Blue Bay Villas Doradas: BlueBay Vaca

First time here and first time at an all inclusive for me...what a time!!! Four of us went for a week and we were a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but we had an awesome time! The staff is OUTSTANDING...OUTSTANDING! Check in was easy and we were ready to hit the beach. The vendors are also ready for you but if you just say No Thanks they aren`t too bad...it wasn`t very busy there at this time of the year so the vendors were a little more hungry for business but never unpleasant and [... read more] after a day or two they knew if you were going to buy or not. Chairs and the little grass huts down on the beach are wonderful, we enjoyed the sun, sand, surf and a drink or two from the beach bar. The pool bar was a happening place, music, laughs and drinks quickly ready for you to enjoy. The chairs at the pool could stand to be replaced..some ripped and some had the bar at the bum area sticking up which was hard to sit on if you wanted to read. FOOD..lots and lots of food, felt like we were always eating and traveled with two vegetarians and they never had any problems finding something to their liking. The staff in the dining room was quick to fill your glasses and take your dirty dishes and always with a pleasant greeting. Everyone is so friendly and the entertainment team is AMAZING..had so much fun and laughs. I am going to say the place could use with a little updating, pool tiles need fixing, pool needs a little cleaning, rooms need a little updating and some good quality pillows would be a plus we all suffered from some sore necks from the pillows. We never had any bugs in our room but there was a smell of sewer that could be smelt every once in awhile that was a little off putting but we weren`t in our room for the whole trip but it did make us wonder why that smell would fill our room. Free WiFi...an all inclusive should include everything ...including WiFi...it would have been nice to stay in touch with home with the use of free WiFi. Bring some small bills with you because no where on the resort can you get any bigger bills changed and if you bought something in the beach hut you were given peso and if you didn`t want them they always said they had no american dollars. I think it was a wonderful vacation and would not hesitate to tell anyone to go there for a good time...I know we all had a great time and will be back!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fantastic Resort

We had an amazing time at Ocean Blue!! The rooms were nice, modern, and clean. The pools were fantastic as they were both huge and there was never a shortage of places to sit- like there usually is at most resorts. The entertainment staff was an absolute blast and there was always something fun going on if you don't feel like lounging. They had games in the morning, and afternoon, as well as dance lessons. There were karaoke nights and beach parties, and the disco was never dull and always a goo [... read more]d time if you plan on staying at the resort in the evening. My only critique would be the food service.. When at an all inclusive I expect to be able to eat when i'm hungry, whenever that may be. We arrived on a Saturday night and slept until 10 the next morning.. We woke to find out that there is no food available between 10:30 and 11:30, because apparently they flip all of the buffets at the same time.. It was also difficult to find anything to eat after the dinner buffets closed in the evening.. the only thing open all night was the sports bar that supposedly serves pizza all night, but they were always out of pizza. If you like to stay out late and enjoy the night life, make sure you store your own food in the fridge for late night and late morning snacking!! They also do not have coffee stations in the restaurants, which can be frustrating to those who need there coffee first thing, as it was often difficult to get the attention of a server. I would like to see this change by my next visit, but I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Ocean Blue to a friend. :)

Blau Natura Park Resort: great resort

this was a very nice hotel with only a few problems. There should be more to do at night time. This hotel also lets the people on the resort that sells there tours so they always are bugging you, The grounds are nice and well cared for the food is good and most of the staff are nice

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great resort

very well kept resort friendly staff. The food from the buffet to the restaurants was very well prepared , good variety ,and very fresh.The beach was amazing miles of sand with shallow calm water good for families, but also provides good snorkeling as the reefs are close to shore. Only issue is with A/C in buffet should be kept cooler, a little uncomfortable for lunch Hr. Dinner however is better. The restaurants are very comfortable. Occidental Caribe: Nice resort

I enjoyed this resort. Large resort but very accessible to everything. Located right on the beach Staff is very friendly. Clean. Pools are large and beautiful. Only bad had things stolen out of my room. Nobody could of done it except for the maids. Very disappointed. Next time I travel I won't be having room cleaned. I will exchange my towels everyday myself. Stay out of my room. I would return to this hotel, but a bit smarter to be one step ahead of the maids.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Everything I expected and more!

