Viva Maya by Wyndham: Had a great time

Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Hotel is a bit dated but we knew that going in. Beach was great. Pools were clean but maybe a bit small for the amount of people staying at this resort. Food was not my favourite for Mexico but we always found something. Staff work hard and were nothing but pleasant and polite. Rooms are small but the bathrooms in the rooms were a great layout. We truly did enjoy our stay

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Dreams jade resort and spa visit

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Family of 5: we had a good time.

I stayed for one week with my husband, our 5-year-old, and our twin 2-year-olds. Overall, the hotel staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure the kids enjoyed themselves, and the playroom was a big hit with all three. There’s also a small, shallow pool that felt safe for the little ones. The larger pools are definitely better suited for older children, so I’d recommend bringing proper floaties if you’re planning to let younger kids in. Our room was s [... read more]pacious and clean, but housekeeping came at unpredictable times. Some days they showed up after 2 p.m., while other days they came around 10 a.m. That said, when my daughter had an accident in bed, staff responded right away, changed everything promptly, and even added protective mats to prevent it from happening again. Food was an area where we struggled a bit as a vegetarian family of five. Options for vegetarians were quite limited, especially at the buffet. The buffet also closes daily between 11:30 and 1:00, which made it tricky to line up meals with nap schedules. During that gap, the only option is The Cactus, which mainly offers prepackaged sandwiches (mostly with meat), plus some fruits, veggies, and desserts. The à la carte restaurants had excellent staff, and while the vegetarian choices were again slim, they were very accommodating. They prepared buttered pasta with cheese for my kids quickly so they weren’t sitting around hungry, which I really appreciated. My biggest frustration, though, was with the entertainment schedule. For a family-oriented hotel, the children’s shows starting at 9 p.m. (and running until 9:45) felt way too late. By that time, my little ones were beyond tired, and it made it impossible for them to really enjoy the evening activities. Overall, the service was wonderful, and the hotel definitely tries to create a family-friendly environment. But the inconsistent housekeeping, limited vegetarian options, and especially the very late show times left my kids unable to enjoy the full experience.

This hotel is great for families but not for smokers,were your alowed to smoke is in parking lot and taxis back up almost to were your smoking and they leave their cars idling,not good,there’s no coffee place were you can smoke ither.than that staff are very friendly maids are great all in all great family friendly place food lots of variety!!I give this place 8 stars out of 10

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Incredible Resort

This resort is absolutely stunning! We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room, the overall maintenance and care of the grounds and the warm and inviting staff. The food was delicious, restaurants were alway busy. The drinks were well made too. We truly have nothing bad to report!

The Reef 28 Playa del Carmen: Very Clean Resort

The Reef 28 was a great stay. All the staff made the stay feel very comfortable. I found the hotel very clean. Location of the hotel was perfect. A block to 5th ave. For all inclusive, food and drinks were decent. But if you pay a little extra for stuff on the premium menu, they were awesome. For the *Reef Playacar* (other resort) - We did pay $15USD for all day travel between the 2 other resort. We went to the Playacar location because we heard the beach was awesome. It was great although t [... read more]here was some dark spots from the Sargassum seaweed, you could walk past it to the beautiful tropical coloured water. It was a beautiful resort but there was no staff to help us at the beach or pool. The food bar had barely any food but fries and terrible nachos. They ran out of towels. I feel like the lobby was overstaffed and the rest of the resort was understaff. The drinks were terrible. And because of this, I won’t recommend this place. I’ve never been to an all inclusive resort and have no staff seen at the pool or beach areas. Other than that , Their Reef 28 location, I would highly recommend. Don’t go to the other resorts, its not worth it.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Wonderful vacation spot

Riu palace costa mujeres. This was our third trip here and it didn’t disappoint. Service at meal times , the wait staff went out of their way to seat us quickly at all meals. Food didn’t disappoint. The pools were great fun, beach was the best. Could always find a shaded spot to sit. We will be back for sure.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful property

Good food and entertainment, very good for kids but service can be a little better. Right from check in to cleaning service the service is fair, not outstanding I would say. But overall satisfied with their service.

Riu Flamingos: Best vacation

Been there during Christmas 2024 - one of the best trip i ever had. Staff very good, hotel a bit dated but clean and good condition. I love the layout of hotel, not too big, everything just walking distance.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Incredible resort

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Amazing Resort

The grounds were exceptional and well kept. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were top notch especially around the pool area. Overall the trip was excellent and I would recommend to anyone.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fabulous resort!

