Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Mixed feelings

Beautiful grounds!!!! Food was ok but my fiancé got food poisoning and it was really awful.. service is slow but to be expected I guess for a new hotel tiny beach too.. we stayed in the basic room and we were happy with it

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Wonderful Family Vacarion

This resort is a force to be reckoned with! It has the most beautiful beach and my son simply adored the kids club - he is 4. Food was very good and the buffet was always filling. Sure, sometimes they ran out of stuff the later you arrived, but there was always food. The restaurants were nice, but the steakhouse was quite impressive. We stayed in a presidential one bedroom diamond club suite. Premium liquor, and alright wine. The evening entertainment needs a boost. I'm sure they will get there.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Not for those seeking adults only

Great beach and the restaurants are good if you can stand screaming kids. Room service not good we had to call for towels almost daily. The morning we left we ordered breakfast from room service it never came, we called for the bell boy but thirty minutes later we had to struggle with our own suit case up three floors to the lobby with my wife having a broken arm. This was our second visit to this resort but standards have really slipped in six months so we will be looking elsewhere in future.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Awesome Resort

We arrived 3 weeks after they opened and considering staff was still learning, we had a Fantastic time. The resort has so much to offer something for everyone. The food preparation at the Buffet was top notch. So many choices for everyone. The restaurants on site had fantastic food. Service in the restaurants was slow but hey you're in Jamaica and everything is a bit slower. They have a Sports bar that becomes a disco later in the night. They had non-motorized paddle boots, standup boogie boards, single or double kayaks and tons of life jackets. The beach was the best, clean and you could walk out quite far. Lots of lifeguards and security around too. We had an oceanfront room with a king sized bed. In room fridge was well stocked. Hubby loved the jacuzzi tub! We knew we were in for a great time when we arrived and saw the escalator!!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great week away at the Royalton!!!

Stayed at the Hideaway section of the Royalton. Great service and food, several a la cart options and no reservations required with no limit restrictions. Beautiful beach but unfortunately there was quite a bit of seaweed but resort did their best to keep the shore line clean. Ocean water beyond their control. Beautiful rooms and well maintained resort.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Beautiful family resort

This is a five star all the way. Gorgeous beach, lovely staff, gourmet cuisine. You will not be disappointed. Third time to Jamaica and this resort outshines the others. Be sure to say hello to Mark (the food and beverage manager) Amazing and gracious man.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Awesome resort

Loved it...our second time there and we will definitely go back. We were there from April 8 for 5 days. When we arrived on Saturday, they had the Cuban Day...lots of lovely food, music, dancing and overall a good vibe and lots of fun. The room was lovely; it was cleaned very well every day and the bar fridge was filled every day. Loved the coffee maker in the room. The water stations they have on the way to the beach and on the beach is something new from last time, but really appreciated. The freshly squeezed sugar cane juice was also a nice treat as well as the ice cream at the ice cream shop. The service from everyone we encountered was excellent - people are friendly and very helpful. The lobby bar was frequented....service was awesome there too. The beach is wide and clean; there were enough loungers ..lots of shade if needed. Overall an excellent experience.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Really nice resort

Accommodations are first class, up-to-date and beautiful. pools were great, beach was nice white sand although some seaweed. food was good, drinks were good. would go back. only downfall was the a la carte's for booking. it was basically first come first serve which made for wait times. wasn't a huge deal to us cause we were there without our kids and had no real timelines but I could see that being an issue for some.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Spectacular, Pristine, felt like royalty

The hotel was astounding! Clean, well laid out, and beautiful! The food was exceptional. The pools were perfect. The staff was so friendly. Events and night life - amazing! We will definitely return! Heather, from Trip Central was correct in recommending this to us. We had the swim out suite, and really liked having our own private pool. We got bottles of champagne in our room, top shelf liquor, amazing steaks and lobster, fun beach parties and beach romantic dinners - all for free! Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: 6 star!!!

