Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Always Excellent

This is about our 10th time to the Grand Bahai Ambar, Punta Cana. I have mobility issues and they always accommodate my requests. The food is excellent with many choices to choose from. The staff is amazing and very friendly and helpful. We will go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Good vacation

In general, we loved our stay. The buffet was good. A couple of la carte restaurants - also good, but not all. Nice beach, but a lot of wrack in October. The hotel does need to improve the sound isolation between rooms and the hall. Noisy neighbors returning to their rooms at 2-3 AM were a real problem for us. It would be also fun to have some variety of music, not only ten latin songs playing on repeat. Rooms a clean and the staff is nice and polite.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great little quaint resort

Lush vegetation on grounds. Small and quaint resort. The staff are very personable. The service is impeccable. The food is good. The entertainment group are very fun. This resort is definitely for an older age group.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Enjoyed our stay

Very clean! Awesome rooms! Family friendly. Did NOT know you can only eat in a restaurant only 3 times in your 7 night stay! We were stuck Having to eat from the buffet 4 nights eating the same foods. The staff always made you feel like You had to tip.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort during the week, not on the weekend!!

Great resort if you have lower expectations. We arrived on a Friday and noticed that the resort was extremely busy. From what it seems the resort offers a great package for cheap to local people for 4 days. So from Thursday to Sunday it was unbelievably busy. You could not get any food from the buffet which was mediocre at best. Lines were extremely long. Not what we had expected for such a big resort. If you called concierge for more you were lucky if they showed up. All the Al la carte restaurants were amazing. We went to Teppanyaki, Italian and Mexican at Tulum which was amazing. The beach was amazing - a bit rocky - water shoes is a must but gorgeous beaches and during the week plenty of room to sit and same as the pool. During the week Monday - Wednesday was great Thursday-Sunday not so much. Overall we had a great time.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet was delicious and clean as well. We enjoyed all of the facilities especially the gym! The staff were quick to bring drinks and coffee during meals. Room service was exceptional! We had an issue with the first room in that it was 2 double beds and we were on our honeymoon. They changed our room to a king bed the next day and included champagne and chocolate! We will come back for sure

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

We've stayed at the Bahia Principe resort on the Mayan riviera over 10 times now and always have a great time. We like the fact that it''s actually 4 resorts in one with plenty of variety. Rooms are big and airy and cleaned religiously every day. There are over 10 speciality restaurants dealing with every kind of food. BUT: book immediately on arrival as they fill up quickly. We will be going back again. Only downside is the drive from the airport which is about 90 minutes.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: excellent resort

This was a great resort; rooms were very large and clean with balcony. The food was excellent, Restaurants were very good, in addition to the buffet. This resort is totally paperless. A covid accommodation to avoid unnecessary touching even the restaurants have a QR code to scan for the menu. An app is required to book things, but there is also access on a standalone device in the lobby to use. There were lots of room at all Restaurants and we were able to try all 5 and some even twice. It [... read more] was a bit far from the airport, but once there you had no need to go anywhere else. The beach was a bit damaged from the recent weather , but every day they were out there working to clean it up. Life guards used the Flag system to indicate safety of water, Dark purple means jelly fish or other dangerous wild life , and was used effectively to communicate the conditions.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing resort

Excellent resort, staff were very helpful, food was excellent . Enjoyed our excursion to blue mountain. The weather was hot but there was a lovely breeze. We hope to return in advance he next few years.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort

Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar is a very beautiful resort, the grounds are well cared for, the rooms are clean, modern and large (we had a Deluxe Corner Junior Suite 2nd floor room 61208) it had a partial view of the ocean (that was an awesome surprise we didn't expect), The food was plentiful, hot and delicious there is always something for everyone to eat (the sports bar has very tasty chicken wings for a late night snack and well made Mojitos ). The staff at this resort are very kind, they work very hard to make sure guest are looked after, they were always cleaning from scrubbing the pool area and the swim outs, to cleaning the walkways, washrooms etc.. we had a fantastic week

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Wonderful resort!

