Zel Cozumel: Great place to vacation.

The hotel was very clean the rooms were large. The beach was absolutely beautiful. There was always things in the buffet that you really liked. They also had a bar and grill where you could get chicken wings, hamburgers, nachos etc. We purchased the golf package but you still had to rent your cart and take a cab to the course which was an extra 50 US dollars a day I felt that wasn't fair at all. I don't think they should allow to people eat at the pool bar I noticed some people were washing their hands in the water after eating chicken wings.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Nice Getaway

Well kept hotel. Rooms were spacious and the hammocks on the balcony were great for relaxing. Slides into the pool were fun but the pool bar is small. No swim up bar in the pool by the ocean which was disappointing. Some things in the resort were hard to find like the buffet. The spa is at the resort next door. Food was good as was the drink service on the beach. Overall nice resort, just an odd layout and no night life.

Grand Oasis Palm: Good resort

The beach is beautiful! And the food was good! But some staff can be rude and just don't seem to happy to be working there.its suppose to be a family resort but yet has a lot of bars and restaurants that kids not not allowed at. Not happy at all with the air Canada rep! He flat out lied to us about several different things when we booked a catamaran one major one saying it would not be a booze cruise and that's all it was as we were traveling with our 3 small children we were not happy about tha [... read more]t!

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Good overall resort

The hotel is very beautiful. Grounds are well kept. Service was very good. Rooms are very nice,clean and well kept. Ocean views are breathtaking. Restaurants and buffet food is good to excellent. Drawbacks at the resort are very cold pools and small rocky beach. The beach is good for those who snorkel as the water is crystal clear with many different types and colours of fish. Grand Sunset Princess: Very Nice Resort

Just got back from a week at this resort - very nice. I'm 27 and went with my younger sister and my mom. About an hour drive from Cancun airport. Very big (lots of walking) resort (2 lobbies, 4 buffets, 8 restaurants, big pool in center and smaller long pools in between room buildings and center pool). Spacious bedroom. Food was great! Japanese restaurant was a nice performance. Staff were all friendly and entertainment staff were fun. Beach was nice. We went to Coco Bongo Friday nice - cool nig [... read more]htclub and rope/bungee performance. Nexus staff told us of an extra excursion fee afterwards - so make sure you know what you're buying. As always and everywhere, be safe when leaving the resort and going into Playa del Carmen.

Villa Mexicana: Very nice location

Very good location, very close to beach. If and that's a big IF you have the right room, you will have a decent vacation. Initially we had a very bad room...musty, dark, no balcony. Luckily we were given a better room when I told them I couldn't stay in that room for an entire week! Good water pressure and hot water but the air conditioning cut out on us a couple times. However the maintenance staff was available immediately to fix the issue. There are no refrigerators in the rooms but read o [... read more]n trip advisor to check at the reception desk for styrofoam coolers but apparently none were available even after 5 days and a steady turnover of rooms. I gave up asking at the desk but the maintenance man was able to locate one for us! We also did not appreciate the lounge chair games. The chairs were claimed the night before! Some individuals claimed their loungers for the entire week even though some days they were not even at the resort during the day! Some individuals have been visiting this resort for many years and I feel that some favortism was in progress here. Let me conclude with saying that this resort is very close the beach and it is one of the best. Gentle waves and very soft sand and clear warm water. The views and sunset is incredible.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Wonderful Time

Royal Decameron was delightful spot nice lawns, palm trees, clean pools & very friendly staff everywhere. Clean rooms and all areas, common areas dated (cushions have been well-loved) but great friendly people (Canadians mostly), many returning year after year. Good food overall. Close to cute town, evening shows were top-rate for costuming/choreograpy. All very casual/family friendly. Hola!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: The Royalton Cancun Riveria exceeding my expectations!

The Royalton is fantastic! The property is modern, clean and beautiful. The service was great and the staff friendly and accommodating. The food in the buffet is the best I have had at an all inclusive and the variety and quality is top notch. Even things like fish carpaccio, sushi and sashimi were so fresh. I loved the adult only Hideaway section with its own pool, beach, bars and restaurant. You have access to the resorts 9 other restaurants and all the pools, bars, night club and ent [... read more]ertainment. The family section also looked great with an amazing water park for the kids. The grounds of the entire resort is beautiful and everything is walkable and close to the beach. There is nothing else immediately around the resort so also very safe. Bonus that it is about 20 minutes from the airport but not too close as to hear planes all day. Our Trip Central Again, Marnie Savic was great. This is the 3rd trip I have booked on Trip Central and the agents are very patient and committed to helping you find exactly what you want. It is one of the best all inclusive resorts I have been to and I would recommend it to everyone with or without kids.

