Riu Palace Jamaica: Amazing Resort!

Loved almost everything about this resort. The quaint property. Not too big. Not too small. The friendly staff. The not so over the top decor. Everything you needed. I would go again and certainly recommend.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Disappointing

Heard so many positive things about this hotel before we got there. We were disappointed as it has obviously gone down hill and showing it’s age. I wouldn’t say it’s a five star. Maybe 4 1/2. Usually at a five-star hotel there is staff to greet you when you arrive. You feel welcome. That didn’t happen. I did not find the staff to be friendly with the exception of one bartender, and one young lady handing out beach towels. Most appeared disinterested. It appeared to be a bit dirty an [... read more]d dark in some of the hallways and there was a musty smell in hallways and room. Spraying a scent to mask it doesn’t solve the problem. The food was good nothing memorable. The Butler was a nice touch. Room was nice except for the smell. They need to air them out in between bookings and while cleaning. Furniture on the balcony not conducive to conversation. The swing faces out and the couch faces towards the swing. My biggest issue was no hand held in shower just rain head. If you use the hand held in the bathtub water sprays all over. The friend I travelled with had been to the Iberostar in Mexico last year and loved it. This hotel needs an update and staff with enthusiasm. I would not recommend this hotel as there are too many resorts that I’ve been to that are better.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Nice resort

Hotel was very nice, but some restaurants were under renovation and were not able to eat there. Staff very friendly. Everything purchased was on the expensive side. It was clean, and the service from staff was very good.

Moon Palace Jamaica: Best family resort

Stayed here with my family of six, we all had the best vacation ever! So much to do for all ages. The location was awesome for our little Boys! They loved all the activities and the kids club. We would return again for sure!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Awesome food and drinks!

Modest accommodations, great food and drinks, friendly staff all made for a top vacation! perfect for drinkers - but not too spring breaky! awesome relaxed crowd. entertainment was so fun, 3 small beaches feel very private.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Amazing resort

Very beautiful hotel clean friendly food was amazing one concern we had it was very very damp wet in our rooms all our clothes are wet bedding was wet the Floors were soaking wet we got back home in we ended up very sick from all the dampness but other than that beautiful beautiful hotel

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: IRHS fantastic resort.

Not a single issue. Rooms outdated but spacious. Beds uncomfortable yet sleep worthy. Rooms cleaned twice a day - nice touch. Drinks, food, service, Iberstar workers 5 star. Beautiful gardens, pools and beach.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Wonderful resort

Loved this resort ! Staff was amazing , food great , very clean . Ocean view room was big with a huge balcony . Lots of chairs on the beach and by the pools . Would definitely return! Thank you Jairus Maus for another wonderful recommendation !!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not Luxury

For the cost I wouldn’t rate this resort very high, rooms are okay our roof leaked causing me to slip and fall our shower also leaked into the bathroom so floor was always wet. Rooms were damp, beware of “ocean view” we had a sliver of oven view and a whole lot of the vacant lot next door used for dumping garbage. There is no snack bar or ordering food at pool you always have to get dressed and go to a buffet which is only open certain times. Overall wouldn’t rate this resort as “luxury” mediocre food and drinks. Staff is pushy for tips and if you don’t you don’t get service.

Riu Ocho Rios: Great Resort

January 2020 - been there 2x and never disappointed... staff and food are excellent not to mention all the beautiful pools... the weather was not a 100% very very windy so unfortunately could not enjoy the beach with the strong waves and sand blowing... but that is something out of everyones control!

Dreams Rose Hall: Beautiful 5 star resort

The Hilton Rose Hall is a beautiful family, couple and friends resort. They have amazing staffs and everyone is so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and so was the entertainment at night. I have zero complains about this resort ; my friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Rose Hall.

Catalonia Montego Bay: A great vacation!