The staff were amazing, so personable , caring and involved. Played volleyball with us. Pool activities with us . Made some great friendships. Some of staff can even join you for lunch if you invite them. Great way say thanks to them. Its covered by resort if they are with a guest. Buffet is incredible , fresh meat, fish, pasta , ete etc . Bartenders are first class and make amazing drinks--try Bob Marley - Funky Monkey and perfect Pina Colodas !!! The resort is not overwhelming , ie , no trolleys required to get around. IN one day you know your bearings and way around. Mary gave me best massage I have had in my life !!! Some amazing early evening entertainment by lobby bar. Local singer Diane Phillips -- omg!! With a trombone player !!!! Be sure take Pigeon Island 930 am hike --- wear off some that food. Staff take you there -- amazing views of Rodney bay . If too ,much you can get cab back --I did . About 45 minute walk there. Acquafit around 11 each morning - 30 minutes--perfect ! Around pool and beach so much variety of lounges , some umbrellas , some with bed style with coverings. The sunsets -- unreal !!!!!! Would go back for sure !!

was a great resort, the best we have been to yet.and will be back.great people as usual and food and grounds just amazing. everything was so clean and to have butlers was amazing too.entertainment people were so talented.

Our room was spotless everyday. Everything worked in the room and there was no previous damage. Well maintained. The grounds keepers were on top of everything all the time. Beautiful grounds. The food was excellent. Always hot and an amazing selection at every meal. The wait staff was excellent. They were always willing to make your dining experience great. The "Butler" was willing to do most anything to make your vacation care free. He was there if you needed him and he always asked if everything was o.k. Management was visible and interested in making your stay the best in Cuba. The bar staff were ALWAYS friendly and cheerful. The beach was clean and litter free. The beach attendant made sure he found a lounger for you in the shade. EVERYONE was super friendly . They really made an effort to make sure you feel special. Connecting to internet was easy.

Most amazing exceptional resort. My husband and i renewed our vows here and we can not say enough. We had Alonso chexk us in and upgraded us to roof top suite , so gorgeous. All of staff, food, grounds and drinks entertainment was top notch. Heading back in september for 10 days , 7 was not enough for us

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very Nice

Very well kept Resort. The staff was super friendly and nice. Staff was always cleaning and great service. The food was good but really enjoyed the resturants. Had problems having a bus take us back to the airport so that made the whole trip a little disappointing.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Beautiful beaches!

This resort is very clean and the beaches are the best we've ever seen. They are serviced daily to remove seaweed and coral/rocks so it is easy and safe to access the ocean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One week is almost not long enough to enjoy everything there is to offer.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Will be returning!

I read reviews therefor I think it's important to write one myself. I have been on many all inclusive vacations and I feel I have a pretty honest opinion. In this vacation only my husband and I went. First off I wanted to say the staff were awesome. Everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and would ask if we needed help with anything. From the entertainment staff, bar staff, waitresses/waitors, greeters, front desk, bell boys, pool staff, everyone just seemed to love their job! The foo [... read more]d was great! We tried most of the restaurants. Our favourites were the Tex-Mex and Italian. The buffet had lots of different choices and the quality was super. They also offer jerk chicken at the hut by the beach and you are able to order from the sports bar all afternoon/evening and pizza from the Italian restaurant during lunch and they would deliver to your spot by the pool/beach ;) The beach was clean but on the smaller side. You are able to use both blue waters and white sands side of the resort. The pools were always kept clean. The biggest upset is that we had to get up early to find seats by the pool (like most resorts). There isn't a limit to how many towels you can take so a lot of people would take numerous chairs in the morning. The "no reserving" rule was not enforced. The adult pool by the beach however was enforced and children were asked to swim in different pools. The splash pad looked amazing as well as the slides and lazy river. We would love to bring our kids back for that reason. Okay now the rooms... we were not thrilled with our room. Our air conditioner didn't work, our toilet wouldn't flush and our phone didn't work. The toilet was fixed right away but the phone and air conditioner could not be fixed so we moved rooms. Unfortunately we were moved to a smaller room with no sitting area and an extremely small bathroom. We aren't ones to complain too much so if you can get past that the rooms are smaller than other resorts then you are ok. We don't spend much time inside anyway. The bed was like a cloud! So comfortable. Balcony was small as well. Overall we loved the resort. It was kept clean and was the perfect size for us. Lots to do and not too far to walk. We would love to bring our kids back next time. Entertainment was fabulous. Always great shows!! Coffee...my favourite!!

