Riu Vallarta: Great vacation place

Loved the beach and the weather, hotel was great too, rooms were clean and nice view, food was Ok but wine was not really drinkable. Hotel staff was very friendly. We ended up renting bicycles through hotel and loved the visit into Boseria - great friendly Canadian bicycle rental shop.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Blue Bay Esmeralda - Mexico ......Okay Resort - Great Location

This was my 5th visit to the Mayan Riveria. I love Mexico. For the most part, we are not going for the resort, but rather to experience all the area has to offer. Typically, we rent a vehicle and travel up and down the coast to see and do a variety of different things. Based on this the hotel's location (situated about at the half way point between Cancun and Tulum) it was perfect for reaching places in a short amount of time. The hotel itself was for the most part clean and well kept, h [... read more]owever was lacking the "WOW" factor. Nothing about it made us say "Hey, look at that....isn't that special". No swim up bars, No lazy river, very little water sports available, no fruit or ice sculptures on the buffet, no disco. There were a few shops (not that I want to shop) and basically one bar in the evening with some entertainment. Also, there were game tables however you had to pay to use them. At the time of booking ( and I will say I paid more this time than I have ever paid for a trip) we put in a request for a King size bed. We never did get our King size bed, but instead had 2 double beds. For people who are used to sleeping in a Queen size bed at home, this made for a very uncomfortable 9 nights sleep. I did request each day to have a King size bed (none available) but stopped asking by about the 5th day. To me, the beds should at the very least be Queen size. Meals: We did like that fact we had several dinner options each evening, Mexican, Italian, Steak House, Oriental, Seafood, French and a dinner show. Usually I enjoy the food in Mexico much better than I did this time. For the most part the food was okay but not spectacular. I will boast that the 'presentation" of the food on the plates at each restaurant was very nice. Circle One Club: Or whatever they call it....BEWARE! Over the years I have done several Time Share Presentations - all a total rip off! And this is just another one of these too! Although they don't call it Time Share. The 90 minute presentation which turned into 3 hours was a farce. They want you to invest a lot of $$$ in the property which boasts nothing more than a more private section on the beach! What a waste of our vacation time. All in all I would probably go to another resort next time or even consider not an all-inclusive option as I feel we don't get our money's worth for the amount of time we actually spend at the resort property. If I WAS going for the resort, I would go to the Grand Princess or try another one with more things to offer - "more bang for my buck"

The Bel Air: Not what you expect

We knew this was a quieter resort, but almost too quiet. No entertainment is offered, snack shack does not exist. You order at the pool bar food, and it is brought to you anywhere from half hou to one hour later. The hotel is clean, but towels are in short supply.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Ok resort

This resort's food was great but rooms need to be redone. Very smelly with dampness. Pool was great. Staff excellent. We paid for superior but don't feel price reflected that. The wild life that was on the resort was excellent.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa: BEST RESORT WE HAVE EVER VISITED!

My husband and I are very blessed to travel frequently, usually to the Mayan or to many of the other Caribbean countries. We decided this year to try Cabo and wow are we glad we did. The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica resort was the most beautiful we have ever stayed. Our first time with "adults only" and it was quiet, romantic with amazing a la carte food every night. Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Royal decameron Los Cabos

Very clean resort. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Infinity pool was excellent. Food was good and close to town. Being a smaller resort was nice,it was easy to find where everything was located

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing vacation !!

We absolutely loved this resort. The kids were never bored. The grounds were impeccable and the staff overly friendly. Not a bad word to say! We will definitely be booking this trip again with Stephanie Brucculieri. She had a great recommendation! Thank you for the memories.

Riu Santa Fe: Awesome Trip!

Over all this was a great trip and resort! I went in January so it was a little bit chilly during the nights and wished that I had more warmer clothes for the evenings. Rooms were clean and service was great. I didn't realize that the beach would be so rough and we wouldn't be able to swim in it, that was a bummer. The food was pretty good and the restaurants were decent, I preferred the buffets.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Incredible resort

We just arrived home from 7 days and this was our first all inclusive, it exceeded our expectations by far. Very clean, excellent food, entertainment, 7 days of no rain and perfect weather and the people were just amazing, would go back in a heartbeat!

Allegro Cozumel: Definitely Recommend!

