Barcelo Huatulco: Everything you could ask for

Beautiful small resort has everything you could ask for. Staff really makes a huge effort to please. Nightly entertainment was very good and always different. Make your purchases from the local shops at there is very little at the airport duty free.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Nice resort

Very nice resort. Very clean and lots of friendly servers and staff. Buffets provided lots of varity and good food. Restaurants service was great but food could have been better. Beach was clean and well taken care of. Lots of activities and the night shows were great.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing beautiful resort

Excellent food, very clean, friendly staff, beautiful gardens and great beach. The weather was perfect, couldn't of asked for a better vacation. Will be returning with the rest of the family one day. The resort is big takes awhile to figure out your way around, but worth exploring.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Great Resort

This resort was a great recommendation from Tripcentral. Everything was as expected with no negative surprises. The staff at the hotel were amazing, they worked very hard. We always had drinks, a clean room and good service. I have a food allergy and they were very accommodating in all restaurants. We had a swim out room and highly recommend it.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Beautiful Resort

The resort was breathtaking! Rooms were clean and above average. Food was good, lots of options; buffet, Japanese, French, Steakhouse, Brazilian, Italian, and Thai. The landscaping was lush and beautiful. Lots of pools and the lazy river was wonderful. The beach was my least favourite. The entertainment was great, good variety. I would consider going back!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Resort!

This is my 3rd time to this resort. Food was excellent, went to the Buffet for dinner twice, Steak House, Italion, Japanese and the taco bar at the shopping area. All very good. Staff are friendly, room was nice. Pools are big and awesome and the beach is nice with nice waves for playing in. You get served drinks on the beach!! The nightly entertainment is mostly exceptional for a resort. The only downside was we went during the American spring break and there were a lot of teens.. it was  [... read more]quite busy with people, so next time will not go at end of March. This resort is also located 1/2 way between Cancun and Play Del Carmen if you want to do some excursions!

Riu Caribe Cancun: Excellent Hotel and Friendly Helpful Staff

The Riu Caribe Cancun lived up to our expectations. The staff were wonderful, so helpful especially Karen on reception. The food choice was excellent and first class. We were really spoilt with drinks being served all day, on the beach or by the pool by happy waiters. Cassandra from Trip Central CA looked after our booking and we were more than pleased with her assistance and choice of resort.

Park Royal Beach Huatulco: Lovely Resort

We really enjoyed this resort. It was unique from any resort I have visited and can be a bit deceiving, with regards to the layout, when you first arrive. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is amazing and there is enough food choices for everyone! The upper on level 7 was our favourite.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort!

The resort was amazing, it is lush and well taken care of. The food was great, although you could reserve and go to different restaurants the buffet was just as great. The staff were very accommodating. It was a great vacation and I would not hesitate to recommend it and go back soon.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: 5 star? Give it 6 or 7!

When you have tears leaving, you know it's been a great holiday. We stayed at the Coba three years before so decided to stay at the adults only this time and it was without regret. This allows you to go to the Akumel, tulum and Coba, yet have the smaller numbers and quiet at your own resort I loved the little tapas, the indidual smaller portions at this resort, as well as more adult food at the buffet. Everything was so well displayed and elegant. White napkins and table clothes at every meal.  [... read more]The food is equally as tasty at the 24 hour snack bar. We exchanged pool towels at leisure and on trust that we'd take two, giving back the wet two. All staff were polite and accommodating. People should realize tipping is how these people survive so get lots of American dollars bills before you arrive and don't forget to leave a tip for maid service before you leave. Our bar fridge was filled daily by another staff member, with chips, pop, water and small bottles of liquor. I love the trolley service from resort to resort with the drivers so eager to just get you to where you want to go. The entertainment is smaller scale at this resort in the evening so we simply checked the board each morning and mostly skipped over to the Tulum after supper. The beach is long allowing for long sandy walks. The gym could be updated with a little more modern equipment but it was busy during the times I went in the morning proving that a workout could get done. Watch out for big lizards. They love to sun on the sidewalks, grass trunks etc. A visit to the Hacienda is a must for shopping or eve. Dancing. Do not miss the Brazilian restaurant. The ocean view is spectacular and the food second to none. This is a fun evening. Delicious salad bar. Special cocktails are made in the lobby at 6:00. It is an hour 15min from the airport. The resorts saving grace is that it's worth the drive. I cannot recommend this resort enough. We were totally pampered! We have been to the Baha'i in Montego Bay, to Punta Caca, Cuba, etc. After a day, we knew why we'd come back here. Just Go! You won't be disappointed. Have a margarita for me. Enjoy!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great all round resort

This is second visit to Coba. We took my daughter and her family which included a four year old and year and a half old infant. We had a great time. The kids enjoyed slide park, shallow pool and beach including trolley rides.. the trolleys ran very frequently a huge bonus! Facilities were clean; the food was good and rooms great.. dampness was initial problem but hotel cleared up this with dehumidifier.also we were given room requirements as we needed! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Always great!

