Temptation Resort & Spa: Always a good time!

Temptations is the play ground for adults and it lives up to that. No one under 21 and a sexy fun adult vibe. The play makers during the day keep the party going at the sexy pool or you can choose to chill on the beach or by the quiet pool. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and only 2 require a reservation. We have visited this resort 5 times and we meet so many amazing people. Everyone you meet are repeat visitors or first timers that say "we are definitely coming back". No other resort seem [... read more]s to keep the fun going day and night like this resort. At night they have an open air bar that has a great show the last about 45 minutes the it turns into a party place. There is also night time food and they stay open as long as you want to party. They also have a spa, water sports and a coffee shop. We have stayed in a garden view, ocean vie and this last time in Bash tower. Rooms are clean, beds comfy and black out drapes to help you sleep in if you stayed up late!

NYX Hotel Cancun: Another great vacation!

This was our third visit to NYX after being recommended by our Tripcentral advisor Judith. Another great relaxation vacation. If you are looking for a low key Cancun vacation and a smaller resort with great staff, an adult oriented international clientele and good food drink, and hospitality look no further. If you are looking for a party or a family vacation with entertainment for the kiddies look elsewhere.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Amazing resort

I've recently returned from Iberostar Prestige Cancun (room 4511). This was my 8th time to Cancun and by far my favourite hotel. Check-in was a breeze - Ana was extremely friendly and welcoming. Great way to start our trip. We stayed on the prestige side and it was absolutely stunning. We had an ocean front jr suite – brand new room with nice size balcony including a jacuzzi. The mini fridge and towels were always stocked with beer, pop, juice and water. The beds were actually very comfortable. The room had Bluetooth surround sound so super easy to play music from my phone. Oh and robes in the closet!!! Loved that especially after a day at the pool. The pools were clean, great views of the beach and nice temperature. Always a chair/sunbed available in the sun or shade. Javier by the pool was fantastic - so friendly, chatty and welcoming everyday. The pool waitress service around the pool was great. We never had to wait long for a server to bring us a drink. Alcohol was top-shelf - grey goose was my vodka choice. On the prestige side you don't need a towel card - you just walk-up and pick up as many towels as you like. And at the end of the day they take the towels away for you. We enjoyed that they had nice pool lounge music - with no one yelling on a microphone. It almost had a Thompson hotel Beverly Hills rooftop feel. They also had floating yoga in the pool which was allot of fun. The beach is gorgeous, well kept and free of seaweed. I'm not a foodie but the food on the prestige side was delicious. The breakfast restaurant had a great view of the pool/beach with a full breakfast even caviar. At lunch they had great bbq selections with grilled lobster tails. YUM. If you want to stay in the sun they can bring you a menu and order lunch or snacks right to your pool chair. The Japanese restaurant was also very good. We emailed ahead of time to book a reservation. We only went to one of the entertainment shows – which was good. The entertainment staff will also take groups out to different bars in Cancun at night and provide transportation. We had complimentary use of the spa wet area – which we took advantage of one morning when it was a bit overcast. Other than that one morning the weather was perfect. Sunny and hot everyday. The hotel does not use single use plastic (i.e straws, plastic cups etc). I appreciate the environmental concern. Our room had large glass bottles of water - restocked daily. They also have an APP that you can download and it tells you all the daily activities – no need for printing. Overall the hotel was superb, friendly staff, beautiful grounds and a really fun vibe. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I will 100% return.

NYX Hotel Cancun: A little piece of Heaven

We had a spectacular time at this quaint and hospitable resort. The food and beach were amazing. A new restaurant was just wrapping up construction while we were there so we’ll be excited to go back and try it. Most of the rooms have been upgraded. I recommend staying in one of those if possible. The older ones like we stayed in didn’t have the best a/c, but other than that everything was awesome. Grand Oasis Cancun: Ha grand o

The trip was very good overall. A lot of stuff has changed. I really do think mtv saved the trip for how much I paid. Couple days our room never got cleaned. Food was pretty good depending where you went.service was really good. Couple swim up bars were closed only 1 swim up bar was open and very packed. Thank you! Trip to Cuba would be awesome!

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Very nice resort with lots of potential

