Riu Ocho Rios: Wonderful resort!

We went for a nice relaxing vacation and that is what we had. The beach was wonderful and there was no shortage of chairs. The resort is very large and spread out. Food was good, not outstanding, but good. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing! Always pleasant and welcoming. Would recommend!

Riu Reggae: Great time

Had a great time here. The weather wasn't stellar, however I met lots of interesting people. It's popular with the English. Some of the food was really good. i. e. Jerk chicken on the beach. The à la cartes had some element of buffet in it. Salad bar, desert... The resort is on the smaller side. Close to the airport. The entertainment was hit and miss. I was shortchanged on my trip due to my flight being canceled and missing out on three nights. I hope some sort of compensation is to follow.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Would not go back

The Resort is beautiful. The main buildings and pool are all very nice. The beach on the Jamaica side is not very nice; but the Lady Hamilton side is very nice. For us, the Resort is way too spread out. Too far to walk from the Villa to the main building. We had to rely on the shuttle every time; and even standing waiting on the shuttle was hard on us. Riu Ocho Rios: Ok resort

Great room, small beach with no palapas. No chairs available after 10am on the beach. No drink service on the beach. Lots of people, not a lot of space. Lots of people smoking everywhere (cigarettes and other herbs…) Service with a smile was a rarety… Food was good but no scramble eggs pass 9am and buffet is small for the amount of people at the time at the resort. Ocean Eden Bay: ***** amazing resort *****

Absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with attention to every little detail. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the amenities exceeded expectations. Breakfast was delicious and well presented, and overall the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Very responsive staff!

I have never stayed at a resort with such genuinely helpful staff. They were always happy to assist and greeted us with a smile. Any issue that arose—and there were very few—was resolved quickly and without hesitation. The Grand Palladium also boasts the longest pool I have ever seen. I snorkelled every day, and each time I was happy to see a variety of different and unusual fish.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Another great Riu holiday

Another great holiday at the Riu palace Montego Bay. Nothing to complain about here.great food service and value for money. The resort is spotless and the staff can’t do enough for you. Would recommend this resort and will return for another holiday.

Ocean Coral Spring: Awesome Resort

Very large resort, huge pool, multiple different restaurants and bars, with lots of different food choices, and styles, well prepared. Loved Sakura, the Japanese restaurant. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well cared for. Lots of staff, friendly and hardworking. Caters to family groups on one side, and adults only on the other side, with 2 beach areas, some coral on the one side, but beach clean and raked every day. Riu Montego Bay: All right

The outdoor bathrooms you need more towards the bars in the pools it’s unfortunate for people stocking up on bagels and other breakfast stuff. I was there for five days and I couldn’t get a bagel that I would want it. and the service was great.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Don't Waste Your Money

Our 11 night stay was filled with issues, rudness and ultimately a very disappointing vacation. At the end of the stay the hotel tried to scam us out of an additional $750 usd. We made previous arrangements to have a local tattoo artist come and do some worm and upon arrival he was denied entry although he had been granted entry previously. This hotel does not care about the local people only about making money off of them.

Riu Ocho Rios: Perfect Vacation

Exceeded expectations. From check in to check out the resort did everything right!! Room was spacious, clean and well stocked. Meals well presented, varied and plentiful. Grounds very well kept. Public areas clean. Lots of room on the beach or at one of the pools. Incredible, professional staff at every encounter.

Great hotel, the staff was amazing. The beach not nice. Pool area was much nicer. The bathrooms could use a face-lift. The beds were very comfortable. The food was good but not the best for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel was very beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I did not like the set up of the whole bathroom. For me that can be a deal breaker. The buffet was good for breakfast and lunch but for dinner not as good as the a' la carte restaurants. Definitely there's room to improve their whole menu.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great resort

Well looked after, no hot water and only had rain shower head was not good for females, one night got ill lasted 12 hours food was not to temperature at buffet al a carte were great the staff were all great

Ocean Coral Spring: Great Family Resort

The hotel was a 4 out of 5. It was clean and modern. Lots of great amenities. Some staff, especially in the the bowling alley, were friendly others were less friendly. Seemed distracted. The food was excellent. Great quality, tons of options even for kids. Pools were great, shallow, great for kids or walking with Pina colada. Beach was fine but random rocks in the beach where you could cut yourself.

Riu Reggae: Zero Privacy in a “Luxury” Suite – Felt Unsafe the Entire Stay

We booked what was supposed to be the most luxurious option available — the Junior Suite Oceanview — and instead spent the entire stay feeling exposed and unsafe. Housekeeping and hotel staff has this weird habit of opening the door after only two knocks, without waiting for a response. The bed is directly visible from the entrance, so this felt like a blatant invasion of privacy. It happened more than once and left us constantly on edge. Yes, there are red/green door tags — but if you for [... read more]get to place one, staff still attempt to enter. Shockingly, there is no interior safety latch on the door. In any well-run hotel, especially at this price point, a physical latch is a basic, non-negotiable security feature. This room had none. The result? If you don’t hear the knock — or are asleep, showering, or changing — anyone can walk straight in. That is not luxury. That is unacceptable. We didn’t complain during the stay because this didn’t feel like a one-off mistake — it felt structural and cultural, something baked into how the property operates and not easily fixed in the moment. Instead of relaxing, we were constantly alert, listening for knocks, and double-checking the door. For a so-called top-tier room, this lack of basic privacy and security is a deal-breaker. If personal space, dignity, or feeling safe in your room matters to you, do not book this hotel. Credit where it’s due: TripCentral and Sunwing did offer a good deal for the busy Christmas season — but no discount is worth feeling exposed in your own room.

Couples Tower Isle: Like coming home

This property celebrates its history. If you are looking to feel transported to the 1950s, this is for you. Some areas are a little run down, but it hardly seem to matter. I had wonderful conversations with some of the staff who truly want guests to have a fantastic time and take pride in where they work. One of my favourites was with a sous chef, who offered to take me on the kitchen tour next time. If that is not a reason to go back, I don’t know what is. The grounds are beautiful, and an off chance remark made to a gardener while I was examining a flower became a 40 minute lesson on the island’s horticulture. This happened outside the scheduled grounds tour. The food is fantastic. The buffet always surprised me with its variety of Jamaican and international offerings. The a la carte restaurants served plates that almost seemed to pretty to eat. Everything was delicious. For those interested there were lots of GF options and they took food allergies seriously. The rooms were spotless, though we didn’t spend much time in ours. Most of the day was spent walking the grounds, at the pool, on the beach or on the island. We collapsed into bed before midnight so we could be outside all day.

Amazing hotel! True 5 star resort! A 10 for outstanding performance. Room, clean, resort clean, amenities amazing, staff amazing except at the customer service desk, needs some work on attitude. Overall amazing

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Great Resort

This hotel is a quiet resort with a wonderful beach area. The staff are excellent, friendly and very accommodating. We receive an upgrade to premium room, which had a king size bed and a view of the ocean. If you want a relaxing trip this is the place to be.

Sandals Royal Plantation: Fantastic All-Inclusive Experience!

The service, food and butlers were awesome! Only drawback was the entertainment was either great or not so great. It was too early in the evening and only lasted an hour. The pool was small but again, wasn’t an issue. It was wonderful that we could also go to the Ochi and Dunn’s River resorts. Rooms are dated but comfortable.