My boyfriend and I visited from January 20th to the 27th and we had an amazing experience! We arrived late (11pm) and there was no problems getting checked in and getting situated in our room. The entire week, service was great and staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions. The resort is very kid-friendly (we don't have kids), but we didn't find it to be overwhelming or annoying. If you're not a kid-friendly person though their partner resort Occidental is just down the beach [... read more] and is more adult-oriented. There are plenty of options for food! Most meals were served in a buffet style, but you never lacked for option. If you're down for trying Mexican dishes you have that or if you'd prefer to stick with what you know, there were always some more basic options! Both of us experienced a little bit of Montezuma's revenge, so I would pack some Pepto Bismol if you are worried about this. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I would definitely go back!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great times with great friends

Great Resort. Good food. Lots of sunshine. Beautiful beach with aqua blue water. A++++ A lot of things to participate in. Staff was very friendly and hardworking. We may even go back to this resort one day 😆

Occidental Cozumel: Exactly what we were looking For

Very nice smaller sized hotel, looks like they cater more to adults, but can accommodate families. It was marvellous to laze by adults pool, see the bar across the pool from you, then you see your three storey group of rooms just beyond that... Food selection was very good, drinks were cold. Oscar was wonderful finding excursions for exactly what we were looking for. Got trapped into a time-share one hour talk that lasted three hours on our first morning there... Well I have not had time to see anything yet!!....Warning- if you want to take excursions on the mainland.... add a 20 minute taxi ride (and cost) plus 45 minute ferry ride (and cost) each way... It adds to tour costs and adds maybe 3 additional hours to your day

Las Brisas Huatulco: Do Not Fly Transat!!!!!

Hotel was okay, beautiful beaches, it is older at about 35 years old (formerly a Club Med). The big problem in the attitude of Transat Air. One of the group did not have their luggage sent from Regina. Multitude of excuses given (there was a lighter in the checked bag so it was a security threat, it was shipped to Toronto, it was shipped to Regina, it will be here tommorrow) at the end his bag stayed in Regina and Transat made no attempt to send it despite all the excuses. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort

We stayed at Grand Bahia Príncipe Coba in January for one werk to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. We were a group of 11. The grounds of the GBPC are beautiful! There are many trolleys to get around and the drivers are fantastic in helping you. All you have to do is ask, they will even stop to ask you if need a ride. The rooms are kept very clean, and the mini bar was restocked daily with lots of water, beer, pop, chips and even chocolate a couple of days! Please tip the maids and the guy who restocks the fridge, they do an amazing job! The fridge was always cold. ( we left the cabinet door open to allow air flow.) The food was good although a little repetitive. You can always find something to eat, even the fussiest eaters lol. The staff in the buffet are great at bringing your drinks and keeping your table clean. Antonio at the buffet restaurant was amazing! Always friendly and efficient! Remember we were 11 but never had to wait for a table or service! The bartenders were always friendly and made fantastic mojitos and margaritas! We booked a massage at the spa and it was awesome! All in all of was a great vacation! Thank you GBPC!

Live Aqua Cancun: Satisfaction Guaranteed

The resort is well located on the Cancun hotel strip. Approximately one half hour from the airport and within a short walking distance to two large malls. Nightly entertainment both on and nearby the resort is quite inviting. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are bright and very clean. The variety of food in the buffet restaurant and the a la carte restaurants will please. No long line ups or reservations required as in larger resorts. And yes let us not forget the white sandy beach and warm waters of the Caribbean sea to entice one into complete relaxation mode.

Allegro Cozumel: LOVED IT

LOVED THE WHOLE HOTEL , ROOMS , FOOD , POOLS, BEACH. THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE MEMORY FOAM MATTRESSES. HAD A GREAT TIME THERE. MY FRIENDS GOT MARRIED ON THE TRIP AND THE STAFF BENT OVER BACKWARDS FOR THEM. EVERYTHING THE STAFF SAID THEY WOULD DO, THEY DID AND MORE. THE SUNSETS WHERE GREAT. THE RESORT IS NOT HUGE SO IT IS EASY TO WALK AROUND TO THE POOLS , BEACH.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great resort for families!

This hotel has beautiful grounds, it is very well maintained, rooms are very clean, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the food is good. Lots to do to stay busy; pools, beach, lazy river, dolphins, shows, bars, entertainment, snorkeling, walking trails... Things to consider before booking: this is a very large resort = lots of walking, the beach is not picture postcard beautiful like some of the other resorts or destinations. It is rocky. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Awesome resort

excellent food, staff and weather! spent the entire time by the infinity pool and it was amazing! only downfall was there were quite a few children always around the pool, would maybe consider an adults only resort next time!

Allegro Cozumel: Another Great Vacation at the Allegro

We have been to the Allegro before and we're excited to go back again. The recent renovations were lovely and gave the resort a much needed freshening up. The food has also improved and the buffet and a la cartes are all excellent. What makes this resort is the staff. They are friendly, attentive and work very hard to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautiful and the new beds very comfortable. Love the new bathrooms. This is a very family friendly resort. Secrets Huatulco: excellent as always

service was only slow one day at the beach . thinking a change over is staff . all very good . room service excellent as usual , rooms nice and clean and resort spotless . As a returning visitor to the resort and area . Lots to do if you want , lots of relax if you want .
