Virgin Hotels Las Vegas: Nice Enough but Overpriced

Long line up to get checked in, even at 2am. But the staff were really friendly and helpful when it was our turn. Our room did not get cleaned the first day, not a big deal I just went to the cleaning station and grabbed some clean towels. I think the extra $50 a day for use of the facilities is a little much especially if you don't have any interest in using the pools. Find somewhere else to eat if you are price conscious. During our stay, the pool area that was close to our room was closed for the entire week. If we wanted to use the pool, we had to walk around the casino to the far side of the building. I found the bathroom very dark and our shower sprayed a pool of water on the floor while showering. I found this hotel out of the way. Everytime we wanted to go anywhere, it was a $10.00 taxi ride.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Lovely Resort

Rooms were very nice and kept clean, food was excellent, we travelled with two teens who have celiac and are gluten free. Most of the restaurants were very good about this. My only suggestion would be there needs to be more shade options on the beach. There is plenty of room to build more of the shade huts and there needs to be 10 times the amount.

Hard Rock Megapolis: good and bad

This resort is beautiful and in a great central location, it is in the heart of the city of panama, beautiful sky line, close to the old town, and great presentation. The biggest problem is customer service, and the elevators which need 2 weeks just to figure out. A few days I was there over the Easter weekend was so annoying as the main buffet was closed for other ppl who wanted to pay more to eat there! We paid for an ALL INCLUSIVE!!! WHY IS THAT NOT INCLUSIVE???? Customer service is so lackin [... read more]g that its a JOKE! No one speaks English, and they dont care to try to help you out if you dont. The pick your plate up off your table while you are eating just because they want to clear up their section of tables.... CRAZY. Panama itself is beautiful but the training and staff took away from this experience.

Staff very friendly and helpful... lots to do within the hotel .. we were happy to see that there is a shuttle to the strip... saves steps and taxi rides. we went to see Rascal Flatts in the Joint.... nice venue.... drinks were a little pricey but the show was amazing

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Great vacation!

We spent 1 week feb 10th and had an amazing time! I don't usually swim much on tropical vacations but the ocean was the best with no rocks or seaweed therefore I swam every day. We had a deluxe gold room with lagoon view which had amazing sunsets. The food was good and premium drinks were great! The hot tub in the room was a great way to end the day. We used our resort credits to rent a Bali bed on the beach for 5 days which included wine and some appetizers and I had 4 messages. You have to pay [... read more] 20% of the cost which was 320.00 total. I thought this was fair considering 1 massage can cost an average of 100.00. The only complaints would be the size of our balcony which was two tiles wide so smallest we have ever seen. We expected there to be more dancing/music in the evening considering it is the hard rock. There was not one band and the DJ played 3 nights but didn't start until approx 11pm. Overall a great vacation and definitely would recommend this resort.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Great resort

Beautiful resort with quick and efficient check in and out. Beach close by and very clean. Easy to use resort credits. The Spa is clean and staff are wonderful. Room service was fast and hot. I would definitely go back to this resort in a heartbeat.

Hard Rock Megapolis: Incredible hotel !!!

I can not begin to tell you what a great time I had !! Room with balcony on 54th floor with an amazing view of harbor. Food was very good and service was friendly and helpfull. I will go back for sure

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: About this resort.

Excellent service, restaurants, amenities, rooms overall a great resort. Not a great place for seniors who would like some peace at night as it can be quite noisy. We did enjoy our stay. Christian at the front desk was very helpful when we first registered.went beyond the call of duty. Give him a raise.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Wow what a trip!

This is one of the best resorts we've been to. The resort credits you receive gave us a massage a day for 7 days! The food, except for Brazilian, was very good. A pizza oven by the pool, wow! And alcohol was good quality (except for house wine). Spa was UNBELIEVABLE and staff was very friendly.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Amazing !!

My husband & I had a great stay at the Hard Rock Riviera Mayan, Heaven side. Beaches are not plentiful which is the only downfall. Staff very helpful & great, rooms & pools were also great! No waiting at restaurants. Room service when needed great! One of our better trips. Try & stay in buildings 2 or 3 which are closer to pool area. Building one is a far walk.

Hard Rock Hotel at Universal: Nice Hotel

The hotel is quite nice. The entrance is spacious with a nice lounge area. We stayed in a newly renovated room, but also stayed two years ago and that room was also very nice. Everything is fresh looking and well maintained. The pool is enjoyable and usually always some sort of entertainment. The water taxis to Universal are a great feature and come frequently. Free wifi in the rooms now, which is really handy. Really nothing negative to report.

Hard Rock Megapolis: Good hotel for singles---NOT for Family

Too loud music late at night. Good location and rooms were good. Language is a challenge, most staff do not speak English. Out of 7 days stay we had to call service to restore TV and telephone 5 times. On the 4th night when we were out, our kids room was gutted with water leaking from above. The all inclusive snack bar was abruptly resorted to paying for our afternoon meals without any notice.

Great pools, nice snorkelling on man-made beach, beautiful area!!! Service was under par, poorly organized "vacation planners", resort credits are disappointing, food average. Perhaps these things will improve as this resort is new.

Hard Rock Hotel at Universal: Worth the price

Getting fast passes for Universal Studios makes this hotel well worth the price. The location is perfect for accessing the park. There is early morning access to the Harry Potter theme parks. The rooms were clean, comfortable and attractive. The pool area was a nice refuge from the busyness of the park. We just had breakfast in the Kitchen but it was a very good buffet. Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Great Value for Price

We went to this resort as they were changing over to Hard Rock, but didn't notice any disruption in activities or services, etc. We stayed on the adult only side. Our room was quite nice and had everything we needed. Never a problem with not enough towels or room not being made up. We knew going in that the "beach area" was a man-made lagoon, but actually quite enjoyed that as you could swim in calm water and see (and feed) many fish. Would recommend wearing water shoes though. Food and drinks were very good and there was plenty of variety. Service in the bars and restaurants was also very good. We made sure to always leave a tip for the staff as they work so hard to make sure everyone is having a good time. We only attended a couple of evening shows as we like to get up early in the morning so don't stay up too late. We did enjoy the ones we went to though. I wish I had the energy of some of those entertainment staff! We love the resort credit program! We used ours to do some golfing (which was awesome) and to attend the Chef's Dinner (very entertaining, great food and wine, and hilarious table companions) - no trouble making the bookings either. It's been over a year since our stay, so I hope I haven't forgotten anything. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Beautiful Place to Stay

Loved the ability to have access to an adults only section but access to the offerings of both resorts. I was very sick for about 8 weeks after this vacation, was diagnosed with campylobacter - Public Health called me to trace my activities and to ensure I was taking precautions for avoid the spread. They say it is a risk of traveling abroad, but it was the first time it ever happened to me - It made me second guess my next experience when traveling, but didn't let it stop me.
