Beautiful view Everything was excellent and very clean. staff was great. food was amazing. Best honeymoon ever. also I would go back to this resort if I have a chance to go on vacation again. thanks to air transat also.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great for kids, not for adults

Beautiful grounds, beach was very rocky, food was good, resort catered to children. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place. If you are bringing kids, its perfect. We were not even able to use the main pool with swim up bar. Definitely a kid paradise.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Stunning accommodations!!

We stayed at the Bel Air fro Feb 19-26 2017. Our room was absolutely amazing!! The food was waaaay too good but I was happy I only put on 10 lbs!! Never hit the gym on site but walked for an hour a day on a truly georgous beach that was covered in gold! (Fools gold). Carlos the CS Mgr was a true professional and helped me to retrieve my camera charger while the bus patiently waited! He lugs his personal telescope to the resort to let the guests view Jupiter and her moons with an abundance of knowledge on all the stars and their orbits. We never had to rush to get a lounger on the beach which is a first for us!! We never saw even a hint of cloud in the sky!! With no cloud cover it gets quite chilly at night!! There was a 20 degree temperature change from day to night. Although that's great for sleeping, we didn't pack right for the chilly nights. I think the best description for this resort is intimate! Everything is right there. The pool is practically on the beach. A few cons: Everything is closed by 10:30 pm. No night life. Checkout at noon and you lose your all inclusive privilege for the rest of you stay. We arrived at 8 pm on Sunday night and were told we would be charged for anything we ate after checkout. My wife was not having this and eventually we were given a chit that comped us. Basically we had lunch and a couple waters after checkout. Should be all inclusive until you leave!!! Our plane was leaving at 7:20. We stayed in 3324 which had an ocean view and sunrise view. Separate bedroom, full kitchen, 2 smart tv's and a balcony. Oh ya!! Almost forgot!! Whales!!!!!! Overall amazing vacation and highly recommended!!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great Resort!

Our vacation was great. Resort staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and plenty large for the amount of time you spent in them. Beach was beautiful, a bit weedy on windy days. Food for the most part was good, nothing really to complain about, but nothing also to really rave about. If you've never been there, beware of the friendly "Reps" in the resort lobby. Ultimately they sit you down and try to talk you into time share time, if you're clear that you aren't interested they gladly leave you [... read more] alone. (These types are also at the Mexican airport). My advice is to deal only with your own travel reps at the resort (ie: mine were the Air Canada reps). All this being said, it's a great resort to go and spend some fun in the sun, and its only 20 minutes from the airport!

Tropicana Hotel: Great hotel, great location, however........

Property, rooms and location are great. The hotel is not geared to children which I found ideal. My only disappointment was after the hotel operator made a telephone call for me and again later for my partner. I suspect that the hotel operator understood the words 'direct call' instead of 'collect call'. The double error cost us $100. The hotel manager later confirmed that the hotel does not make 'collect calls'. Had we gone to the internet cafe to make two 25 minute calls to Visa and Tang [... read more]erine, it would have cost us well under $10. We will return next year and hope to bring our friends.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: good resort

Hotel is good, food is great ! Beach is great! swimming area in ocean could be better. standard rooms or even superior rooms are average . Recommended to have the superior deluxe upgrade and pay the extra. The pool water could have been warmer. We were there in February 2017.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing resort

The grounds and pools were beautiful. The beach was very nice. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Lots to eat, drink & do for the family. The a la carts were exceptional. The rooms were very nice & the beds were very comfy.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Good resort with incredible oceanfront views

The resort is very nice and has lots of great amenities but a few things to be aware of. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, ocean front view and infinity pool right off the balcony are awesome! Staff and service were excellent. Food was very good. Entertainment was also good. The grounds are beautiful and very well developed. Great snorkelling right off the resort. Excellent fitness facilities and fitness programs throughout the day, also great to have 24hr fitness room access. [... read more] The spa services were very nice and reasonably priced. It is a pretty large complex and lots of walking to get to places. The layout of the resort is a bit strange with no breakfast or supper available in the El Dorado Seaside buildings. The El Dorado lobby building is a long distance from where the rooms are. Not a problem if you like walking and there were good paths for an early morning run. They did have golf cart shuttles running regularly so easy options to get around. The only other things not so great was the beach and main pool at the El Dorado side. Not a very large beach area and very rocky, no real good areas on beach for lounging. Loungers that were there were are on quite a slope and not comfortable as a result. The main pool was not great for access and they played quite loud music all day long. Really wasn't a problem for us though as we spent most of our days at the beach and pools on the Sensimar side - much nicer developed beach on that side.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Best time ever

My daughter & I just returned from a fabulous time. We were met at the airport & from then on to almost perfection. We originally booked just the junior suite but upon going down to the beach we realized we would prefer the adult only section. There were so many children around 3 and under. They were basically good - the parents - not so much. We upgraded & moved the next day. Awww bliss. Our rooms were large & decorated sparsely but very tastefully. The bed was so comfy. The staff were so friendly and professional. They remembered our names which just amazes me how they do that. I wrote down their names but lost my paper but it would probably be unfair to single out one or two they were all lovely. The grounds were well kept & my daughter loved the gym. All in all a terrific holiday.

Allegro Cozumel: Best Family Resort on the Island!