Great resort, large pools and amazing food! Beach was red flag every day so didn't get to go in the water but very nice sand! Amazing restaurants! Great for resort for families! Only suggestion would be to have more cabanas and loungers!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Royalton Riviera Cancun - Hideaway

This hotel was fantastic. Everything about the visit was top notch. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff was warm, welcoming and went above and beyond to help us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the bed. I read a lot of reviews that the mangrove facing rooms should be avoided, however we loved it. One small criticism is that perhaps they could install some sort of shade which can be pulled down on the balcony as it does get excruciatingly hot out there during the day. The food was fantastic and there is a lot of choices of places to eat, we went during the U.S spring break so without Diamond club reservations it can be a long wait, however this wasn't really an issue if you went right at opening. Also likely not an issue if you avoid spring break. Beach is great, it was windy so there was some seaweed but the resort is great about going ahead and getting it cleaned up, not a big deal. The beach could use some more shade, there isn't a lot of places where it is shady and unless you are diamond club you need to pay 75.00 U.S to rent a day bed. One hint....if you ask the beach butler after 4 you can chill there for free, but need to find your own way until then. One other small note, if you make friends with the staff they will go out of their way to find you a shady spot, even when there are none to be found. Towel game doesn't really matter here, they remove people's things if they have not come back for awhile. Normally they do this when other arrive and cannot find a spot. The butlers at the pool and beach hold onto their things and keep them safe until they return. If you are looking for adults only, I would suggest staying at an adults only property. The Royalton is good for offering the best of both worlds, but most of the amenities are on the adults only side and there are a lot of children and teens on the main side, so if you want a quiet kid free vacation try and the VIM instead. That being said the property on the side of the adults only portion of the resort was starting some construction while we were there, it is our understanding that they are expanding the property, so it may offering more in the way of adults only in the future. Still overall it was a great stay, the property is amazing and I haven't seen better entertainment anywhere in the area! One night there was a sea doo in the main pool and a man with jet boots flew around the pool, it was awesome! Additionally do check out the fire show and the Mayan show, they were a must see. From the staff, if you have the chance to meet Estoban, Emilio, Elizabeth or Ashanti ...take some time to get to know them. They were our favorites and went WELL above and beyond for us!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Dissapointing

Travelled with my boyfriend on our first trip together, excited to go to Mexico for the first time. Booked through trip central with marnie, who was amazing and very accommodating. We have stayed at royalton resorts in the past so we had an idea what to expect. We wanted to take advantage of the room selection service offered on the website but it kept stating our reservation was not available and I would recieve an email once it was. I never received this and we emailed and called royalton man [... read more]y times with no response. Upon arrival at the airport we had no idea what was going on, taxi services were hounding us and we almost got into one until we saw an air Canada rep ago advised us we had a bus that would be taking use taking sunwing in the past, this was all communicated via email. Upon arriving at the resort, everything was beautiful and we were excited that we got an early flight, arriving at the resort at 12pm. Check in advised that the room wasn't available until 3 and there was no possibility of room selection, we were very disappointed and wanted to speak to the manager Sylvia. She advised that there was nothing she could do, but she would contact us in a couple days when something was available, she never called. We then needed to wait, with our baggage for 3 hours until our room was available. Finally arriving in our room, realised it was exactly where we did not want, facing the mangrove. The rest of the trip was good, with the except of the staff. Overall resort, food and entertainment were great but bartenders and servers weRe rude and unaccommodating. We booked a 400 Canadian spa package and they forgot to add two services. Check out was stressful as they forgot to give us a check out slip so when trying to get on the bus the bell boys wouldn't allow so we had to go back to check out.
