Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

We both enjoyed the resort, food was excellent, the staff were very accommodating and for the excursions we have done was exciting and the staff overall they look out for your interest and concerns. We both liked Sandals Resort and looking forward doing this again. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Wonderful time!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ochi Sandals, Jamaica mon! The food was fabulous, our room was terrific and the grounds were pristine! The staff bent over backwards to entertain us and were extremely welcoming! We had absolutely beautiful weather for the 7 days we were there and we highly recommend this resort!

Sandals South Coast: Amazing Resot

The resort was fantastic. The food was delicious at all restaurants. Beach was beautiful but not very good for swimming due to sea urchins. Bring watershoes. Staff was friendly and fun. I would definitely go back. Overall it was one of the best resorts I have been to. Disappointed with our private transfer was not there to pick us up on day we were leaving. Good thing I have asked transfer bus to wait.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Amazing Honeymoon!

My wife and I spent a week at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian and were extremely happy with our experience. Even though the bus ride to the resort is a bit long, the views are incredible and the time passes fairly quickly. Once at the resort, we were instantly greeted with a glass of champagne and check in was very smooth. Quick Breakdown: Beach & Pools The resort is not very big so the beach and pools are steps away, which is nice. Can be challenging to get a spot with cover, especially at the main pool so we usually posted up shop at the quieter pool and would head over to the main pool when we were looking to grab a drink & mingle. Overall, no complaints about the beach and pool areas! Food: The food was great and exceeding my expectations. We booked reservations for all 3 restaurants (Indian, Hibachi & Gordon's) and all were fantastic. We had no issues getting a table at any of the other restaurants with no reservation required, since there are so many options at the resort none of them every appeared to be very busy. The lunch options were very good as well, we liked the Jerk Shack and The Mariner had great options as well. Only meal were weren't really a fan of was the Monday Night Beach Party buffet. Many of the restaurants are closed Monday's but some are still open and I would recommend eating there for dinner instead. Service: Both my wife and I found the service to be excellent at this resort and we weren't even Club Level. The front desk would call throughout the week and make sure we were enjoying our stay, the server's were all very friendly and we never met anyone who was rude or tough to deal with. When we were booking this trip, I read some reviews saying the service was slow. We only encountered a few times where this occurred and even then it wasn't that bad at all. You have to remember everybody is on island time! Rooms: We stayed in the Lover's Lagoon Honeymoon rooms. For the price we paid for the week I maybe expected a little more, the room was your average hotel room, nothing very special. However, it was very clean and the bathroom was nice. These specific rooms are some of the cheaper options at the resort so I'm sure if you wanted more elegance you could pay for it. We were basically only in the room to sleep and shower so it was definitely more then adequate for what we needed. I would highly recommend booking JJ's Speedboat Tour! It was an amazing excursion and a great way to see the Caribbean side of the island. We had "No Problem" as our guide and he made the day so much fun and was worth the price of the day trip in itself. Another nice thing is your back at the resort around 2:30 pm to keep the party going at the swim up bar. We also hiked up Pigeon Island which is very close to the resort and provided amazing views of the island. Overall, Sandals Grande was an amazing trip and I would recommend this resort, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion (honeymoon, anniversary, etc.)

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great couple time!

We stayed in the Butler Village and had a private pool. Although it was shared with 3 other rooms in the villa we had the pool to ourselves almost the entire time. Food OK. Of each the meals, portions were very good and then other items not good. It would appear that the cooking vegetables appeared to be quite a challenge. They were not very tasty (or cooked in some cases). Service in restaurants at dinner left little to be desired. For every one smiling person 4 others disengaged. Some areas of [... read more] resort a little dilapidated but there was a spot to chill for everyone depending on what pace of interaction or privacy you desired. Butlers were great! We had Reynaldo and Roger-niel. They were very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Public beach

The booking of the trip was easy when you use TripCentral.ca (and Marnie). The Sandals resort is gorgeous! Great food (never disappointed)! Wonderful staff! Beautiful white sand but not a private beach! We did not realize that Antigua beaches are all public, so there are families, children, people from the cruises and vendors going by non-stop. Not the vacation we were looking for as...We are not pool people, so our only disappointment was the busy beach!

