Krystal Grand Cancun: Very clean resort

Very clean and well kept resort Good wifi Beach is very crowded and used by locals as well. The only small complaint I would have is that we were told by our airline rep that we would get a hospitality room since we were leaving for the airport 5h after our checkout time, but of course that did not happen.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great week at a beautiful resort!

We arrived back home on Sunday night. We had a great week! It is a beautiful resort and the grounds are so well maintained . The staff all seem to work so hard. The food in the buffet was great with lots of variety. We ate at the steakhouse once and enjoyed it. The only negative I found was one day the room wasn't cleaned, but the money that we left for the maid was gone. I went to the front desk and they were on it immediately. We both agree that we would return to the resort.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Fantastic experience!

My wife, two children and myself were just amazed at the brilliance of the Grand Palladium! Every facet of the resort exceed our every expectation! We were in a loft suite in the Family Selection and we cannot recommend this area enough. From the private check in, to the 24 hour Family Host, and the overly attentive staff at every turn, we were felt to be special, unique individuals within a very large resort. My son was over the moon, when they brought us an XBox to our room for the week! As well, Monse adopted our 2 year old daughter, and treated her like a princess! Her nails have never looked so good! She took such good care of our children! The resort was fantastic! The shuttle and boat service was amazing! We never had to wait more than a minute or two to be taken to our destination. On the few times we chose to walk to the Village (or home to our room on the beach) it was such a serene and pleasant trip. The restaurants were awesome! All of the A la Carte’s had a kids menu as well, so we all could thoroughly enjoy our meals (and my wife and kids enjoyed the “fire coffee” show in the Mexican restaurant!). But by far, we loved the coffee shop the most! Red velvet cake every day! My son was in heaven! Strongest recommendation for the resort, and in particular, the Family Selection! We can’t wait to return!

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Fantastic Vacation!

Beautiful resort with excellent staff all around! There were lots of pools and tonnes of places to sit and enjoy your day in the sunshine. Drinks and food were delicious and tonnes of variety. Loved the coffee shop and the kids enjoyed ice cream everyday! Room was very clean and the balcony jacuzzi tub was a lovely idea. Beach was just beautiful and the kids water park was lots of fun! An excellent family resort for sure!

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Best vacation yet!

When we arrived at All Ritmo Resort and Waterpark in Cancun, Mexico we were immediately greeted by the door man and another staff member that was very quick to assist with our luggage up the stairs. We checked in to the resort quickly and were escorted to our upgraded junior suite. Upon entering our room, we were surprised at the size but were also slightly confused as it didn’t look like the picture of the junior suite on the resort website. We noticed the room didn’t have a bar fridge. A [... read more]s soon as we mentioned this the staff member left and came back with a bar fridge on his shoulder. He plugged it in and the other staff member ran and filled it with water for us. The junior suite was on the ocean side which is the reason we upgraded so we quickly were satisfied with our room and moved on since the few things we were dissatisfied with were quickly rectified. This is my first time at a resort where the staff were this kind and quick to help. The next several days were nothing short of amazing. Our 4 year old LOVED the waterpark. We spent the mornings at the waterpark and then went and claimed our spot at the ocean for the rest of the day. One of the days, chase and Marshall from paw patrol visited the waterpark and it was quickly the highlight of my son’s trip. There were many extras like this that added to the vacation. The food was typical resort buffet food. Each night had a theme. Outside bbq, American, Italian, Mexican, And so on. There was always something we could find. Some nights we enjoyed too much! They have a little kids corner of food which always satisfied my son. He especially liked the ice cream cones and candy! The waiters and waitresses at every meal were more than helpful! Before you realized your drink was empty another one appeared before you. They were extremely kind and polite. The nightly entertainment couldn’t have been better! The music, acrobatics and choreography was amazing! Even my 4 year old was excited for ever show! One of the days we took a taxi to the ultramar ferry to the island of majures which was nothing short of breathtaking. My words won’t do the experience justice. From the ferry to renting a golf cart and touring the island to the turtle far to seeing the coastline of the Caribbean surrounding the island, it was all unbelievable! I highly recommend this to anyone going. The best part is you do it on your own time as opposed to someone else’s schedule. Before we went to this resort, we read a lot of reviews about the beach not being nice. To be completely honest, the beach did have some seaweed as the nightly weather brings it in but the staff are quick to clean it up. We had to step over some seaweed a couple times to enter the ocean but this wasn’t a huge deal to us. There is still plenty on room for a good swim and to enjoy the ocean! In closing this resort is at the top of our list to return to. You get a lot for what it costs and you won’t be disappointed.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Gorgeous resort!!