This was our 4th time at the Allegro, we have been to other resorts on the island but the Allegro is hands down the best. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, spectacular beach with great snorkeling, the staff are always so friendly and energetic. Good food, clean rooms and lots of stuff for the kids to do. The resort is located away from downtown and surrounded by nature. When you walk along the beach or outside the resort you sometimes see more iguanas and Coatis then people. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: All you need

This resort has all you need, great caring staff,beautiful rooms and grounds, the atmosphere is amazing. The entertainement was fantastic. Myself and husband enjoyed our stay, sad to leave for home and we look forward to staying at another Sirenis resort. Thanks for a fantastic memorable vacation!!!!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: blue bay

Hotel was great , food very good choices and friendly people all around. What I didn't like is when you start to get bothered and stresses out from the sales people who tris to sell the timeshares packages ? we're there to enjoy a vacation not to get bothered and stressed out? Another thing to I think they should improve the auditorium part where they have the shows every night , the show they had for "Grease" was so terrible its looked like a bunch of people on stage going crazy and didn't even [... read more] know what they were doing? Some parts of it was so innapropriate for the young children who was watching.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort!

Good food and service! The rooms were clean and nice. Lots of kids on the resort so it's perfect for families. The resort is on the cancun strip so it's very easy to take a bus and go "downtown" where there's really good nightlife such as coco bongo and señor frogs.

Emporio Cancun: Great beach

Visited Cancun to celebrate our friends birthdayWe enjoyed 7 days of amazing weather and lots of laughs. Let's start with the good points at the Emporio: Beach area is amazing, lots of palapas and chairs, the area is cleaned every morning so there are no large pieces of shell and you have lots of space . We found all the staff to be friendly and gracious. We went to the Italian restaurant for the birthday celebration, Thank you to the wait staff there as they made the night memorable !! Down sides for us were the lack of chairs by the pool, there are a lot of sun beds for rent but were empty the week we were there. I would have to agree with all the comments about the front desk and checking in, this was our most negative experience. When we booked we asked for adjoining rooms so that we could use one of the Murphy beds and share the large balcony. At check in one of us was assigned our room escorted away and then our friends were asked to wait while the staff served a flight crew that had just arrived. Our friends were given the small room in another building. We went back to the font desk and asked to be together , they asked us to come back the next day. We returned and were told the larger room beside our friends would be vacant the next day so back we went on day two only to be told a different story. Because we were at the front desk we witnessed several flight crews coming in and getting service before other patrons. For us the service at the front desk was disappointing!

Krystal Ixtapa: Very disappointed

Poor food.No Canadian rye whisky {any brand Rules }not enforced. e.g.--A La Carte dress code Pool area very slippery and unsafe. Pool restrooms not well maintained.. Lounge furniture sagging and in need of repair. Air conditioning not adequate. No refrigerator. Had to ask for face cloth and hand towel first day. These were not always replaced daily.Sound proofing not adequate for speaker below our balcony.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Fun Resort

This is our 2nd time there. It is a small older resort but they are always renovating. The rooms need work but they are always clean and the beds and pillows are comfy. There is only one pool but always lots of room. The night life after dinner shus down around 10:30pm as there are rooms all around the pool bar. You can still drink at the bar but quietly. If you want more partying you can always catch the town bus ( bus stop just up the street ). Or a cab to the malecon where there is always hap [... read more]pening bars. The grounds are well kept with beautiful gardens. The staff are so friendly and helpful if you need anything. The ocean is less than a 5 minute walk or they have a shuttle that will take you. There is always something to eat, the food is good. They have theme nights for dinner. One night is Mexican, one night is seafood and they always have a BBQ night which is amazing. If you don't like theme food, there is always other food you can pick from. You never go hungry. I like this resort because it is so small that you meet so many amazing people that become friends. Caesar is the manager who always has a huge smile and always asking if everything is ok. He is a super man 😃 I can't wait for next year. If you are a picky person I wouldn't recommend this resort for you, but if your laid back and easy going it's friendly and a lot of fun.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Unbelievable experience

The resort was top notch and service was incredible. We have a child with severe allergies and were sceptical of taking him to an all inclusive hotel. Our fears were quickly erased when we arrived. Between the concierge, the sous chef (who followed us to every restaurant), the wait staff and each restaurants' head chef we were completely put at ease and could focus on the vacation. A big thank you to the Azul Fives team for giving us a safe and enjoyable break.

Royal Solaris Cancun: Girl time!!

This hotel was not really much to look at upon first glance. But immediatly at check-in, the staff was awesome. They continued to be awesome throughout the whole week. They almost always followed up "you're welcome" with "it was a pleasure". I felt that they always meant it. the staff really went above and beyond. The hotel was very clean, the room was very clean and all common areas were well maintained. I have seen many negative comments about the food, but really cannot imagine what [... read more] people could complain about. There was a TONNE of variety and options for all meals except breakfast. That would be the only downside for me. The beachside restaurant was for "members" only at breakfast so the only option was the buffet. But there was always many different choices and daily themes. The beach was lovely and we only had trouble getting chairs once because we decided to go down there in late afternoon. The pool area is tight and chairs fill up fast, but again, we always found something and we are not "go put towels down at 7am" people. We never reserved chairs ahead of time. At both the beach and the pool, drink service was great. They just kept checking on us and we rarely waited long for drinks, they really liked to keep us refreshed!!! We really enjoyed our trip!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

The Sian Ka'an needs a gym facility on the premise...the closest one is at the Coba a 20minutes walk from the Sian Ka'an. The rooms needs updating ie better storage for closes (no dressers). The staff provides really good service and the quality of the food for a resort is exceptional. The grounds are very lush and well kept.

Riu Tequila: A lot of great everything.

This is our second visit to riu tequila. Typically, we stay at a chain we know, but like to try different locations. What we loved about this one is that it's got everything going for it. Food, clean, great staff, playacar location, best beach, memories, awesome show and all activities are around a central area making it easy to be at the hotel. Love it there
