Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Good Resort

Last week of Nov. 2022. Arrived at the resort late afternoon and were informed our rooms (3) were not ready. They provided temporary rooms until the next day. The staff were very professional and courteous and tried to please us as best they can, but it was not a good start to our vacation. Otherwise, the resort seems to draw an older demographic which keeps things toned down which is what we like. The food was very good. No seaweed on the beach. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort!

This was our 5th time at the Ambar and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing time! The grounds are beautiful. The renovated rooms are refreshing and very clean. The food and drinks were great. All the a la cartes were delicious! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Most days the beach was clear of sargassum, and on the days it wasn’t, they worked tirelessly to keep it clean. Ww will definitely return and recommend.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Dominican Republic bliss

I would highly recommend this hotel as the people working there certainly make the difference. I would not recommend booking it through air canada as the rep lied to us. Flight was excellent but the rep was dishonest

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

There is absolutley nothing bad i can say about this resort. We had a GREAT trip, The people, resort, food, room were excellent. Food was over the top delicious, Rooms were big and clean, The people were so friendly and easy to understand...I espcecially liked our concierges Edward, he was excellent. Highly recomment this resort and i will definately be back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Outstanding service

A very nice hotel, with probably the best food and service we experienced in all-inclusives so far. Virtually everybody was super friendly, attentive and fast. We felt like we were very welcomed there. Very good shows, especially Mexican dancing group - very professional, colourful and a lot of fun. Room was good - a huge comfortable bed, spacious balcony. Actually, the beach was the weakest link of the whole trip - it is rocky, with a lot of corals and coarse sand. I could not walk into the ocean without my water shoes. The ocean is not "open", so to say, the swimming areas are protected by sort of rock/coral walls, to make it safer for the swimmers, as the ocean can be quite wavy in that area. But the hotel pools were excellent.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Nice but some things have changed

Resort is beautiful. However. Relax pool is not relaxing any longer. No rules posted. No rules enforced. It used to be for adults but no longer. Security removing towels from lounges because of unclear rules when you can place your towels on them. Waiting for a drink takes way too long.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Resort

The Bahia Principe Aquamarine was a beautiful resort. It was very clean. The staff were lovely and the entertainment staff were fantastic and lots of fun. They interacted with the guests and made them feel very welcomed. I would definitely come back.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very disappointed with bahia Punta cana

Rooms were very dirty, also sour smelling and musty. Room changed 3 times. Poor quality of food on buffet,exact same thing for 2weeks. The bug issue is a very big problem outside and in rooms. My mother needed to be seen by the dr for bites as our benadryl and hydrocortisone cream did not work. Lots of guests covered in bug bites. Cockroaches in room. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Very good facility

Potentially a seven star resort if the staff would be more attentive to the quality of cleanliness in the rooms. I also recommend that everyone check all payments when check out because all receipts are in Spanish. We are very happy with our stay and would recommend to everyone

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Pretty amazing resort

This resort was amazing! The service was beyond amazing. Only thing that we didn't like as much was how the beach was set up, there was not enough areas with full sunlight and depending on where you picked a spot it was still far from the beach. But overall I would stay at the resort again.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Tropical Resort with Amazing Views.

The resort was in a lush, tropical setting with such beautiful views from so many vantage points. The room was one of the largest I've stayed in with a huge balcony with an amazing ocean view, sitting area, comfortable king bed and large spacious bathroom, with both a tub and shower. The elevated heated spacious pool sported a swim up bar, one of a kind views, lots of seating in both the sun and shade, and ongoing fun-filled activities. At the buffet restaurant you were always treated wonderfully by the staff, and the food was very good. I always found much to choose from, using pork, beef, chicken, fish, mussels, potatoes etc. in many different ways. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetable dishes. There was a made to order pasta bar. A large selection of hot and cold desserts, my favourites being the hot rice pudding and fresh ice-creams. The specialty restaurants were a nice way to try some different new foods. My favourite was the French restaurant, but all were worth trying. The bar tenders were all friendly and enjoyed making any sort of beverage. Really enjoyed the frozen Margaritas, Banana Mamas, Coco Locos, etc. The lobby bar had an all day tea and coffee station. The nightly entertainment was good, They was always a musician / singer or sax player to start the evening and get the dancing going. The specialty shows like the Stars (impersonators), Caribbean Party, and Circus sported talented dancers and performers. And as always, like by the pool in the afternoons, the entertainment staff were there engaging with us, dancing with us and for us, getting us participating, having fun, making the experience extra special. Such high energy and pride in their jobs. The resort was so very clean. Constantly sweeping / washing / painting/ repairing. Even though it is a fairly compact resort, with it being built on a hillside there are many stairs, which in the 37 with humidex weather I found taxing at times. The staircases to our 3rd floor unit, as well as many of the outdoor ramps/ stairs were not all well lit at night, so had to be quite careful not to mis-step. I'm so very glad I went and saw this beautiful resort.

