Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: A wonderful first time experience!

This was my first all-inclusive (girls only) trip and I was extremely pleased by everything and everyone. I have nothing negative to say about the resort or staff, but I did find the "street vendors" on the boardwalks at night to be a little bit of a bother. But, this first trip has given me the travel bug and I've already looked at your other locations and I'm working on my husband to go to your Jamaica Montego Bay location.

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Adequate hotel / great location

I was not impressed that we didn't get the room that we asked for via the online booking through Tripcentral.ca The room we chose about 3 weeks prior to our vacation was listed as a Superior Oceanview and the fact that management kept insisting we booked a mountain view when we got there even though we never even saw these words in the ad or on our voucher was very insulting. When we got the voucher and it only said "Superior room" I questioned the agent at Tripcentral and she said we would h [... read more]ave no problem getting the oceanview. We were put on the 8th floor overlooking the town of Ixtapa (with mtns. in the background) and it was so noisy that we didn't sleep most of the first night. We asked to be moved to an oceanview but were told by the manager that there weren't any available even though the other staff member a few minutes earlier had said there was one but that we would have to pay extra for it which we didn't think was right. We were then moved to a room on the 2nd floor. The room wasn't superior at all which we had paid for but it was good enough because we no longer were hearing the music from the discos across the road. We tried to express our dissatisfaction with not getting what we paid for with the agents from Tripcentral.ca but there was never any resolution to the matter. The 2 elevators on a number of occasions stopped at every floor even though no one had pushed any buttons on those floors. I was very happy to get onto the 2nd floor for this reason as we could then take the stairs most of the time. The staff at the hotel were really warm and friendly so that was all good, the buffet food was adequate, the sunset cafe was really good and the pool was okay but pretty packed most of the time. The fridge did not work which we mentioned to the management but was never looked at and we didn't get our quota of 2 beers and 2 soft drinks per day in fridge as was part of package. Minor details. Okay.... I have complained enough. It was a great location and I loved the beach. It was also nice to have the restaurants and little stores across the road and wasn't too far to go to Zihuatanejo. The waves were fine to swim in most of the time and the drinks were good. The rooms were clean and tidy every day and the beds were comfortable.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Excellent as always!

This was not our first visit to the RDC and as always we were not disappointed. The grounds and facility were impressively kept, always clean. We were travelling with 2 children and needed extra drawers in our room. We asked for an extra dresser and it was delivered within hours. The staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I forgot my beach towel in the buffet restaurant one morning (big no no!) I went back that night to see if they had it and was disappointed that the [... read more]y did not. But the next morning when we were there for breakfast the hostess appeared at our table with my towel! Super happy that they found it as I didn't want to pay the fee to replace it and super impressed that they recoginized me. Food and drinks were good, there is something for everyone. This was our first time travelling with our two grandchildren 8 & 10 years old and they had a fabulous time. The RDC is definitely the place to take kids! We will return again!

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Beautiful Resort

My husband and I have never stayed at a Secrets but have heard lots about them and had great expectations. We were told by others who had been to many Secrets resort that this one was sub-par but we thought that the resort itself was very beautiful. We had a swimout room and loved it! The food was amazing, we only ate breakfast in the buffet and the rest of the time we enjoyed the other restaurants, the Oceana was our favourite by far! The seafood was fantastic. The staff all over the resor [... read more]t were friendly and very accommodating, Lucio and Angel at the Oceana were very sweet and very helpful, at the Manatee swimup bar, Felipe and Fernando were lots of fun! Vicky our waitress was very nice! If you are used to being entered by the entertainment crew on vacation, this is not the resort. Many people that stay here are divers, and for most of the week we thought the resort was mostly empty but in fact it was full, everyone was just out diving. The best evening entertainment was Paco the country singer, i could have listened to him all night. The Rock band was good but they didn't play very many songs. All-in-all the resort is beautiful and the rooms are great, the swimming pools were very well kept. There are many iguanas around the resort which are fun to watch. Hope this helps!

very nice & relaxing ! you are taken care of in every aspect good food ,beaches ,pools tour booking was easy and very informative all in all had a great time would go back there again stay longer and recommend it to family and friends

Barcelo Karmina: Beautiful resort

Food in the main place was very good . The Italian and Mexican was mediocre the Japanese very nice . The pools were wonderful. however there could have been a bus once or twice a day to take you shopping. or exploring. Too long a walk in the heat for older folk. Having been to Mexico many times it would not be my choice with little access to other locations in the area.

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Great place!

My sister and I spent a week in San Marino Hotel in early March. We had a fantastic time. This resort has it all for travelers who are looking for an authentic, personable experience. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We made a lot of friends. And that goes to all positions starting with the Reception desk, the Security guys, the bell boys, the housekeeping, the servers and the cooks. There were daily fun activities organized around the pool, but we didn't have a  [... read more]chance to participate. The room we got was renovated, bright and airy. The bathroom was ok, but it would benefit from renovation. The hotel is committed to renovations, and they do a good job making it look seamless for the visitors. The beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. There was always plenty of hot water. The beach lounge area was cleaned daily and chairs and loungers setup at around 9 am available for use until 6 pm. With the days getting longer and nice weather, it would have been nice to have a use of the chairs longer than that. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the beach front. One of us being vegetarians, we had a bit of a challenge to navigate the buffet. Once again, the servers were knowledgeable about the dishes and guided us through the selection. On a few occasions when there was not much selection of non-meat dishes, they offered us an alternative, like pasta or beans. The breakfast was our favorite meal, but lunch and dinners had always a selection of fresh greens, great variety of salads and Mexican dishes. Various preparations of fish were available for each lunch and dinner and they were delicious. Pork, chicken and beef dishes and various sides were quite versatile as well. Drinks were good, both beer (light and dark) and cocktails. We didn't try the wine. I would stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Pleasant Resort!

