Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Great for families

We were traveling on our first international trip with our 7mo old baby. This hotel was perfect for that! There was a heated kids pool, and the ocean waves weren't so crazy that we could go in with baby. The hotel grounds were nice and modern. The staff was amazing. The only drawback for me personally is that you can't see the ocean from many areas of the resort (pretty much all areas except the beach itself or the beach restaurant). Riu Emerald Bay: SECOND HOME

the hotel and staff are beyond your expentations.good food and service .front desk is a little shaky some times like a run around for a late check out .the sad pat is not the hotel its the flight times.sunwing does not deserve to be able to do rius they treat everyone like crap if you have been to this resort you know about Mexican tourist cards you have to fill them out in that little area before customs what a joke .love this place but the airline sucks.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: A great mid-sized resort with all the amenities!

We stayed at RH from Jan 21-28, 2017. The accommodations, food and service were all exceptional! Fabulous beach for morning walks. Great drink and snack service on the beach. The evening entertainment at the Allegro Bar was wonderful. We were not disappointed!

Park Royal Beach Huatulco: Great resort

Very clean and well maintained resort with perfect weather if you like it hot. 32-33 degrees Celsius every day we were there in January. Staff were very accommodating and polite during our stay. Very enjoyable.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: We had a great time!

Highly recommended. We just got back after spending a week there. Easy and close access to the pools and beach. The food was fantastic with an abundance of variety to choose from (both at the buffet and dine in restaurants). The entertainment crew was phenomenal at keeping our active boys (10 and 13 years) busy with plenty of sports activities outdoors and in the game room. The evening entertainment was also great to watch (especially the "Fire" show!)

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort

Just back from a week at This Melia. We really enjoy this resort, it was not too big which is what we as a seniior couple like. Absolutely no complaints about the staff, the manager, or the lovely doctor on site who had to come and administer to me for a problem, which wasn't serious i might add. The location couldn't be better, near a lovely marina and close to the local bus. A bonus was the proximity to the airport. The beach is not huge and we did not go in the ocean as it was quite wind [... read more]y and choppy. Then pool is huge and not too cold. Overall, the place is very clean and the a la carte restaurants very good.

Riu Santa Fe: Riumazing

Hotel, grounds, room etc are all immaculate. I am particular but found no fault with cleanliness. We never had to ask for towels or supplies. The fridge was regularly topped up, however, we had no rum when got our room on Sunday, and after asking Monday for the rum to be replenished it took until Saturday. This is our only complaint and as the resort is all-inclusive it wasn't really that big of a deal. Food was very enjoyable. The drinks were made very well. The selection of food and drinks  [... read more]was quite amazing. The evening entertainment was good .... had us bopping in our chairs and singing along. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. We may have seen 1 sourpuss, everyone else was happy, friendly and helpful. The sportsbar made great cappucino's and expresso's. I would absolutely visit a Riu again.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: different service

WAS nice a lot of walking with a bad back. Service was good the only catch was we had a 12 year old she was only allowed in one resterent. because she was a kid.MY wife got her necklace taken and bracelet taken from room

Las Brisas Ixtapa: Lovely location

The three restaurants we went to were great, food and service excellent. The beach was beautiful and enough chairs for everyone, the releasing of the turtles was really cool.Pools for everyone, adult pool, wadding pool and kids pool. The lounging chairs were a bit worn down but lots of them. More straight chairs near the pools would have been great for people with mobility difficulties as the lounge chairs were quite low. The grounds were and hotel were very clean although missing a bit of flow [... read more]ers or at least some color. Very low key hotel, so if you are looking for relaxation rather than activities this is the place.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Fabulous Holiday!!!

We just returned from a week of sun and fun at the fabulous Barceló colonial. The al la cartes were super with the exception of the Santé Fe steak house. What a disappointment . The steaks were so tough we couldn't get thru them. The service was top notch at all of the restaurants!. the resort is clean and well kept. There was so much to do, and our only regret was that we had only booked one week. We look forward to returning to this wonderful holiday resort. Gracia

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Awesome resort

One of the best resort I have been in a long time. Friendly, clean, excellent food, A la carte were good and for once not difficult to booked compared to other resorts that we have been to. I'm a whimp, when dealing with pools, I like a heated pool but it wasn't the case but still ok. The only thing for us, that we did not like wasn't with the resort but with the distance from the airport and the 1.5 hrs ride after a 6.5 hour flight. Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Return trip even better than the first!

