Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Would visit again!

The resort was clean and staff were always accommodating and polite. Food was awesome, you never went hungry. We were upgraded to a suite free of charge at check in and the room was beautiful! I would stay again. Abraham in the disco bar was awesome, we spent many nights at the bar talking to him. He was able to give us tips on what to do when we wanted to leave the resort to go to such places as the market. There is a city bus that runs every 2 mins that took us everywhere we wanted to go and i [... read more]t was only $1 us. The disco bar opened at 6, there were pool tables and card tables you could sit at and then the disco started at 11. It was open 6pm-2am and always adults only. There were multiple pools. The pool on the first level was adults only that contained cabanas and a swim up bar. The rest of the pools were kid friendly on the main level.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Terrible resort, beautiful place

I would never recommend this resort to anyone! They try to rope you into a situation like a time share the very first day you arrive. The food was gross and the selection sucked! My husband pretty much lived off hot dogs and hamburgers all week! You can't ever get a reservation for the restaurants. The elevators took forever, the staff and service sucked, the stair ways were gross and dirty! The adult pool closes at 5:00pm, and the bathrooms for that area are f***ing nasty! I felt like I was going to catch something using them! Every time you turn around there's rules you can't do this, you can't do that. Yeah all inclusive my butt, you have to pay for room service, unless you spend $30,000 usd on the package to become a crown member! We got charged 6 peso for making local call to make arrangments to be picked up and taken to the airport the phone call was 1 minute long. My husband and I will never stay at this resort again! Trip central was amazing to book with though.

Crown Paradise Club: Disoppointed from this hotel

We traveled to crown paradise club, Puerta Vallarta, Mexico on September 2017 for 8 days from the 10 th to the 17 of sep, 2 adults and 3 kids, 6 yrs, 3 yrs and 14 months. My and my husband had chosen this hotel Because there is a water park and slides. There was a lot of others hotels and packages less expensivebut we went with this one. Package per adult was almost $1100. Food was ok! Not much variety, same thing almost everyday, something even they served same thing for breakfast for lunch o [... read more]n the same day. Also Me and my baby boy we're sick, we called a doctor to the room and we paid $US100. My son was vomiting and had diarrhea with fever as well. Dr said he had Gastroenteritis which is an intestinal infection...So he had food poisoning. I had diarrhea and sharp stomach pain. Me and him we were sick for 2 days. One of those days we did not go out of the hotel room. We stayed in a family room with 2 bulk beds, on of the beds had ants, we asked them to change the bed sheets one night and second night there was still ants. We asked them to change the room, they did. Also air conditioner was not working in our first room. We had a problem in the air conditioner in our second room after we changed it, but they fixed it right away. I have to say that kids club was very good, a lot of activity for kids, both my girls loved it and loved their teachers. Water park was amazing but they need to add more safety to it. Be prepared to pay tips and set up a budget for that, they expect tips everywhere in bars, restaurant, housekeeping. We left tips almost every meal before I got sick. I need to say the French a la carte restaurant was very good, you need to try it. To end my review I want say that we have been to Cuba and Dominican Republic, never been sick on vacation, never felt homesickness, never wanted to go back home 2 to 3 days before vacation ended, only in puerta Vallarta, Mexico.

Except for problems with the air conditioner in the room, I found the resort was fine. The grounds were well kept and clean, the pool was nice and clean, with adequate lounge chairs, good bars and pool service too. The beach was groomed daily and was fine. Good amenities. I found the food in the main buffet to be rather plain and uninteresting. The restaurants were very good. The room was fine except that the air conditioner stopped working on the fourth night. No matter how I set it, the [... read more] temp would not get colder than 25 C, and it would blow moist air into the room. This caused condensation to form and the floor was soon covered with water, and everything in the room including the bed spread and my clothes were soon damp. I called room service and they sent up the maintenance man. He didn't speak English and didn't understand what I was trying to tell him. He assured me in broken English that the air conditioning was working because it was blowing air, and the condensation in the room was caused by an open balcony door. I couldn't get across to him that it was blowing moist warm air instead of cool dry air, and I kept the balcony door closed at all times. I had to shut off the air conditioner for the next three days to allow the room to dry out. Due to the warm and damp room, I didn't sleep well for the rest of the vacation. If it wasn't for the air conditioner crapping out, It would of turned out into a very good vacation, but unfortunately, because they were having very hot and humid conditions, the room was unbearable at night, and there was no place to cool off outside during the day. The people I was travelling with had no problem with their room's air conditioner. I can't really recommend this resort because major problems like the air conditioning was not dealt with properly.

