Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort

I had the pleasure of spending a week of vacation time at this amazing resort. I work in a high stress field and needed a break. Iberostar Laguna Azul was all I could have hoped for and more. The incredible facility and beach combined with an amazing staff made our stay memorable for years to come. We had the pleasure of visiting Playa Luxury Cayo Guillermo where we stayed in one of the main building with Oceanview, in mid March 2025. The stunning views of crystal-clear waters and the peaceful ambiance made for an unforgettable experience. One of the unexpected highlights of our trip was how secluded and peaceful the resort felt. If you are a lobster lover you can have it at lunch and dinner everyday. In the package were included 50min massage at an amazing Eden SPA. The staff was amazing and always smiling and ready to help. We ask for Spanish lessons and we got it. The surroundings were well maintained and we didn't see any mosquitoes. In the disco at night you can ask for any kind of music and lurn latino dances as well. Playa Luxury Cayo Guillermo is a stunning destination that offers breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and genuine hospitality. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this resort to those looking for a serene, picturesque getaway with a private feel.

Melia Varadero: Fabulous Resort

Hotel room was wonderful, the food was plentiful and very good, room service was great. Had a massage and it was super and really affordable. There was no communication as to what was going on at the resort for example we did not know about Cuba Day and others things.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: No bread

Hotel was really nice and service was great. But having no bread on a trip really sucks. We had bread the first two days and the first day we arrived at 11pm. After lunch on day two there was no more bread and anything good went really fast like yogurt. Getting. Cabana beside the pool required getting up at 5:00am to throw a towel down on one of the and going to the beach to save some spots there as well .

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Easy and relaxing

Memories Flaminco beach resort 1. The people are friendly, helpful, and connecting. 2. The food was very good. I enjoyed the variety and they still make fresh fruit smoothies. 3. The entertainment l enjoyed and each night it got better and better. Great team 4. They are ready to respond to any needs that may come up. 5. The gardeners deserve respect and appreciation. 6. Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Great resort overall

The resort was great nice and clean, food and drinks great also. The staff was ok some very friendly others very rude and treated you like a burden at times. The entertainment was pretty good, similar all week

Playa Pesquero: Fantastic resort!

We wanted to visit this resort for a long time and finally it happened in March 2025. We did not regret it, this is definitely one of the most interesting and most beautiful resorts in Cuba. The only complaint goes to the rooms, which would need to be renovated and the sleeping mattresses replaced. Also, the air conditioners feel damp and in some rooms they don't work. What I have to emphasize is the extraordinary food and the effort of the chefs and staff to please us despite all the difficulties and shortages that Cuba is facing. Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Great hotel...beach pool and service excellent

Hotel staff go out of there way to help and make sure everything is fine. Rooms are clean and new...beds are great..pillows are one large body pillow which is not ideal... small suggestion to switch them would be helpful when couples are sleeping together and toss turn etc. Food is decent...it's Cuba so limit options but you should know that going in... they had no flower the week we were here so no bread or pizza. Lots of fries and other items to fill picky eaters. I would recommend bug spray  [... read more]as noseeums (spl?) Are bad some of group got eaten alive on legs etc. Great hotel great price would recommend and hopefully small changes could make this a hidden gem!

Hotel was beautiful and grounds well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good and had a variety. Beach beautiful and lots of chairs available. Breakfast by the beach with diamond club was great, saw a dolphin

Love this resort! We had an amazing week. This is my second time here. Entertainment, people, food was awesome. Beach had lots of chairs and umbrellas. Ocean was beautiful! A le carte Japanese restaurant was delicious we went twice. The International restaurant was delicious too!

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Great people work here!

The workers at this resort were amazing! From the beach, snack bar, pool, buffet, lobby bar, front desk, gardeners and A La cart all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our vacation a memorable one. The resort is a bit dated but they were working on some updates when we were there. The beach made it all worth it!

