Grand Sunset Princess: GREAT TRIP

GREAT HOTEL ,GROUNDS WHERE VERY WELL KEPT,STAFF WAS GREAT,FOOD SHOULD BE HOTTER,AND MORE OFF A CHOICE AT BUFFETS,FOOD WAS GOOD BUT NOT GREAT.BEACH WAS NICE A LITTLE ROCKING IN SPOTS AND A LITTLE BIT OFF A DIP TO GET IN TO OCEAN

Las Palmas by the Sea: Loved it!

Las Palmas by the sea was the perfect getaway vacation- escaping the cold winter here in Canada! Couldnt ask for a better location in terms of it being directly between the boardwalk (if your looking for the market and shops) and the marina (where you do water adventures). The beach in front of the hotel was well kept and the nicest from what I saw along that shore line...I had a room that faced the pool and sea, the view was spectacular! I was even encouraged to hit up a night club, and had the most fantastic time! I have Pablo and Jose to thank for making my stay there so fun and helping me make the most of my time there. They were just so wonderful and I'll definitely be back to visit soon! ... There was also a bellboy who was so helpful and I can't write a review without mentioning Antonio- he was so kind! All around good vibes- the only reason I didn't give it 5 is because there were some areas under repair, but I honestly have no complaints! Food was good-maybe too good... Staff amazing... I look forward to my next visit!

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Good family resort

Pro: A good resort family oriented in Nuevo Vallarta. Rooms are fine. Food was ok. Drinks ok. Waiters very friendly. Big enough to look for a peaceful area. Mexican night entertainment was pretty good. Cons: Hotel assigned us a room that was occupied. Hotel gave us a two double bed when we booked a singledouble bed. Salesman Ulises very rude and unprofessional when we decided not to buy a membership of the resort with less that 12 hours of our arrival. Some issues with a broken faucett in the [... read more] shower and we have to request for towels after the cleaning staff took the old towels. Las Vegas night entertainment needs to improve.

Posada Real Los Cabos: Our standards were met.

The food and service was 7.5 out of 10, more favour to the food. Had a small problem at arrival but the Sunwing rep looked after it and our holiday started. The people were excellent! Overall we had a good relaxing time...

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Loved San Jose Del Cabo

Ok I love Mexico.. My favourite place to travel.. This place.. Location.. Grounds.. Size, drinks awesome... Food horrible for the most part... Yeah.. Cleaning of rooms left much to be desired..no attention given to mirrors.patio doors ..Nothing got moved from around the sink.. The majority of the staff was simply amazing... They are why people come to this place... Good location that you can go to nearby restaurants for meals! City

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Wonderful place

Beautiful resort, caters to all ages with loads of things to do for everyone. Food was amazing, staff were amazing. Large resort but walking distance to everything was fine with plenty of shuttles to take you to and from. Beautiful beach, we saw turtles and loads of fish. Would definitely return.

Hacienda Encantada Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

The property was spectacular. Service was excellent. People were very friendly. No night life after 10 p.m. as everything closes down for the night. The Ocean view is awesome and breathtaking. Restaurants were excellent and food was fabulous as well.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great place!

The food was good. The shows at night were entertaining and the beach bar show was amazing! Loved the swing bar! The pools were clean, bathrooms were immaculate and rooms were spacious but thin walls, lol. The only complaint was the smell while walking to and from the rooms to the front lobby. Sometimes, it was really gross smelling!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Always a nice time

This was our third visit, and once again we were mostly happy. This time, however, we weren't ready for the concerts on the "new" stage. We stayed in the building beside the main theatre, and would hear the music on our balcony like we were sitting near the stage. This is very upsetting at 12:30 am when you have children in your room. I realize the resort is looking to expand its client list, but if they don't fix this problem we'll look for another way to spend our vacation budget.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Very Nice Resort

The place was very well maintained. Always people painting and cleaning to keep up maintenance. We also received a call to ask if our room was to our satisfaction. The food was good. The restaurants book up fast so book the first day you arrive, especially the Japanese restaurant. The buffet has theme nights which was fun for the kids. We went to the shows and 75% were very good from Circus and Lion King. Great for the kids but late as they start at 9:30pm. Lizards are all over the place and in the evening coatis and raccoons and there are also Spider monkeys at certain times of the day in one part of the resort. The size of the resort is big which has its ups and downs. Ultimately we would go back.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Had a Great Time 28 Jan - 4 feb 17

