Great people !

All the personnel was amazing, always helpful with a smile. Some additional resources could make waiting times shorter. The facility looked that it was ageing and proper maintenance was not followed, could use some upgrading.

Beautiful resort!

This was our 1st time at Be Live, but have been to Punta Cana a few times. I think this resort is excellent value for your money. The grounds are kept up immaculately, the buffet was good. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Our room was slightly dated, but we spend our time at the beach! Lovely spa on site. We would definately return!!

Great resort

The food was amazing , atmospher was great and so was the service . Rooms were very clean and modern ,the beach was great with the Cabanas and lots of chairs to sit in, fitness center was good siZe and clean , modern .

Be live collection Punta Cana

The resort is very nice. The down falls are the main pool is extremely dirty with no filtration. The water is very murky. The burger place is terrible. The burgers , wings , fries onion rings, are made in advance and are served cold. It’s a waste of food and effort. They keep making them and there is no heating rack. The taste terrible The main buffet is clean and great food.

Resort review

Very disappointed. Entire staff spoke only Spanish, communication very difficult. Buffet restaurant food was bland, meat extremely tough and again descriptions were in Spanish. Resort itself was fairly new and well maintained in addition room was as I had hoped for so no complaints about that. Sun wing representative at the resort was extremely rude and disinterested in giving assistance. Service in general depended on amount and quantity of tips. Overall I would not return, and have already started to share my experiences with my friends here in Toronto.

What they offer online is not really what you get , you have to be vip to enjoy full service, when you order things to your room it is extra charge , if you go to sea food restaurant you have to pay for lobster, shrimp , when you go to buffet in the evening food is used for breakfast as leftover in different way

do not go there unless you wanna be hustled by the people!!!! no peace or what’s so ever, always bothered at the beach for excursions and in the hotel! people working there are mean not pleased to serve you if you do not tip them!!! only got excellent service from 2 people. the food was the same for 10 days, very bad food. water in the ocean is dirty and brown

The photos do not do this resort justice, it has a very modern feel, and the beach is gorgeous. Did not upgrade our room because we felt the standard room was great! Tons of entertainment would go back!

Nice resort!

Rooms are average, and the beach is ok. Sand is nice and clean, but the water on the beach is dirty. The main pool is also cloudy and dirty. The staff at the resort are very fun and they make it the best it can be! This was my second time back and i would definitely go again. The new adults only section looks beautiful!! I would love to stay there next.

Fun resort!

This was my second time staying at Be Live Punta Cana. Food is amazing, and grounds are very nice. Rooms are average, nothing fancy when you pay for a standard room, and the beach is nice. The water on the beach is not very clear, but they clean it regularly. The main pool is not very nice. Water was very very dirty, with bandaids and blood floating in it at one time. The staff make this resort the best it can be! All other pools are beautiful, and the new adults only section is gorgeous!

Had a great time at the Be Live Collection Punta Cana

Beautiful grounds on the resort well kept by the grounds crew. MANY amazing pools to enjoy throughout the resort (including kid pools for families with little ones). So many A La Cart restaurants to pick from (Mexican, Steak House, Lobster House, Brazilian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Teppanyaki) plus the buffet and Burger Shack so you can never get hungry. Staff were very friendly. Many bars to stay hydrated. Nightly entertainment was great.

Fun Resort

This resort is great. Always something to do and very lively. I was worried when I read reviews online. This resort did not let me down. The food was good. They had a diner that served all american foods like burgers fries nachos chicken wings and pizza. The food tasted just like the stuff you get here. The buffet always has something for everyone. And the ala carts are to die for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They do not water down the drinks here at all. Our mini bar was always full of soda and beer I seen reviews where they said you would forced or bugged to be VIP. I was never asked one time to upgrade and I wasn't treated any different than anyone who was a VIP. Most of the time VIPs were over on the normal side anyway. I would definitely go back again I loved it

AMAZING RESORT

I had stayed in resort for 2 weeks. That was a worry free vacation for me and my friend. Thank you! The grounds well maintained, pools and beech cleaned daily, room was a deluxe with a swim out, which we enjoyed so much. The cleaning was like a magic, nit and thorough. Special thanks to maids. Be live Collection Resort

Overall we had good time there, however there were some issues like, when we checked in they gave us a room that its roof was leaking, then they gave us another room which was close to street and there was alot of noise that we couldnt sleep well that night then for the third room they asked us to pay extra for a better room which we didnt planned for, on top of these most of resort staff were not able to speak english which was an issue.

