Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Beautiful resort

The hotel was beautiful. Marble floors, updated rooms and amazing stay. The food was average in the buffets. The Italian a la carte was fantastic. Downfalls would be there was no nightly entertainment and the beach was so waving that you couldn't go in. Lots of vendors on the beach if you like to barter. The city bus was just outside the hotel if you needed a ride. Its a quiet hotel so if you are looking to relax this is the place for you.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Quiet resort

The grounds were beautiful, the staff was very friendly. However the resort lacked activities & entertainment. Most resorts have shows every night as well as games or entertainment around the pool,this resort had none. Also there is only one small bar with entertainment only twice a week.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Wonderful relaxing holiday

2nd visit to a riu palace. Love the new system with no reservations at specialty restaurants. This works great and most times we walked right in, with only twice waiting for 15-20 min - so much better than having to reserve ahead of time. Excellent drink service around the pool during the day. Servers asked us frequently to take our order, got it right and delivered it quickly. Food, as always, very good to excellent. Rooms and bed comfortable. Hair dryers could be updated.  [... read more] Main concern is noise level, both during the day especially during bingo which is right around nap time and at night when showtime is on. Could not at all understand what mc’s were saying - seemed to be shouting, speaking too closely to mic, or sound system is the problem - bothersome after a few days and really nowhere to go to get away from it.

Canto Del Sol: wonderful staff

Hotel was very clean,staff so friendly and welcoming, food was good;delicious at the restaurants.Easy to catch a bus downtown.Close to banks I just wish it was a closer walk to the malecon/town.Many I met were repeat clients.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great week!

We had a great week. Food could be better but service was great. Asked about upgrades at check in and got a 1 bedroom suite for free. Beaches are amazing, although vendors get annoying.. most are pretty good with a no ty, but not all. Overall a good resort

Riu Flamingos: A comfortable place

Our third time at the Riu Jalisco, and things feel comfortable. Staff were friendly and took time to talk and engage. Food was very acceptable and the speciality restaurants had a good menu.We especially enjoyed the Italian venue. The resort was near capacity so the main buffet dining area was quite noisy at peak times. Breakfast had a wide selection and good omelettes. Rooms were clean and a very comfortable bed (king). The shows were entertaining if a little on the amateur side BUT the bands were very good and played the right music for a variety of dances. The beach area was clean and long walks in both directions along the beach were easy at low tide. Found the beach vendors were not pushy and prices reasonable with a little haggling. A lot of Canadians on site. The resort is showing its age a little but overall it is a great location, not fancy but with a great beach and lots of friendly staff who are able to converse in English. We preferred the resort because of its medium size.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Nice beach front rooms

I stayed here two years ago and it appears that they may have done some work around the hotel. Less tripping hazards, more even walkways. Stayed this time at Block 1 - beach front and loved it. A little noisy on nights there were weddings but otherwise, the view more than made up for it. Food still needs work and can be bland and cold in the buffets.

Crown Paradise Golden: Very nice resort

The rooms were good but they should clean the air , there is a smell when you enter the room that s really bad even with the AC on. The food I would say good some of the restaurants for dinner weren't that great like the Medetarian. The buffet wasnt too bad the breakfast was great , did not have any sweet at all bcz flies all over them. They should be covered. The staff is wonderful very happy with the service. I WOULD GO BACK . Over all I would give very good.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort: Very enjoyable!

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views from every room. The rooms are spacious & beautifully decorated although the glass bathroom walls & window into bedroom was a little strange. The staff was fantastic especially Carlos, Gerardo & Julio in the buffet and Roberto, Julio & Ramon on the entertainment staff!! My only negative comment would be the lack of gluten free options. They need to get more familiar with the need to offer more information & choices. I inquired in one of the restaurant [... read more]s & discovered I couldn't even have mashed potatoes as they used béchamel sauce to make them creamy! Normally, that would have been a safe option & could make someone quite sick if they were not informed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Like being home

We love the Decameron! Have been many times and find them consistently friendly and helpful. The resort and rooms are clean and well cared for. It is very conveniently located in Bucerias which provides lots of opportunity to wander, shop and dine out. Will be back again soon.

