Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Another wonderful holiday at the Royal Decameron in Bucerias

This is our second trip to this resort. The food, accommodations, staff, pools and location all excellent! So close to Bucerias and all local amenities. The beach is wonderful and everything was so clean!

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Great Two Weeks

We had a fabulous time at Fiesta Americana. Some highlights: - the hotel was clean and well equipped - the food was great with lots of selection - the staff were amazing and always willing to help and go that extra step to make sure we had a great stay

Riu Vallarta: Resort that will make you to return

We liked almost everything in this resort:the art deco style it is decorated in, reception(check-in/out took a couple of minutes). Staff is super friendly & helpful, no problems with English. Rooms and grounds are clean, frig is supplied daily. Washrooms are a bit dated and need renovation, be aware there is only soap & shampoo/shower gel supplied. There is no problem with beach lounges but the shade is only from tall palm trees which is not enough unless you want to fry in open sun. We saw people bringing their own umbrellas or you can rent them from the locals. Entertainment was good, every night live music shows & performances. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Crown Paradise Club: Good place for kids

The kids pool was great. Lots of happy children playing in there every day. Food could have been better, but there were lots of options. Close to the airport and Marina. Overall, a good family vacation.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: good family resort

This resort was pleasant quite and very clean even with the constitutions going on, the staff was always their for us and we also had the Transat rep. Agustin and his friend for tours and informations. We did enjoy our stay with the Decameron Los Cocos

Grand Palladium Vallarta: One of the best we've been to!

The rooms and amenities were very good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent at all the restaurants. Special kudos to Effren and the staff at the Family Selections Pool Bar and Juan at the Hemingway Bar who made the best cocktails!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Nice resort but far from a five star

Having stayed at other Secrets resorts in Mexico, we came with high expectation and were slightly let down. Although Now Amber is a nice resort, the food wasn’t up to par, the opening times of the restaurants were odd (6:30 for dinner?! At a kids resort when some babies/kids go to bed at 7?!) The room maintence was lacking (there were decals missing off our wall and the smell of musty mold was extremely strong) The beach was terrible (which we expected from PV but it was really small, rocky,&  [... read more]dirty). The resort itself is quite beautiful and the pools are nice. All in all, we would not stay again.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Excellent family vacation

It was an excellent place for the entire family. Service was A1. Extremely polite staff. One issue, when my son lost his arm band , we were charged 500 pesos . I thought that was not called for. Good food and abundance of drinks . Room were clean and well maintained. Fridges were topped up every afternoon. Lot of places in walking distance otherwise take a CAB which is very cheap. Definitely will go back if going back to PV

Riu Vallarta: Fantastic Resort

Cons - Not enough public restrooms - Housekeeping came very late in the day, like 3:45 pm and later. Pros- Food was great, my favorite was most of the meat, pasta, ice cream and desserts. Drinks - Wide varity available, tasty. Pools - Good size, with 16 build in lounge chairs and at least 6 booths with table and seats. Ocean was fantastic, not to rough. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Good, but older

The hotel a little disappointing in quality, standards, size. It’s largely private residents. Mostly gone to Secrets so this Dreams was a bit of a let down. Porto fino restaurant was 12/10 excellent. We were upgraded to premium level and staff there excellent. Generally everything else, lobby, other restaurants, pool, pool service ok.

Riu Flamingos: Nice resort

We found this hotel had beautifully kept grounds. The food quality was good but not outstanding. Our room was clean however the maids never changed the glasses in our rooms and we did not see anyone with a cart to change the glasses. We marked the underside of our glasses on Day 2 and those glasses were never exchanged. All of our party got a cold/flu which we believe was due to the not changing of the glass wear. As well, the pool water needed to be cleaned up as there was clearly a lot of [... read more] biologicals in the water from urine and drinks being spilled. Our bathing suits smelled like urinals after getting out of the pool. It is a decent enough place to stay but be aware of the lack of hygiene in the glasses you are served as well as the pool water quality. The entertainment staff and wait staff are all OUTSTANDING!!!

