Tesoro Manzanillo: The beach is the only problem here

This hotel is in a great getaway location. It's staff is professional, courteous, and above all friendly. The only fault is the beach. Everyday some algae or some sort of scum floats into the cove. While it is of no fault of the hotel, it does pollute the water and spoil what could have been a great beach experience. We always attempted get a table in his area, but even if we couldn't he would make a point to saying hello with a ready wave and smile, almost like you were visiting him at home. The hotel location is an easy bus ride into town if you feel like exploring. Take the number 8 (which passes by the hotel regularly) to the highway and then take the number 1 into town.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beautiful Resort

The Best Thing About This Resort is the grounds with lush greenery and wild life.Food was excellent and service.Pool was large and clean.Staff were friendly. Beautiful beach and can walk for miles. I will be returning to this resort again. we stayed on the Quetzal side.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: good resort

staff are super friendly and accommodating. Need more chairs around pools (beach front pool and other pools). Bit pricey can find other equivalent resorts for less money. Rooms on top floor do not have cover over balcony making it tough with inclement weather. Standard rooms have 2 double beds

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful resort - Great vacation!

The Grand Riviera Princess was a large resort with beautiful grounds, plenty of pools, restuarants & bars. We really enjoyed the food - the Asian restuarant was our favourite al carte (we tried Mexican, Asian & Italian). The staff were very friendly and the resort never felt crowded. The beach was nice and the water was warm. Not the best beach I have been too but it was good and had an easier time getting a lawn chair/hut in the mornings then we have experienced at other resorst. Would definately recommend this resort.

Secrets Huatulco: very nice resort

resort has everything you need, all very good quality, from food, drinks,rooms, views, service,only bit of downfall is the beach, it is very big, brown sand gets very very hot to walk on. and water in this local always seems to be ruff

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Incredible Resort!

I wasn't sure what to expect to be quite honest but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort was beautiful. Lots for kids to do and see from the waterpark, the kids club or the eco activities, we learned a lot while there. We never had a dull moment. The food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend and hopefully return with our extended family for them to enjoy it as much as we did.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Wonderful resort

Beautiful grounds with beautiful pools and beach. Very well kept facilities. Meals were all good to excellent as well. Evenings in the rooms were quiet so sleeping was great. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Amazing Resort

Very clean friendly resort! Staff were excellent from front desk to waiters to bar tenders to cooks to management! Our favourite staff were the activities staff of Allen, Lilly and Nuam( sorry for the spelling). Love the Fire show, Mexican show and Latin show!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Resort

Seeing the resort for the first time was breathtaking. The grounds were immaculate and everything was very well maintained and beautiful. The lobby of he hotel was awesome with the ocean breeze coming in from the far end. The staff at the front desk were efficient and very helpful,they made sure someone was available to take us to our room. Our room was clean and probably the size of a hotel room in Canada, definately not oversized but sufficient. The food at the buffet was good, there was definately something for everyone. The a la carte restaurants were also very good, a nice change from the buffet. The pools were awesome and plenty of them, the beach was nice not the perfect beach but nice to walk on, swimming in the ocean not the greatest as the water was rough and there were barriers built to stop the erosion, which didn't look terribly attractive. Still loved this resort, many of the people we met were talking about booking this resort again they were so happy with it. I too would go back to this resort and I'm not one to go to the same place twice. I would definately recommend this resort without hesitation. The staff were ALL very helpful and friendly.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Completely satisfied

Every area of resort was easily accessible, the layout was set up nicely lots of pools to swim in as well as the ocean. Food was great and always available when hungry, and the drinks plentiful. Will be going again next year, and it is a short ride from the airport. Servers where also very friendly and easy to get alone with.

Tropicana Hotel: The best in Ole town

We have been going there 7 years. We got married there in 2013. Great time. Always updatin and new tvs and palapas. Central to the romantic zone. Oldest hotels have the best beach. Great restaurants around. Venicicular close by.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort!

From the hotel room, grounds and the wonderful people, we had an amazing time. The beach was private where drinks were served all day. The Breeze Restaurant was by far the best restaurant on the resort, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner by the oceon. The malacon is a five minute cab ride costing only 70 pesos, which is a must see.. Can't wait too return..

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Nice resort

Beautiful resort and excellent location, especially if you want to explore Playa del Carmen. Nice beach but quite a lot of weeds washed up with the windy conditions. Food was excellent, rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Only complaint would be the construction near our room that went on even at night. It was not easy but with much persistence we did eventually get moved to a quieter part of the hotel.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Wonderful resort!

This hotel is very homey with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean. With the adult pool you have the choice of kids or no kids. There are 2 buffets and 5 restaurants for dinners and 3 buffets and 2 snack bars for lunch.

Paradisus Cancun: Amazing resort

Couldn't have asked for a better resort! Service, food, location and amenities were top notch. The a la care restaurants served excellent food and we have been to many all inclusives...even the buffet was better than any other resort we have been to. Would definitely go back again!

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Family resort lots of kids

Went on vacation with friends and overall had a great time. The food was good not over the top but acceptable. The rooms were fine but the bar fridge was rusty so not very appealing. We were to get 2 bottled waters and 2 beer every day - that didn't happen every day so we had to call front desk almost every day. We paid for ocean view and the couple we travelled with did not get one on checkin they did get one the next day. To me this is unacceptable you pay extra for ocean view and you don [... read more]'t get one? And they don't offer a discount or upgrade? Something is wrong with the way they do things. Also expect to have to get up early to put towels on a chair around the pool if you want a chair and expect very slow towel check in and check out. They manually complete a paper receipt everyday. Music starts promptly at 9 am so if you plan on sleeping in don't expect to. Did not spend any time at the ocean it was red flagged because of strong under toe. Almost got run over twice by the parachuters who land on the busy parts of the beach. If you have kids great but if you don't have kids travelling with you expect that the pool is always busy with kids who are allowed to jump in and splash everyone who is in the pool and they are able to use water guns and don't care who they spray. The resort is open to locals who do come in large numbers especially on the weekends. We went off resort twice and enjoyed local restaurants. Bar service at the pool bar was slow and they tend to serve the locals before you. It was strongly evidenced during our stay. The lobby bar should be open 24 / 7. There is an espresso bar in the obviously but tucked in the back corner of the lobby - disappointed that you had to pay. We've been at other hotel chains that include it. I highly recommend going for a massage on the beach - very good value and service. This resort communicates all activities in ONLY Spanish which is disappointing because you can't understand what activities were happening. The only entertainment on the resort was a Mexican night and 2 karaoke nights but all in Spanish. There are NO activities in English.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Awesome

We really enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzel, loved the jungle walkways, food was great and good wildlife throughout the resort, friendly staff, it was our second trip to this resort and we'll return.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Incredible resort

This hotel is amazing!!!!!! We stay in the Sian Kaan part it was so quiet and we always found a seat at the pool! Rooms were great, food was amazing, great friendly staff!!!!! This was our second time, we will definitely go back in the future! Definitely worth the money :)

Dreams Los Cabos: Great time resort

We had a Great time. Very relaxing and extremely friendly staff. Meals were good with a number of selections nightly. Liked that we did not need to make reservations in the restaurants. Air Transat rep in Cabo was disappointing. Put us on the wrong bus to the resort and never confirmed pick up time.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Excellent resort

Very nice resort with excellent food and service. Staff always pleasant, polite and helpful. Very nice gymnasium. Beach was not quite as nice as various carrebean islands but still very nice and well maintained.