Absolutely, 100% Terrible

The grounds and the layout of the hotel were the ONLY good thing about this resort. The food was terrible, no variety at the buffet and the quality left a lot to be desired. The whole 7 days we were there, our room never got cleaned; garbages didn’t get changed, bed linens didn’t get changed, nothing. We put the sign up for our room to be cleaned daily but it was obviously ignored. The staff are not very friendly. There is no real lobby or lobby bar to hang out at, unless you are VIP. The resort itself is situated in what feels like the middle of a random street, and when we pulled up to it I actually said out loud, “I hope this isn’t ours” as it was like we were just stuck there and didn’t really feel like it was gated from the local town/village. There were constantly people on the resort trying to get you to buy stuff, which is fine, but they were absolutely relentless and wouldn’t leave you alone. The pools were DISGUSTING, to the point where you didn’t dare open your mouth because you might swallow bird poop. There were not enough palapas/umbrellas in the pool areas. The pool on our block had only three umbrellas, and not enough seating. People even took one of the umbrellas and placed it on their terrace (why, I’m not sure because their balconies were fully covered so they wouldn’t need shade). The next pool had hardly any chairs, and no umbrellas at all and was the dirtiest pool of the two we swam in. The main pool we didn’t go to because it was too busy and you could never find a chair; and also there weren’t many shaded areas. The a/c didn’t work in the room as it should have. It was without a doubt the dirtiest, most unpleasant resort I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t believe it was even recommended to us by the travel agent. I’d never return, and I’d never recommend this hotel to anyone. My partner and I both got sick during our stay, and while I can’t say if it was from the food or not, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were. We’ve been down south 6 times within the last 7 years and have never gotten sick except for this time.

Resort could be improved!

The grounds where beautiful, pools was good, beach well the ocean was not so great lots of sea weed but the caretakers kept the beach clean ever day. The buffet was not so good the workers did not go out of their way at all, it seems that they cannot make a decent drink and the workers not so friendly they should also learn to speak English. I can say that the weather was great sunshine and blue skies every day.

Great resort

April 20, 2019 was our last day in be live hotel. When we were planning our vacation we were hesitant to choose this hotel because of reading a few bad reviews; but we were pleasantly surprised after arriving. Right away one of the welcoming crew named George made connection with us. He was supper helpful throughout our stay. Our room was superior deluxe and was opening to the pool which was very nice and convenient. Cleaning service was excellent. In the beginning our room was smelly but as soon as they knew about it they took our concern seriously and problem was solved right away. Food was good , salad and fruits were excellent. quality. Enjoyed grilled fish , chicken , delicious cooked veggies. We drowned ourselves in juicy passion fruits, sweet mango and papayas. Entertainment crew “excellenteh” ,” chocolateh” , “coco cola “and MC were very very nice and family like. Crew were funny , friendly and talented and inviting. We did not have kids but saw lot of activities for kids at every corner. If we want to recommend one thing to improve that is to increase staff in Buffett and restaurants. Servers did not have time to make connections with the guest so we spent less on tips. Lots of restaurant to choose from, Mexican, steak house, Lobster and couple of more. All ages hotel. Many young families and retirees mixed. Main pool seemed too small and crowded. Did not use the main pool. But other vip pools were available. Overall we had excellent time in this hotel and will be back.

1 week in paradise

My second time coming to D.R but this time in Punta Cana at the Be Live Collection, it was AMAZING! I booked it 10 days in advance and got an amazing deal. The staff is super Friendly and helpful and the resort and beach is 10/10. No complaints what so ever. The food was great compared to other all inclusive I have been to. White sand and light blue water, very bright and relaxing resort with lots of activities going on and great buffet and Al La Carte. I also realized the staff is nicer at this resort because they get treated better here, Everyone is happy and super friendly. It was perfect For my Boyfriend and I. I hope to return soon. We had a VIP room but in the regular section and it was more than perfect. Our room was near literally everything! I didn’t hear any kids or crazy people which I loved and I didn’t pay extra to stay in the kid-free zone, I also liked how there are so many Different types of people (single couples families). Another plus, is that there are local gift shops 1 min out of the resort and they are super friendly as well with amazing deals, this trip Was beyond perfect and I’m so happy! Very disappointed

