Moon Palace Cancun: Completely recommend!

Moon Palace is an incredible stay at one, play at 3 resort! Blown away by 16 restaurants, and only 2 require reservations! So many pools, once the Grand is complete - Wow - a water park! We loved the many sport activities for the kids, plus a trampoline/bouncy castle, large ball that you get inside and bump each other around...The beach is such fine white sand. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel credit is a nice idea too. The only room for improvement we could suggest, [... read more] is an option to have one-on-one information session of the resort, after day 2 we had things down. It was only after we were leaving that we learned of a hotel app that told you the entertainment schedule.

Moon Palace Cancun: Best vacation experience!!

Amazing staff!! So much to do on the resort. 5 star dinning at the I think 9 restaurants:). No reservations to eat!! Never had to wait in line for anything. Never had to fight for a seat at the pool. The grounds are absolutely pristine!! This is our 3 visit to Moon Palace and it will not be our last. Highly recommend this resort!!

Moon Palace Cancun: Another wonderful week at Moon Palace!

This was my 4th time at Moon Palace and again it did not disappoint. A smooth flight, transportation to resort and check in. We did not like our initial room placement and they moved us right at check in. As we had been here before, we knew where we wanted to stay! Although there is construction occurring, we did not mind as we knew the balcony size was better in that section (Grand) than at Nizuc. Room is big, spacious with all the amenities from home you need. Though not really a beach resort, the beach is fine and long to walk. It is the ocean that is not great. Murky waters due to the coral reef. But a pool resort is surely is. Every type from loud and busy to quiet and relaxing. Something for everyone. Great food, top shelf liquor and service was fantastic. They really do go our of their way to make sure you are happy. Sad to have left Moon Palace again this year. Two thumbs up trip for us!

Moon Palace Cancun: Second to none

We are just back from a 7 day stay at the Moon Palace in Cancun, and I must say I have never had service equal to what they provide in any other resort we have stayed at. And there have been many. The resort is large but they make it so easy for their guests to get to and from the other two palace resorts by way of bus or golf cart. I didn't golf but while my husband did I enjoyed a wonderful morning at the spa. Moon Palace Cancun: Amazing resort, staff, programming. beach? weather? proximity to airport?

Every thing about the resort, staff and programming is beyond expectations and we were happily surprised/pleased with how much all levels of staff went to ensure we had an amazing vacation. However, I am going to highlight that this resort does not have a good beach - couple this with cooler weather during December and January, it makes for a poor choice for kids. Cooler weather and lack of a decent beach is an issue I intent to address for the next vacation. Lastly, proximity to the airport meant frequent planes overhead. Moon Palace Cancun: Exceeded our Expectations

We booked Moon Palace for the golf. Our expectatations for the resort itself were not that high because we typically stay at Adults Only Luxury 5 stars. The resort, the grounds, the rooms and service were all outstanding- the golf was great as well :)

I was very excited after speaking with Susan. After she went down 1 month before we did she answered some of our questions. I asked her to book some restaurants for us. She said that she emailed our info. To Moon palace and that it was looked after. When we went down we were disappointed to find out that you can not book a la cart restaurants except for two. When we got there we found out they were already booked. I called Susan and spoke to her that night we arrived. She explained that she w [... read more]ould contact the rep at Moon palace and get right back to us. I never heard from her again. We had to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours to eat dinner every night. I am surprised that Susan did not know this....she should have!!!!!!I I would not recommend Moon palace at Christmas ..it is too busy. Susan explained that our room wouldn't be that far from our kids.. She booked them in the cheapest area at the far end of the resort. She should have explained this. I would have gladly paid more to have them closer. Susan did do a great job putting us in an area with our own pool, The public areas were so busy you couldn't get a seat so the kids had to sit at our pool. Do not go here at Christmas!!!

Beach Palace: excellent resort

The hotel, beach and service were excellent. The food was typical for an AI resort but lots of variety and dining options. the roof top pool and view were awesome. travel from the airport was quick and efficient. option to visit sister Palace resorts was also good. the resort credits are a bit of a production, best for spa and upgraded (marginally) wine list. Trip central did a great job booking and providing information to ensure our trip went smoothly

Moon Palace Cancun: Never disappointing

Second vacation here and only getting better. Great facilities for kids (and lots of space given size of resort). Recent addition of free bicycles to get around resort is awesome, just grab one from a rack and drop off near where you want to go, saves tons of time walking around to various restaurants or waiting for a lobby bus.

Hotel was very clean and rooms we beautiful. Fantastic service from everyone. The food was great. Sunrise side was not open due to a conference and would have liked to try the restaurants there. Great resort and would go back and highly recommend

I want to begin by saying the people and direct staff were very friendly, and accommodating, the servers were welcoming and wonderful. I found the resort too large, very disorganized and very fragmented and the service was average. There seemed to be a disconnect of communication between the three hotels within Moon Palace that often lead to much frustration . Sometimes my room was cleaned other days it was not, sometimes I received clean towels and others day I did not. Beach Palace: Had a great time! Very Relaxing!