Would like to say that we were disappointed in the resort. First of all . It was our anniversary , Had made mention of this to our travel agent, Nothing was done at all. No acknowledgment from management at the resort. We normally celebrate our anniversary in mexico. At various resorts. This was the first time that we were not acknowledged. It wouldn't of cost the hotel any more or less to acknowledge with a special dinner. Sorry Jenn, This never should of happened. Yes I understand that September is a slow time, But come on they could of done more for people to be involved instead of walking and pacing the resort. Food was not good. Same things everyday. We chose to go out and eat outside of the resort, I think that all inclusive is not the best if you dont drink. Very disappointed in the time that we left for departure pickup at the hotel. We were out at noon from the room when they could of left us until at least 2:00 pm. I will never take a flight again that is not direct to and from. Its too long of a day.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Like a man made paradise

This hotel resort is really amazing, everything you need is there, and most of all, you won't get hungry even in the middle of the night. Their service staffs are courteous, and if you encountered a little problem inside the room, they will send people to fix it right away. Their nightly shows were really entertaining. Thumbs up to Crown Paradise Resort Club. 👍👍👍

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Family-oriented resort

Our group of 2 families really enjoyed our vacation at Crown Paradise. The food was great at the buffet and also at the ala carte dining. The activities everyday were well organized and the staff were amazing in their organization and how they managed to encourage guests to participate. The beach was great. The pools were always well kept. I highly recommend this resort.

- Hotel was clean, staff was friendly - Would suggest more shade around the pool area - In the morning staff located at the Mexican restaurant could be less pushy with their sales - activities for children were great, a lot of choices to keep them entertained

Sure, a few things could be improved upon but that's mostly due to the age of the hotel. The people are great and it's really good to see familiar faces. Food pretty good. Can't wait to go back next year.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Ideal for kids of all ages

The resort is really designed for families. Great pools and kids club. Baby club needs some updating and tighter rules re: ratio of adult caregivers to child. Food was ok, rooms were ok. Very good location.

Pros It's a nice resort with a good layout. Kid friendly with lots to do. The staff are lovely. Breathtaking views. Within walking distance of attractions. Italian and Mexican restaurants are delicious! Cons The elevators are horribly slow when they're not broken. When we were there the zip lining was closed down for more than half our trip without warning which was disappointing since that's one of the activities our son was looking forward to doing. Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Wonderful Staff! They make you feel welcomed