Crown Paradise Club: good

good location . very good place close to shopping and marina you can see the cruise ships coming in and leaving from your room . if you have children there is lots of things for then to do i will go back to club crown paradise again .

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Great Holiday

Staff was amazing from the pool to the canteena (Jose and Adrian). Japanese supper was excellent. Conceiarge was very helpful if you need them. Room was nice always clean and kept the bar fridge stocked.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Simply the Best!

This was our 8th return visit to the Hyatt Ziva in PVR. Our trip was book through Colleen at Trip Central and we did received everything that we asked for. If you are looking for a friendly and quite place to relax for say a week or two then the Hyatt Ziva is worth a try. If you wanna go wild and crazy and party till the sun comes up, then better look for another hotel. The Hyatt is an excellent place for children with lots for them to do, they even get to release baby turtles in the evenings. [... read more] I think they had at least 1 if not 2 weddings everyday on the beach, complete with fireworks in the evening. Las Palmas by the Sea: las palmas by the sea

resort is clean , food is very poor, only 2 electrical outlets in room, staff is excellent. pools are good and enjoyable .I have been going to las palmas for many years, the only reason I kept going was because of the staff. We do not eat at the resort.The rooms are kept clean , again because of the staff. They have an ant problem. The showers are hot then cold, hot then cold.

Riu Flamingos: Good value

Good value for money. Food, drinks, beach were all great. Staff friendly and were always willing to help. Entertainment staff were fun and included everyone. If I had to say something negative it would be that the towel service now limit how many towels you can have. I would just go to the towel service to exchange my beach towel once every morning and come day 5 of my 7 day stay they told me I had no more towels available. I wasn’t abusing the service, I would just ask to exhange my towel [... read more] from previous day and yet I was limited to how many I could have with no prior notification on any other day that there was a limit. Other than this I would highly suggest coming here to riu jalisco.

Tropicana Hotel: Lacking

Some of the rooms do not have A/C !! The staff are very indifferent. The pool and the beach are very good. The food is very basic. Only one menu all day. Not much choice. Location is great, close to everything you may need. Cleanliness could be much better. They have a rule about no glass in pool area, yet they serve glass bottles by the pool!! Their beach area needed to be cleaned better,bottle caps, cigarette butts, plastic forks etc, were there for days.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort, Fantastic Staff!

We just came back from two great weeks at Fiesta Americana. The food was fantastic and the staff amazing. We have stayed at a number of all inclusive in the Puerto Vallarta area and this has been the best customer service we have experienced. The staff always made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. From our morning experience with Cezar and Raphael on the ninth floor and breakfast patio to Hugo and Ignacio on to beach to Catalina and the rest of the towel booth staff, ever [... read more]yone was smiling, helpful and genuinely pleasant. We had great service as well from the staff capitains and of course the amazing chefs. Definitely planning on a return visit!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Good resort.

I've been to this resort a number of times, last time was 8 years ago. The grounds are well taken care of, lots of room to move around. The food is fine, not special, but always good. There's no internet in the rooms, it's located in a lobby, often no open seating. Line ups at the buffet or no seating at times, shouldn't happen at a buffet. Overall a good place, I don't think I'll return though, lots of other options for a similar cost.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Awesome resort

I have been to this resort previously and the grounds, staff and beach are still amazing. My complaint is that there is no Wifi or coffee pot in the rooms. I think with all of the other options in the same price range, I will look elsewhere.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Amazing resort

This was an amazing hotel. Everything was so clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful as was the pool and beach. Would definetly go back here. The staff were all so friendly and the entertainment staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I was amazed that Marco and Marcello even remembered our names. Food was good and it was nice that there was a variety of restaurants to go to. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