The Be Live Grand Punta Cana is exactly what one should expect from a vacation resort especially for the price. If you want to spend another $500+ you could get a resort you might find more modern or with better upkeep, etc. but I'm not sure it would have everything the Be Live has to offer. While the adults only package wasn't quite what we were expecting, the upgrade was well worth it in the end. Lots of food choices meant that even a picky eater could manage to find things they liked.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Really Good Resort! Family Friendly

Exactly what we were looking for. Food was good, pool was great (little dirty at times), but the drinks were cold :) Family Friendly (Designated areas for kids and parents, or just to leave the kids there). Most important, the people were welcoming! Very nice people there and made me feel very welcome at the resort. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: another great stay at the majestic

was nice to see a lot of improvements in the adults only section.it was our third visit to this resort was very nice to see some of the same staff with outstanding service starting with the main lobby bar Francis , Johnny, Rademere, George, Knorky,also at beach bar with Maxima and the girls.good old Felix at pool bar. Our trip was made extra special by DAVID our butler he went beyond customer service and really made our stay memorable and full of surprises. The grounds have mature plants well cared for. GARDENERS, GROUND keeping does an amazing job. New adults only snack bars is very nice improvement. The food will always bring me back the STEAKHOUSE is our favourite but we enjoy All the different selections. THIS WAS OUR 25 WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. We spent our 20th at the MAJESTIC ELEGANCE 2009 THEN AGAIN 2011 BALLI beds in adults section is totally recommended. Clean sheets are provided upon request pool is steps to the ocean one of the best set ups i've seen. ENTERTAINMENT STAFF work really hard all day and into the evening to keep you laughing. special hats off to ELVIS at front lobby for taking care of all patrons. Grand Bavaro Princess: Relaxing vacation

Grounds beautiful , staff helpful food good ,felt safe . Nightly. Entertainment was fantastic . Beaches were beautiful. However found large coach roaches in room. Rooms were musty. Everything else perfect.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: nice and friendly resort

We just came back from this resort. It is a good place. But the weather in this week not too good. Only 3 days sunny. 4 days raining...but still good So the mosquitoes or bug are very active.There are no a/c in the buffet restaurant. The floor there is wooden and have a big gap. They hidding there. So when we have good dinner. They have a good dinner ,too. The food is good but a little bit salty. The maxcian restaurant is the best. We stay in Block 4 3/F . Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: great value

The grounds and beach were immaculate. The staff were five star. The pools were cleaned daily. The buffet was varied and good quality. The rooms were simple, but clean. We will go back without any hesitation.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: wonderful and homey

Highlights were beach.pools.grounds...best beach ever been on . Water so warm. Only one buffet but they tried very hard to refresh menu. Something for everyone. Staff exceptional. Rolando.junior .kenny eliazer and hostess girl became. Like family to us. Just sweet people that worked hard to please . Loved our balcony in the sun with a view. Room 2213. There 14 days and didn't get bored. And yes would love to return if price was right

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Beautiful resort, fantastic service, amazing food

Overall this was an amazing resort. Everything was nearly perfect. The food selection and quality was superb. The service was five star with incredibly pleasant staff. The grounds were upkept beautifully and the pools were great.

everything was great. Grounds well maintained, staff friendly, food was good---more variety if you did a-la carte resturants, Rooms could have been a little cleaner ( dead cockroach in my room was never cleaned up, Was never picked up.

Occidental Caribe: Great resort for small children.

Everything was great. No complaints. I wanted a resort that was good for my 5 year old and this was it. I found that the buffet food didn't have alot of food gear towards little kids but that was not a huge issue.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Excellent choise for my vacations

We have been at this resort first week of the June. It was the second time and we loved it! Everything was amazing! The food was incredible and the staff very nice! A big thank you to Richard Morales- assistent manager, and through him i would like to thank all resort personnel for the amazing services, in an amazin infrastructure, activities, food and drinks.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: gorgeous

The hotel itself it gorgeous , we had an amazing week ! The only thing really was pretty much 85% of the guests spoke Spanish so it wasn't really like you could mingle too much. Food was good and the service was friendly but you do feel pressure to tip while there.

Occidental Caribe: Fabulous Vacation

This hotel has lots to offer. The beach was pristine - what seaweed they did have they removed immediately. Service was excellent, restaurants were amazing. The rooms however are in need of upgrading.

Occidental Punta Cana: awesome place

Good food, got everything compacted in a relatively small area so you don't have to walk too much. Lots of bars, buffets, restaurants, pools, the beach is close and really good. The locals are wonderful people. Kids friendly environment too, got playgrounds and game room. Just loved it.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Beautiful resort, exceptional staff and service

The rooms were bright and beautiful....bathrooms could be a bit better...the grounds were so well taken care of and the service.....I will never forget how well I was treated! The daily food kept my belly singing and the staff were all so happy and courteous..always looking for ways to brighten our day no matter how big or how small! I cried the day I left.....it was very hard leaving such a paradise.