Valentin Cayo Cruz: Great Getaway for a couple of weeks

The campus was excellent: multiple horizon pools. The flora were amazing: variety +++ and very well manicured. The food varied from adequate to good. Nothing exceptional. Supper entertainment, especially the saxaphonist was welcome. The room was spacious and clean; oceanview was marvelous. Staff didn't appear to be particularly happy or co-operative most of the time except for the gardeners and the room waitress. Language barriers ++. Beach was barely runable due to high waves and crowds from adjoining resorts. Nevertheless, the surrounding roads were accessible and essentially traffic-free.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Mixed Feelings

We spent the March Break at Grand Aston (2 kids, 2 adults). I have mixed feelings about our experience. The resort itself was new, clean, well laid out, and safe. The beach was spectacular and exactly what I had hoped for for Cuba. Then there’s the food and alcohol. The 3 buffets were the same the entire week, and we ran out of bread 4 days in. I followed the Facebook page so I was prepared for shortages and came prepared. We brought ketchup, peanut butter, all the snacks, and yet we still str [... read more]uggled. Alcohol wise, for an all inclusive, I was shocked at the limited variety of booze and mix. Every bar seemed to run out of something (or everything and close) by early afternoon, and then you’d have to walk all the way to the lobby. Mix consisted of fruit juices, orange pop, coke (only sometimes), tonic, and some powders for strawberry daquaries and pina coladas (which they rarely made for us). A lot of people have written about how great the bar tenders and staff are but that wasn’t our experience the entire time. The cleaners, gardeners, lobby bar, salon, beach bar, and activity coordinators were amazing! But the snack bar, pizza, poutine and chicken griller were less than friendly. They were selective with who they gave food to and when (maybe based on higher tips maybe?), often saying they had no food and then 1 minute later they’d give it to someone else, and it was like pulling teeth to get a drink. Then there’s the chairs… I have never been more annoyed in my life. For us, it didn’t matter what time we went to “reserve” a chair, they were all taken. The air Canada rep, the hotel staff, and the sign posted said that people cannot reserve chairs but every single morning we would get to the beach or pool and there was not a single chair left. I had skin cancer and can’t be in the sun, and I have 2 little kids, and there was nowhere to sit ever. We had to pay workers to get chairs a couple days, which is ridiculous, and then eventually we just gave up. Sometimes we would get lucky and someone would leave and we’d find some chairs. Don’t get me wrong, I did my research and I knew what I was getting into. But, for a 5-star brand new resort, I was left feeling kind of “meh” about the whole experience. I definitely would not go back but I am thankful for the memories, the beach, and the staff who were so kind and welcoming.

Sanctuary Cayo Largo: Very nice and friendly resort

Had a wonderful stay at this resort. all expectations of the resort were met. would go again. grounds were clean . Would go again for sure. what made this place so special is the staff and the ability to have access to all other resorts if needed. We stayed 90% of our stay at sanctutuary and had a great time. ?❤️

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Great Getaway

Cute hotel which is needing a little fixing here and there but that won’t discourage you to stay there. Food is flavourful and drinks plentiful. Beach waters are beautiful indeed but may need to walk a minute or two to find solitude as it’s busy and the chairs/loungers are always full or broken. Pools are clean and the resort is always well kept. Only negative thing was waiting an extremely long time for my room. Just remember they do run out of food and drink items as they don’t have the easy access like other country resorts. Give it a try.

Resonance Musique Varadero: Okay

The hotel is over rated. 3 out 5 Beaches Beautiful Food is okay, room okay, entertainment is not so good. Music is loud and no variety….. all Techno! Service is very slow.Recommend researching other all adult inclusive resorts.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Beautiful beach…but!!

This can be a wonderful place to go to, but we felt that it lacked personnel. The beach was a 5 star!! The rooms are very nice…but the towels need to be replaced, so does the pool chairs and umbrellas. Not enough staff on all levels!!! We have been to other Coral resorts, but would not return to this one.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Second time at Costa Verde

Hello Trip Central I sent the following message to Jenn Black and I got nowhere: We had an hour blackout, plug in room blew out fuses, food in all restaurants were all the same menu and variety of food in Buffett was very limited. I paid extra to be in an ocean view room and I was disappointed. Barely see the ocean mostly see bush. WiFi is very bad and door key magnet erased if close to cell. Twice I had a long walk to reception to get new code. I am over 70 and had no way to get the golf  [... read more]cart. Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Great time. Amazing staff. Clean.

This resort was clean, friendly, welcoming and an excellent choice. The staff was helpful and made our stay fun. Our rooms were clean and the beach was lovely. We were taken care of. I liked that there were elevators. Showers were always hot. Pool bar waiters were Unreal. Damien was waiter in main lobby and so nice. Loved the coffee and wine was good.