We arrived around noon on Thurs Apr 21..check on took a long time but they were very nice. We didn't want a noisy room so he took his time to ensure he found us a quiet room which we really appreciated. Our maid Nelly was fantastic! Every day she left wash clothes folded like teddy bear or a duck or some animal for our kids. At the pool bar was the most magical. We would return for this reason most. They treated us so well all week and made special drinks even for the kids. They anticipated our every need smiling and attentive. Always so energetic and friendly all the pool bar and buffet staff are a pleasure. In the buffet area, Isreal and Rubical are the most amazing servers and worked hard with a smile every day. They remembered us from last visit and greeted our family every day like their welcomed family members. The pool was always clean, the beach while beautful was red flag for most of the week undertow and big waves .not good for young kids. The shows were ok and the rooms were nice.. Beds hard though. The only real problem I had was the food. Sometimes at the buffet for supper time we couldn't find much that was tasty. Most foods didn't taste quite right and even tasted odd. The meats were dry or often bland. The Ice cream was awesome though! I was sick with an upset stomach all week and not sure if I ate an undercooked burger at the pool area or if it was something else. The pool food often the temperature wasn't regulated and lids were left open with food exposed in the hot sun . I had been to the Riu in Mexico back in Oct and had no problem with food or tummy issues what so ever there...only here. Also sometimes it was difficult to get the guy stocking our room mini fridge to come with water each day. I left a note asking for more water please but he only came after I called down to the front desk and several hours later . 2 water bottles only allowed per room they said over the phone. Yet there were 4 of us in the room . You can go downstairs and get water at the buffet ..just bring your own container. The resort has free Wii fii throughout which is great. Overall ..because of the outstanding pool bar staff we love this resort..but I wish the food were better. The kids loved the watersides the beach and the guy dressed up like Pokemon walking around. The lifeguard at the beach was very good at watching everyone he was fantastic. The bell boys were great, so was the professional photography we had done at the resort .our Kids loved what they've done with Jetix with the ping pong tables, video games and movie theater..awesome! There were vendors in the lobby several nights if you wanted souvenirs.. just steer clear of the pushy time share people..I wish they would stop time share people right in the lobby you have to walk by them every day to get to the main pool area There were 2 out of 3 elevators broken most of the week.. it was difficult to get to our room so we walked 5 flights in a hot stairwell a lot ..and 2x the elevator stopped in between floors while people on it..1 time people had to jump down to safety.. many were scared.. We met the manager the last night when there was a problem on our bill being double charged for room service when we had paid cash..but he quickly credited us the difference and fixed this once we spoke to him and not just the front desk staff. The manager was great. Overall, we were happy here. We have been here 6 times because we feel welcomed here, safe and love that the staff remember us and treat us so well. Amazing food and activities every day. The crowd was also quite varied and diverse. The server Augustin was a real hit with us and all the staff were friendly and outgoing. Rooms were pretty standard but all we really needed them for was sleeping.

Crown Paradise Club: What a disorganized and disfunctional resort!

This hotel looks amazing in the photos, boasts amazing reviews of the kid-friendly amenities, and seems like a perfect place for both children and adults alike to unwind in comfort. Unfortunately, this understaffed poorly housekept, non-hospitable resort is far from the fantasy portrayed in its descriptions. The rooms and hallways were poorly looked after leaving garbage from past and present guests for days at a time. The pools, at times smelling of urine, were glazed over with sunscreen whi [... read more]le the poolsides were overcrowded with empty cups and other guest's trash. Reservations at the a la carte restaurants were a nightmare to book as the reservations desk would infrequently answer the phone when called while conceierge personnel refused to assist as the restaurants were "not their responsibility". Noise is out of control; children swarming the halls daily past midnight with no security to ensure tranquility in the sleeping areas. Walls are paper thin and equipment noise both on and off the resort hummed and crackled at all hours. The list continues... Overall, if your wishing for a Mexican Chucky Cheese that provides inadequate service, mediucocre cuisine, and second rate children themed entertainment - this is it. Take your spouse and relax....

The cleanliness of the resort was very good. My wife and I had a great time. Service was quick to get to us when we had a problem with the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, Jose was a great waiter The food was good but a better assortment at the buffet would be great. Too much chemicals in the pool but I could see why as some people never left it to go to the bathroom Overall great time thank you

Crown Paradise Golden: Crown palace golden

The hotel is an excellent value for your dollar. The food was excellent and there was a good variety for everyone. The room was a deluxe ocean front,very clean and polite staff. The week we selected was just after spring break and before the Easter week celebration so it wasn't crowded. We also had access to the sister hotel next door,which for family with children. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a 1 week stay,very relaxing and lots of fun.

We travelled as a group of 4 Adults & 6 kids. Overall the experience was good. I would rank it a 4 star Positive - Great weather, Great Value as the kids we free, friendly staff, A-la-carte restaurants food was very good Negative - Pool water too cold, lunch buffet needs more variety...especially being in Mexico (more Mexican cuisine) Kids club is OK. We had a wonderful stay at this resort the room was beautiful and clean and no smell at all the balcony of the ocean view was spectacular the staff were very wonderful and helpful and it was a joy to watch all the children playing on the beach and seeing families connect together I would like to have seen more adult entertainment in the evening but overall it was terrific