Everything about this hotel is amazing, from the rooms, food, pool, spa, customer service! Definitely will be going back again, hopefully soon! Variation of dining on this small resort is amazing, poolside American offerings as well as traditional Mexican food, cooked up fresh before you on the grill. Bars very accommodating for any drinks you desire. Great daily activities with a fun and attentive Entertainment staff. Concierge went over and above to help me out with a situation I had. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Mother Daughter Trip

This is my second time at this resort with my mom. We like staying at the Sian Kan side because the food is amazing and the service is great. It is a nice quiet Zen resort but you can take a trolley to the other resorts if you want more entertainment etc. The food was very delicious at the Maiko, Aluxe gourmet and the Gourmet Arlequin. I also enjoyed the seafood restaurant. The food and drinks were exceptional. It is a very large resort so expect to be walking a lot or waiting for trolleys somet [... read more]imes 15 minutes plus. There was a lot to do at the resort and we were never bored. If you needed anything the staff would help you right away. We had a fantastic time and always enjoy ourselves at the Bahia Principe resorts!

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Great Resort, Staff, Food & Activities

The Dreams Tulum is a beautiful resort. The beach had lots of nice sand for soccer, volleyball and other activities, there was a swimming area that the staff did a nice job of keeping clear. Having the beach and pool close together was great. Great variety of restaurants with nice food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What makes this resort is the staff. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Phenomenal Complex

This was our 6th time to the Grand Palladium! We love it here. It is a huge complex with numerous activities, entertainment options as well as expansive pools and beautiful beaches with ability to snorkel right off the resort in beautiful reefs, swim in salt water pool or play in the white sand! We travel with our now ten year old son and find the resort to be very safe. It is a large facility set in the mayan jungle and we enjoy the natural surroundings, the flora and fauna. We enjoy walking [... read more] but if you don't, this resort is not a good option however they offer shuttle and train services to get around. The entertainment, rooms, service and impeccable grounds at the Grand Palladium are truly GRAND!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Family Vacation Azul Fives

The Hotel was beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom Jacuzzi suite and there was lots of room for all four of us to stay. The restaurants were beautiful and the food was great. As a family we enjoyed everything from the smoothie bar, to the pools, beautiful beach, and rainforest walk way. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly appreciated the staff at the beach front as they took the time to get to know us and make an effort to get my young daughters 'drink orders' correct ;) We found [... read more] the concierge at the beach very accommodating and would help us book one of the 'beds' on the beach when prestige members were not using them. The overall experience was relaxed and comfortable. We went on one trip off the resort and really appreciated the efforts Air Transat puts into helping families plan a day trip; everything went smoothly. The only complaint I have is of the room cleaners; they did not speak any English so it was hard to make requests (ex. inquire times when they would need access to the rooms, or to replace dirty glasses). However, we did not spend a great deal of time in the room, so it did not adversely impact our time at all!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: What a blast!

My family and I had so much fun. My 5 year old loved the kids club and the water parks. My wife and I loved the beach and the grounds around the resort. The staff was absolutely wonderful and treated us like royalty.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Beautiful Resort!!

Everything about this resort was beautiful! From the beach to the room! The food was some of the best I've ever had while vacationing. The buffet is themed every night so you never get sick of eating the same thing. I loved the fact that you only had to book one of the restaurants and that you could attend any one of them any night of the week that you wanted without a reservation!! There was no bar on the beach but servers do come to take your drink order and the bars aren't too far. Everything was in walking distance. We stayed in the 1800s and I suggest that location because it was central to everything! We had a junior suite which was beautiful and came with a bottle of wine upon arrival as well as matching robes and slippers. The staff is absolutely amazing and this is one of the best resorts for the customer service aspect. We were treated like Queens the entire week!! Cano, Juan-Carol's, Suzana, Oscar and Salvatore were some of the best workers!! Cano goes above and beyond to make sure your dining experiences are great. The pools are great as well, only one has a swim up bar! Large and beautiful pools with many chairs but you honestly have to save your pool chairs at 6am as well as the ones on the beach. The spa is great if you have a chance to check it out! Overall a great stay and will definitely be back!!!!!!