Our fourth visit to Sian Ka'an and not at all disappointed...well maintained and wonderfully relaxing! This resort maintains and improves over the years.Dining food and service are excellent as always.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: TOO Much of everything!

We stayed at the Coba 2 years ago. This time , we chose the Sian Ka-an. The grounds are awesome, teaming with wildlife and birds. Cleanliness is a priority with the staff. The food selection is above all expectations. The buffet themed nights are inspiring. The food is plentiful, well prepared, well presented and flavorful. You have access to 4 resorts in total, including meals, pools and facilities. The Sian Ka-an has a private sectioned off beach...the Sian Ka-an is an adults only resort. Gett [... read more]ing around from resort to resort is a breeze via the frequent shuttles. The beach has lots of sand and is well populated with umbrella like shelters and chairs. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Most, although not all, the shows are very well done and entertaining...Elvis, Jersey Boys, Divas, etc. Dancing and disco available till about 2 PM. There are 24 hour food and beverage bars. Can I repeat, AWESOME vacation! Be advised, about 1 hour 15 minutes from Cancun airport.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Will always return

I traveled to the Barcelo and stayed in the beach section in February and went back in March and stayed in the colonial section. My boyfriend has stayed there once in 2012 and once in 2015. He says it is the only resort he has been to he will return to. The coral and aquatic life you can see while snorkeling here is wide-ranging and impressive. Please be sure NOT to walk on coral or damage it. The Dressel Diving team at the resort is also phenomenal. I highly recommend checking them out.  [... read more]They make you feel like part of a special diving community. Christina O'Donnell introduced me to scuba diving in a 5 minute free pool trial. I then did the introduction to scuba course and my boyfriend renewed his PADI and we went on 2 dives, Ponderosa cenote and a reef 5 minutes out from the resort. The second trip in March (that this review is for) I did my PaADI open water training with Christina as my instructor. She is a great instructor. Very safety conscious, thorough, knowledgeable and fun to dive with. The Barcelo has a lot to offer as a resort especially having the snorkeling that is so important to us but the fact they have Dressell Divers puts them in a "definitely returning" category.

Villablanca Huatulco: Great resort - Vacation March 2017

The hotel is excellent, great breakfasts, very friendly staff and walking distance to the beach and the town of Crucecita. It was our first time to Huatulco and this hotel had great reviews and all the people we met staying there were very happy with their accommodations.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic week!

This was our third year in a row at the resort! Each time gets better and better. The staff are fabulous, Gilberto at the Mar y Tierra was very gracious and helpful for our breakfasts. The restaurants are all world class! The Suites are clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a small hiccup that was fixed right away and followed up by the concierge to ensure things were to our satisfaction. The beach area is excellent for walking or just sitting and relaxing. Barcelo Maya Colonial: An amazing holiday in every way

From the great flight to the over the top service and accommodations at Barcelo, our trip was everything we hoped for and more. My boyfriend and I wanted a true change of pace with lots of activities that didn't all cost extra money. We found the perfect resort. Our days were filled with sailing, paddle boarding, wind surfing, beach volleyball, yoga and water aerobics and of course long walks on the beach. The food was very good and since we love Mexican, we appreciated that it was always an option at the buffet. The beds were comfy and the terrace was perfect for the two of us to have a drink before dinner. Loved our trip. Thanks trip central!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great holiday

Before leaving on holidays I had read quite a few reviews some good some not so good. But still decided to go to this hotel. I must say that from the time we arrived to when we left and were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, from the main entrance to our room and the restaurants, pool area there was always someone there to ensure things were to your satisfaction. The food was in abundance, the choices were multiple from the breakfast to the snacks in the late evening. All in all we only have good things to say and would recommend this hotel in a heart beat.

Riu Santa Fe: good trip

Food was great service was great The only complaint it was it was spring break and all the college students were blowing off steam and were not mind full of other guests. I would return but not during spring break a little out of control for my likings I can't say enough about the service and the food.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic - truly a 5 star resort!

We absolutely loved the Riu Palace resort in Los Cabos. There was so much choice in the buffet and the food was prepared perfectly. It was the first holiday resort where we actually preferred eating in the buffet restaurant vs a la carte! I particularly loved the breakfast, where you could get a variety of freshly made juices and smoothies. I had a different one everyday. Service throughout the resort was top notch. The room was spacious and had all the amenities. The only negative comm [... read more]ent I have, is room cleaning, when done was fine, however they missed us for 2 days at the beginning of our holiday. In future, I will make a point of choosing the Rui Palace wherever we travel if available.
