Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing resort! Had a Fantastic Time!

Just back from a fantastic week! Our room was great with an amazing view of the pool and ocean. Entertainment team worked hard all day and night! Had to work a bit to get dinner reservations but managed to secure 6 of them. Food was amazing - no complaints! Looking forward to returning in the future! My only complaint would be for the resort to do away with reservations for dinner or at least make the process easier.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Relaxing & Beautiful Resort

A 40-minute drive from Samana Airport to the Hotel. Stunning views from this beautiful resort. The staff was very accommodating, personable, and professional. Ample buffet choices. Fresh juices daily & plenty of fresh fruit. Egg and pasta stations to order personal choices. The buffet food was always lukewarm. The Beach is very short. Ample beach beds and shade from umbrellas and trees. Seaview Room - The washroom and vanity were on the smaller side. The room and balcony are a good size, with lots of cupboards and a safe is included. The room was well sound-proofed. Music at the pool and at the nightly entertainment area was very loud. Request a quiet room when booking and many of the rooms were close to the outdoor nightly entertainment area where loud music played until 10:30-11 pm most evenings. Coffee and tea are located in the lounge area beside the bar. .

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful grounds

Terrible food in the buffet Waiting for clean plates, line up every morning at omelette station. Coffee machines broken Entertainment sucked. Not a five star resort. I would not recommend Esmeralda to anyone. The grounds were beautiful and lovely beach

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: not a 5 star resort 3.5 at best.Very disappointed.

Grounds were nice.Had a swim up suite which we loved!Food was not very good 2.5 out of 5.Service was very hit and miss 2 out of 5.Room service was terrible.Premiun alchohol not available after 4 days we stayed for 12.Only served local alchohol which i can get at any resort.Overall the swim up suite and the weather saved are vacation.Would not return to this resort.Defitnitly not worth the money.Also air conditioning did not work for first 7 days!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fair for price

Really great food, the beach was rocky and hard to swim in. People/culture was delightful! The resort was an average all-inclusive. Never enough towels in the room. Overall 7/10 - probably wouldn’t go again.

Long awaited daddy and daughter trip Dec 5-12 2022 Maya Riviera, Mexico Can’t deny it, it was great! So much fun swimming with Mya lol! Our room overlooks what’s called the infinity pool. It’s called the Infinity pool because when you’re in this pool and look to the ocean you cannot see the boarder of the pool and all you see in the ocean indefinitely. The ocean is about 30 meters away, 24hr snack bar with booze less than a one min walk away and 24hr room service. Overall, a great trip and nothing the hotel won’t do to please a guest! I wanted to eat at the steakhouse but unfortunately it’s for adults only. They went above and beyond so Mya my child could enjoy the fiest, They brought the meal to our room and Mya had a steak too, thanks Behia Principe, will see you again in 4 months!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: It’s not a 5 stars resort!

We would rate this resort 3,5 to 4 stars, not 5! The rooms are old and dirty. Sometimes things just falling apart. It’s a very busy and noisy place. The stuff has no idea about “ invisible “ service or about any respect of guests quiet time, even at night. Two times somebody tried to enter our room after midnight. … There was so many unpleasant things… In two words, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Really great food!

The Hotel was very clean the rooms really pretty. The staff was working very very all the time. The beautiful gardens were exceptional. The buffet food was was spectacular and the room luxurious. The marble floors at the one pool area I thought were slippery and worried about the elderly. The bar ok but water not easily available.

Great hotel, needs some maintenance. Staff were awesome and rooms were cleaned. The food was good, but don't eat the fish I got food poison. The a la carte was good, but they need to make italian a la carte better ( not Italian).

I would give 4 star. Excellent restaurants, very good services by restautant staff. In buffet, vegetarian dishes is set right besides non-veg. and serving spoons are also shared. difficult for peoples with dietary restrictions. They should make a separate section for veggie

Great place to take your kids. My daughter loved the kids camp activities. Every day was filled with joy and peace of mind. Evening activities were very delightful. Food offered in the buffet caters to vegetarians, so this was big plus. Easy access to the Ocean and beach was great.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Still Great Resort

Our first visit back to BP Sian Ka'an since Covid and it's still a favourite. It's adults only and totally laid back and low key. We want to chill, relax and enjoy good service and food. If you're looking for a lively, high energy vacation this resort is NOT for you. Be aware that it is about 1.5 hour drive from Cancun airport and is not on the beach. Some people are still surprised when they learn it's on right on the beach! The service at the resort is excellent as is the food at the 2 a la carte restaurants and buffet. In addition you can eat at any of the other 3 BP resorts on the property. Lots of variety and flexibility. Overall great resort.

This resort was amazing the pool the beach the rooms the food I can’t say enough good things about this resort the only thing is there is a lot of walking because there are another five resorts that you can go on and look and it is huge thank God for the shuttle buses so just beware there is a lot of walking which I loved

This hotel is amazing it's my six time there and it's only gotten better .The food was so fresh and the choices were plentiful .The people are super friendly and if you can speak Spanish it's a big help.covid restrictions were not appicapple almost invisible .A few people on plane wore masls but not many .Almost seemed like regular days .a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend this hotel .

This hotel is very nice, the grounds are so nicely kept, the rooms are cleaned daily the people working there are amazingly attentive, there’s a buffet where the food is excellent, there’s everything for everyone. Lots of drinks as well. We stayed 1 week and we were able to have 3 dinners at different restaurants, those restaurants are first rate. COVID-19 is present but not due to the hotel, we the clients bring COVID-19 so we must be vigilant and monitor symptoms. To be honest though, most people that feel sick keep coming out of their rooms they prefer to keep quiet and keep enjoying their holiday. The plane back was full of sick people without wearing a mask. All and all we enjoyed our trip and we look forward to the next time we can go somewhere. Trip central is a really well run business I recommend it very much.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: We enjoyed the resort!

The weather was terrific, room location 90017 was super. We tried 7 different restaurants – all were good – service varied from one to another but lots to eat in most cases. The buffet for lunch and breakfast were smaller than some we have seen but still had bacon and eggs everyday. They really keep the place neat and tidy including our room. Hotel grounds: Beautiful! Well kept, clean! However, EVERYTHING is digital. You need a phone for everything! Menus in restaurants are available only by QR code!!!! Wifi is spotty at best. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing and very clean resort ..

Very, very clean in all areas . Food at the main buffet was excellent . Hotel rooms were a little dated , but very well kept and clean . The grounds were very well kept , as were the pathways . The transit system was amazing from main lobby to beach area . Would like to say that the Transat person on site was extremely unhelpful .

Grounds were exceptional, customer service on the other hand not so much. No internet service in our room and very sporadic around the pool or in the main lobby. Also the phone in our room did not work during our stay even though numerous complaints at the main lobby.