hospitality was amazing, super friendly staff, very clean, beautiful property, tons of entertainment. We highly recommend golden parnassus, definitely going back!! Excellent variety of restaurants and buffets.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Riu Caribe

One week stay mid April 2019, all the staff was very helpful and friendly. The resort was very clean our room was more than we expected very clean, king bed and fully stocked fridge and refilled every day also had a huge balcony with 2 lounges, table and 2 regular chairs. Fantastic views cost a little extra for the ocean front upper floor but was well worth it. The restaurants were in my opinion ok, the buffet had a good variety of food. Sandos Cancun: Beautiful beach, alright resort.

The beach was beautiful--white sand, clear water, and comfortable cabanas in the sun all day. The pools were ice cold and in the shade most of the day because the sun was blocked by the neighbouring building after the noon hour. Service was mediocre at best, even with generous tips. Staff often confused orders. Drinks were significantly watered down (drinking all day, no buzz). Food was only alright, often luke warm and slightly lower quality that I would expect at a chain restaurant at hom [... read more]e. We did however love the teppanyaki restaurant. Our room was comfortable, but our "king" bed was really just two doubles pushed together. We had a large ocean view window that made up for a lack of balcony. The conceriege staff constantly asked us if we were married, living together, or just friends--as if it was rare for an unmarried couple to go on vacation together. Night time entertainment was lacking. A single activity, often started 30 min to an hour late and had very minimal turn out. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation because the beach (and weather) were so beautiful, but we likely won't return to Sandos Cancun again.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Top Notch Resort!

As usual, the room, service, and food were great - in general. We love this resort and after 25+ trips to the Carribean, this is the only resort I've EVER returned to (5 times now!). We've been to Sandals and Secrets and they don't compare to this resort. It truly is top notch! Our favourite restaurant is Basmati (Indian food) and Chez Isabelle (French). Swim up rooms are a must for us - so convenient! I highly recommend this resort, despite a few minor glitches to report though during ou [... read more]r week: 1) We arrived on April 11, 2019, and the resort was at full capacity so getting beds on the Excellence Club Beach was a 6:30am task for my hubby :). By 6:35am there were none left! This was the first time we'd experienced this. Usually, chairs are in abundance but not that week. Even the regular chairs on the Excellence Beach were completely taken by about 9am. 2) We had a swim up room in the Excellence Club in building #7. We had 3 different pool side concierges that week, 2 of which were "in training". The service level was mediocre in comparison to other visits to this resort (we always get this room type). We are used to the concierge coming over to our room as soon as he sees us on our deck in the morning to lay the towels on our sunbed. These gentlemen were 50% of the time, not in their tiki hut at all, or the other 50% of the time not paying attention (either on their phones, or looking down at something) so we had to go over and ask them repeatedly to "make our bed". This occurred several times during the week. We also left our wet towels at the end of our deck so they could pick them up and typically they would do so very quickly and replace wet towels on the bed mid-day. Not these fellows. They simply were not attentive like the previous 4 trips. We were constantly having to ask for towels/service from them. 3) Food at the new Magna was ok but needs some refining. Our "lobster vol au vent" pastry was so over-baked, it was hard like a rock and inedible. A la carte breakfast was just ok, nothing special enough to repeat. Service was slow. 4) The service at Toscana for dinner was horrendous. So slow it took over 2 hours to serve us a simple dinner. We thought perhaps it was just a fluke but our friends went there a few nights after us and the same thing happened to them. Service was awful and VERY slow. This restaurant needs to be under new management because someone doesn't know what they are doing (especially when you compare to other restaurants in the resort).

