Platinum Yucatan Princess: Beautiful Resort. Service not the best.

The hotel itself was very nice. The grounds very well kept. The food wasn't outstanding but it was what we have come to expect at a Mexican resort. The buffet selection was better than some but as with other resorts it gets a bit tired after awhile. Some of the service by staff was below par. There were some staff that gave great service but the ones that didn't provide that are the ones you seem to remember most.

Costa De Oro: Friendly but just average

The hotel is in a great central location but is starting to look tired. Dishes in kitchenettes, pillows, bathrooms could all use updating. TVs are ancient but this was a minor concern for us. Rooms are not very sound proofed and given that there is a bar across the street can be very noisy. Staff is very friendly and helpful and did accomodate several room changes for us to try to alleviate noise concerns. Tower closest to ocean has lovely views but noise definitely carries from Gus Gus bar  [... read more](great food though). The older tower backing onto the street seemed quieter despite the traffic noise. Music is constantly playing too loudly around the pool, but this is Mexico! The beach is beautiful and great for walking for miles. There is no shortage of great restaurants within an easy walk ie, Panchos, Lucky B's, great coffee shop across the street (Rico's).

Cabo Blanco Hotel: Fantastic Staff

The staff at the hotel Cabo Blanco were very helpful and friendly, I saw them go out of their way for several guests, answering questions giving directions and handing out maps. They were also very accommodating in the restaurant, bringing things which were not on the eg: yoghurt ,bacon. the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Wonderful staff and restaurants

This is the adults only Iberostar hotel in this resort It was a great hotel in its time but since we started staying there it has got "tired" and is showing its age. The staff are very attentive and the choice and quality of food is A1 but there are areas where maintainence is clearly required We had internal room problems which we identified to management every morning and nothing was fixed for the whole week

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing Resort

This resort was beautiful. It was huge and very lush with alot of natural tropical landscape. Lots of wild life on the resort especially iguanas and agouti and coati. It was a very clean resort. Room were very nice and clean.The bed was comfortable. There is alot of walking but I loved that. There were shuttles available but there is still alot of walking. The beach was beautiful with a great swimming area with sand bottom and crystal clear waters. Pools were beautiful with several to choose fro [... read more]m. Food was good with alot of seafood. (not lobster though) The staff were very friendly with great customer service. My only negative is that the evening entertainment shows were not anything special so we did not go. Might be geared more to kids. I would like to see more of the culture, Also, they did not play enough Mexican or spanish music at that resort or at the lounges. Overall we are very pleased with this resort.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Wonderful wonderful resort.

The staff and facility is amazing. The grounds, rooms and restaurants as well as recreation areas and beach are spotless. Cleaned constantly. The food was excellent and plentiful. The best was the friendliness and spirit of all the staff. Thanks Pariso Beach for the memories!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Can't say enough great things about this resort

We travelled to GBP tulum 2 days after the lobby fire. This resort is so large, that unless you were there beforehand, you'd never know there had been a fire. The resort is immaculate, the service exceptional, and the food is the best I've ever had at an all inclusive resort. The beach- clear and beautiful. You can see hundreds of fish within 20 feet of shore without even needing snorkel gear. Overall great experience. Can't wait to go back!

Secrets Huatulco: Great Vacation!

We were at this resort from Jan 10 thru 24 2017. We have been to 2 other Secret Resorts and were initially somewhat disappointed in this one. What we really liked was the weather.....hot! Our room was totally adequate but not exceptional. It was clean and maid service was very good. The food was also very good but not excellent. The buffet food was not served hot, more like warm, so we always went to a sit down restaurant. The staff was friendly and courteous. What we didn't like was th [... read more]at only one restaurant had a ocean view and was relatively quiet and relaxing. 4 of the 6 restaurants were grouped together in what felt like a crowded area with a buffet in the centre. they were noisy and busy and we felt like just quickly eating and getting out of there. AT the pool one had to get up early and claim a lounge in order to get anything close to a pool. Some of the lounges were most uncomfortable and I actually had a very sore hip and back for a good part of our 2 weeks. We will not be going back to this Secrets.

Riu Palace Pacifico: the resort was excellent

The workers in the hotel were always very polite and nice and try to there best knowledge to help us. the Hotel is very very clean and our room was beautiful. I have no complain just to let you know I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing is the hotel is far from the city. But for one week it was great. We did the city tour.excellent. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fabulous Resort

Bahia principe sian ka'an is a fabulous spot to stay when visiting mayan riviera. Staffs were friendly and eager to assist. The resort is situated in the jungle, it is very quiet with beautiful landscaping throughout the entire resort, the resort is beautifully kept and super clean. I would highly recommend this resort and wounder not hesitate to come back for another stay.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Amazing resort is right!