The resort and staff were top shelf! They made a few changes since we were there about 5 years ago and a huge Kudos goes to their efforts. Try he beach was always clean and finding a spot to tuck away was never an issue. Will definitely be returning!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda

Well let me say from our last stay in Oct.2018. The resort has deafeningly dropped in service,activities and especially in the food. No food theme nights as in the past. Same arrangement of food lunch and dinner. We had our room fridge out the hole week. No one came to look at it. The beach staff was hardly seen. We got our own drinks. Also in our past stay at the Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda we where able to have dinner in the other Bahia Principe resorts. (Not this time. we w [... read more]here told.) Well short in staff this was our 5th time at the Grand Bahia Principe. Punta Cana and Mexico. .

We had an awesome week at the Luxury Bahia in Jamaica. The employees were very attentive and friendly providing excellent service. The food and pools were good. The resort could use some updating but was very clean. We would definitely return.

Activities were great. But wasn’t good at all Room was clean but one time we had a none cleaned towel But it would be better for a 5 stars ranked hotel to have better cleaned rooms and better food We found cockroach in the restaurant and told the manager

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Top drawer!

If not for the oppressive heat and humidity, this vacation spot would rank as the best of our 5 visits to Punta Cana- all different resorts, mind you. One minor hurdle was the watery welcome mat from the A/C leak, which was repaired within the hour. Really, you don't have to travel to encounter this, so no need to complain. From there, it was smooth sailing. The room was huge and well equipped, and the fridge restocked daily. The king bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sea was calm- even [... read more] fish swimming around my feet- and the beach was absolutely beautiful the 1st 4 days, then low tide started coming in, so brought seaweed with it. No biggie... that's nature. But the heat... the humidity... If we'd travelled in November, this would've been heaven! Not pool people, so really can't say anything about it. Daily buffet at Acuario was awesome- delicious food, with great variety. Dinner reservations at Tequila, Portofino & MEAT were well worth the trip! Limbo & Rodizio were just a notch below... again, just the heat & humidity dampening the mood. Entertainment options were fun & within reach, as the lobby & pool were just across from our room in Bldg. # 80. Grounds were well looked after. Considering the stresses from the pandemic, & hurricane worries, the hotel & cleaning staff did a commendable job. Special thanks to Yanibel- I so hope I have it right- a concierge who helped me get my eTicket for our departure. I couldn't navigate the all-Spanish instructions. Will definitely think about coming back- between November & March months! Thanks all, for your efforts in trying to make our stay memorable. Cudos! And...salud!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Vacationed Oct 1 -8 2022

The hotel is amazing, rooms were spacious and clean the beach was absolutely beautiful. The food.....well breakfast and lunch were great, the dinners were not good. For this reason I would not return. They were mostly edible, but not enjoyable. New cooks not really knowing how to cook, portion size - one meal had less than a teaspoon of chicken. Most dinners so over cooked you could barely cut salmon with a knife, you can only imagine how the steak was. The resort needs some work external painting etc. our bathroom leak water from the shower and from the ceiling the vault was broken when we arrived they ran out of shampoo The Dining Rooms we’re good beach is very poor with the exception of the grand Bahia the beach at the luxury didn’t exist I was hoping more variety at the buffets as I’m used to pre-covid the bars at the luxury didn’t have the premium liquors and beer I was expecting that

All our needs were met and the staff were amazing. We had an incredible time. The a la carte restaurants were fantasic. We also did the dinner on the beach for our anniversary and it was just incredible.

It was 1st rate. there is nothing I would change except that the house coats be brought back to the rooms. the food as usual was fantastic, entertainment was 1st class. pools were clean as well as the resort in general. we have returned 5 times and was never let down it is our go to place to unwind and relax

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Fantastic Resort

I can't say enough about this resort, it was spectacular. Very clean,amazing staff and lots of activities for all ages. The beach was absolutely pristine every day thanks to the wonderful gentleman who cleaned away all the seaweed. Take my word for it,you will not find a better resort in all of Mexico.