Riu Vallarta: Best place

We just got back from Riu Vallarta, it was very clean, food was great and the animation team was a lot of fun, never a dull moment if you were looking for excitement. beach was wonderful, drinks served right on the beach, it was a really good holiday, I would definetly go back her next holiday and probably stay ten days, Highly recommended..... nothing but good things here, Karen

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Very Family Friendly

Great layout, with most rooms facing ocean. Generally not too hard to find a chair, if you aren't picky about its location relative to pool. Italian a la carte was our fave, with well made pasta dishes (better than buffet). Mexican at the buffet was same if not better than restaurant version, where fajita meat was dry. French resto duck dish was amazing, but adults only. Loved how they did not overbook the a la cartes so you could take your time (we assume this was why). Desserts were good a [... read more]ll around, especially ice cream quality. Coffee was a bit disappointing compared to other resorts we've tried in the region. Not the newest resort, but upkeep is good given its age. Service was usually very good, barring breakfast buffet where it is seat yourself and staff stuggle to keep up with the whole resort eating in one place (not their fault). I'd highly recommend this to a friend with kids - look for their 1/2 price deal for children. We traveled as a couple and paid more than my in-laws family of 4!

Allegro Cozumel: Beautiful Resort Don't Go For the Food!!

We stayed at this resort from Jan 16-23rd. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the weather was fantastic. All the staff were always working very hard everywhere you looked. Fantastic service from Darwin at the Pool bar and keeping us always topped up with fresh drinks. As well Alejandro at the buffet and snack bar, always keeping us smiling and laughing. The beach was nice on a bit of a hill and deep when you go into the water. We enjoyed snorkeling just in this area. The only real complai [... read more]nt we had was that the hotel was not at full capacity but there was ALWAYS a line up at the buffet. The food in the buffet was not up to par for a supposed 4 star resort. I have had better food in Cuba. The A La Carte restaurants that we went to, Italian and Mexican again were not up to par. I left after 1 week thankful to not have to eat anymore food from the buffet. We took our son to swim with the dolphins at Chakanaba and it was fantastic! The park was beautiful and the food that was included at the restaurant with our pass was the best we had all week. The rooms were clean but walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours easily. We would not return simply because of the buffet, more because every time you went in there were tons of empty tables but always a huge line up. And Food quality was poor.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: It was ok

Hotel room had a bad musty oder, we ran out of hot water 3 times, toilet wouldn't flush on a few occasions and had to get someone in to fix the air conditioning. Saw an employees spit on the ground while he was working behind the bar by the pool, and at the 24 hr snack bar the Bartenders would rather be on there phone then serve you. Not a great experience. Would not return

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing location

Loved the setting & surroundings from the first day on. With a few disappointments the first day, the food just got amazing afterwords. The people were amazing, the friendliness of the Mexican people was just great. :) The ocean was sometimes a little "rough", but just so amazingly beautiful. Our Favorit was the beach and the ocean, that's why you go there... ;)

El Cozumeleno Beach: Excellen resort!!

We stayed here with our 2 young kids (5 and 8 years old)and absolutely loved it! Room was incredibly big with a nice balcony overseeing the ocean. Very clean throughout the resort and grounds are well maintained. The food from the main restaurant was good. Every day there was a selection of fresh fish, seafood, chicken or beef from the grill. Kids loved the beach, pools, mini putt, snorkelling, and feeding the fish off the pier. We would definitely recommend this resort!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Beautiful Resort!

I was very impressed with the whole experience there. It was our first all inclusive and everything was perfect! The staff went above for everything we needed and the rooms and grounds were clean and very well kept. I would definitely refer them to friends and family. The only thing which we found difficult was no elevators.

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Excellent resort

This resort was very clean and the grounds were kept nice and comfortable. The workers seemed like they enjoyed working there. There is some construction going on to improve the decking and the floor of the restaurant by the beach but they worked around it as to not interfer too much with the guests.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: WOW...amazing vacation at a wonderful resort!