The Beach Palace was a very nice clean resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff are great! They are always smiling and very pleasant, always asking how our stay was? Rafael, in the Wok Restaurant, was always smiling and engaging. We enjoyed the Wok, Terrace Grill and the Buffet, however, Bocelli's, I thought was under par and could be improved on. My wife had one of the best cuts off meat ever at the terrace. You could have cut it with a butter knife :). Moon Palace Cancun: Great stay!

The hotel was well maintained and beautiful. The only thing we didn't care for is the size of the resort, we like smaller resorts...not as much walking! The food was great and the rooms were lovely.

Moon Palace Cancun: Perfect spot for a destination wedding

Moon palace was did an amazing job hosting our friends wedding. The hotel was a great place for families to spend the week and the wedding was well organized with stunning scenery. All the resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I loved our stay!

Moon Palace Cancun: Wonderful Resort

Really nice sized rooms and everything worked perfectly. Outdoor washrooms were well kept. Deluxe room balconies are a nice size and we were fortunate enough to have a partial ocean view. Restaurant food was quite good and quick, there was always someone there asking you if you need anything. We loved the brand of coffee they served. It was well worth making a reservation at the golf course for the two restaurants there, they were superior. Unfortunately, there was a bit of seaweed but it wasn't bad & it didn't prevent us from going in the ocean. I would return tomorrow if I could!

Moon Palace Cancun: Wonderful Time!

My sister-in-law and I stayed ay Moon Palace for a destination wedding and had a marvellous time. First of all, I must say that it was the perfect place to have a wedding and obviously many agreed with us as there were so many beautiful weddings taking place every day. We stayed in a new building called the Grand and were amazed by the size and quality of the room. It was clean, well decorated and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The resort was very spacious and there were restaurants, bars, pools and more everywhere you looked. The beach was literally just steps away and was nicely raked and cared for. The food was delicious and the variety was endless. The people who worked there were extremely friendly and always helpful. Overall, I was impressed with the resort and have already talked my husband into going with me the next time. This resort is for everyone, young and old!

Isla Mujeres Palace: Great service/monotonous food

This was a really clean hotel. It is not a huge resort. Kind of intimate. My biggest satisfaction was with the service. Everyone is there to make you happy. Unfortunately, I have travelled to many resorts around the world and this one was a deception for the food. It's not a cheap all inclusive so I was expecting crab, shrimps, lobster, at least one night but no. Food was very well presented but the same seems repetitive. Couldn't get a simple banana for breakfast. The pool is really b [... read more]eautiful and well kept. The beach is small but pretty. We went around the island with a golf cart. It is extremely dirty. There are garbage everywhere. Not at all what I expected. Overall a good, quiet trip. TOO expensive for what the dining offers.

Moon Palace Cancun: Paradise!

This was our first experience as a family (we have 3 children) at an all inclusive resort and boy were we impressed! We stayed at the Moon Palace Sunrise resort and loved every single minute. The staff were more then helpful, respectful and it was obvious that customer service is of the highest priority to most of them. The food was delicious and there was a huge variety offered (even my extremely picky eater found food he loved to eat!). We were extremely tired and hungry when we first arrived, hoping to skip through check in quickly we were talked into an "information session" even though we were reluctant to commit to it (it was at a set time the very next day) we were strongly encouraged to go. When we met with them it was quickly apparent that this "information session" was more of a time share or next trip planning session. This was definitely NOT what we wanted to do (90 minutes of our vacation time we were not interested in giving up) When we said we weren't interested we were lead into an office while staff spoke in the corner with her manager. Finally the manager spoke to us and I just stated firmly but politely that we weren't interested. It was fine in the end but it did but a slight damper on the experience. But I'd have to say that over all we thought the experience was amazing; the view was spectacular, the entertainment was talented and the staff eager to help to make our visit an exceptional one! We loved Javier at the Barracuda steak house...we had the pleasure of his service on our first night and our last night!! We would love to return one day and highly recommend it for families and couples!!

Moon Palace Cancun: My golf vacation

I absolutely loved everything about the resort. The amenities, the people and the cleanliness of the entire area. The food was fresh, diverse and the dining experiences in the numerous restaurants was exceptional. Oh, and the servers: wow, nice people who encourage you to have an exceptional experience when there. I thought the golf courses were exceptional as well. Never disappointed.

Moon Palace Cancun: Overall - OK.

We chose this resort for the golf course - so that worked out well. Overall though....food was disappointing - very much so actually. We would have been in Cuba for all I knew. Customer service makes this resort though. The people are outstanding. Beach terrible (which we know), pools - ok, spa - excellent. No Mexican character...very disappointing from that perspective.