My wife & I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Holiday Inn in Mo Bay. The staff were great, the upgraded room we got was great, the nightly entertainment was great & the food was delicious too. Particularly enjoyed the savory flavors of the Jerk Hut. All in all we had a wonderful time eating, drinking & savoring sunshine at this property. There are definitely newer, flashier & more expensive JA resorts but part of the truly attractive charm of Mo Bay's Holiday Inn is the relaxing, unpretent [... read more]ious ambiance. Kudos to the management for giving the staff the latitude to create a warm & personable vacation environment. My only issue is that I really like to go for long ocean swims when I am on vacation & this resort did not have swimmer access to water that was deeper than a few feet. Great & very safe for families & children, but not ideal for someone who wants to get out into deeper water. To satisfy my athletic ocean interests I had to go to a different beach in Mo Bay.

Bad location,the beach is very Rocky not clean lots of leaf from the tree mor rocks that sand the bar drink quality is very poor The room is very clean The Nightlife has no much choice restaurants when you book They're no friendly

Royalton Blue Waters: Fantastic resort

This is my 15 th trip to this resort in 5 years, and it is the best holiday that we have every visit. There are always complaints from others about small issues, however we have not witnessed most of those issues. The Jamaican people are the friendliest, happiest and most accommodating people you will find. They go above and beyond to make everything good. A more detailed review of the areas.... If you are coming here then I would suggest you pay the extra dollars to stay at Blue Waters building 3. ALL rooms are ocean view and the building is much newer. The rooms are very large and comfortable with nice balconies to enjoy in the evening. The food is good with a wide variety in the buffet. They have a white night on Monday and pool party on Wednesday nights. The buffet is moved outside and is lots of fun. There are other restaurants as well. They are not all open every night but there is a sign posted at the buffet as to what restaurants are serving that evening. The Jade restaurant has a fantastic meal. It was very tasty. The Hunter steak house was good with a wide selection. The Gracie Italian was very good, also a good selection. Our lunches were generally chicken wings from the diamond club outdoor restaurant. They were very good. There is also the jerk hut which is very good. There are always lots of chairs to select from, both at poolside and on the beach. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The resort is a nice size and easily accessible. Both Blue Waters and White Sands share everything. The only difference within is if you have diamond club. We often get this as there are perks....they make reservations for you to all restaurants, even though you only need a reservation to the Zen; they have brought us a fruit tray at poolside mid morning; they have left wine in the room for us; run the jacuzzi tub and had it ready when we returned from the pool; answered any questions; even spent some time and playing cards (lol). They are very helpful if you ask. The Dips pool bar is a great place to hang out. The waiters are very good and bar drinks are very good....try the dirty banana!!!!! Well, that’s my review, I’m sitting at poolside now and want to get back to enjoying the sun, pool and drinks. Have a great day and don’t forget to book your next trip to the ROYALTON BLUE WATERS. Beautiful sea view excellent service friendly staff safe to go outside the resort during the day food available at all times lots of activities during the day and night family oriented no noise or trouble

Excellence Oyster Bay: Great week

Staff was ver friendly and accommodating. Bar staff became friends.no problem getting pool loungers and really big umbrellas! Food was okay but was never served more than warm and servers were not familiar with the menu

Great resort! Rooms were clean, room service was great, beach was nice, pools were clean, always lots of chairs available, would have made more sense for the adult activities like the disco and casino, to be closer to the adult side but hey what can yah do, golf carts available to give you a ride until 2am

Good time at a great resort. Staff were wonderful. Entertainment was good! Resort could use some updating and there are some frustrating things that could have made it better. No ice! If you needed ice you had to order it from room service which took an hour! Keys had to be programmed every other day! No blanket in the room...took 2 requests to get. There for 9 days and only allowed 4 ala carts. Buffet food was too repetitive...more variety needed.

Riu Montego Bay: Awesome place to enjoy

The wife and I had an amazing stay here, very nice rooms with mini bar restocked as you like, pool is huge and greatly designed, great entertainment, awesome beach.. definitely on everyone’s bucket list... thank you
