Hotel Bella Costa: Beautiful beach, beautiful staff...but...

We just returned from Bella Costa last week and had mixed feelings about the whole experience. The beach and staff are amazing and the food and drinks ranged from great to mediocre, depending on the day and the availability. Unfortunately despite the very hard working staff, the hotel itself is in need of much updating and repair. The rooms needed some freshening up in terms of beds, pillows, furniture, towels, TV's etc. Management tried hard to remedy whatever they could and it was much appreci [... read more]ated that the Air Transat rep and the hotel management sent letters of apology for what we complained about regarding our stay...all in all an up and down experience but not sure we would return unless there was some significant updating of the basics...again cannot say enough about how great the staff was and how they worked tirelessly to cater to all the tourists...Beach was gorgeous too and when we were there they had just finished repairing outdoor eating area which also looked amazing. Rooms are the main concern and if they freshened them up and did some basic repairs then we may consider returing to Bella Costa again.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great Family Vacation

The hotel grounds were very good, there was a lot of construction going on repairing damage from Hurricane Irma, they did their best not to interfere with the comfort of the guests. The rooms and exterior could use some updating but everything was acceptable to our tastes. The food was good and the a la carte's were excellent. Great service from staff all round, made our holiday wonderful. Guests need to remember this is Cuba and they do the best with what they have.

This was my sons first trip and he is 12. We met great people on the flight, bus and while checking in. He made excellent friends. The resort was great for kids as not huge so kids could easily be found when off playing. Lots of activities to do especially with all the water sport equipment. Famiilies all enjoyed the staff taking them out on cataramans for small tip to go out and enjoy snorkeling. The beach was beautiful. No one went hungry as always drinks and food available. The renevatoons continue and I’m sure it will amazing when completed but never felt like an intrusive construction zone.

Breezes Bahamas: Breath taking views

Got my phone stolen right upon arriving to my hotel. I was very upset and the hotel staff were helpful. The service is 4star the rooms are 3star. The food was 3.5star. And the people were just amazing.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Love, love, love!

Spent a week at Rooms Negril and couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Staff are amazing and so helpful, food is great, rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect, right on the beach. I will be returning!!!!

We love this hotel. Staff are friendly rooms are great. Location is ideal. We asked for the balcony rooms and got them on the second night. Security people are great to maintain the privacy on the property. Would stay there again.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Will Return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jewel. Check in could have went a bit smoother. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was stunning. Sand was soft and thick. Ocean was a bit rough for my small children but could have just been the time of year we were there(late November). Food at the buffet was fine. Not remarkable but not bad either. Wood fired pizza was very good as was the Italian Place. Didn’t get a chance to eat at the other restaurants. Resort was fully booked but it is spread out enough that we NEVER had a problem getting a chair at any time of day at the pools, park or beach. Lots of umbrellas and shade. Everything was easily within a very short walk of the room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel Bella Costa: Top Of The Line

Even thought they had the worst hurricane in history only 2 months ago this resort was up and running great. There was some construction going on to repair the damage but did not interfere with our vacation. We were told not to expect good food in Cuba but this resort had amazing food, I even gained 10 lbs in a week. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My wife is diabetic and can't drink regular pop so the staff went out of their way to make sure she had diet pop to drink. Hotel Bella Costa: 2nd time

Was there in July-they have had a 'cyclone' since. Now there Nov 25-30. But there was no difference except one restaurant being damaged. Food is very good, being Cuba. Lots of fruit, veg, coffee meats and bread. People are very friendly and helpful. Dairon at the front desk knew my name and always said hi. Mayi at the pool bar was friendly fast and informative. Hotel Bella Costa: Great time!!

Had a fantastic week at the Bella Costa. Staff are wonderful! Food was plentiful and so good. The room we were in does need updating but I'm sure that will get done when they are able. The beach was beautiful and they were hard at work rebuilding the beach restaurant.

Breezes Bahamas: Ok resort

Although the staff were very friendly and polite, I felt that paying almost 2700$ would at least warrant a fridge in my room and sufficient maid service. Apparently not. That was for just 7 days in a “5 star” resort. For one person. Never again.

Breezes Bahamas: Fair

We enjoyed are 2nd stay of the year at breezes. Are room location was the best. Garden Patio. Some minor complaints.We reported that the most to the drawers in the dresser wouldn't open. The 2 top drawers were broken. They said it would be reported to housekeeping. It never was fixed. The Food was very good, and overall we enjoyed our visit.

Breezes Bahamas: Stay away

Do not come to this place. The staff is rude they don't want to serve you and it's like you bother them. We stayed here from October 4 to October 12, 2017. We had no air conditioning for three days and no towels for two days. The managers are rude they rolled her eyes and they can't be bothered. The service is below zero. The hotel is run down mouldy and needs a lot of work. Don't waste your money stay somewhere else. It was our first time to the Bahamas and we would never go back. Breezes Bahamas: Stay away

Don't waste your money! No air conditioning, towels and the staff are so snotty and rude.. we will never go back..all the works in every department were rude and bullied the guest and were not friendly.. they rolled their eyes and ignored us and the other guest. It's like we were bothering all of them. They don't clean the tables, serve the beach, pool or lobby.. hated it here and wanted to come home the whole 7 days we were here..

Breezes Bahamas: amazing resort

it has everything you need to spent a great vacation.. all the people working there are awesome.. the food is also good too .. and the place is clean .. it s close to downtown and the airport .. it has all inclusive drink all day .. there are 5 delicious restourants at this resort

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great times

People and food were amazing. Stayed in a standard room and could us some updating. Grounds are well kept. Kids water park was amazing for my 3 kids and even mom and dad. Would recommend to anyone. Alittle far from airport being 1.5 hours away

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fabulous Resort!

Loved our trip! We went with a group of 30 for a beautiful wedding on the beach. The resort was awesome...it wasn't over booked so we never had to wait to be seated for a meal or have to fight someone for a spot around the pool or put towels on the beach chairs just to make sure you got one!! The food was great. Probably the best food I've had at an all inclusive. We will definitely be revisiting this resort in the future. Ya Man!!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing

I recently had the pleasure of vacationing at this resort to attend my son's wedding. I would recommend this resort to anyone who want to vacation with their family who have children. The waterpark was the highlight of my grandchildren's time spent there. The rooms were spacious, although a little dated, however always clean and the maid service I cannot say enough. Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing beach!

We loved our stay at Jewel Runaway Bay. The beach was amazing! The hotel staff were very friendly and the customer service was great. We spent a day going into Ochos Rios to do different excursions, and the resort staff made sure we were all accounted for leaving the hotel and returning. We felt very safe there!