Well, where to start? This resort is wonderful! Great layout, four total different environments, plus the beach. Family and kids pool and area (just walked over to see because we are all adult siblings with spouses and our mother) Next section, just off the lobby is a huge pool used by all ages (weren't many kids though?) Water aerobics were awesome! Big shout out to Augustine for that! Villa Marina Restaurant is right beside this pool, buffet during the day and a la carte restaurant at night. N [... read more]ext section, other side off the lobby is the swim up / party bar. So much fun there! The bartenders (here, and everywhere really) just love to joke around with guests! Lots of fun activities here during the day and at night. Foam Party is on Wednesdays, don't miss it! Other great shows and contests too, some dancing at night around the bar...just great fun! Last section (down by the Privilege Section) is a large pool that anyone can use or sit around, the beach chairs at this area are only for Privilege though. This pool has The Creperie Restaurant by it, only opens for lunch and dinner. This area is quieter, we really liked this pool. One thing to note, when you check in, you will receive a Towel Card. Towel Booth is located by the large pool off the lobby and only opens at 8 am. You give them your card and receive a beach towel, then get out to where you want to sit for the day (pool or beach) and put your towel on a chair to reserve it, do this early. No one will touch it (most of the time) and you can go eat or whatever then come back, maybe leave a small personal item to save it like a sandal or sunscreen. Little tip: when leaving the pool or the beach for the day, go exchange it for a clean towel that you can bring back to your room for the next day. We usually hit the breakfast buffet at 7 am (opens at 6 am but only for Continental breakfast) after putting our towels out to save our chairs. The main buffet is called Casa del Mar and is breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and dinner buffet but is "themed" differently each night. All the A La Carte restaurants are situated beneath the lobby around Casa del Mar. No reservations allowed except for Sensai, which only takes reservations for the day of, starting at 11 am (be there earlier or you'll miss out) The best part of this resort is the staff! Wonderful people everywhere. Shout outs to Nacho our server at Casa del Mar one night, funny and does tricks too! Ricardo our bartender was great by the pool one day! Augustine was my wife's favourite! I liked the girl in the blue bikini that had the Tequila shots in the squeeze bottle (didn't get her name :( ) The staff cleaning the rooms were amazing, always smiling when you pass them, "Hola, morning!" was heard so often. Every second day we got them to do up the room by just taking off the Don Not Disturb sign, and each day we got a different little animal made out of towels! Two swans kissing (it was our 10th wedding anniversary), then a bunny rabbit, and lastly a wonderfully detailed crab...holding the TV remote! haha We tipped fairly often, US $1 bills are best, or maybe $20 pesos for a round of drinks, we chose to leave $2 or $3 US on the pillow for the maids. Didn't tip every single time but with such great service and everything free it was worth it. If you have any pesos left before leaving maybe consider seeking out a grounds worker and reward them for their tireless work keeping this resort so clean and kept up! The beach is nice, sand is made of coral so is always cool and wonderfully fine and soft. Yes, there is seaweed but the tractor goes back and forth constantly cleaning and is a natural part of this ocean area. Walk over it and into the water...feel with your feet for a Conch shell! Definitely do some kind of excursion, we took a taxi to Puerto Morelos and ate at Pelicanos Restaurant on the beach...amazing ceviche and different Mexican beers! Shopped the little Mayan Flea Markets for some souveners. Another day we booked an excursion to snorkel with the sea turtles at Akumel, then walked and swam in the underground Cenotes (Seh-no-tays)...trip not to be missed! All in all, this was an amazing vacation. Myself, my 3 sisters and our spouses along with our mother were able to have the family vacation of a lifetime...don't wait until you miss the opportunity to have the time of your lives! Riu Flamingos: Great Holiday

Just returned from 14 days at Riu Jalisco,had a fabulous time.Our only complaint was our assigned room after check in.Had it rectified following day.my second stay here in a year.Great hotel,great service and good value.Beautiful grounds and beach and spotless will definitely go back and had great service from Laura at Trip Central 🤓

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: So very disappointed with Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa

We paid for Deluxe suite and got a Standard room first night. They would not give us a Deluxe until we showed them our paperwork. Thank God we took it with us. My husband got food poisoning the very first day. We had no hot water, and the toilets would not flush. Not great with food poisoning. Third day our new unit (we moved from Standard to Deluxe) flooded and we had to use towels to stop it from coming right through the unit. Fifth day flooding again, and asked for a room change. They [... read more] were going to move us to our sons building, but our son's unit flooded also and they had black mold coming down the wall. They took the unit we were to get. That unit turned out to have a spider invasion. One spider was the size of a bread plate and took ten minutes to kill. On the eighth day our grandson (1 and 1/2 years old) got really sick and was taken to the doctors. The buildings we stayed in should have been condemned and would have been if we were in Canada. The wood frames on the doors were rotted and covered with what looked like a plastic paint. The tiles were broken and peaces missing in both the rooms. When the kids moved out of their room because of mold, the painters came in and painted it and rented it out that evening. The food was not good and was the same every day. There was only two places worth eating at, and that was the Meditterean and Steak and sea food restaurant in the new area. Honestly this hotel should not be recommended for families. Yes, there are animals, but other than that you are putting them at risk of disease and health issues if you stay in the older area. The only area worth staying at was the Royal Elite, Time Share Area. Sandos is making a lot of money with tourism, surely they could shut the old area down and rebuild it. Highly do not recommend this resort .