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Excellent Resort

Very clean, staff very polite and looked very happy, good food and very nice atmosphere. Good entertainment they should have variety of music not only reggae music, couple can not dance on reggae music they should have some slow dance music, Cha Cha Cha which more soothing and romantic rather than all the time very loud music. Sandals Negril: A little disapointing

I'll start on a positive for this place. The wait staff at this resort were amazing and extremely friendly, we couldn't ask for better. Now the rest. We were very shocked to find that we didn't have a balcony with our room, when we talked management about this were told this is what you paid for so get over it. A couple that we were traveling with that also booked through you got the same type of room and same response from management. We have been to 5 Sandals resorts over the ye [... read more]ars and have never been treated like this before, when we asked to talk to speak to a superior we were told that they would come and talk to us. This never happened, right up to the last day when we were getting on our bus ride home we were told the same and of course never happened. So we were disappointed with our room and because of the lack of concern by management it put a damper on what should have been a great holiday. We will also air our concerns with top Sandals management, but doubt we will get a response. We will never go to a Sandals again especially since we paid a great deal of money for this.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Excellent Vacation

We stayed at Sandals Grande Antigua from Dec 9-16 2018. This was our first sandals experience. (Our 2nd time in Antigua. 1st time we stayed at Galley Bay). We are 34 and 35 years old. There was a wide range of ages here. Lots of younger couples on their honeymoons, and others around our age. We didn’t use the pool up there, as we like the atmosphere of the beach and the Med pool. Maid service was excellent. Our room was always spotless, our fridge and bar were restocked daily. Turndown service every night, and they always made sure we had enough bottles of water for when we returned to our room from a day and night of drinking! The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The staff does a fantastic job every day to keep the resort looking too notch. They fog for mosquitos late in the day as the sun goes down and it works. Not a single bug bite while we were there. The beach was amazing. Soft white sand, warm but refreshing turquoise water. The beach vendors were always around, but a simple no thanks and they left us alone. I didn’t find them to be rude or relentless at all. Don’t make yourself an easy target - be stern, but nice and they aren’t a problem. I did rent a jet ski one day. they will give you a high price but a little haggling and I got 40 minutes for $40. The food was excellent. We ate at all of the restaurants. Getting an appetizer at one restaurant and having dinner at another is a great way to get multiple visits to the restaurants in. Sushi at soy was great, And the antipasto buffet at Mario’s was awesome. Could have eaten just that for dinner. I always play a lot of beach volleyball when I go away and it did not disappoint here. We usually played for an hour or so in the morning and usually 2hrs in the afternoon. I have to give a shout out to Cara, Sasha, Joiquim, and a huge shout out to “my brother from another mother” - Allen. He matched my energy and level of crazy!! They were all so much fun everyday. Very welcoming, funny and full of energy. We did participate in some other activities as well. Some activities were cancelled due to lack of interest. I wish they would announce the activities to make more people aware that they are happening. Occasionally someone would walk around the pool and talk to some people to see if they were interested in an activity, but they can’t talk to everyone. An announcement at the Med pool would be a much more efficient way. I went out on one of the snorkeling trips. It was pretty rough that morning, and most of the people went back to the boat after 10minutes. A few of us stayed out for the whole time though. The snorkelling was good. Fish everywhere. Big, small, huge. Just had to be mindful of the choppy conditions when going near the coral. The drinks were great, and the bartenders were always happy to make you whatever you wanted. The staff always said hi as they walked by, most were always smiling and happy to talk and help. Be nice to them and you will get the same in return. Overall our first sandals experience was excellent and we really enjoyed it. There have been a lot of negative reviews lately, and we didn’t experience any of those issues or really see any. Everyone is different and expects different and everyone’s stay will never be the same. Some of the complaints are ridiculous and people need to chill out with their complaints about stupid, insignificant things. And some people just go around looking for stuff to complain about. So take some of those complaints with a grain of salt. The resort and beach are gorgeous, the food is really good, the staff are excellent. What more can you ask for.

Sandals Barbados: Fantastic Getaway

Hotel grounds, staff, food, weather was unbelievable. I highly recommend Buch's Steak house and seafood restaurant and the Indian restaurant. Great service. It was truly paradise. No complaints at all.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Nice vacation spot!

We spent one week here and loved it. My only complaint is that the room was a little rundown. When we arrived there was a stain on the carpet in the bedroom and the room could have used a deep clean. Otherwise a nice vacation.

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Sandals Halcyon review

We have been to Sandals Halcyon 7 times, since 2000. The resort is wonderful because of the staff and smaller size. Renovations are complete now and give it a very fresh feel. The food,beach,pools and drinks are everything we ever wanted from a resort.Our agent Nicole Deforest was so helpful and friendly for our last booking, we used her again for our next trip. Tripcentral has the best prices and service!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Beautiful Beaches - Not worth the cost

This was our first time staying at a Sandals. The beach and private island were amazing with the swings, rafts, hammocks and snorkeling. The resort was dated in some areas including the crystal restaurant and showed its age compared to newer places. The buffet was lacking especially with fruit but the a la carte dinners were very good. It was very difficult to get reservations and we could not get into the Kimono Restaurant during our 5 day stay there. We found the drinks to be made especially [... read more] strong and actually had to ask them to dial it back on a couple of occasions. It lacked things like a coffee shop with pastries and things like that to snack on during the day. Our room was a club level oceanview and was adequate but again dated. We spent all of our days on the beach and very much enjoyed ourselves. Other than the piano bar, the evening entertainment was very low key with some singers but no production type shows. We had a great time overall but it was definitely not worth the cost compared to other resorts we have been to and we will not be returning to a Sandals strictly based on what you get for the cost, there are better options.