Very great experience! Food was great! Everyone was very friendly! Luxury side was definitely cleaner we noticed only downfalls were the mattresses were extremely old and even with the upgraded pkg, some drinks were not included. bud / budlight / corona / redbull, top shelf drinks

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing staff, beautiful resort!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia. The staff was amazing and took care of us every step of the way. The food was great and the choices were endless with so many restaurants. The entertainment was amazing and we loved every minute of it! We will definitely be going back.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great spot

This is our 3rd time at grand Bahia, everything is very clean , grounds are well kept, pools are immaculate, food at the buffets is great , it is a big resort with multiple hotels , but is easy to get around , with their Trollies , a la carte restaurants are great , the kids always love the Japanese show lounge dinner . Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Baha’i Principle Grand Punta Cana

We choose this resort and wasn’t disappointed. It met our expectations from the we arrived to the day we departures. We have already recommended this resort to our relatives and friends. We will definitely stay at this location for our next vacation.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Everything was back to normal at the Sian Ka'an

Everything was great! My only suggestion is that since the Sian Ka'an is away from the beach, the pools are what vacationers here are going for! If you book a basic room, you end up on the far side of the resort with the plunge pool away from all amenities. Extremely boring! It is best to book at minimum a Superior room as these rooms are in the larger part of the resort were there are 2 pools, the snack bar and a much closer walk to the main entrance. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort

What an amazing place. Absolutely loved it, the staff were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Very accommodating and always pleasant, just brightened my day. The hotel was always clean, staff always working hard to keep it that way. The trolley service was outstanding. If you were walking the staff would stop to see if you needed a ride Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would go back again.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Expected more from this resort...

I had a lot of high-hopes for this resort as it's part of the Bahia chain. We stayed at the Aquamarine which is the adults only section and is supposed to be "Grand". The first thing that struck us was that the service was beyond poor. In speaking with others around us, they felt the exact same way. It took hours for someone to come and ask what we'd like to drink. There were days at breakfast where our coffee came after we finished eating. Breakfast was the only meal where you could get a decent variety of food as the eggs were freshly made to your liking. Lunch and dinner had the same stuff everyday and the fruits were not fresh. The rooms are okay. They do need some updating as it is a bit old school in terms of the decor and design. The rooms also need a fair bit of deep cleaning as the shower head did not look clean. Other than that, the rest of the room was decent. A huge shoutout to the staff and food at MEAT restaurant at Amber. This was the best experience we had all trip that we booked that for dinner twice. Another huge shoutout to the waiters at the Village area - their service was amazing. I would not return to this resort as I have had better experiences at other resorts in the past.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Great resort - food ok

Resort grounds were great , lots to do staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I got very sick after eating at the Al la carte restaurant. We only visited the buffet after that which was fine but not overly remarkable. Overall I was disappointed with the food. The beach was very good lots of activity.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic Property!!!

This was a group trip (8 of us) and one of the real benefits to staying at the Sian Ka’an resort is that you get to use Tulum, Coba and Akumal properties as well. The trolleys were quick and took you wherever you wanted to go. This made our week fly by as we kept ourselves busy visiting the other resorts. Overall 5/5 experience for food, rooms and overall experience.
