Bahia Principe Explore Coba: No bad surprises, lives up to expectations

This resort is large, which has some advantages. If you aren't interested in leaving the resort, there is a casino, a beach and several lovely pools to keep you busy. The little shuttle trains are fun and fast. Very clean resort (even public restrooms!) and the people who work here are so polite and work so hard. I was surprised that so few people tip for the excellent service they receive. If you can't part with a dollar, please at least show sincere appreciation. Nice to see families enjoying the music and dancing with their children. A great resort for the reasonable price.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: What a paradise!!!!

My daughter and myself just spent a week at the Barcelo Maya Colonial resort in Riviera Maya. This being my6th visit to same area of Mexico I would say by far the nicest resort I have experienced. The place was immaculate, the staff were helpful on any issue we came with. Anything we requested came promptly with a smile. The staff were at all times profession and although we were placed on ground level with patio doors, which I was nervous about, never did I feel unsafe there. The restaurants we [... read more]re plentiful, the pools were never ending and spotless. The grounds also immaculate. Our transit representative also extremely helpful and available. There was so much to see and do there we never left the resort. It was also nice to see so many families and children vacationing together in large groups with so much available to keep the young ones busy. It was quiet at night but activities available for those who enjoy the night life. I would recommend this resort to any family and friend of mine.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Excellent Stay

We stayed at Riu Palace, Cabo San Lucas for 7 days. We really enjoyed our stay. The food and the Service was amazing. Staff at Riu palace are great group of people. They have a great attitude and wonderful people. They gave us 5 star plus service from our arrival date to the departure date. Wireless internet connection was awesome. We booked a ocean view room and the scenery was fantastic. We were able to see the beach and sunrise from our room. What a gorgeous view. Worth every penny. We arr [... read more]ived on my birthday and they delivered a birthday cake and a bottle of wine to our room. I was surprised to see the B'day cake & Wine..!!!!!!!!!!! The people who work at Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas makes all the difference. They are always willing to help you. Housekeeping staff keeps beautifully organized bedroom. Waiters at the restaurants and buffet area do a fabulous job. Our Waitress Abril took care of us most of the time and her customer service was fantastic. Please make sure to tip the people, they do work long hours and still they always have a beautiful smile and gives the service from the heart. We also took two tours with the help of Sunwing representatives on the ground. They are really professional and our driver for both days was Hector from Novo Tours. He was really good and amazing driver. Always took care of everyone personally on the tour bus. We will be planning to go again sometimes in the near future. Great job Riu......Vamos..!!!!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great splash pool

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was great. It was cleaned well everyday. The food was good & plentiful, the staff were really friendly & attentive. The splash pool for the kids was great, they loved it. The only negative was the kids club. They had arranged activities but no toys so my kids went to get their face painted and had to sit for an hour for their turn. ( I had to stay as the kids have to be over 4)They should really have toys to amuse the kids. They went to another activity which [... read more] was arts & crafts. They just spent 15 mins doing that and then they just put on the tv for them which was disappointing. The hotel is only 20 mins from the airport so the location is great. We would go again mainly for the splash pool as it had numerous slides to keep the kids entertained.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: New

Being new the buildings are beautiful and clean . All the trees are newly planted and in a few years the grounds will be beautiful as well. Lots to eat at buffet of course ( repetitive, as usual) Pools were large with swim up bars. Nice water slides for the smaller kids and entertainment staff were always fun . A strong 4 star

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Not your usual all inclusive

We have been to many all inclusives and this one is unique. You actually get 4 resorts in one when you choose the adults-only Sian Ka'an. Sleeping at the hotel is wonderful. The only noise is the sound of birds. The beds are really comfortable and with the penthouse suites you have a butler that will set up the rooftop hot tub with bubbles and roses, aromatherapy in your room, and make dinner reservations for you. It is truly a wonderful experience and a must if you need to unwind. T [... read more]he private beach has wonderful service and it is an easy walk to Tulum and Akamal resorts for breakfast or lunch. We spent most days at the beach and took the tram back to the resort for a couple of hours at the pool. The tram was always quick and honestly we met and chatted with a lot of nice people on it. We really enjoyed the resort and will be back next year.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Amazing people and service

The people / staff were AMAZING. What sets their staff apart is their constant willingness to help, serve, please and go that "1 step further". Truly fantastic. One area for improvement would be to ensure the rooms stay current and renovated. Amazing grounds .... fabulous staff....A1 entertainment crew and top notch staff; first class food selections in numerous restaurants; wonderful spa at reasonable rates ... look for Gina and get her deal of the day :)

Grand Park Royal Cancun: The Grand Park Royal in Cancun was truly amazing, not modern but very nice and creative touches making the atmosphere just perfect !