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres from March 12-19, 2019 with our two kids (5 and 7) and had a wonderful time. The resort is brand new, beautiful, clean and has modern amenities. The rooms are large, well equipped and no need to worry about a room key as your access wristband serves as your key. There is reliable wifi throughout the resort, which can be both a positive and a negative for obvious reasons. The resort is quite large, so depending on your room location, cer [... read more]tain areas of the resort can require a 5-10 min walk. We were happy to walk, but others should be aware there is both a cart path and a canal transport to move around the resort if needed and you are willing to wait for an available ride. The grounds are well-maintained and will be even more impressive as they further develop. For those not staying at TRS or in the Family Selection section, there is access to 2 pools and the splash pad, Our kids loved them all, with lots of activities at the main pool and the beach pool is particularly impressive looking with beach access nearby. Service was wonderful at all of the pools, with friendly staff always available. There are restricted access areas such as the pool on the TRS (adults only) side of the resort, the Family Selection pool and the travel club members pool - this is unfortunately the most visually appealing pool and the one you will see featured most prominently in photos of the resort. It would be preferred if these areas were open to all guests, but as long as you are aware of the restrictions when purchasing your package, it is not an issue as there are lots of other great areas on the resort. There was no shortage of seating near the pools, but the staff is also good at collecting towels to prevent guests from reserving seats while they are not actually at the pool areas. The beach area is excellent, with the resort having left the natural growth on the beach intact. The water is clear, with no red flag days for our entire visit. The water does get deep fairly quickly, so parents should be aware of this. Costa Mujeres is expanding rapidly, so you can see several resorts under construction in the distance, but it is still quite beautiful and very safe to take a long walk down the beach past the other resorts and undeveloped areas. There is bar service on the beach, but during our stay it was generally under-served so it is advisable to grab towels and drinks on the way to the beach. The food was generally very good during our stay, with us eating at the main buffet for breakfasts, the beach restaurant for lunches and the a la carte restaurants for dinner each night. All a la carte restaurants as well as the coffee shop/cake bar, sports bar, sky bar and theatre are located in the "village" area, which is definitely a highlight of the resort. The village area is located at the front of the resort and combines a cobblestone street, open air patios, restaurants and the theatre to create a hub of activity. During our stay, we understood the resort was running at 75% capacity and it was clear they were still learning their way in the restaurants as they were staffed accordingly. The food was generally very good, with the steakhouse, thai and mexican restaurants being our favourites. No reservations are required for the restaurants (with the only exception being the teppanyaki bar), so there was a wait for tables in some cases of up to 45 min. There was no shortage of space at the bar during the wait, but in some cases up to 1/3 of the tables were empty despite the wait list. This will undoubtedly improve over time, but people should be aware of this as the resort is still in its beginnings. In all instances, staff were polite and accommodating throughout the resort. There were lots of options for entertainment, with activities at the pools, games areas, theatre shows and beach shows in the evening (fire show, pirate show). Overall, we were very satisfied with our trip to Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. There are areas where the resort is still working things out, but that is also reflected in the pricing as compared to similar established 5 star resorts in the area. We would definitely consider returning in the future and would recommend this hotel to others.

Sandos Cancun: Very good Resort

Hotel was excellent,staff as well,excellent food ,rooms are very good and clean,can’t complain about anything about Sandos...pool staff great Israel,Danielle,Fillippe,Elisabeth,the cooks all bar staff ,especially Stephen at the Japanese restaurant

Sandos Cancun: Small and attentive resort

This is the first review I've written in ten years going south, so it's short & to the point, the way I like them. Pros: Nice property, nice rooms, great staff, really good restaurants, (no reservation, no issues) Cons: Over-shadowed by the monstrosity next door (Secrets) leaves the pool area covered in shade at 2:30 PM daily, (move to beach). Have to request a mini bar re-fill. A BIG issue for me, was the constant hotel push to get us to come to a sales pitch to upgrade to their "member le [... read more]vel" pkg.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great view BAD FOOD

Room was updated and quite nice. Beds were new. Fridge and AC actually worked. Staff was great. Views were breathtaking. Pools and surrounding area needed to be cleaned more than once a week! With how nice this place was it's a shame how crazy the food actually was. Hard to believe but it was a minus 10 in comparison to Cuba. Not a joke at all. I'm not a picky eater at all but ended up living on break fries and cereal for 10 days.

Grand Park Royal Cancun: Great resort

Just returned from a couples trip. Very clean grounds and rooms. Good food and service. Beautiful beach but rough water and very windy. Needs more seats in the shade poolside and at the beach. Steak dinner for an extra cost is worth every penny.

Riu Dunamar: Second Here , love ❤️ it!

We loved returning to Riu Dunamar It was nice seeing many of the staff that were still working there: Rene pool bar is always happy to serve great drinks with a smile Max is always strolling around to party pool with his deink cart and he is simply the best! Five pools and a waterpark , what more can you ask for?! Nightclub on site is great! Entertainment is always good 😊 This resort is secluded and not on the strip but thats the best part for us. If you are going on excursion get your food out of bar fridges prepped in to go containers. Property is clean, A/C works and riu's pretty much look the same all around the world. Shopping on site , you can negotiate a bit off. Worse they can say is no. If ever theres a major problem you can talk to management and they are always willing to rectify the situation. If you go , visit isla mujeres by taxi or rental car. Eat some street tacos, go to MiA resort beach and bring a snorkel. Visit the local shops there instead of tourist area stores and help locals. Go early and spend the day its worth it!! See you again next time !!!

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!