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Very good value Adults only

Very nice resort, rooms a bit dated but very clean and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly always going out of their way to help. Great location close to the airport. Beach was cleaned every morning with lots of water activities close by.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: A Paradise you won’t want to leave!

We stayed at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres from April 17-24 and we had an amazing time. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the resort was very clean and the food was delicious. There’s lots to do and you have full access to the resort next door for any reason you are not enjoying the entertainment. At night things close down fairly early but things are just getting started at the resort next door where you have full access to their nightclub and 24h bars. My only complaint was that t [... read more]he resort is pretty far from the hotel zone, meaning it’s about a 30min drive to most excursions, which means expensive cab rides if transportation isn’t provided. The resort is absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing. It was very difficult to leave this paradise!

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: So close to 4.5 star

Stayed Apr 15-25, 2019 Rooms - Reg room- mini bar never refilled for 2 days. Stayed on fourth floor overlooking back of resort, but the lazy river is there and you can see the adults only, so it was ok. Jacuzzi on balcony fits 1 person. Kids used it. Room was ok, but only three drawers, four shelves in closet. So never really unpacked. Bathroom shower leaked, but bed was good night sleep every night, great AC, TV. Room service was basic but 4 star. Upgraded to ocean view with a little pool off [... read more] - same kind of room, few extra freebies in minibar, but pool was awesome and it had a rooftop patio to be shared use with 1 neighbour. ( we never crossed paths) but if coming as two families, the patio up top needs more planters and seating up there, maybe a fire bowl and supplies or radio. Views were awesome up there and it had a 2 person hot tub. Access to bar was 40 steps away. Kids did dolphin swim on site, all in $800 cdn for two kids- 45min was worth every cent! Got two hard copy pictures, a book with the photos ready the following day, all the pic and video they shot, they did an education session, many trainers for the people. It’s expensive but once in a lifetime memories. Food- sucks, only Asian restaurant was 5 star, buffet most dinners and lunches were 3-4 star. Always want to service undercooked eggs, hamburgers, and they do not readily restock items at the buffet. Liquor - 5 star, but ask for it! Spa-5 star- I had a massage( due to room delays, I was compted the massage! Kids for 6yrs and under:5 star Kids 7-13, sucks- nothing for them in terms of kids club( it’s for toddlers only), They have a teen zone but they are strict on not letting younger kids in. There a multitude of pools, hot tubs, and gorgeous area of beach and you can walk a good two kilometres in each direction. We hired a private bus before hand which is not that much considering you get there faster and before a rush of check in, so check in was fast, got to room quickly. Hotel Management 3 star, Bars and Restaurants are understaffed. Call two pick up the room service day and three days later it was still there. No management to fix obvious issues, like enough chairs for the evening projected kids movie, parents who had kids to watch the Grinch movie, and they only had 6 chairs set up and never went to get more, and it happened on more than one night. Landscaping - really, really done well. Pool activities had no inspiration and same thing everyday water aerobics, then water Zumba. Evening bands out in the main area was ok, they had a vender night and outdoor dinner theatre - Pirate themed. Could not find lobster on Site. Had access to adults only, but kids couldn’t be convinced to stay at kids club, for us to go to dinner. I would not return as a family. It has lots of little kids, it’s a resort mean for families with small children. Not for Couples, singles, partygoers, foodies, or seniors liking quiet. Great destination for destination weddings as well, there was at least 7, I saw in ten days. Some of resort was restricted for these events. Location, 40 minutes from airport, and the private van is worth it.

Moon Palace Cancun: Moon Palace Cancun did not disappoint!

