Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Comfortable

Hotel is definitely aging and needs lots of updating. That said, the staff is wonderful, everything is very clean, the beach is one of the best. It is easy to walk into the small town of Bucerias or up to the highway to catch a bus into puerto vallarta and the malecon. Food is good for breakfast and lunch but dinner is not great. Ala carte restaurants are good. Easy to walk into town to one of the many restaurants there.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Riu Palace Las Americas

The grounds are so well kept- absolutely beautiful. Staff are all so accommodating-they treat us great especially Juan who knew exactly what drinks we liked-Ernesto,Santi and Abu at the bars a special thankyou. A little disappointed in rooms stocking of towels and toilet paper otherwise rooms very clean. We love this hotel and will return in 2026.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice Resort

Hotel Staff were very friendly and accommodating, dated needs some tlc but otherwise we had a wonderful time. Lots of wildlife and good food. Beach is taken care of and the entertainment was very good.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Wonderful vacation

We had a great time exploring and enjoying this resort. The lush vegetation, animals,’pools and beach were amazing. Always spot at the beach or pool at any time of day and the white sand beach one of the nicest we have seen. The restaurant and buffet selections were plentiful and nice that you did not require reservations for them. The staff at the resort along with air Transat representatives were always ready and available. Thank you for creating a wonderful experience.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Did Not Disappoint

The Royalton Splash was a great resort. The check in was not, 2 hrs, to many buses not enough staff. Rooms are beautiful, view was great!. Lots of options for food, from ala carts to food trucks, to pizzeria, buffet. The buffet was great for breakfast, not so good for lunch or dinner. Sports bar was awesome, food and snacks good and atmosphere for Jays Game amazing. Pools and drinks were good. A lot of pools to choose from. We did put towels on chairs in morning as there wasn't much shade and we [... read more] wanted umbrellas, still had to keep moving for shade. The beach is not the best, sargassum, but was cleaned daily. Beach nice for walking, water not for swimming. Over all we had a great time, I would definitely recommend for families with children. Off season I think for adults is the best time. The staff were amazing on all accounts. Humberto at the sports bar was amazing, Carmilla at the Chill pool bar, and Armondo at Zen all to be commended on their service. Lots more servers to that I never got their names.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Amazing resort

Public areas, rooms, restaurants were all great. Room service was great particularly changing towels every day same as beds. Airconditioning was working well. Different restaurants gives you a chance to try different foods and was easy to book

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Barcelo Maya Colonial, Riviera Maya

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. Everything was just fine! Great customer service, room was spacious and clean, food was delicious. Thanks a lot to everyone. We would be happy to visit this resort again.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Amazing resort!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. Excellent service,excellent dining, beautiful grounds are kept impeccably clean. Ocean is beautiful. Staff made sure you were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend. Couldn't find one negative comment.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Fabulous Vacation

1st time. at this resort. Viva Maya Playa Del Carmen. Hotel grounds are beautiful. Checkin was dmooth. we were early. so we swam and ate. never went to the adults pool too far away. near the main entrance so. avoid that section of rooms unless you want to walk far to the beach. snack bar is by the main pools. and was ok burgers digs fries salads rice some meats etc. from the snack bar and main pool. only foot steps away from the beach. tons of shaded chairs not enough shaded areas around.  [... read more]the pool. buffet was good always. something. to eat. for vegetarian as well. 1 towel. per day, 3 alacarte. Mexican was the best, high energy environment. and best menu . rooms were clean and comfy with lots of hot water bring mosquito spray . would we go back. yup in a heartbeat ? ?

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Nice resort

This adult only resort is great for couples, not so much for groups. They have a policy that they cant seat more than 6 people together. Our group was 9 and they split us up all the time. We couldn't understand and after a lo g conversation with Joseph (concierge by the pool) we finally were able to be together on our last 2 days. Within our group we had a few concerns and issues in the rooms which took a few days to sort out. Things that could have been dealt with immediately and weren't. Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Beautiful resort

Wonderful resort.this was out second visit to this resort. Something for everyone. Tons of wild life beautiful beach huge pools. Great food. Amazing staff. Lots of people return to this resort and I see why. From the cleaning lady to the bar staff ti the tattoo artist on site! Just wow! Thank you so much for another amazing stay

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing place ?

Loved this resort. The wildlife is amazing! The food was fantastic, our only complaint was the portions were too big, hate wasting. A lot of walking but the beautiful grounds and nature made up for it. The beach was awesome for snorkeling, with some sandy areas to swim. I definitely recommend this resort, we will return!

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Great resort

The resort was amazing, and the service was great. The only thing we would ask or change is more direct entertainment for the children. I have been at resorts where there is a children's show prior to the nightly adult show. I may have missed the info but that was our challenge, was finding nightly entertainment for them. Hopefully, we missed it but other than that it was an amazing time.

Viva Azteca by Wyndham: Amazing resort!

My stay at Viva Azteca by Wyndham hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The rooms were spotless. The food was excellent — fresh tropical fruit, local specialties, and a variety of international dishes to choose from. The grounds are amazing, covered with greens and trees. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent price for service you get.