to whom it may concern; I will speak/write on behalf of myself in hopes that Robert will write his own review :o) First of all thank you for offering such great giveaways. We were fortunate enough to win and for that I am grateful. The experience was a most wonderful one. The flight down was a little chilly but I managed to cover up quite well. As per hotel: WOW! I have never been to an all inclusive resort that had SO much to offer. The service (always right there if you needed that little extra bit of wine etc), room (very spacious and clean), surroundings were all above and beyond expectation. I enjoyed the location so much that I will be returning to this particular Iberostar with family. I have been talking about my surroundings non stop to everyone since I got back. And I haven't touch on everyone yet! Let me expand! The animal life and beautiful plants were everywhere. The flamingos lively colour, the monkeys nest right outside our bedroom window ( we were on the top floor) the lizards basking in the sun by the pool we frequented ( they did not bother a soul and were not intimated when walking right by them or taking a close up pic), the peacocks (did you know they could fly? We did not until one was posing for us on our balcony--did I mention we were on the top floor), the beautiful waterfalls, landscape, numerous birds, and other little "rodents" (can't remember their name) just meandering about. I JUST LOVED BEING THERE!!!!!! For me it was not just basking in the sun/drinking and having a good time (too old for that now I guess) I go for the warmth more than the sun. So you see all the extra nature like activities were for me two holidays in one. The weather was great and I must say I had a very relaxing and most enjoyable week. A great big thank you to whomever is responsible for putting out TRIP TRIVIA and very glad I/we came across your website. Telling my friends about that as well. Riu Emerald Bay: Excellent service

Beautiful beaches, very clean, excellent customer service. Mario the waiter and poncho the bartender are the best. The rooms were amazing. Double sink bathrooms. The seafood was delicious. Buffet food and service was excellent. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone :)

Grand Riviera Princess: Beautiful resort

Beach- big white sand, always can find a beach chair, some rocks in the water but clear sand bottom in parts Food- just okay. Travelled with a large group and no one got sick. Food was just bland and a bit boring. Instant coffee at the buffet is disappointing but you can get a cappuccino or express at the ice cream parlour. Lots of restaurants to choose from. My favourites were mamma Mia Italian and the cooking show at miso. BBQ at the beach daily was great and tacos at the poolside Rooms- [... read more] stayed family of five in family club swim out. Bunk beds with third bunk pullout and king bed for parents. Loved the swimout. Great for kids to swim while parents are still trying to get ready. There is a gate on the patio for safety for little ones. Family club facilities-fyi were only available to those staying in family club. Great splash pad with small slides, playground and clean kids club facility for babysitting. Felt safe to leave our kids there for a few hours. Kids under four cannot be left at kids club. Kids loved the pirate buffet for kids and ice cream parlour. Push cars available to sign out for little ones. Received a gift in the room - pirate stuffy and kids slippers if you ask. Grounds- well kept, lush gardens, lots of pools , very clean. Shows and entertainment at night were good

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect. The food was amazing, the staff at the resort were excellent. Only thing we would like to see is handrails on the stairs for the less able bodied people.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Not a 4 Star

The rooms were basic, the pools were nice. However the food was very poor. The buffet was always the same and not that great. the house red wine was undrinkable. The restaurants were disappointing - the food was often served cold or undercooked. We were also required to make reservations for the restaurants and we needed to call 2 or 3 days in advance to get a reservation earlier than 9pm. However, every time we ate in these restaurants they were more than half empty. The adult pool bar only  [... read more]had one bartender so it was usually along wait for drinks. It did seem like it would be a good resort for kids as there were lots of kids activities. I would rate this a 3 / 3.5 star. I will not stay here again.

Occidental Cozumel: Beautiful resort

The Hotel resort was impeccable. The food was very good. Restaurants a la carte not very interesting. The $500 dollars savings at the Resort as offered was not as described, it was only discounts. People are very nice.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Jan 4-18, 2017

The hotel is located 6 blocks from the Malecon. Easy walking distance. The local buses are very easy to get around on from this location. The hotel staff was very friendly and were always helpful. Food was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to PV.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Disappointment

When we got there we had to wait in line to check it. There were only 4 groups ahead of us and check in took 1 hour. Another line up in the morning for breakfast for about 20 minutes. No variety to the food. same at each breakfast and supper buffet. You can not book the ala carte restaurants. More lineups. Waited around 40 minutes for lunch 1 day at the grill only to be told that they were all out of the kebabs. They had only been open for about 2 hours. Housekeeping was good. Too much  [... read more]emphasis on partying there and not much on the day to day service.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Jan 2017

This was our 2nd time at this Resort. We absolutely love it. The Staff was kind and tentative. Our room was well stocked and clean.The food was very good with lots of variety. We loved swimming to the bar in the pool. We also loved snorkleling in the warm ocean. The beach is sandy and clean. We can't wait to return,

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Glorious Get-Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Secrets Playa Mujeres resort. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spotless and the service was outstanding. The food was scrumptious although we were disappointed in the Seaside Grill which wasn't as formal for dinner as we were expecting - many quests were dressed up only to be sat beside guys in bathing suits and baseball caps.