Wonderful Family Vacation! We stayed at the Moon Palace Sunrise section from April 16-April 23, 2019. It was an awesome experience. Beautiful resort- well kept, clean and stunning grounds. The food does not disappoint! Loved the breakfast Buffet, Gondola (yummy Italian restaurant -ask fro Mario -best waiter) and Momo (Japanese cuisine). There's so many places to eat! The resort is huge but we stayed mainly by the Sunrise section. Great pools, kids section is cute and the swim-up bar service wa [... read more]s fast and drinks were delicious. We stayed in the Sombrero building which is the furthest from the lobby-it's about a 5-7 mins walk. If you prefer not to walk, they have golf cart shuttles all over the resort and to the other sections Nizuc (we went there as well) and The Grand. There is plenty to do on the resort but the highlight for our kids was the arcade (Wired Lounge). Awesome fun when you have kids aged 9 and 13. The hubby and I really enjoyed it too as it is for all ages. My daughter and I also got manicures and pedicures - staff is great, especially Magdelena and Rita. Overall, had a fabulous time and would go back. Thanks for the great service and food Moon Palace!!

Grand Oasis Sens: Not as bad as everyone rates it

Beautiful beach The service can be slow but not to the point of complaining we’re on vacation I arrived very early and was made comfortable until I could check in at 3 with no issues Room a bit outdated but comfortable who stays in their rooms anyways

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort

Very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Offered me a free upgrade when I arrived and it was a amazing room. Ginormous jetted tub, cleaning staff Carmen left me these beautiful towel art pieces on the edge of my tub each day. She put rose pedals all around the tub, flower arrangements out each day. These all made me feel like royalty. I would recommend this hotel chain to everyone.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: AWSOME RESORT

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AMAZING RESORT THE SERVICE IS IMPECABLE THE FOOD IS GREAT THE STAFF IS POLITE AND FRIENDLY THE ROOM ARE SUPER CLEAN AND COMFY I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO ANYONE I HAVE BEEN 2X AND I WOULD GO AGAIN I LOVE THIS RESORT EXCELLENCE PLAYA MUJERES

Haven Riviera Cancun: Fake luxury - not as good as described

Service was inconsistent and lacking most of the time. Pool was overall nice. Not very big so hard to find free chairs so have to get there early. Towels were in a garbage can(no joke!) and you had to go get them urself (even tho they say there is a pool Butler!) Music has loud and horrible. Asked to turn it down and they said they couldn't. It was some days pop techno music. It was so not relaxing. Some ppl brought their own music because it was so bad. Beach was horrible. They don't clean [... read more] the beach of seaweed properly and line up a whole bunch of lounge chairs next to each other like a warehouse. Also 90% of the umbrellas don't have a key to open the umbrella so are useless. Food was not very good at buffet and restos. Room was very nice. Overall I would say it was not a good experience. I had WAY better service and experience at iberostar which is a 4 star. Not worth going here. If u want to relax u cant do it here.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Very nice and clean

The grounds, food and service are amazing at this hotel Second time there and would return. Entertainment is terrific. Very entertaining and enthusiastic group of entertainment. Beach was nicer then last time.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Not Honest Staff!!!

I book a package via a travel agency. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told no reservation have been made!! After 3 hours arguing with the staff and calling to travel agency from Cancun to Canada, I told the hotel manager that I would like to get a room in my own cost. However, she told me that all the room were sold out. You can imagine how much stress i was suffering!!! After 3 hours, I got an answer from travel agency that the room was booked three days prior of checking and I mentioned  [... read more]to the hotel manager as well. Finally, I had no choice than to call the POLICE!!! As soon as they find out that I wanted to call to the police, the hotel manager offered me to hold the cost of the room on my credit card!!! I was so shocked because she told me that all the room were sold out, so how come she finds a room after I attempt to call the police!!! Moreover, in my reservation, I had an ocean (sea) view but she gave me a side view !!! The hotel and resort are nice and clean but the management is horrible!!! Moreover, the food in lunch every day the same and you have to select the same food every lunch at the buffet.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Fantastic resort!

We had a wonderful time. The resort is clean, staff is friendly and the food was excellent! We can not think of one thing to improve. The only complaint we have is that 10 days was not enough. We will definitely go again to this resort.