The resort is brand new and the property and rooms are beautiful. We had an ocean front loft suite and absolutely loved it. There were a few kinks, our roof sprung an air conditioning leak two times resulting in a small flood each time. But repair each time was very quick and caused minimal inconvenience. The food was great and there was lots to choose from. The beach is gorgeous and offers great swimming. We stayed in family selection and enjoyed being close to the beach, having a restaur [... read more]ant in our building, the beach restaurant for lunch right next door, a family selection pool with a great restaurant as well. The boats to get around in were lovely. We had some adult time at the TRS pool when the kids checked out the kids club which was also beautiful. The beachfront pool was also amazing. My only complaint was that it was tough to figure out who to talk to when trying to sort reservations and getting bottles of wine. We met our family host at check in and then couldn’t figure out how to talk to the right person after that. We would go to the front desk at FS and were told they would leave a note but that rarely worked. It would be highly recommend to make this process much easier. We also found the large buffet La Isla disappointing with few options and only dined there once. All in all we had an incredible week and left feeling super relaxed!

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Best. Resort. Ever!

Our second time and loved it even more. Truly a 10 out of 10. Great service, food, and heated pools. Also, every night has terrific entertainment, including a theatre with amazing shows (always plenty of very comfortable seating) and a large outdoor area with more entertainment before and after the main show.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Absolutely Beautiful

Overall my experience at the Grand Oasis was one for the books. The resort itself was in beautiful condition and very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and also very accommodating although there were only a small few able to speak English. I would recommend this resort mainly to younger people or families with kids as both seem to be the audiences most catered to. 8/10 rating after my first experience in Mexico, and I know I’d definitely go back if I ever got the chance!

Moon Palace Cancun: Amazing Resort!

I can not say enough about The Moon Palace, Sunrise Resort. This place is amazing. All the staff are so kind, helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent. The entertainment team were fabulous. This place catered to children and adults. I love the fact that our bracelets were our door keys. The list could go on & on. I highly recommend this resort.

Riu Cancun: average resort

Beach is the best part - it is spectacular. Pools were great also. Hot tub was cold, lol. Hit and miss with service. Lobby bar has the best service. Entertainment average If you like going into the city - it is a perfect location - walking to most clubs. Elevators were always malfunctioning and breaking down. We were on the 14th floor - I didn't mind too much because I like the exercise. Only liked the Italian restaurant. Japanese and Steak house - not so good. Buffet was a [... read more]verage. Been to Mexico 18 times, and there are much better resorts to choose.

TRS Coral: TRS Coral

I had a fantastic relaxing vacation at this resort! I cannot say enough about the service from Israel at the pool. Wow, he was amazingly on it....from the best drinks I ever had at a resort, exactly when we were just ready for them, to bringing fresh fruit and the best guac, salsa and chips! The beach was gorgeous and this resort had soft fine sand, the least seaweed, and the water was a tropical tourquise. The best I've seen in Mexico. They even have a little dolphin area at the end of this strip of beach that we stumbled on the last day. The restaurants were very nice... We loved Helios... Awesome service, and food. I'm not a seafood lover but the grilled bass was amazing and I loved the fillet mignon. The French restaurant French onion soup was awesome and my friend loved their surf and turf. The steak was a different cut than I was used to and the lamb had a unique flavor that I didn't love, as I really like rosemary thyme flavored lamb and mint sauce. Totally loved the French restaurant's vibe though with the French music, long curtains and French provincial dishes. The rooms are amazing. I especially loved the loft suite with the bar, and modern decor. The beds were comfortable and it was really nice to have options of pillow loft. The outside balcony overlooked the pool and was really nice to eat breakfast on as you could hear the tranquil music in the morning. The single rooms are very nice...still modern and beautiful, but just not as outstanding as the loft. The balcony chairs need pillows to be comfortable. The opposite side in building 1, not overlooking the pool was really quiet and I could see the ocean. It was so nice to wake up to! All the people we met on the resort were super nice. The spa was awesome. I loved the variety of the rooms and the salt and snow rooms were cool unique touches! I heard positive things about their massages, as well! We wanted a relaxing vacation and this was it. We're all going to go back. I think in a few more months they'll have all the food down even more as well! I actually really liked that this resort had it's own osmosis water filtration system, so the water was safe to use. You also, have to see the Chic show when you go. It's awesome. Amazing singers and dancers! There wasn't a ton of night life, but they did have a beach party, nightly live music and dancing in the courtyard. There's also a little shopping mall area and a great bar where you can play pool and foosball. They had little boats and carts to help make travel easy around the resort as well. We had a wonderful vacation!

Riu Cancun: Great resort - clean - nice room

Went on spring break - March 9 - 16, good options for a more upbeat environment but also areas with more relaxing pools/beach. Good food with many buffet options at all times of day. Disco was mediocre but a good place to hangout at the bar at night if you are not going into town. Wide stretch of beach with nice sand. Overall clean resort - bathrooms near the pool bar could use some additional attention.

Grand Oasis Sens: Nice resort

Pools, grounds, areas are beautiful. Nice people, good service. Good entertainment. Problem with the check in. It took 5 hrs before we have our room. Nice stay in general. ..... .............. ................ . ....

Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun: Amazing resort!

Best breakfast and lunch options of any resort we have frequented. Good selection of ala carte dinner options ( steak and Italian are a favourite). Beautiful beach, clean rooms. Have stayed there 3 times we liked it so much. Every visit we noticed upgrades to resort.