This hotel complex is a large hotel with the Caribe being 1 of 4. They share amenities like restaurants, beach activities and theaters. This hotel has a little of everything from toddlers to seniors. There seems to be activities for everyone. I took a Hobie Cat course on day 1 and was able to take one out every day there after. We snorkeled off the beaches and saw stingrays, turtles, squids, eels and even a shark. A little one about 3 ft long and it was cruising along the sandy beach among the w [... read more]aders. Did a catamaran trip to snorkel a reef. saw a turtle, octopus, star fish, puffer fish and many colorful ones I don't know the name of. The beaches are fairly good. There seems to be a windier side and a calm side so you can pick what you prefer. There are lots of chairs so you never had to get up early to reserve them. The pools are plenty and have activities and swim up bars. There are plenty of a la carte restaurants to choose from. We like the Sea Food one best as it had grilled lobster and seafood crepes. We had an Ocean view room which is kind of misleading because even thought the rooms are facing the ocean and are closest to it, you can really only see the pools but the palm trees prevent you from actually having a good view of the ocean. The rooms are nice and balconies have a bubble tub on them on the second and third floors. 1st floor rooms have a swim up pool shared by all the 1st floor occupants. The staff here are great. At the sea food restaurant we were given a flaming coffee show by Mario. Gabrielle at the beach activities is extremely pleasant and helpful. Barcelo has a stage built on the property to the south of the complex. We arrived on the last day of a concert fest called Los Muerto con Queso. I understand that there are concerts here frequently and you should be aware of when they are happening from both a positive or negative perspective. We got to enjoy the concert from our balcony but if it was not my type of music it could have been a less pleasant experience.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Amazing resort that exceeded our expectations!

It was our first time to Mexico and we were sooooo impressed by this hotel! I went with my daughter and cousin this time, and would love to go back with my husband. The hotel was beautiful with lush grounds, well appointed rooms, fantastic restaurants and an amazing beach! The staff were so friendly,so helpful and could not do enough for you. We were very impressed and can't wait to go back! Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: NOT VALUE FOR THE MONEY

For the money that this resorts cost the value is not there specialty restaurants all of them are not worth the effort to get a reservation food just as good as buffet nothing special lack of restaurants opened for lunch buffets do not open till 1 PM

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: For the quiet crowd

Clean, beautifully landscaped, great friendly service, fresh food but bit repetitious, small but friendly hotel. Must be fit to stay on the top floor. We averaged climbing 500 stairs per day! Would recommend this hotel for more of the senior crowd.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: No place like home - except Los Cocos

This is a 3 star resort but it is off the charts when it comes to the heart of the resort. Staff is wonderful - friendly and efficient; the resort is older and somewhat shabby in some areas but rooms and grounds are spotless; guests usually return, some many times, and are all so friendly that friendships often continue after the holiday is over; and there is so much to do as the resort is in a lovely small town ( full of Canadians displaying Canadian flags) with small shops and restaurants if o [... read more]ne wants a change from hotel food, miles of beautiful sandy beaches which take you on to the next town and with lots of beach side bars and restaurants to enjoy along the way. Evening entertainment is good for such a small resort. The only thing we find lacking is the WiFi which only works in a few places and even then often poorly but a short walk away is a cafe with free Wifi that is always good. We love zlpd Cocos.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: What's to complain about?

This was a great resort! Compact yet has everything you need- clean and updated rooms and facilities, extremely hardworking and friendly staff, delicious food and drinks with lots of variety, beautiful beach with clear, warm, and calm water. Had a great time and would recommend to others!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful staff!

This resort is HUGE! We really enjoyed Coba, it was really my style, it is a bit less busy and shuts down around 11ish. Tulum is just a trolley ride away for those who want to party on til sun comes up. Coba has a beautiful pool that is still away from the kids waterslide pool so for people without kids it is still great. The staff are amazing, they are friendly and kind. I can't say enough nice things about the wonderful people. We had our room cleaned spic and span every day, the fridge, shampoo, towels etc. were replaced everyday. The beach was great, the dolphins were soooo cute and very smart. This is a must see as it is free everyday down near Coba beach. We were a bit surprised with the extra costs for the safe "key" but our friends who flew with Air Canada had it for free, we with West Jet had to pay $5 a day U.S. The shows were good and the shops had the usual stuff. I found this resort really cool as there were shops scattered throughout the resort and in hidden locations. Hacienda was neat, bands playing and disco. Casino was a bit of a disappointment. Tulum is bigger and a bit more busy. Food was great, drinks were really yummy! All in all the resort was great!

Occidental Cozumel: Super!

Fantastic staff, good location, beautiful siteseens, good value for money, amazing beach. Rooms are clean and spacious. Gardens are well taken care of with a lot of wildness. The sunset is breathtaken.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: A Top Notch Resort

Everything at the Grand Sirenis is excellent. The food, drinks, nightly entertainment, accommodations were 5 star! The pools are spotless. Golf carts whisk you around the resort if you are tired of walking. The staff is so attentive and accommodating. Many water sports are available. Massages in the beach house are available. You can swim with the Dolphins if you choose to. There are activities for everyone!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Massive resort great service and weather

We stayed in the hideaway section and had a swim up room. Room we clean and we'll looked after daily. Swim up was the way to go, main pools we felt were a little too chilly. Food was great service was good for the most part the odd request we had to make twice but nothing we would make an issue. Location is close to the airport so that is nice from a transfer standpoint. If I was spending money to go to this resort I wouldn't waste it on a room facing the mangroves