There are a lot of positives about this Pacific Beach Resort. We love to swim in the ocean and the three sheltered beaches enjoyed by this large resort are great for that. An added bonus is the reef / snorkeling which is the focus of one of the beaches. Also there is a pleasant paved walkway connecting all three beaches - the path itself is an interesting journey that meanders with changing vistas of rockface, vegetation and seawall & includes glimpses of exotic birds and sunning iguanas. The [... read more] resort itself is large and sprawling with 2-storey residential groupings sited on rocky hillsides and connected with a network of narrow winding roadways and integrated with treed green areas. There is plenty of opportunity for interesting walks or if you prefer there is a continuous "taxi service" which provides welcome walking relief while titillating with fun rides that are reminiscent of Disney theme parks. The resort is very clean and well kept. Rooms are large with ocean views and upscale bathrooms. Food is a notch above most "all inclusive" resorts we have visited in the past though we thought it was a shame that the main buffet restaurant was closed in and air-conditioned rather than open to the beautiful ocean frontage. We are retired seniors and were very comfortable with the low key pace of this resort but we expect that the lack of lively "night life" would discourage a younger demographic. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive and we were well served throughout our visit. The only sour note was the fact that they are a bit "anal" when it comes to currency exchange. I attempted to change a $20 bill at the front desk and was told that they needed my passport to do that ! (Give me a break! this would have involved about a half return trip to my room - just to make change for a registered guest! The bottom line is I didn't tip that night - a loss for the waiters). The lesson in that is make sure you prepare for your trip by ensuring you have enough low denomination currency in dollars or pesos before you arrive. There are no ABM's on the site and a bank visit requires a short trip to town.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Fabulous resort

Fiesta Americana is an amazing resort..friendliest staff, great restaurants, spotless resort..pool was warm and wonderful..we will be back next year for another 2 weeks.. Have been to many resorts and Fiesta tops all..

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Excellent Resort

This hotel is excellent. It is a very large complex with lots to do. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The food is plentiful as are the drinks. The beach is breathtaking. Although, some areas are rocky.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: GOOD RESORT

Resort needs a facelift. Workers are very nice. Monkey's are the main attraction! Beach - not able to swim here, too rocky and too rough, had to use the pool every day, and we are not pool people. Food is fine, you won't go hungry. We went for the monkeys. We were bored by the 10th day due to no swimming in the ocean. I do recommend this resort, for the monkeys.

Grand Riviera Princess: Had a Great Time

WE liked this resort a lot. The Grounds are kept very well with workers constantly working. The Food was great, we ate A la Carte every night. I wouldn't normally go to a resort this big but we stayed in the Laguna Villas section which had a private pool, bar service and Concierge. The bartender, Pedro and the waitress, Margarita were awesome. They felt like family. We had access tho the Platinum Club section and benefits including a roped off section of the Beach with....you guessed it, private [... read more] bar service. The Beach was great for walking but for swimming was pretty rough. There were lots of rocks in the water and lots of weeds washed up on shore. They did work hard to clear them with a tractor but.... One thing though was when we got checked in we were met by a "Concierge" and he took the time to explain our benefits but also talked us into signing up for a breakfast were we would hear about vacation packages. He took us for a tour of the resort by golf cart. At that point although we had a welcome drink, I just wanted to get out of my jeans and see the beach. Turned out he was wrong about many of our benefits which our concierge, see above, cleared up. Although he seemed to work for/with the hotel, it turns out he works for for Holiday company as well. We canceled our "Breakfast" the next day. We did run into other sales folks and manged to put them off. Other than that it was a fine trip, I might go back but we do like to try different places each trip. Although good value for the money, this was the most we've spent on a trip so far.

Allegro Cozumel: A really nice vacation.

Grounds are impeccable.Food was ok there was always plenty.Staff is incredible.Rooms are small but clean.Not much for nightlife.Beach was nice always a place to sit.pools clean...the staff makes this a nice family resort we met some lovely people...the excursions on the island were fantastic...nice safe clean place...enjoyed this place ..

Dreams Huatulco: Great holiday and resort.

We have travelled​ extensively through the Caribbean over many years and we this resort is the cleanest we have ever seen along with excellent service and great food. Highly recommend especially for beach lovers.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Just amazing!

We've just arrived home from a weeks holiday. What a wonderful week it was! Everything was perfect. The staff, the rooms, the food, the beach, the whole environment was just wonderful. We will definitely return!

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: small but nice

returned for a 2nd visit after 3 years. same well run very easy going great staff. ask for a room on main floor opening up to pool for best experience. food is good the beach club buffet is great. they make fresh nacho chips and pico de gallo every day. very close to town if you want to go out for a nicer dinner than the usual buffet. marina right across the road for excursions and fishing.

Dreams Huatulco: Excellent Resort

Beautiful resort 25 minutes from the airport. Safe, clean and loads of fun. Loved the 24 hour cafe which served all types of coffee, smoothies, teas and pastries. Food was plentiful including a wide variety of drinks. Service was excellent and we received an upgraded room upon arrival. Enjoyed the infinity pools and also spent time relaxing at the adult only pool.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Jungle Gem

Just returned from one week at the Occidental Xcaret. Great room, good food, lots of acres to wander, wonderful staff. No disappointments. Large pools, beautiful lobby and music every evening. This is a great resort for couples or families.

Allegro Cozumel: Can't wait for our third stay

We came back to the Allegro for a second time and were not disappointed. It's so comforting to return to somewhere familiar. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great beach, food variety, fun bartenders, great location.