We just got back home on Monday. The DR is a beautiful country and the locals are very friendly. We were VIP on the adult side of the resort. The room itself was okay, the bathroom ceiling leaked, but that's to be expected, the water was hot and we had water every day. The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows were great! We did notice though that our room was not as nice as many of the other rooms were, and when you pay the extra for VIP you expect your room to be as nice as everyone el [... read more]se that paid the same. The room is in need of upgrades. Our fridge did break, but they fixed it. TV didn't work but we didn't bother with it anyways. We were in block 2. We tipped the maid and the person that restocks the fridge daily. The fridge was never restocked. We had to chase down someone every day to get stuff for the fridge. The maid never once left a flower in the room or animals made out of towels on the bed. The sheets were still full of sand every night and we even had to chase them down one night to clean our room. We also had to chase them for towels. The maid also walked in our room at 7:30 one morning while we were sleeping and woke us up. Also, you could tell they were in and out of your room a few times a day after cleaning it so make sure you use the safe. Some peoples safes were broken into while we were there, but ours was good. Now for the staff. When we arrived our luggage was removed from the bus on the family side of the resort. We had a person tag it to the adult side and then we were told to leave it there and we were taken over to the adult VIP lounge. We had someone take our info and go to check us in for us. We were told our rooms would be ready by 2 and then he disappeared never to be seen again. At 2 someone said our rooms wouldn't be ready until 3. They tell you to go and enjoy yourself while you wait, but keep in mind, you still have your carry on, purse, etc with you and your sunscreen is back in the family lobby in your checked baggage. So you can only basically wait. Between 3 - 3:30 you find out your room is ready. They don't come and tell you this, you have to keep going to the desk to see if it's ready yet. Now remember, your luggage is still on the other side so they tell you they will go and get it and bring it to your room. This took another hour and a half. We tipped the bell boy, and he gave us a dirty look and walked away. No thank you, nothing! I also need to add in here that a few people went and got their sunscreen out of their bags and one couple even picked up their own bags. None of them were even questioned, so basically anyone could have taken our luggage. The staff at the hotel didn't have a clue what they were doing. Trying to book a restaurant took 5 days and when we did finally get one the restaurant didn't have our reservation. Hubby got up at 6am because they said you had to book in lobby early. At 7 she said come back he's not here. He said when she said I don't know, so went back at 8 and there is a line up with people booking with her. The same person that told us to come back to book because the person wasn't there that does the booking! With VIP adult you get a $200 room credit. We had to ask our Air Canada rep what its good for because staff don't know. He says we can buy a bottle from the bar. The bar says cash only. Had to go back and get the AC rep to get it for us. We never once saw the butler we were supposed to have even though we didn't plan on using him. We had to use same beach towels every day because there were never any clean ones (not a major thing). The entertainment and bar staff were great but the hotel staff were lazy and wanted tips for their laziness. They were also rude. The beach is full of hecklers and they come at you over and over again. They don't bother you after you give them a firm no. They were nice guys other than the constant selling, but they are just trying to make a living. Myself and others we knew also got food poisoning. So, after 5 of our 7 days we were ready to go home and had just had enough of the hotel staff. We upgraded to VIP because of all the negative reviews we read before going here, but don't waste your money upgrading. We went there with the attitude that we would make the best of it as we aren't complainers, but there was just so much wrong. We went to Cuba last year and enjoyed it far more than this resort for less than half the price we paid at this resort. It really soured us on this beautiful country.

Quite the disappointment...

My buddies and I had a late flight in, and arrived at the hotel at 7:30pm Dominican time. Despite rooms typically being ready by 3pm, our room wasn't ready for us. The maid was sloshing a bunch of dirty water across the floor in a panic, our A/C unit was leaking and dripping through the ceiling, the lock-box/safe was a tiny metal box screwed to the wall with 1 screw... (as if this is somehow acceptable and safe for me and my guests to leave thousands of dollars, our cellular devices, our jewelry [... read more] and our passports in?!?!?) What a joke! Then we realize that the lock-box/safe doesn't even have a lock or combination pad... and that we had to rent a lock and key from the front desk for $21 USD. Once we had rented the lock and key, we then realized that the safe itself was damaged and that the door wouldn't allow the lock to fit into it regardless. We proceeded to sit in our rooms for 3 hours, while waiting for a hotel staff to come and solder the box, to allow the key to fit. If that wasn't enough; our toilet flooded after the first flush. I have traveled to 23 different resorts, and it's safe to say that this resort was one of the worst resorts I have ever visited. My friends and I were transferred to 3 separate room locations within 2 days, before agreeing to pay for an upgrade to the privilege side of the resort. All three rooms had broken A/C units, and we spent the entirety of our stay in a 26-28deg C room. I will could not be more displeased.