This was my fourth time here. They have beautiful and well-maintained grounds, as well as friendly and attentive staff, and a great food selection. Overall a wonderful resort with lots to see and do. I highly recommend this resort for both families and anybody just looking to have a great time.

Riu Latino: Incredible resort!!

This resort offered everything that we expected and more. Upon arrival the roadway was clean The front entrance was spotless floor shiny just an overall extremely clean entranceway into a fabulous lobby, where we were greeted with staff who served us mimosas as we waited to check in to our room. The front desk staff had asked us if we were here for a special occasion as we indicated for our anniversary, and when we got to our room, there was a bottle of sparkling champagne with a happy anniversa [... read more]ry note attached to it with our names on it. The room was absolutely incredible. We have never experienced such a beautiful modern clean well laid out room there was so much room and just for two people we felt like we had an entire banquet hall to ourselves. The balcony looked over partial ocean view with a forest next to us which gave us the best of both peaceful, relaxing, quiet atmosphere. The food was 10 out of 10 there is not one piece of food that we did not eat off of our plates. The quality of the food and the selection was endless. The staff were incredible always on top of things. The pool, the beach the water were amazing as well really we had no complaints about this place at all to sum this up. We will definitely be coming back to this resort as it left an incredible experience and a five out of five star rating for us. Special thanks to the staff who work tirelessly every single day to make our experience worthwhile by maintaining the resort cleaning our rooms even the public bathrooms were absolutely spotless. Emphasize so much on cleanliness that it was almost hard to believe that anything was ever dirty in the first place. If you are considering on going to the Riu Latino we highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: 8/10

Really liked this hotel. It is definitely a family resort though I went with my fiancé and we wanted to relax, but also have a good time and I guess it was our fault for booking a family resort because there were a lot of kids and young couples with kids, which is why it was kind of dead at night past 11 PM Ish, regardless of that the resort itself was absolutely amazing. Ocean Coral and Turquesa: The Ocean Coral and Turquesa is a serious contender

The Ocean Coral and Turquesa hotel is definitely a resort to consider for your next vacation. The resort is located close to Puerto Morelos and offers many positive amenities for adults and families alike. There is a wide variety of room categories, numerous pools, multiple dining options and many activities, including bowling. The restaurants, bathrooms and common areas are all maintained to a very high standard with a focus on safe food handling practices and sanitation. The varie [... read more]ty, quality and freshness of food offerings, was also to a high standard. Route 66 served amazing ribs, brisket and burgers, to name a few. Mike's coffee had a large array of coffees, desserts and sandwiches in a nicely decorated setting, reminiscent of a Starbucks. The ice-cream shop was a nice treat after dinner. The ala carte's included, Japanese, Italian, Seafood and Brazilian options. The beef filet at the Italian requires honourable mention, for it's tenderness. The buffet always offered a large variety of Mexican and American food options. All staff encountered were friendly and engaging. The evening shows, including Michael Jackson, were professional and promptly started at 9PM and ended at 9.45PM. The rooms were spacious with excellent A/C, TV, fridge and no mold or dampness either. Our airport transfers were organized and provided by Mercedes transporters Uber will also come to the resort, as an option to taxis. Puerto Morelos was less than $190 MXN. The Ocean Coral and Turquesa exceeded all our expectations.

Riu Latino: Great resort!

I recently stayed at this resort solo and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The entire trip was relaxing and fun from start to finish. The food was delicious—especially the buffets, which offered a great variety and were always fresh and well-prepared. Riu Palace Baja California: Just what we needed!

The only downfall of the resort for us was having to go to the family resort next door for activities. We chose adults only and it was promoted that there were white nights, jungle nights etc which we expected to be at our location. Other than that food was fabulous, Sofia (Italian) and Krystal (fusion) were the fave spots for dinner! Staff were great, resort was very clean and we felt very safe in all local areas. Would highly recommend and would definitly return!

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Relax and Unwind

This is and will remain one of my most favorite places to stay. Akumal is beautiful and this resort is the perfect spot if your not looking for the hustle and bustle of the larger chains. No disco, none of those shows just pure beauty, friendly amazing staff, great food and the most beautiful grounds. This is a mature resort.
