Beautiful place

Very relaxing experience,friendly staff,food and drinks were so good that I miss them already.The room was always done every single day no to forget to mention the salty piscine for sure a place to come back soon.

Awesome place.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Feels like the resort is well managed. Lots of employees wearing different uniforms for different jobs, but nobody was just sitting around. Everybody had a purpose of being there. 1) The grounds were clean. We liked especially abundance of greenery between the buildings, the botanical garden and the zoo. 2) The pools were also clean. Appreciated several toilets outside the pool area and on the grounds; did not have to go to the our room for that reason. Also we [... read more] liked that there were several showers on the grounds to rinse the salt water or the sandy feet coming up from the sea. 3) Food is amazing. Daily decorations at the buffet is nice. All four restaurants were a nice addition; however the buffet was so bountiful, we tended always to come back for desserts. Our favorite was Flamed Crepes with Edgar. 4) Activities at the main pool are for all ages and for all tastes and will keep you active all day long.We loved water aerobics with Tania or Fernando, crazy games with Daniel or Martin, trivia questions, bar tending classes with Alehandra, tequila tasting classes, salsa classes with Tanya "Bonito", archery with Martin, volleyball tournaments employees against guests. 4) The only negative comment is due to the nature's design of the see shore. See shore is rocky, especially dangerous under the water, when you can not see the rocks. Both of us injured our toes when the waves lifted us and threw on the rocks.

Amazing resort

Good place for vacation. Staff very supportive, clean rooms, excellent food and drinks. All inclusive package is worth every penny. Missed 24 hr. english movie channel. Thank you filpe, armando, roberto and patricia (chef) for excellent service.

Grand palladium

We have been to the hotel last year and absolutely loved it. Parts have even gotten nicer like the children's waterpark area. We have been disappointed with the kids club this year. Last year it was absolutely amazing and our daughter was looking forward to the kids club, this year unfortunately the girls didn't do anything that was on the schedule but mainly turned on movies for the kids and let them play video games for hours. Surf, sun, sand and the friendliest staff around!

The Grand Palladium is now officially my favourite place in Mexico!! Spent a week there with my boyfriend! They just got brand new longboards in for guests to use at the surf break right out front! And for those who don't know how to surf, they give you lessons!!!!! So many sea turtles and cool fish in the warm, clear ocean water!! The food was amazing and there's something for everyone! Amazing resort

my husband and I travelled to the Grand Palladium April 5-15, we had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to bartenders Carlos, and Viktor for going above and beyond with your customer service, and making sure our drinks were never empty. The food was great, lots of choices for lunch and dinner at the buffets. We ate at Ribs n More for dinner twice, and went to the Italian restaurant on our last nite.. Delicious!! We love [... read more]d our room, being told at check-in that we had a garden view room, and getting into our room to walk out on the patio to find out we had a great view of the ocean as well. The beds were super comfy, an added bonus when on day 5 of our 10 day vacation I came down with the stomach flu. At that point all I wanted was a comfy bed, and Iwe most certainly did. To the Management at Grand Palladium, you should be proud of ALL your staff, seriously. We are already planning next years vacation with our friend's at this resort...

Very Kid Friendly

I travelled with my 20 month old son by myself from Vancouver and met my sister (3 kids) and parents at this resort. It was very kid friendly with a 16" pool with slides for kids and a zoo onsite (monkeys, rabbits, parrots, turtles, etc.) my son wanted to see a couple times a day! The beach was a little tricky to swim with little ones but fine for looking for shells and putting feet in the ocean. There was surfing and boogie boarding right from the beach. The a-la-cartes were also very good but difficult with a toddler!

Great Resort

The hotel was amazing the rooms were clean and really nice. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The buffet and all the restaurants were delicious with a good variety of food. would go back there.

Beautiful resort.

Beautiful, clean resort full of friendly staff and lots to do. The resort is very close to the ocean too which is a nice bonus for those who don't like to walk far from their room to play in the sand.

