, and the rooms / pools magnificent. I will surely come back again and stay in Hideaway again, though likely as part of Diamond Club to get a few extra perks such as the day beds at the beach. We even received "surprise" room service of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries one afternoon! Every disappointment we had during this vacation were caused by Sunwing....First our flight was delayed both ways - I realize delays may happen but we never received any indication that there would be delays or any explanation as to why they occurred. The resort is only 20 minutes away from the airport and us along with 3 other people had a small van to share on the way there. By this point we are all hungry / thirsty since the flight had been delayed about an hour. The driver of the van took us to a completely wrong resort (Royal Hideaway instead of Hideaway at the Royalton) which ended up costing us over 2 hours by the time we got there and drove all the way back. The driver still had the audacity to ask for a tip after all of this... On the trip back to the airport we were on a huge bus that was filled to the brim weith screaming children and stopped at multiple resorts. I would recommend for people to arrange their own transportation and fly with a different airline, but to definitely come to this hotel!

the entire facility was flawlessly clean and the people working there wait on you hand and foot all of the food was excellent as well as the premium liquor, the workers at the pool and the beach set up your seating area

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!

The hotel was very well laid out. The Hideaway section offered a great adult ambience but the Royalton pool was also nice. What makes this resort experience so great is the staff. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and nice and gave us excellent service. The food is also very good. Not one bad meal. Some meals were meant to be savoured and so the service was slower so you could enjoy the experience. This was our second time visiting this resort and we would go back again.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Good Resort

This was my second time at this resort and I would definitely go back. The restaurants were great and there was always something to do throughout the day. The entertainment staff and fitness staff were also very good.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Royalton White Sands ... Best Fitness Program

Fitness program is amazing. They have yoga 2-3 times a day, TRX, bootcamp and more. Very challenging and fun. This is great because for some people, vacation is the opportunity to have the time to work out so this is great! Wish I did more.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: WORST VACATION EVER.....WORST RESORT EVER...NOT A 5 STAR AT ALL!!

Do not go to this resort. Suggesting it is a 3 star resort would be pushing it. I would love to know how Royalton can claim that it is a 5 star resort. Dinner reservation were a nightmare. Rooms are poorly finished and damaged. Constant power outages across the entire resort. Always running out or products, drinks, food. Worst experience ever. Please don't go to this resort, you will be so upset and disappointed. Shame on the owners of the resort. They are taking money from innocen [... read more]t people who think they are going to a 5 star resort and not delivering on their promise and their advertising. Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: DO NOT GO ROYALTON NEGRIL OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

The resort is a disaster and not 5 star. The property and buildings are not even a year old but it looks and feels like a 3 star hotel. Power outages, poor quality of finishes, shortage or drinks and food. Table linen napkins, chairs and place mats were soiled and not clean. There was vomit in the main pool and the resort didn't close the pool to address the issue. Our 14 day visit was the worst vacation we have ever had. Save yourself the disappointment. We traveled as a group of 6 adults and 2 children at a cost of $30,000 and it was the worst value for our money ever spent. Share transfer was another nightmare. a 1.5 drive took us 4 hours. Bus broke down on the road blocking 2 lanes of traffic in both direction in the dead of night. We need to find a passerby and hitchhike to the resort at 11:00 at night with 6 bags of luggage and 2 young children. The whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away from Royalton Negril. I could go on for days with a detailed list of issues.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: More to be discovered ..

Overall I think this Resort is a bit overrated. The food is exceptional however, some of the rooms at the White Sands leave little to the imagination and need a facelift. We had no hot water except for the last day we were there and lights frequently went out as the power was an issue. Only two of the water slides were working which defeated the purpose of us choosing the resort for a family vacation for our 9 year old son. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff. I felt like being at a Royalton luxury property it shouldn't have been timeshare Focused. Entertainment at night time locked they have a big venue set up but they never used it one time I was there. Their entertainment schedules were barely stuck to and there was no life and fun during the day. They need a new entertainment crew. I would definitely say you get more bang for your buck staying at the Bahia or Iberostar properties with entertainment food and quality of Resort. This should definitely be listed as an adult resort I didn't see many kid activities other than the water slides there wasn't much fun for the kidlets. Definitely if you're planning to stay at this Resort try the Blue Waters or if you're staying at the White Sands make sure you get an ocean view room or you'll be Gravely disappointed. Also we upgraded to Diamond Club but I would suggest that you do the same before you go down or you will not get the amenities that you are looking for with this type of Resort. As well, room service locked timing sometimes we never even got our meal. One point the chicken fingers were so undercooked we had to send them back and reorder however we never got the order back up to the room. And although some pieces had already been eaten we noticed that our stomachs were a little bit upset afterwards. Overall I would rate this Resort compared to some of the others I've been at in Jamaica around a 3.5. As you enter the front of the building it is not what you expect from a luxury resort which is a waiting out back. New management is definitely needed and proper organization with respect to entertainment and running the resort in a fashion that they promote it as family friendly with great kid programs and more involvement during the day for fun and relaxation.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Very nice resort maybe a 4 star

I loved the size of the resort. Easy to get around never missed anything. Wasn't fussy for any of the restaurants. Buffet was very good all the time. Service was very good no problems. Room was average no nicer then a med rate hotel. Bathroom was very dated and tired. No bathtub. Minimum clothes storage.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Fantastic new Resort!

The resort is well layout, the grounds well kept. The entire resort faced the ocean so where you sit whether in main lobby or coffee cafe or sports bar balcony and outside seating at restaurants you can see the beautiful blue ocean.

We went to Royalton, Royal Hicacos last week. It was our eighth time at this resort. We love the staff there. They go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable!! Unfortunately, the weather was horrible and we didn’t see more than a few hours of sun the whole week. It was very unusual for Cuba. The bugs were horrible and I had many red welts all over my body. They [... read more] had many activities that we could enjoy in the lobby bar and wherever they could fit a game of golf or bingo etc I love the staff. Hats off to the amazing entertainment staff and restaurant staff. Veronica, Arianna, Ari, Dennis, Jean, Jacques, Anita, Stella selling clothes to all the gift shop staff and others. (incorrect spelling of some)They remember us year after year as Mama and Papa Bear. (A long story for another time) Betty in the restaurant was amazing. She even sent special tea to my room when I wasn’t feeling well. The others were all attentive as well. Too many names to mention. All the staff were awesome in every area from the front to the gardeners. We keep going back because we love these people! It’s a beautiful resort with beautiful people. I would not choose to go back at this time of year again though. We have usually gone on March Break and the weather has always been much better and I have never been bothered by bugs like this time. It’s sad because the weather and bugs ruined our holiday. Thankfully we met some awesome people from England and played a lot of card games together. We had fun even without sunshine. Another time of year with sunshine and no bugs, I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends. This year unfortunately, I could not say I had an awesome time like previous years. This was no fault of the hotel or staff, but weather and bugs which cannot be controlled by these wonderful people!!

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Hideaway serving Halal food

Beautiful resort, comfortable rooms, quite on the hideaway side, food was not up to five star standard. They did cater to halal meals, which was amazing. The beach was clean and the people of Jamaica are friendly .

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great place for kids

Wonderful areas for kids to play- slides and lazy river. Good size hotel and getting around was easy. Beach was beautiful but not easy to swim as bottom is rocky/shells. Food is just ok- only one buffet open for white sands and blue water for breakfast and they often run out of things and long line for egg station.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Great resort

Beautiful small resort, food ok, beautiful beach. Hideaway adult only worth it. Clean, good service, great intertainment. Saona trip Is fun however the advertised starfish holding is no longer permitted. All and all great experience.