My daughter and I just spent a week at the Grand Park Royal and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We received an upgrade because we had booked an ocean view and our room was exactly in line with the palm trees. The upgrade was right on the ocean and in a more quiet building, wonderful to wake up to the rising sun and sound of the surf. There are several eating spots on the property but to be honest we found the buffet had a great selection of food and was very tasty. As we  [... read more]moved around the resort I noticed that the staff were never just standing around but always at work cleaning or fixing anything that need attention. The beach was lovely and you could never walk the whole thing. There were two pools a main pool where there was always music and activities going on and an infinity pool that we spent enjoyable days lounging, if we were not lounging on the beach, both having bar service. As well there was a children's pool and outdoor whirlpool. There were many quaint spots all over the property and the overall feel of natural stone walkways to beautiful palm trees swaying in the breeze and a tropical garden. The Rooftop Lounge was an absolutely stunning composition in it's own right created with a variation of gorgeous lounging sofas leaving you feeling like you were the only ones enjoying this uniquely lighted ,star studded ambisonic tranquility. A wonderful way to end your day after a delicious dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was outstanding with two jet nozzles and a 10" rainfall shower head. This Resort is primarily a membership resort so be prepared to be approached by a sales representative. This is not a timeshare and if you decide to become a member it gives you options to other resorts in other parts of the world. I can't say enough about this Resort and we felt extremely secure leaving the premises and venturing out to a local market or hopping a bus into Cancun. You are offered a shuttle to do some day shopping free of charge.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Would recommend

I have had some very disappointing destination vacations and some exceptional experiences. The Azul was one of those rated as exceptional. The resort was very well maintained, the food was first rate and the drinks were perfect. The employees appeared happy in their jobs and very helpful. That is Hugh for me as a happy employee will go out of their way to assist you. I did not travel with small children but I was most impressed with what they offered young families. Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Great resort. Avoid time share if you are Canadian

Great hotel. Ask for the free upgrade to the presidential suite. If you are Canadian and agree to view a time share at the hacienda resort 15 min away, you will only get $100 max per couple. We were lied to and told we would get $250 cash per couple if we went to time share visit. After it was done they lied and only paid $100. Beware

Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful resort

This resort is huge. ..alot if walking but we liked that .....excellent staff cant say enough about them...pools are great beach is wonderful....great food. .. thanks again to trip central and of course Karol Chareza he is an amazing rep.....does is job very well ....looking forward to next year's adventure. ..I will be calling you Karol 😊

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beautiful

We had an amazing time at Blue Bay the staff was fantastic, very helpful, friendly could answer any questions. It was clean. the grounds were beautiful. Very accessible, to all the restaurant's and shops. The entertainment was excellent a lot to do and see. I would recommend the resort to any of my family or friend's. I would also return to Blue Bay and the Rivera Maya.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: A bit dissapointed

My husband and I with 2 other couples stayed at Secrets Los Cabos Feb 25 to March 4. We have stayed at other Secrets and have been thrilled. Unfortunatley not at this property. Firstly the property itself is beautiful and very clean and well maintained. In the restaurants the food was not up to par, very average, not 5 star worthy at all. Breakfast and lunch great dinner not so much. This resort also catered to several conventions while we were there. These events seemed to take away staff  [... read more]from the regular guests. The severs and wait staff are great but there needdd to be more of them. Lastly the sheets on my bed were of a lesser quality. When i half stripped the bed hoping for new sheets the maid only just re-made the bed with the same sheets.

Tesoro Manzanillo: Awesome trip !!!!

We had an amazing time at Tesoro Manzanillo. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We found that the food was great and there was a wide variety for everyone's likes.We really enjoyed that Cartes. We really liked the room and view. We did three excursions and had a blast and they where great value. We met lots of nice people and the weather was amazing. Definitely would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great time.

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing resort!

We were completely satisfied with absolutely everything at this resort from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The Sunwing representatives were very helpful when we arrived at the resort and during our stay. The food was excellent whether it was the sports bar, the buffets or the a la carte restaurants. Service from the servers was also excellent. There is really nothing we could say negative about the resort and would not hesitate recommending it to others or going back ourselves.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Beautiful Resort

We just got back from a week at the Valentin Imperial Maya. What a resort!!! It was absolutely stunning. The food, drinks, staff, environment was amazing! Would go back in a heart beat. Would like to thank O'Neil Graham from trip central who helped us pick this resort.

Secrets Huatulco: 5 Star resort

We just got back from a week at Secrets Hualtulco!! We had a great vacation, this resort is a 5 Star as is all the Staff that work there, groundskeepers, house keeping all the way up to Management. The Food is Top shelf as well as the Booze!! Do yourself a favour and try this place, you will be glad you did.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Resort!

The hotel grounds were pristinly kept and very clean. Beautiful gardens and beach front. The food was mediocre to good but nothing spectacular in my opinion. Staff was very friendly and overall one of the nicest resorts I have been to.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great Time at the Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos

Great Resort, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Food was good, pool was excellent. Enjoyed the shows. Close to San Jose and Cabo. Everyone went out of their way to make our first trip to Mexico a great experience.