Food is good as is room service. Spa excellent but expensive. They would get more people if they would decrease the price by 30%. Trolley service to the beach is awful!! 2 will come 5 mins apart and then none for 20 mins. During the afternoon beach rush around 4:30 they put a small 8 person trolley and at 7pm they put a 16 person trolley, it should be the other way around. Timing of the trolleys to the other hotels is the same. A La Carte at Sian Ka'an excellent as is the service. Kudos to Edgar [... read more] and Silverio. Maid service also excellent. Night shows are pretty well the same ones for the last 3-4 years, time to change? Rock and crooner good and women mariachi band excellent, circus ok and the rest hit and miss. Lobster night is a joke. Only the upper part of the lobster which is emptied, seasoned and refilled into the shell, no lobster tail available. Good choice of deserts, chesses, fruits, cold cuts, sushi, and bread. Front desk staff very professional, ready to help you with your problems if any. Penthouse was nice and clean upon our arrival. When it rained hard water would come through the window and go underneath the bed and the shower would have a hard time to drain properly, so your feet would be in dirty water. Told the floor manger Mr. Vasquez about this and I have no doubt be the time You read this review it will be fixed.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Experience Real Mexico

I travelled solo during the second week of Oct/25 to Hyatt Vivid PDC. It was my first time in PDC - the drive from the airport is certainly worth it if you want to be steps away from 5th avenue and some really great food from what I've heard. I myself stayed on the resort, which was nice and gave very much Spanish vibes. Loved the hot tub in the room as well as the room service as it was nice to not have to go to dinner or to get breakfast. The food itself wasn't top tier, but it was alright - I [... read more] found things that I enjoyed and sticked with them (quesadillas and shrimp cocktail). This resort certainly isn't great for beach lovers as there's only about a couple feel of beach before the ocean. I wish there were more shade at the pool! All of the chairs had sun blockers attached and there were some umbrellas, but everyone struggled to find shade and the resort was no where near capacity. Jose at the pool was always prompt to come around every 15 mins or so to ask for drink orders. He was super appreciative of tips and recognized me, which was nice. I always find it interesting to see how solo travellers are treated - this trip I felt a little ignored, no welcome drink, was told to find my room on my own and my bag would be brought to me, delay on being served at restaurants, but in all, service was good and there were no issues. Private transportation was great. I felt 100% safe as a woman travelling alone and enjoyed my trip!

Riu Vallarta: Not bad

We where surprised how big the resort is Some of the staff are very nice And some still have to learn customer service Is my first time to come to the riu vallarta I normally. Go to riu jalisco Every year I go 2 times to the jalisco Thanks for you service

Riu Vallarta: Met my expectations

My daughter and I loved the easy and layout of the resort. The ocean view balcony room was not even am upgrade I chose but it was a lovely surprise. The beach was well maintained and felt safe in and around the hotel. I do prefer more fluid pools vs blocky choppy separated pools but this is my preference and the gym was a bit small to accommodate but I was happy it was functional. The food was great, no complaints really. the buffet was always fresh and restocked and had enough variety for us to enjoy and find some of our favorites. The Riu hotels are usually quite good, I would recommend.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: There is a chance that it will meet your expectations

The resort itself is beautiful and clean and our room was really nice and spacious. It is only advertised as all-inclusive resort but the number of things you need to pay extra for is ridiculous. If you want to have some shade, you need to pay for cabana ($200 per day). If no, there are no even umbrellas. Not what you expect from a high end resort (at least, that's how they are positioning themselves). It is advertised that this resort has 7 restaurants. The reality is disappointing. To eat [... read more] in one of them (Chef's plate) you will have to pay extra. The buffet is not open for dinner at all. Pelicanos was closed due to renovations. So, basically all of the time you have two restaurant open. The best one is Asiana, all others are mediocre. Food is greasy and smells burnt oil. During lunch time food is warm at best. All the time restaurant's manager tries to sell you something like themed dinner. I need to admit that Aromas (coffee shop) is amazing and ladies there are very friendly and nice. Loved this place! They tell that Dolma is a top choice restaurant but they serve they street food pretending it is something special. Right during checking in we were suggested to pay for room upgrade ($60 USD per night) to have ocean view. Not the room that facing directly to the ocean but the building a little bit closer to the ocean and to see it you will have still to go to the balcony and look to the right (or left depending on the room location) to see it. Not worth it. After that we made one and only offer to book day at the spa for $250 (including massage) for two people. I do not know if they fully understand how marketing works but for me to buy it, it should be cheaper than at home. Otherwise, I will go to the place and the therapist I am 100% sure in. No small toiletries (like Q-tips or cotton rounds) in the bathroom.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Absolutely love this resort!

This is my fourth or fifth time coming to this resort, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. From the rooms to the actual hotel itself, is amazing. All of the staff were super friendly and very helpful, Including staff in the background. such as groundskeepers and maids, Every morning they’d say good morning or hello, even if they were in the middle of something. The rooms and hotel area were always kept in immaculate condition, Never dirty always clean! If it rained waiters and [... read more] waitresses were out wiping down all the chairs and tables so that you could sit down outside. Tables in the buffet were always clean and staff were very attentive. Both check-in and checkout were super easy, no fuss no muss and we were able to get settled in our room within half an hour of being at the resort. The pool area was always clean and well supervised, the entertainment Staff were amazing. This resort has so many things for you to do with your family or as a solo person. Whether it be around the pool or in the theater, if you have kids, they will never get bored. I have nothing but amazing things to say and I recommend this resort 100%.