Sandals South Coast: It's worth the drive!

Sandals South Coast is an 1 1/2 hours drive from Montego Bay along winding B roads. The resort is amazing. 5 Star all the way... accommodation, amenities, food, service, and beach and grounds. The hotel was at 99% occupancy and we had no trouble getting loungers in the shade. There are noisy, active locations and there are quiet tranquil areas. Paddleboards, kayaks, Hobie cats, waterskiing, snorkeling and scuba are all included. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and accommodating. [... read more] A la carte dining is included every night. Without butler or concierge service making reservations, we had no problems getting a table within 15 minutes if not immediately upon our arrival at any of the restaurants. The beach is large, has some trees and lots of palapas to provide shade, is shallow entry with little or no waves and above all is very clean. There are always plenty of clean towels for the pool or the beach. A fantastic experience overall. We will be going back. It's worth the drive to South Coast.

Sandals Montego Bay: Honeymoon in Montego Bay

Hotel was good (bad location because of the airport noise), very nice, spacious beach with many water activities, food was clean and made okay but, not much variety. for Adult resort I was expecting activities until at least midnight, all activities finishes around 10 pm and it wasn't that good, Beer selection is very poor, they only have their Red Stripe and Heineken considering %75 of their customers are from US and Canada. Their staff is very poorly managed, anytime I look at a Supervisor or a manager I see them playing with their phones and in the mean time their employees running around and not knowing what to do even at their a La Carte restaurants. most of the mornings I had to go out of my room and ask the employees to keep it down because of the joking and noise they are making at early morning hours. I was calling room service daily because they forgot to refill soap, shampoo, fridge....etc. I spoke with one of their club Sandals managers and she said she will have it corrected and Apologize, same day the cleaning lady came over and forgot to place Body shower and hand soap (which they didn't place a new hand soap for a week). The resort is right behind the airport and I would not recommend anyone to stay their because of the noise all day long from airplanes take off.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Very nice resort, not to mention the famous island

It's a nice resort , very well maintained. Large pools for everyone to please. All water sport equipments are very well maintained & secured to use them. Only few hours flight & there is paradise. All resort attendant are there to please & help us as much as they can I think there was a problem with the a/c in our bldg. as the a/c was running all the time, the room was cold as well as the main hall. Should have been rectified quickly as it brings a real cost to the co.

Sandals Caribbean Cay: sandals royal caribbean resort

french lacarte restaurant - breakfast really slow service and dinner not enough lighting had to use cellphone to read menu carribean restaurant - not enough lighting we were told we had a free candle light dinner. they told us we had to book within 72 hrs. we didn't know. poor excuse. beach chairs - 4 chairs under hut were all taken for butler service for only 2 people. the only chairs avail were in the sun. this happened all wk. airport near resort - no-one told us that the planes fly [... read more] direct overhead all day long. needs improvements. people there were the best very friendly, and food as all sandals was better than any other resorts we have been to

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: wedding anniversary at Ochi Beach resort

This was our fourth time at this resort in the last 5 years. Numerous improvement were done and some more are in the works. Ochi Beach resort is Sandals biggest resort with 2 separate sections and hop bus system that is wonderful. The staff at this location are still amazing and so are the five star restaurants. We had the butler villas which we selected because of the cost for sure but our last experience was so outstanding this is the way to go. Any thing you want,desire it will be done. On ou [... read more]r anniversary day, open the front door to see roses on a white towel with happy anniversary written, spent day at our semi private pool then cap of with a tremendous supper on our patio. Spent 7 glorious days with little rain on 1 day in the morning,pools were cleaned and very soothing, plenty of drinks around (would recommend Caribbean Blue which is made of vodka, less sugar so you don't blow up) Entertainment every night whether at both auditorium (outdoors) or watch a movie on soft sofa while getting some nachos,popcorn or pizza and our favourite is at Mama's house (Rabbit hole) she sounds like Adele. I would definitely go back again, lot's of water sports to do, contest every day if you wish, beach or pool volleyball,rock climbing,croquet,basketball,tennis,golf. The staff in this location are extremely happy and helpful no matter your issue. Best thing is put your wallet away, no tipping at all.Fantastic food throughout the resort at any time....

Sandals Royal Plantation: our favourite Sandals

We enjoyed the quietness of this hotel, as well as the fact that it only had 74 rooms. The staff were so friendly and always very helpful. Our 2 butlers were always available to help with dinner reservations, and any request we had. Our room was lovely and we had a view of the water, from our comfortable chairs. Food was great. We will return to the Sandals Royal Plantation on our next holiday.