Great week

Great location and beach lots of place for long walks . Restaurant are all good. Beeper system at restaurants is great idea.Waves are fun but watch out for rocks when they push you in!! Have lots of chairs

Lovely resort with all amenitites on Site

The hotel is lwell maintained and clean - rooms are comfortable with large bathroom. A/C would not go below 22 degrees so it was of no use. We had upgraded to a Deluxe Oceanview Room- 3rd floor - but balcony is small (only one chair fits) Food in the buffet was very good, lots of selection for everyone. A La Carte meals do not require a pre-reservation, but you can still have a 1+ hour wait to get in. Mexican has outdoor patio and is lovely. Grounds are well maintained. People and all staff very friendly - always with a smile - Front Desk, Antonio was superb to help us and allow for extended check out. The hotel is at the top of Punta de Mita and about 1/2 hour from PV. We went one day into Bucerias (15 min by cab $18 USD) to the Flea Market. The best part of the beach is the sea pool to the right of the standard beach - great swimming with no undertow and good for the kids. We had 2 days of rain, but still a great time and the resort does not disappoint. Be advised the resort is on a cliff, there is lots of walking and stairs to the beach. The 5 hotel complexes are three stories and no elevator. It's fine if you are capable to walk ( I did see poeple in wheelchairs) but if you are older and have difficulty with stairs - you will be okay if you stay at the pools since they are all above the beach level.

Fantastic location

This resort has an amazing location. The beach and pools are excellent and no one is bothered by vendors. The bars do not skimp on the alocohol content of their drinks and the service at the bars is good and the lobby bar has a very upbeat atmostphere in the evening with music and shows. The food was average but lots of availability in the buffets. My only complaint is that the restaurants do not take reservations and hold tables for people staying at the Royal Suites (whether they show up or no [... read more]t) so our experience was a wait of 2 1/2 hours for a table. I would go back to this resort again.

Crazy fun

Great resort with lots to do. Can boogie board, surf or paddle board in ocean. Free catamaran rides, sea water pool has crazy fish in it. Food was ok but bar service was great. quiet location beautiful beach

Would never recommend this hotel.

Rooms were dirty - dust everywhere, no cold water in the sink, very very luke warm water for showering - except for one day where the water was scalding so hot had to wet the facecloth and let it cool down then basically sponge bath. Never left toilet paper. Fridge didnt work for 2 days despite phone calls. AC is terrible. Broken table on the deck. Only one chair - deck can't hold more than 1. Cleaning of the room is terrible - one day we left at 8am saw the maid said Ola came back at 4 room sti [... read more]ll not done. One night no top sheet, another night no blanket. Everyone was told something different regarding the a la carte restaruants. If you go on an excursion and have to leave the hotel before 7 there is no where to get anything to eat. However they will make a sandwich for you and charge you $18 ! I talked to the Manager about all of the things that went wrong and he told me "I don't have any record of any of your calls", so he basically called me a liar. I would never ever go back to this hotel or any other Palladium.

Great resort

Great resort...my 3rd time staying at a grand Palladium....I've stayed at the one near playa del carmen mexico and in lucea near montego bay jamaica. This one was smaller than the previous 2. But it was nice :) 1st room we got the AC didn't work that well but they changed our room :)

Great Resort

Grounds nicely kept,always working on vegetation.Lobby clean and rooms clean.Service staff very accomodating and friendly.Pools (adult) well kept with great ocean views. Entertainment okay if a little repetitive but well presented and lively.

Great Girls Vacation

The Adult pool was amazing, it had the best view ever. Food was great and a lot of variety, staff were helpful. There was a lot of Drinks options and some crazy good drinks I had never heard of. Can't wait to go back!

It was ok

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were not comfy either. We found the buffet was just ok but better then the a la cartes. The adult pool could have been better looked After and warmer.

Great stand alone resort

The hotel was clean and well kept. The food choice was great and we enjoyed the different restaurants. Not a good place for someone that has difficulty with stairs since there are many. We will return.