Riu Palace Pacifico: Excellent Resort!!

This was a last minute decision to go to Puerto Vallarta due to the weather forcast the in the Mayan Riviera. It proved to be an excellent decision. This resort was awesome. Great food, service, rooms, views, pool and activites, beach, all great. Although it is the rainy season there too, we had 6 days of pure hot sun. Water is not clear and blue like the East Coast, but very warm, I mean really warm. Larger waves, but managable to get in and out of the water. Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing

Overall I'd rate this place a 5. Super clean . Very friendly. Food awesome. Pools always clean. Rooms very clean. I'd go back. Not to kid friendly more for adult. Oh and they don't use straws there for the environment so if you like straws bring some we will for next time. Night time entertain was great.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Fabulous resort!!

This resort was wonderful, the grounds were manicured beautifully. The buffet had a variety of food choices and was delicious 😋. The Japanese restaurant was entertaining and mouthwatering. The pool staff kepted you busy if you choose to participate otherwise sit back and enjoy the fun. The drinks and staff were good but very busy trying to keep up with the orders. Our view from our modern room was excellent and the cleaning staff both morning and night was more than we could ask for. I’m sure it was the appreciation of the small tips we left on the bed in the morning and before we went for dinner...(as it is different staff.) We tipped a dollar or two everywhere even though it was all inclusive and we are just average income earners ...and good god it’s hot there and they’re running around waiting on us in uniform..Wow...they don’t mind wet money either..lol Coffee bar was such a plus too! Ocean was to rough but enjoyed sitting on a chair reading, watching, listening to the ocean and having a cocktail, pedlars were not bothersome

Tropicana Hotel: Tropicana in PV, Mexico

The hotel is a good old faithful and not bad as a whole. Most of the staff are good except for the resception desk staff. They are bad! I had to come downstairs three times when we first arrived for a safe key. Then they had the never to ask me what room number after the third time! Same staff! They seemed very uninterested in helping all through the vacation when we had questions. And everyone in Mexico wants tips! Riu Vallarta: Great resort

We just returned from our second visit to Riu Vallarta. As the first time this trip was very good . The weather was great, service very good, rooms clean,food was even better than our first time there. We ate at the buffet most meals and always found the food very tasty. Grounds are kept up nicely always staff cleaning . Entertainment was a lot of fun during the day and the shows at night pretty good. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beautiful.resort

The property is beautiful the water and.mountains. The French restaurant was fantastic. We did star prestige well.worth the.money. Only negative was because it was low season they offered a deal for the locals to attend the resort at times.the pool was out of.control so service suffers and the lunch buffet service.was terrible was chaotic. Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Sunscape family vacation

We had a great family vacation (there were 10 of us all in junior suites). The area was amazing with the contrast of the ocean and the mountains. The thunderstorms at night was fun. Positives-the staff were great. -The view from our junior suite was amazing. -The food in the Italian restaurant and the Mexican restaurant was wonderful. -the activities were fun and kept our 5 children (ages 11 to almost 17) busy and entertained.  [... read more] -the location was good. You could walk to town/stores and it was close to the airport. -if the room would have storage, we would have loved it. There was lots of room and a separation from the sleep area and sitting area was great Negatives-there was nowhere to unpack (no dressers or shelves) although we were in a higher priced room -some of food in the buffet was marginal. The selection was limited. -the fridge was not restocked If you are on a budget this is a great option.

Riu Vallarta: Very lovely resort...but

The reosrt was lovely but needs some renovations. Our room had a mold smell and the sofa bed was broken. They did bring up cot and had the room cleaned throughly everyday. The amenities we great abd the staff was just wonderful.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Awesome vacation! Awesome Staff

Just returned form a week stay at this resort with my senior mom and my two children aged 2 years and 6 months. Had an amazing time. Beach is beautiful. Staff is amazing. Food is great, always something to eat. My kids had a blast riding around in little baby boats in the pool. There is tons of pools of all different depths.
